With a stay at Palazzo Ruggiero in Montefusco, you'll be 9.6 mi (15.5 km) from Rocca dei Rettori and 10.2 mi (16.4 km) from Arch of Trajan. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: An ancient palace, restyled to a very cosy and friendly bed & breakfast : couldn't be better! This little old village is very charming, strolling around is a real pleasure. Nice panoramic views, moreover, on the village from the B&B and on the valley around.
Pros: Beautiful home, friendly owner who couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. The town is lovely.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Pros: Pasquale made our stay in Montefusco a wonderful experience. The room had a wonderful view of the church and square, we got special excursion to the main sights and attractions of the village. The breakfast was outstanding, and everything in the room and on the table was shaped up to the smallest detail. You can really see that Pasquale is an artist! Definitely recommend, this place is worth a trip up the hill.
Pros: What a great stay! Ennio should be elected Mayor of Montefusco. he made great recommendations for things to do and scheduled us for tours. He went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and spent time talking about life in Italy and Montefusco. It was perfect and we'd love to visit again...or Ennio, come see us in California!
Pros: Hill top location
Pros: Wonderful hosts and an amazing building — modern renovation of an old palace, in a tiny town atop a mountain. Incredible views. We had a spa room, and the spa was huge, not just a tub with a few jets. Our host and his son were welcoming and laid out the history of the town and the b&b. Great breakfast spread as well. Just two restaurants atop the hill and only one was open midweek off-season, but the pasta was incredible and it was busy with Italian families and a soccer team. It’s a big local draw. This is a great taste of true Italy. Highly recommend. One tip: don’t trust your gps. Siri steered us up an adventurous back road. The main roads are fine, and well worth the journey.
Pros: Outstanding, attentive service from Pasquale. Couldn't ask for more. Even showed us around the town. Great breakfast, room was clean and spacious. We will return!
Pros: Beautiful location, cosy atmosphere, quite and clean. The owner is kind and gives you good piece of advice! I ll recommend it if you are in the area!
Pros: Nicest building of a pretty village on a dramatic location. Breakfast is clearly worth the extra
Pros: Nothing less than perfect. We loved our stay here. We stayed in the beautiful village of Montefusco for only one night and easily could have done several with the nearby wineries and restaurants. The host took amazing care of us and truly made this a weekend to remember. An example of the service you will get here: We arrived in the evening and wanted a bottle of the local red wine, and the B&B had just run out of their supply. Our host was able to get the keys to a wine shop across the street and let us purchase some out of hours. We had perfect restaurant recommendations as well. Overall no less than 10/10. Highly recommend visiting this amazing gem - it is worth the scenic journey, and then some.
Cons: Nothing. I wish we'd stayed longer.

Pros: Everything was just perfect for a one night stop on our way from Rome to Ostuni.
Pros: All about Angelo and his family.
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, in fact we were also offered eggs. Private parking was a bonus and the location was quiet even though it is on the main road through the village. We used the B&B as an overnight stopover on our way from Rome to Puglia, as it is only a few minutes drive from the motorway. It is also a good choice if you want to explore the local area.
Pros: Not only was it a great room and bed, but they also went out of their way to provide us with a vegan breakfast. Definitely recommended!
Pros: Spacious room and very clean. The host was very helpful with giving us advice on where to go and offering transport.
Pros: Artistic Relax was a perfect spot to break up our drive from Firenze to Puglia. It was just off the highway and easy to find. The young couple who run it were very pleasant and always ready to help. The facilities were amazingly clean and the music theme was executed with taste. The bathroom was lovely and modern and we appreciated the rain head shower which was huge. We were also appreciative of the kindness of the hosts who offered to make us an English breakfast and when we entered the dining room it was ready immediately. Breakfast was huge and we were so grateful for the amazing effort they made to cater for our needs. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
Pros: friendliness and hospitality of the host cleanliness and comfort good location for traveling, very close to the motorway
Pros: This was a perfect place to stop on our trip from Tuscany down to Lecce. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the room was very clean. We had a great stay! Grazie mille!
Pros: Spotless, inside parking, spacious room, nicely decorated. Complementary water and juices, coffee and tea. The owner is beyond nice. The place is pet-friendly. Recommended a visit to Taurasi, 8km away for wine tasting.

