Friendly staff, clean room Carpets worn, elevator needs work,
Nothing Smelled horrible
The building is in disrepair. I had wall paper pealing throughout the room, water damage that was not taken care of as mold growing on the ceiling as a result. People who would smoke outside, their smoke would ventilate into the room.
the hallways on the 2nd level were very hot - the road sign was covered by tree limbs - very hard to see even on the other side of the expressway. i was charged for 4 adults when i only had 2 adults and 2 children ages 5 and 3. when asked about this they said that they would not have charged that but would do nothing about it. i did not notice this charge until i was checking into the hotel. maybe you can do something about this charge?
there were ants in the hotel room, on the soap on the t.v the wifi wasn't working 90 percent of the time. very dark and gloomy hotel.
Rooms very clean and even through a renovation process they have done a great job of meeting all of our needs!
staff very good VERY VERY DIRTY IN FRONT ENTRANCE THE HALLWAY VERY DARK LOOKING. NEED TO BE BRIGHTS NO MICOWAVE
Clean room. room smelled nice. Hallways were dark and gloomy. Internet access was spotty. in room on bed good. in chair next to it almost nothing. Seen people on computers sitting in hallway.
The place was nearly empty...which is also a little creepy. The guy at the front desk was friendly and efficient. It's easy to tell this was formerly a smokers hotel. Due to my back issues, I had to sleep on the floor. When I woke up I felt like I'd spent the night at a nightclub that was full of smokers. My sinuses burned and my sense of smell was out of whack for a couple days after. There were a handful of trash cans in the lobby catching leaks while it was raining. The WiFi was strong but didn't take traffic the whole time we were there.
Definitely worth it to upgrade the breakfast for $4.95. Very good! The room had a bit of a musty smell, the AC unit was loud, it was right by the highway so I could hear the cars driving by.
While the beds and the bathroom were clean, the carpets were old and dirty. Some sort of headache-inducing deodorizer had been sprayed in the room. The corridors were dirty and dimly lit. The airconditioner made more noise than a diesel engine. There was no Wi-Fi (I was told that they were changing providers, and that I could try to "steal" a connection to a neighboring hotel's network).
