Friendly staff, pleasant surroundings, convenient locale.
I don't know who does the hiring, because she/he deserves a complement. Every member of the staff were pleasent, smiling, happy on the job and trustworthy. Well done..
Upgrade, every so slightly, the wine selection at the bar. You would sell more and it would be a better experience for the guests.
Same room as before
friendly & helpful staff
there was no complimentary coffee in lobby and coffee make in room made coffee that looked like weak tea. restaurant didn't open til 7am so couldn't even buy coffee until then. Price was the highest in the area but it was a nice place.
I come to phoenix 3 times a year and i always stay at this holiday inn. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The waiting hall
Dirty carpet, outdated, swiming pool water was not clean, very small exercise room, dirty entry to the hotel, seem like no one pick up the garbage.
I arrive late and nobody was at the lobby to do check in. The security guard went to look for somebody.
looks a little bit outdated
easy to check in. hotel was clean
checked in around 9 PM. the surrounding businesses were in bad areas. glad to have security in parking lot. no invoice given at check out. Billed later even though stay was prepaid
breakfast not included, restaurant small but breakfast was reasonable and good. great Mexican restaurant across the street. great getting on and off freeway. and close to Goodyear ballpark.
freeway noise, elevator to slow, airconditnor to noisy. but I would still stay here
We stayed here because of the location to what we were there for. The front desk clerk at night was very friendly and quick as it was late and we were very tired.
We were a little shocked that with the price of the room, breakfast was not included. Not only was it not included, the prices were rather high for the food served.
I thought we were staying in a good place but.
Housekeeping didn't take care of our room the next day. We went out by 9 am and didn't come back until 10 that night and discovered the room was cleaned. I went to the desk to talk to them about it and they said housekeeping was gone and they didn't
Sparsely furnished average property. Carpet and furniture need upgrading and updating. Bathroom had no drinking glasses. Good for overnight stay.
Right off of I-10 and next to a McDonald's.
In a rough part of Phoenix.
The Staff was the only positive factor.
Called the hotel to request a none smoking room with two double beds. Arrived at the hotel to find out that the only room available was one with a single bed. I was told that because I booked through Price Line that they do not hold the room request.
location was good for ease of highway access; front desk staff was friendly and helpful. free wi-fi and printing services.
maid service was poor. some of the days rooms were not cleaned and towels were not re-stocked; no continental breakfast; stairways that were not easily accessible.
Room cleanliness or lack of. Carpet, etc.
Comfortable bed but location is not good. In a neighborhood that is not very safe.
Did not know that I would not be able to get 2 beds and was given a king when we had 4 people staying in the room.
The staff at the check-in area were very friendly.
The maid service was questionable. One day only replaced one wash cloth. Another day they took bath mat but did not leave another. After 2 days of no kleenex went to front desk to get another box.
Nice staff, very friendly.
Some of the parking area was very small and even cars would have trouble getting in and out. There was only (1) elevator in the middle of the lobby, and was used by all patrons and all staff (with carts and such). Slow elevator and not convenient.
I went to Phoenix to enjoy Baseball Spring Training. I chose this hotel because it is 2 miles or less from the stadium the Milwaukee Brewers use for Spring Training. I enjoyed the restaurant every breakfast. I thought it was a pretty good value. I also ate dinner there my last night and thought that was pretty good too. Their service staff is friendly, but they only seemed to have one 'host' and one waitress for breakfast and dinner. So give yourself at least an hour to eat. The hotel is kind of in shady neighborhood. There was a homeless guy hanging out at the McDonald's across the street from the hotel almost every day. But I didn't experience any problems.
The hotel itself was nice and the staff was great. My only complaints would be the work out room and the pool area. The equipment in the work out room was in need of repairs and the room was very stuffy. I did not feel comfortable walking or running in the neighborhood alone so I was forced to use the room. The pool was nice but there is no sun area and no lounge chairs. The very small area that gets some sun only get sun at about 8:30-9:00 in the morning. When I'm traveling from the midwest winter/spring I would like some sun!!
The property was OK for what i needed on this business trip. It was the staff that made it really work
I stayed here for a class that was conducted at the hotel. Overall the area that the hotel is in is less than attractive I'd even say unsafe once it gets dark. Not many decent places to eat around the hotel so a car is necessary. The hotel staff is a mixed bag...some of the front desk people were quite nice while the manage did not return my calls regarding an incident with my car. It is a hotel I would only stay at to make attending the class easier though I'd hope (and plan on mentioning it to the instructor) to change the location. The hot tub is cold and the chemical levels could bleach clothing. Overall i'd only stay there if I had to...there are much nicer hotels in Phoenix for around this same price.
THE HOTEL IS PREDICTABLE AND CLEAN, BUT LACKED IN THE AREA OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE BASIC AMENITIES WERE THERE WHICH WAS A PLUS, BUT STAFF DID NOT EXTEND THEMSELVES TO CUSTUMERS. IN THE SPORTS BAR, THE WAITRESS OR STAFF WAS NOT PRESENT MOST OF THE TIME. I HAD TO LOCATE HER IN THE KITCHEN. WHEN ASKING FOR DIRECTIONS THE COUNTER PERSON DID NOT OFFER TO PRINT OR GIVE DIRECTIONS, INSTEAD I WAS SENT TO THEIR BUSINESS ROOM. ONE OF THE PRINTERS DIDN'T WORK AND I HAD NO ONE TO ASSIST ME. FORTUNATELY, I KNEW MY WAY AROUND THE COMPUTER, OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE HAD DIFFICULTY FINDING MY WAY AROUND TOWN. OVERALL IT WAS, OK FOR PRICE, BUT COULD IMPROVE IN SERVICE JUST A BIT.
Rooms were nice and spacious. The girls at the front desk were helpful whenever we needed anything. Not much to do in the surrounding area, but close to the stadium area.'
Customer service was wonderful. Rooms ae spacious and probablly the best night of sleep in my travels this year(over 50 nights).
The rooms are only so so, definatly does not live up to a holiday Inn standard. The service was only ok, some of the staff has a problem with English!!! The location is convenient, right off the interstate. But the neighborhood is TERRIBLE!!!. If you visit, do not wonder to far from the Hotel, as it is iin a very bad area. We absolutly would not stay again.
