Breakfast was very poor. Definately not a 4 star hotel
Size of room, friendly staff Location, toilet in room had a sewer smell all three days even though it looked clean, every evening we would get a smokey smell in our room, was told it was from outside burning in the area.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The location is good with lovely views
nothing there was not a buffet breakfast, on the table 1 basket with 2 crossants, 2 toast envelope, coffee, every day we need to ask juice, fruits. dinner service bad the last night dinner the cook did the waiter service to us
The staff were very attentive and the hotel was in a great location and suited our needs. Not applicable
Staff is very attentive to the needs of the clients. Dinner served at the hotel restaurant was very good and very reasonably priced; however, we cannot comment on the free breakfast since we were too rushed in the morning to take it. Hotel offers modern amenities in rooms. Hotel room was very reasonably priced.
Every thing was spot on made really welcome and treated as kings and queens Only bad thing was the shower was really small
wonderful newly built (2007) Hotel, that looks and feels like a historic Grand Hotel. Perfect service, maybe even too caring.... Rooms would need an upgrade, and the bathroom one more shelf.
We were struggling to find lost luggage. We spoke no Italian and the staff no English. In spite of all that they were extremely helpdful. We communicated using an online translater and that worked. Place and brand new and emaculate. The views are wonderful. It helped to have a GPS to find the place.
Staff made us feel very welcome.
Big, nice looking place, food was pretty good. Price was good. A little creepy, as I was one of only a few guests in the huge hotel. No English spoken at all by staff. One guy was almost too nice.
The hotel is quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff tried very hard to please. The staff was very friendly. The staff was, at times, slightly overly attentive.
i stay there for short time but everything was excellent. maybe breakfast
Great hotel, great location, staff very helpful, English spoke. Breakfast was modest, continental style. Would recommend.
The hotel is situated in a lovely countryside. It is very clean and has a car park. The rooms were modern and spacious. They tried to charge us for two meals at the restaurant which we did not have. When we informed them they did remove it from our bill. Good job that we check the invoice at the end of the stay
Very reasonably priced hotel with good standard of accommodation. Staff helpful and friendly. Very clean and comfortable rooms. No
Front office staff very helpful. The whole place stunk of cigarette smoke, everywhere, everything, even my pillow and bed sheets. Location was misrepresented on the internet: it is not on "acres of land" . There isn't even a jogging place.
Excellent location close to Benevento. Good quality hotel, staff were very friendly. Didn't see a swimming pool although one was advertised.
Nothing There were many things I didn't like. The breakfast in the morning was very poor. Only four slices of bread left, and rather dried out and sad looking bread. The butter tasted like it had gone off and the milk for cereal was warm. The laundry service was very poor also, and some of our clothes came back smelling of smoke. Not happy and would not stay there again.
This is a good and quiet hotel. Very friendly staff, but it was a little bit difficult to talk with them - they mainly speak Italian, but not English. The room was clean. Very poor breakfast for 4 star hotel.
The. Food in the restaurant was poor quality for a 'so called' 4 star hotel!!!
Spacious and clean Room lighting poor
The staff was very helpful and courteous! They were able to communicate with us even though we speak very little Italian! The food at their restuarant was wonderful and reasonably priced! To be honest I don't remember reading hotel guest reviews. I booked primarily due to its location to Contrada where my wife's grandfather was originally from in Italy. So I left the review part blank.
The kindness of the staff.
Quite good little far from any majior shopping(avellino) very relaxing
The stay was wonderful from the moment we arrived to leaving its not often i leave a hotel with a tear in my eye but we where treated really well by your staff,we found you on the net and still cannot believe our luck and will come back again for sure one day. Nothing to not like
All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was very good.
Hotel staff and cleanliness. Breakfast very limited
the staff were very helpful and friendly shower a little small
Excellent restaurant None
Attentive and helpful staff.
Parking lot available even if the hotel was in the city center. Confortable beds No insulation betewen the rooms, noise from the other rooms. Breakfast could be improved
The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was average but sufficient.
Poor breakfast for a 4 stars hotel
Staff no tea making kettle
good breakfast. nice room.off road parking
Everything worked very well, clean, comfort, good quality and very kind personnel. Special thanks for the Director for his hospitality. Maybe, us as nordic people, would like a few variety of breadth (pane)
Friendly Staff and Free WiFi was a huge benefit I would strongly recommend that you need a car to stay at the hotel as there is no pavement access so you are limited to where you can go once at the hotel.
Location a short distance from the motorway exit was very convenient, if not totally clear to find, and restaurant was not bad at all. Large bedroom but very bare of decoration.
English speaking hotel Fab food Breakfast was mediocre but filled a hole first thing in the morning. No bad points!
Friendly hotel staff; nothing was too much trouble - it was Easter weekend and there were few other guests around but they openened up the kitchen - offered us anything we wanted (even full continental breakfast when we got up late the first morning!) Nothing
Modern hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Hotel is located in an unattractive industrial area.
Overall good accomodation and location.
Easy to park and easy to find, located on the main road. Very quiet and large room. TV set too small. Weak point is breakfast, there was basically nothing. It was more like drinking something at the bar. This needs to be improved. Shower with water only coming from the top. No bathtuub. Internet available only with additional charges
To be honest, everything. Superb stay. First time in Italy and thought it was lovely. No.
Clean rooms. Breakfast was adequate. Not the typical meat and cheese with rolls. Parking was not adequate.
Despite not speaking Italian the staff, in the main not able to speak much English, were very friendly and helpful and for the reasons stated in 2 above. It was very disappointing, given that it is mid summer and very hot the swimming pools were not avaviable for use during our stay. I understand they will be re-opened on 18th August. This meant the children in our party had to be taken to the public swimming pool which was some distance away.
It is very convenient for me to get to Savignano Iripino and we have stayed there in 2008 and this year. The restrauant has very good food no
Easy to park and not difficult to reach The hotel is expensive for what they offer. Breakfast is below standard with only some cakes and jam. The TV was not working but I did not have the time to complain. In order to use internet you have to pay. No bathtuub. In my opinion this hotel should be classified as a 3 star.
Friendly and hospitable owners, gourmet traditional meals, peaceful and very picturesque location breakfast was minimal
The hosts were very accomodating, very helpfiul, very friendly. Thne food was very good value for the price; the wines were excellent! The sunset view from our room was very beautiful. Somewhat difficult to find
Our host was a wine producer and sommelier, we enjoyed his enthusiastic interest in wine. It is family owned and we had a very good home cooked and grown vegetarian meal.
Tenuta Montelaura is a find. Close to so many southern Italian places of interest and owned and run by very capable and friendly resident/owners and their family. Lello and Flavia Tornatore are warm and hospitable with LLelo a wine expert recognized throughout Italy and Flavia a gourmet chef. I would be hard prssed to find another such small and wonderful (11 rooms) Bed and Breakfast anywhere near and far.
It was a very clean bedroom with adequate light for reading. We had a terrible time finding it. It is located in a building in a very small piazza down a narrow (think medieval) street off a pedestrian only area inaccessable by auto. On the verge of just giving up and finding another hotel, we asked someone who knew the owner and took us there.
