Room was great! However they put two single beds in the room when we had paid for a double bed! This was frustrating as we are a young couple obviously wanting to sleep in the same bed not separate single ones Hotel reception couldn't have been any less helpfully! They wouldn't do anything to help out! They made a mistake with our room which they didn't even apologize to us about it! Not even an offer to fix the problem!
The was very frendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a few minutes walk from the Palace and Pagoda. It is not a big disadvantage but a part of the hotel is still under cunstruction / renovation. When it is finished I'm sure it will be an ideal place to stay in Phnom Penh
The hotel is in a great location with rooms facing over the river. The Royal Palace is just 5 minutes walk away and the bars / restraurants a 10 minute walk down the river front (which is a nice walk). The actual rooms are very well setup, being bright, clean and big with excellent bathrooms. The breakfast is ok, but I did expect more. Also the hotel did not have an internet terminal for me to use. They have wireless in the rooms but travelling without a computer meant I needed an actual computer. However they did say it was to be setup by end of 2010. If not it you can go across the road to Hotel Cambodia to use theirs. Also there is no 24hr room service, closing time is driven by when the restaurant closes.
a very pleasant surprise, we realised that it was a new hotel and not everything was perfect but we will definitely stay there again, the views from our room were amazing and its position made it very convenient for trips around pnom penh
your staff were great, especial the hotel taxi driver ' Mr Lucky '. The band was great, my wife and my self enjoy our time in the louinge listening to them. The staff in general were very friendly and helpful.
Nice and helpful staff, especially those from business center Fair pool and spa center. A little bit expensive for the region! Even if close to city center, the area looked very poor. They blocked from my business card the total amount of the invoice and two weeks later, even if I paid, of course, the amount is still blocked. Be carefull!
The staff were very friendly. Rooms decorated to a very high modern standard, loved the bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious. The central market is a must see even though it is still under construction. The tuk tuk drivers tried to charge you more because your staying in an expensive hotel. But dont let them. $1.50 to the riverside. $14 for a day to the killing fields. $9 in a taxi to/from the airport.
The rating you have given it and the fact that there was very little choice Cleaness of my room, the smell of food and cooking which filled the hotel and the location.
Nice place in the city, very new and western style!
Nice place everything doen with taste and love. Very good value for money. A hidden treasure. Taxi drivers cannot find it. Some address indication in local language should be given.
I was happy with the cleanliness and the design of the room. The staff was also helpful and attentive.
Great breakfast and room service. No wireless in the room (but a cable was provided upon request) and extremely loud repair work going on inside the hotel. Laundry returned after 2 days and was marked and not clean.
the space is engough but not very comfortable not very nice,a reception very indifferent, food harmful to stamoch
The design of the room. Nice Cambodian items. Since the hotel managed to get into lonely planet, the prices of the hotel went up substantially. The comfort and service you get for the price (we paid $82 per room/day for 2 persons room) is far too little for Cambodian standards. You can get a 4 star hotel with a swimming pool for $35 per day for two people in Phnom Penh. There was no lift, so we had to climb 4 floors. There is no wifi in the room, you have to go to the lobby. The hotel personnel would try to make use of you for every single thing you eat/drink: A bottle of water is 5 dolars. We wanted to order an omelette in the evening -in the menu 2 eggs costs $1.30-, then we were charged $4.50 because they put cheese and mushroom in it.
The proximity to everything, the room is great, and the view from the balcony. The staff did a very good job of taking care of me. The tuk tuk drivers always hanging out right in the front.