Pros: Hosts were extremely friendly and very helpful even though they did not speak English. Google Translate came in very handy.
Cons: A little off the beaten track: my husband was convinced we were lost before we got there!
Pros: Great hosts , confortable bed and great food. Air is wonderful on the hill !
Cons: Rooster gives morning wake-up at 5 am haha
Pros: spacious rooms lots of outside space helpful and friendly hosts
Cons: wifi unfortunately kept dipping,
Pros: This is one of the most unforgettable stays we’ve had in Italy, and indeed in any country. Antonio and Ester were truly wonderful hosts. Our room was large and very comfortable with a lovely terrace and a drop-dead view of vineyards, hills, and countryside. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. How we wish we could have stayed longer with such great people! For instance: when we asked where a nearby winery was, they took us. For instance: they served us a completely unexpected and fabulous dinner. For instance: when we had to head to the Naples airport Ester led us all the way to the autostrade so we wouldn’t make a wrong turn. There are many B&Bs in the world, but this one truly stands out.
Pros: Big and very clean bedrooms, beautiful landscape and very friendly and helpful owners.
Pros: Loved the proprietors and really enjoyed the other guests. We shared meals together which was wonderful and helped me feel at home. The surrounding beauty and natural landscape were stunning.
Pros: Love the couple who own and manage the property. They are angels. She cooked for me and made sure I felt well cared for. He drove me around the countryside looking at possible properties to purchase. Their home /B&B is very beautiful ~ perched gently on a small hillside in utopia. Bella!
Pros: Wonderful people, very friendly and treated me as family. Plus a very beautiful location.
Pros: The property was so serene and peaceful with panoramic views of vineyards and mountains. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy all of the pleasures of Italy.
With a stay at Bellavigna Country House in Montefalcione, you'll be 19.3 mi (31.1 km) from Arch of Trajan and 19.8 mi (31.9 km) from Sanctuary of Montevergine. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access and a computer station. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautiful gated property with parking, clean and nicely decorated rooms. Service was superb!
Pros: We stayed here for one night having traveled around Puglia and needing a place that wasn't too far from Naples airport. The hotel itself is a bit dated but did the job we required. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and they kindly opened up breakfast early for us as we needed to leave for our flight - Ida in general was incredibly helpful. There's not much going on in the surrounding area but the wine bar in the local town is nice enough (too far to walk). The pool is communal and had a nice vibe with the locals enjoying the good weather.
Cons: Hotel is just a bit dated but for the price it's kind of what you expect. The bedding needs upgrading as the main sheet was awful.
Pros: The grounds were beautiful!!! The accommodations were nice.
Pros: I liked everything. I really liked Ida, the woman who takes care of everything - including us guests! :) I liked my room - quite beautiful - and I really liked the breakfast; Ida even made me eggs by request! I liked walking in the area and enjoyed the layout of the BandB, its pool and vineyard. Really a top notch place!
Cons: The bed was a little hard, something I have often found in Italy. That's the only semi 'complaint' I have.
Pros: From start to finish made welcome and such a beautiful location and view, highly recommend
Cons: Room cleaned every day
Pros: The pool Nice and clean Welcoming
Cons: Small room
Pros: Friendly owner, beautiful view, nice swimming pool. You have to drive to nearby restaurants but in general the location and surroundings are beautiful with the mountains, wine and olive fields. It is a quiet, charming and peaceful place.
Cons: I think €100 per night for a small room without a balcony and an average breakfast (dry bread, no toppings like cheese and egg) is too much.
Pros: Beautiful scenery, great food, wonderful staff!
Pros: Beautifully maintained and excellent service
Pros: We booked in Montefalcione to visit family and Bellavigna Country House was a perfect place to stay. We had beautiful rooms and the property all to ourselves (end of season). The owner was so helpful and we loved our stay. The breakfast was amazing and they did not hold back (even though it was not full occupancy). We loved the property, views and all the rooms and courtyards to explore. The furnishings are top notch and we also were able to purchase wine on-site. You cannot walk to much - but that was not our intention so it was PERFECT! We can't wait to return and tell our our friends and family!
Cons: Barking dog next door - bring earplugs!

Pros: Fantastic host in Marcella - friendly, helpful, smiling and genuinely happy ! Awesome dinner with great food and wine Cosy / romantic atmosphere
Pros: Great breakfast with lots of choice and offered to cook scrambled egg each morning. A great touch to serve afternoon drinks and lovely cakes which were left in our room when we were out for the day.Well furnished and very clean rooms in lovely rural location but close enough to the town. Marcella the hostess could not have been more helpful and had no problems with our two dogs.

Pros: The location
Cons: The male staff member was so utterly miserable and lethargic. The swimming pool, which was the advertised draw had a hidden cost attached, which even visiting the website post stay isn't clearly visible in any small print, even if there is any. The lounge and bits if machinery lying around under a state of repair, giving a tatty, disorganised feel. The breakfast was an utter disgrace and not worthy of such a title. The staff were shouting at each other in the lounge area, causing a scandal. The hotel is still stuck in the 1960s, decrepid, disorganised, and disastrous. The building reminded me of the move "Suspiria" by Dario Argento. The life guard, although a nice young man was too interested in his smartphone and not observing the pool. I hate to leave a bad review and am robust enough to tolerate all standards of hotels. I'd feel guilty for not leaving a poor review knowing that some unwitting family might spend 80 euros on this outdate dive.
Pros: Good location excellent views
Pros: The staff was very helpful. If they don't answer the phone, just write a message through booking: we had some problems reaching them but they called almost immediately after they got our message.
