Campobasso, the regional capital, is a 70 minute drive away.
Pros: The people The place
Pros: The breakfast was pastries and coffee. The room was very large and the bed was sumptuously comfortable. Loved the bed most of all. The decor was fun and medieval. Felt like a wandered into the past but they had hot and cold running water and a bidet.
Cons: It was a bit difficult to find because the front door is on a stairwell rather than a street so we paid to park on the wrong street. It was remedied easily by later moving our car to the correct street.
Pros: Pasquale e Rosita were exceptionally friendly and wonderful hosts. The B&B was cozy, comfortable and well furnished. The breakfast was delicious. We loved it at the B&B and would highly recommend to others.
Cons: Can’t think of a thing.
Pros: Beautiful place. Wonderful town and people. Host was fantastic.
Pros: We loved this quaint bed and breakfast. The room was beautifully decorated. But the best of all was the hospitality of the owner Lucita!! She helped my husband explore his family history in Agnone! And her Mom made us a wonderful breakfast. We definitely would recommend and hope to return one day!
Pros: We enjoyed a two night stay in this lovely B&B. Charming town, beautiful historic residence and friendly hospitality. We were very happy with every minute of our visit.
Pros: Excellent property, had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Host were great to deal with!
With a stay at B&B Il Tomolo in Agnone, you'll be a 2-minute walk from Piazza del Plebiscito and 10 minutes by foot from Agnone Piazza Vittoria Monumento Ai Caduti. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Very nice staff. Close to everything Good breakfast Excellent local cheeses
Cons: Bigger room and air conditioning We had a 300 year old hotel But well preserved Wonderful bathroom and comfortable bed
Pros: Very warm welcome from host Carlo. Great spread for breakfast. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom.
Cons: No air conditioning. The room was quite noisy with passing cars going down the road and the bar opposite which was open until 1am.
Pros: Location was great and Carlo was a wonderful host. The place has pros and cons and it’s important to know them beforehand. I traveled alone so I managed very well in my space.
Cons: Some rooms are “little apartments” on the street, so entrance is kind of exposed (nothing happened and it’s not likely to). Then you have to go to another “apartment” for breakfast. (There was a fridge there that was available to everybody, that was positive.) I didn’t read or acknowledged that daily cleaning had an extra cost. I didn’t need it anyway. I think there was no air conditioning.
Pros: Friendly, clean, nice breakfast, homely, accommodating
Pros: The location The bathroom was very nice Very lovely staff person Very accommodating Would definitely return
Cons: Flies were a bother during breakfast
Pros: Carlo was an excellent host. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful.
Pros: Friendly owner

Pros: the real Italian countryside and cuisine Nardia her mum dad and partner made us feel welcome and relaxed , nothing was a problem specially enjoyed being accompanied by Russell their Italian mountain sheep dog on my early morning walks
Pros: Pleasant stay all round, we also had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. The owners' kindness is unmatched, they also speak English. The place although slightly far from the town's centre is a true heaven.
Pros: Breakfast was great. Everything was great. Several staff spoke English very well. Nadia was the friendliest server that I have had in years. The chef/owner/etc. was a great person and could solve any problem that you could think of.
Cons: The narrow road to it.
Pros: Beautiful location, fabulous views, very friendly family, spotlessly clean. Maria is a wonderful cook. Meals were excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the varied antipasto and the tagliatelle with truffles and mushrooms. Very inexpensive, especially considering how nice it is. The location is very quiet and rural. I drove to many of the small nearby towns and hiked in the forest preserves at Collemelluccio and Montedimezzo, both nearby. I really loved it and hope to return.
Pros: Friendly, informative staff. Good guide's to the local area. Beautiful peaceful countryside close to some sites of archeological interest. Car essential, roads quiet.
Pros: It was absolutely gorgeous !!!
Pros: This was our second visit - we wouldn't have returned unless we found it great the first time. The location, friendly people and great traditional food make for a first rate holiday break. Nadia and her parents prepare excellent local dishes and have a good selection of wine from Molise; their prices are extremely reasonable and you feel well looked after. The Molise countryside offers gentle walks in nature reserves or more ambitious hiking, with some sites of great archaeological interest within easy reach.
Cons: No criticisms. More time to stay there would have been nice.

Pros: Great view of nearby town
Cons: Spa was closed on Sunday afternoon
Pros: Great view Good breakfast
Cons: We placed in an handyman room- the bathrooms wasn’t convenient.
Pros: basic nice view but to far to walk anywhere in the evening
Cons: suspected food poisoning after evening meal woke up in night with cramps and feeling sick also sqits
Cons: The 30 euros for late checkout. I’ve stayed at other hotels that never charged me for only a couple hours.
Pros: Beautiful hotel with amazing view of the town. Sitting outside having a bottle of wine looking up at Bagnoli glowing in the evening was absolutely stunning! The spa facilities are fantastic and the massage was terrific!

