Plenty of parking Lost my reservation, cigerette ashes on pillow cases, needle lid on floor, as well as more ashes and sunflower seeds. This was marked a smoke free room. Reserved a down stairs room, was given an upstairs room. A lady of the night was conducting her business next door. Broken glass littered the parking lot. Several intoxicated people riddled the area. You dont even need proof of identification or what room you're in to get a key. Lobby smelled of urine. Continental breakfast was toast, cereal, milk, and orange juice.
Facility was dirty and short staffed.
Price. The stairs are loose and dangerous. Someone else's panties left in the room from previous guest. Remote Control doesn't work, even with new batteries Front Desk staff rude and disrespectful.
It was the worst hotel experience of my life. It was literally the worst experience I've ever had at at hotel. I will never ever stay at this location, and I will be more cautious about looking for hotels on kayak.com. I was locked out of my room for an entire night, and was promised to be let in to gather my belongings when the manager would bring a master key at 8:00am. The manager arrived with the key two hours late "due to traffic" that was non-existent and when the worker tried to open the door it didn't work. Over an hour later, a maintenance worker arrived and pulled out the AC unit and crawled through to retrieve my belongings. The room next to ours had the metal door completely smashed in and there was caution tape everywhere. The worker said it had been the site of a domestic violence incident. The blinds were completely open and we could see severe property damage and evidence of violence on the inside. It looked like a set from Breaking Bad. The room we stayed in was completely disgusting and we documented all of this with photographs.
The staff at ne check in was cordial when I checked in. After going to my room I left the site to tend to business app. On my way out i had to inform the checked in counter that there was only a wash cloth and hand towel, the refer was not working and the telephone did not work. Reading 8ther reviews, the towel are no surprise, but a telephone is useless if you can call the front desk or outside in case of any emergency. I got the towels. This motel/hotel had probably been a nice place at one time, but those days have passed. Lots of resident living. Not the best location if you have a family or a single person traveling by yourself. Spend a little more and feel safe. Unfortunately I thought I could handle a discounted hotel, but there is no excuse for not repairing or taking out items that do not function. The place had walls And doors that had been kicked in or punched. The carpet had large stains. The staff tried there best but it dint help.
This place is horrible. Blood splatter on wall, door had been kicked in, filthy, drunkards fighting next door, previously on fire. I got my money back. Seriously stay away.
The price. And location to Old Town Roseville. It was an OK place to stay with my brother, for one night as we went to a concert nearby and had some drinks This is the kind of place I wouldn't mind staying in as a young 20 something year old. If I checked in with my wife, we would have checked out and gone elsewhere. Looked like it also had long term residents living there as well.
there was only 2 bath towels in a room. i called staff to bring us more towels, they did not even show up. they don't have good internet connection at all. it was so getto. seems like honeless are hanging out around there.
Absoultey Nothing and waiting for my money to be returned to my account. This place is surrounded by drug users and it is filthy!!! I would not let me dog stay in that room. This place needs to totally reinvent itself for I would never recommend to others. Thank You
I liked how close it was to where I live There were NO towels, washcloths or bath mats. Also, when I stdyed there the cops were raiding the motel and had the streets blocked off. I feel I should have been compensated for the unconvinced!

The hotel was clean as a whistle, the bed very comfortable and everything worked great. The breakfast selections were varied and good too. Great stay.
Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and smelled fresh. Accommodates dogs and has a grass area with pick-up bags and seating. During my stay the roof was being repaired and the noise started at 8am. Would have liked it quiet for a couple more hours.
The motel was near where I needed to visit. The breakfast was good. Staff helpful. It was clean. There was no microwave or sm. Refrigerator. I thought that came with all Best Western motels.
The room was very clean and comfortable.
Close to our golf venues...parking in front of door, easy access in & out Ice machine should be in eating/lobby area..
Comfortable bed which is important to us. Nice room for the money.
Much nicer than the other places I've stayed in Auburn. If only the price were this competitive all the time.

Clean place with a nice breakfast. The staff was really nice. The noise from the freeway seem to be very noisy. I attribute this to the gap on the doors. I think that if some weather stripping were placed there, it would cut the outside noise in half.

