The daily room-rate was excellent Hotel was clean and staff were friendly The hotel is almost impossible to find, very poor signage, and new construction of roads around hotel complicates matters even worse
cleaning and service is not good .the hotel is difficult to find and its near the highway
very spacious room, comfortable, clean.
The rooms were large and clean, very helpful staff .
Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was modern and large, though the promised mini-bar was absent, we just asked for the water also promised but not present.
The reception staff were excellent and very helpful. Had a children's play area - good for small kids.
The garden is quite nice. It is all but impossible to find even with telephone directions from hotel staff and a GPS navigator. It has all the architectural barriers you have ever thought of plus one or two you had never imagined. At the time of my stay it was only half built (April 2007); the ground floor of one building had no walls or fittings and electrical cables trailed across the road between the two main room blocks. The buildings themselves are poorly built and not well maintained: rusting steelwork, crumbling masonry and peeling paint are salient characteristics. I note that another visitor from Italy was dissatisfied with the location. I do not agree with other travellers who commented favourably.
The room was large and very clean, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, The breakfast was hot , and a very good buffet. Will certainly stay there again.
Staff were helpful Vert difficult to find, breakfast and dinner at the hotel ordinary
The spaciousness of our room and its modern, comfortable and well-equipped nature. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff and excellent maintenance of our room Ease of travel within Asturias from its strategic siting near the meeting of so many main roads. In spite of the latter, the hotel seemed to be miles away from anywhere in the middle of countryside.
Central location, comfort in rooms Difficult to find. Driving directions shall be improved.
The room was great, simple and tastefully decorated. The hotel located in a nice neighbourhood, where you can take a nice stroll. It has a gym (free of charge for hotel guests) and a spa (that I didn’t try). The restaurant is great and the cook prepared a soup although it was not on the menu. Breakfast was simple but nice… The staff at the desk could be a bit nicer. The machines in the gym could be more modern.
Hotel desing no windows in the breakfast room
Breakfast! It was excellent. It is a very nice place, but not very convenient as a base for exploring.
The hotel was very well located in the countryside so it was quiet. The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff very helpful. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.
Central location. Friendly staff.
The atmosphere of the building and furnishings Only that there wasn't a lift
That it was a typical Spanish hotel with very friendly and efficient staff and well situated.
Good Location, Clean and Tidy.
A hotel with character. The hotel is situated in the town square very near to an Irish pub and a night club. Each night we were kept awake for hours (until daylight) by music, shouting and glass breaking.
Not a lot There was no breakfast available despite you quoting prices. Old furniture with damaged mirrors
The owner is very engaging and helpful. We like the central location. Too hot in night but we may have forgotten to turn off radiators
Goog location anf frendly staff. Hotel is situated in the center of nice little town. Remember to ask parking!
The hotel is a fantastic example of an old country mansion complete with antiques. Although a very old building all amenities are up to date. The restaurant is excellent and there is really no alternative choice unless driving a fair distance.
Beautiful location, pleasant and helpful staff, good food. The interior design is a bit dated almost to the point of being creepy. Very strange design sense indeed.
We enjoy our 2 nights stay in Palacio de Cutre. The rooms are very nice decorated, the staff was friendly and helpfull. It is an elegant place, a real hidden gem. The restaurant was very good, an A+ for the Chef. From this location we visit Canga de Onis, Cudillero and Aquillera Beach.
Amazing location in the middle of the Asturian hills, beautiful building with all modern confort. Would highly recommend this hotel for relaxing a few days away from the city. Breakfast could be improved to match the rest of the services offered.
The setting was lovely and the hotel was very nice. The food in the restaurant was OK but expensive for the qulity.
location, friendly staff, quality food, clean air, sound of cow bells, availabilty of walks directly from hotel the difficult drive from the main road but that is not the hotel´s fault!
Similar to staying with friends. Hotel staff very obliging and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Beautiful peaceful situation buried in the countryside. Perfect for those wanting to get away from it all with some luxury thrown in. We were rather surprised by the amount of outside lighting left on all through the night. Difficult to stop the light coming in at night, a bit light city lighting. Not very echo- and disturbing when trying to sleep. Other than that - a perfect stay. Also it accepts dogs. However in your brief on the hotel it does not specify the cost for dogs, rather it indicates that one might or might not pay. In the event I was charged 25 euros a day, which I thought excessive and queried it. The owner agreed to halve the charge.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was very, very quiet with stunning views of the Picos de Europa. It's very difficult to find - they need more signs from the nearest main road.
Great location, beautiful hotel The restaurant was closed (which we were given no warning about) and there are no restaurants in close proximity
Excellent value for money, evening meal was 1st class, stunning location and the freindly staff completed our stay. Bedrooms with vaulted ceiling, although looked fantastic the height restriction was a back breaker!
We stayed one night (30 July) on our way across to Galicia, but would have booked additional nights after our experience. The property has been fitted to an excellent standard and the set menu was good value for money. a pity the restaurant appeared to be under utilised by the guests. Breakfast was plentiful. Our bedroom was on the top floor with a sloping and beamed ceiling, so care was needed to avoid banging our heads. Wonderful views can be had from the skylights with the sound of cowbells ringing from the hill farm on the other side of the golf course. No air conditioning, but the skylights were adequate to cool the room. The hotel is in a secluded area so you would need to travel some way if you wanted to eat out. You need to watch out for the signs to find the hotel although the gps proved useful.
It is a verry peacefull hotel, rooms are nicly decorated, diner was good, breakfast is a buffet. Great view from the terrace on the mountains and golfcorse. The best hotel we stayed in during our trip. No view from your room and no airconditioning. During the night you don't need a/c but during the day it would be nice.