Cons: Nothing we didn't like.
Pros: Villa Augusta is owned and operated by a lovely family from the charming village of Civitanova. Their warmth and kindness makes you feel like you are a guest in their home. It's a wonderful perch from which to explore the natural beauty of the entire Molise region.
Pros: This was a fabulous find for anyone travelling to Civitanova Del Sannio. I can’t say enough good things about everyone who works here. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food was some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Do NOT miss the Tiramisu, even if it’s something you wouldn’t usually order. The food is sublime in the adjoining restaurant. The people were so accommodating and helpful. I came here in search for information about my family and everyone wanted to help. I can never thank them enough for their hospitality. A trip I will remember the rest of my life! Thank-you again! My heart is full, as was my stomach. :)
Bed & breakfast in the historical center of Agnone, city of art which has been awarded an orange flag by the Italian Touring Club (certification of touristic inland environmental excellence). Guests are accommodated, in 3 rooms and 3 apartments (houses), in early 20th century finely restructured palaces. Local artisans skillfully renovated ancient stone walls and arches, reused original pavements (chianche), and restored the existing furniture in full respect of the rural nature of the establishments. Ulterior details, such as early century wrought iron bedsteads and precious hand made draperies, embellish further the establishments and render them particularly refined. All the houses, which may guest 2 or 4 people, have a kitchen, balconies and all possible comforts. They, moreover, all have private bathrooms and independent entrances.
Pros: We were not in the main b & b, so I can't comment on rooms there. We were in another part around the corner. Lovely view, sweet room, nice bathroom, very quiet, great value. Very nice owner, arranged an English tour of the bell foundry for us. (Highly recommend this!)
Cons: Listing on booking.com said it had a/c. Our room didn't.
Pros: The rooms were stylish and very comfortable; and spacious enough for a few days. Heating was available to take out the chill at night. We moved rooms halfway through stay. First room had wifi extender and excellent wifi. Plenty of information provided in a well organised pack, about self guided excursions in the area. Arrival was simple and straightforward.
Cons: Second room, higher up and called Tina, had little to no wifi so we struggled to do forward planning, blogging and banking we needed to arrange. It was raining the final two days to the point where it was difficult to get out. It would have been nice to have been able to make a cup of tea in our room or in a common area. But no facilities in our room and It was a wet walk to the nearest cafe (where we had to go for our free breakfast - coffee and cornetto). These are minor things and the unseasonably bad weather a huge impact. But I must stress that despite these things, we would still go back and stay.
Pros: The breakfast, croissant, coffee, jam, was at a local cafe just a few minutes walk to the main square in the old section of the town. Made us feel like a local - perfect amount for us in the morning. Very comfortable room with a balcony & a view that we will cherish in our memories - perfect for sunset viewing!
Cons: There was nothing at this B&B that we did not like - La Tina room had the most wonderful view!
Pros: The B&B was amazing! Valentina was so friendly and kind, spoke amazing English and treated us like family! Would definitely recommend, was in a great location and great accommodations. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay, we truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate your hospitality!
Pros: Cozy and warm apartment. Great view from the yard. Very helpful and kind owner. Perfect for a family with 2 kids. Italian style breakfast in a very nice place close to the apartment.
Pros: This is our second time staying here. We love the decor and homey feeling of the apartment. It is very clean and the host Valentina is a very nice lady. She has a lot of information about Agnone to share. Agnone is a beautiful town. We walked everywhere. We visited the Marinelli bell factory and the Caseificio Di Nucci cheese factory both wonderful tours. Agnone is a great place to visit only 2.5 hour drive from Rome. Every morning we a a ticket for a cafe and croissant at the local cafe.
Cons: We love everything about it.
Pros: Warm and friendly place that was very clean and comfortable.
Pros: The breakfast was very good quality but some fruit/yoghurt etc would have been nice. Agnone and the surrounding areas are beautiful and interesting.
Pros: Valentina is an excellent hostess. We were provided with an extensive itinerary of sites in the area. We had dinner at her mother’s agriturismo...what a treat! An absolutely wonderful experience!

Cons: nothing. we have stayed 2 nights and wish we could stay more
Pros: Great shower and the choice of itineraries provided in print was superb, this really made our stay change from quite ordinary to really good. The scenery around the property is spectacular. The apartment was spacious.
Cons: The stove was difficult to light with a cigarette lighter, a proper gas lighter would have made quite a difference. Sleep would have been improved with better pillows.

Pros: Anna Maria is a wonderful host. The Inn Is very clean, historic and the meals were outstanding. The Inn is a converted winery. The area is quiet, rural but very beautiful!
Cons: If you stay here, you must have a vehicle. It is in the very outskirts of Agnone. There are two guest rooms. One is an ideal room. The second has a pitched ceiling making it difficult to stand if you are tall or more than two guests in the room. Still worth staying here. It is such a reprieve after visiting in the larger cities.