Close to rafting site. I could not leave my cabin luggage behind for a couple of hours.
friendly staff, clean room. NO coffee machines in room
Ceiling in room looked freshly painted Smelled everywhere! Comforter had oil type stains. Shower nasty, bed hard.
The lobby was very nice. Also coffee available Not liking is a complaint so here it is The train and not having someone at the desk for check in
The place is listed as 2 Stars, but since I knew it was recently remodeled (Summer 2013), I considered the rate I paid a great bargain. In the middle of the night there was yelling, threats of violence, slamming doors, and eventually police activity that involved police dogs pursuing suspects. How the guests behave are beyond Motel 6's control, but no effort was made to let the guests know that the threat had passed. It took a while to settle down and get back to sleep after all that commotion. In the morning, the young desk attendant wasn't prepared to address the overnight issue with departing guests. There were uncomfortable moments and awkward silences when I inquired about the frequency of such events.
Reasonable price. Staff, rooms, facilities, beds, towels, and linens were all terrible. Would not recommend coming here.
Hotel was close to the freeway. Rooms were updated. Starbucks and Denny's across the street. Mold growing on the ceiling in bathroom. Phone did not work. Cousins room was missing their smoke detector.
Very nice mattress. Nicest Motel 6 I've stayed at (and I've stayed in at least a dozen). Very convenient to freeway, groceries and fast food, but secluded and quiet. Good place to stay on the way to Tahoe, etc.
In short price was cheap for my visit to Fast Fridays Speedway in Auburn the purpose of my visit. Oldtown Auburn clearly has some oldy worldy charm also, though only saw briefly due to lack of time in Auburn. Auburn Alehouse has some nice microbrews. As I came in on Amtrak had no car, you clearly need a car to stay here, only stayed the night but I could not see that you could walk anywhere significant from hotel, you could cross at top of road to come back down to Dennys but not a lot else. Can only recommend if visit combined with a car. This is a motel in every sense of the word.
Good value Great location Friendly Staff
Room was cold, noisy, smelled like urine.
A simple budget hotel, but good value. I was pleasantly surprised by the room itself - crown molding, nice television, convenient to town. And clean! The staff was very friendly - really for what I wanted, it couldn't have been better. Hey, it's no JW, but it certainly serves the needs at a great price! I would stay there again. No electronic lock - not much of a negative there though. Coffee maker didn't work, and I forgot to tell the management, so if you happen to stay in room 18 - fair warning!
Reservation through has disclaimer it is non-refundable. I requested a ground floor room through Kayak, called National 9 on the morning of reservation date to notify I would be checking in late and confirm reservation. I was told I would have a ground floor the first night but not the second. When I arrived all ground floor rooms were full so I had to take a second floor. Was offered a ground floor second night and staff woul move luggage down. Needs better communication through Kayak and staff.
I new it was an older hotel so had some reservations before arriving, but the folks there have done a very nice job of keeping it up new paint new carpets comfortable bed flat screen tv a little road noise but ok. No amenitys just a good place to lay your head at the end of a long day.
The hotel is next to highway so commute was very convenient. I booked for a room with two Queen side beds and I did get it -- only problem was that the room was not cleaned. We had to swap for another room with two double beds. The new room was cleaned for sure, but the general condition was not beat down. There was a microwave and a small refrig which made noise all night. The breakfast was minimal. My kids got one yogurt. All in all this is an 1-star experience.
Great location, very clean.
They will charge you extra money for your pets even though it is not listed on the kayak site anywhere on the return email they send you or on their personal Hotel website they are thieves they robbed me and I will continue to demean their name until they give me my money back
Easy parking, quiet corner room, had a table and 2 chairs. Airconditioning was directed right on the bed. Only 2 pillows on a kingsize bed. Noise from freeway.
Water for the showers never got hot!
Great value for the money. It looked old but it has been upgraded to serve the budget traveler. There is wifi, extra outlets, refrigerator, coffee maker, adequate TV, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, nice pool. I wouldn't send a friend who thinks resort. I send anyone who wants a budget stay on the way through Placerville. It was right next to Hwy 50 but our room was quiet.
There was nothing we liked about the motel. It was dirty, sleazy, noisy, uncomfortable, smelled of smoke, the pool was ice cold.
Nice heater, easy parking, good location. Wifi didn't work, stains on blankets.
I had to go out & buy hangers for my clothes. There was no closet, so I had to hang my clothes on the shower curtain rod.
Just an hour away from Tahoe Room was freezing cold but heater warmed up in no time.
They gave us a choice of two rooms The owner was very nice The room was ok next to the office Not many guest's The gap under the door very cold draft Freeway noise all night and the noise from the ice machine.had to close the bathroom door due to the cold.they were in the middle of renovations
Room had enough towels and microwave/refrigerator The motel staff needs to screen their guests better. Alot of undesirable guests up all night drinking and making more noise inside and out of their rooms. Guest in room above me stomped around their room all damn night and I didnt sleep well. Reception didnt care either
They refunded one day because we left one day early. Nails sticking out all over the room. Many holes in the walls. Air conditioning didn't work. We had to move to a different room for the second night.. There was a big dog barking and someone above our room was jumping up and down for over four hours. We had to move to one small bed instead of two.
