We had a lovely room overlooking the water. There was a nice sitting area for just kicking back. The location was very good. Staff was very nice and helpful!
The location was great, and price was good
The dog barking ALL NIGHT LONG. It was in the balcony in the next building. Also could hear people in the hallways, no sound proofing. The bathroom sink was leaking and had a garbage underneath it to collect the dripping water. The lobby smelled wet and humid as the floor was being mopped all evening- maybe change the mop water? Or mop once instead of every 5 minutes. A stand up shower would of been nice, hard to wash your hair having to hold on to the shower head. The jacuzzi tub was missing jet inserts I would not stay there again :(
Nice location and area, near to port.
washrooms could be bigger , and view from side room balconies.
Balcony with seaview across the street. Hotel is on the bus route making it convenient.
Facility is old and jaded, not at all as photos would indicate. Staff unfriendly (seem to think they are doing you a favour). Dusty under bed, leaking shower dripped constantly, soaking the floor since the shower door was broken and missing. Aircon would not work on remote and is also broken. No tea/coffee facility in room. Had to ask for hairdryer. Breakfast offering leaves a lot to be desired. No information leaflet in room, broken toilet seat and the list goes on.
Cute family-run hotel on the coast. It is some distance away from the ferry port but within easy reach by bus (904) or taxi. Rooms are large, and so are the bathrooms. The view of the sea and the ships sailing in and out of the port are fantastic. Big breakfast served in the mornings. Plenty of good dining options covering all price ranges available just outside. There is also a good supermarket about two minutes walk away, and a bakery in the next street. Overall the hotel is well maintained, very comfortable and nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. It makes a nice alternative to the often lacklustre hotels in the grotty streets close to the ferry port.
