Staff very helpful and hard working. Nothing too much trouble. A lift would help.
Friendly efficient staff No lift
We had a comfortable night but arrived late and left quite early.The staff were very helpful;
Despite its somewhat off-putting location at the edge of a shopping center parking lot next to a stagnant canal, this hotel is basic but clean, safe, and comfortable. Free, safe parking at the door, wireless internet connection worked well. Several good restaurants within walking distance in this beautiful, flower-filled little town. No lift, which might be a problem if you have much luggage.
it was convenient to Redon and the music festival the decor could be improved ie. carpet on the walls!!
Very pleasant staff at reception. Room left something to be desired.
yes... we needed to go back to our room mid morning to pick up some paperwork we had left in the room..when we got there the cleaners had cleaned our room and propped the door open with a coil of cable and left it....there were no cleaners to be found on our floor .so our possessions were left unattended with an open door
Everything from the initial impressions on arrival through to the wonderful meals. We enjoyed taking walks on the grounds and swimming in the indoor pool. All the staff in both the hotel and restaurant were extremely helpful and made us very welcome. If only we could afford to return every year.
Great quality and service staff friendly and helpful
Friendly staff and very nice dinner. Good with the kids aged 8 and 13 No stationery/pens/pencils/ in the rooms
The hotel we stayed at was lovely, friendly hosts, clean rooms - lovely new swimming pool and a peaceful lake to walk around. Close to Saumur which is a lovely area and plenty to see in this area. Maybe have tea/coffee facilites would be nice but other than that I would recommend it.
The food. It's next door to the Nantes/Rennes road, which wouldn't be much fun for a week's holiday. Fortunately we were there for one night. There was a large cordoned off hole in the lawn just outside our room. Not pretty!
We arrived at the hotel 1.30am was nobody inside but short notice was left for us how to get in. The swimming pool had a green water.
When en route to chanel ports excellent gourmet stop off Breakfast needs improvement
Restaurant was good quality but quite expensive. Very close to Route National and not as well situated as web site suggested. Facilities in room a bit basic for the price.
We arrived at St Malo on the ferry bound for the Royan so locationwise it was ideal. A few miles before the confusing Nantes ring-road. Just by the N137. The family room was very spacious. Tthe restaurant menu was not ideal for families with young children (A La Carte), however I guessed this before booking so it was not a big deal.
The garden and pool area. Also very good restaurant. We did not have air conditioning in our room.
Comfort ~ great, facilities ~ great, food (dinner) ~ superb, breafast ~ excellent Nothing we didn't like .. we were 'stopping over' en route further south in France .. our cars were full of luggage etc. A garage or secure compound to enable us to leave the cars packed overnight would have been excellent and worth an additional charge.
The restaurant was a bit dated and the food was expensive and not very exciting.
Family room was great with double deck bed for kids and alots of pîctures and paintings of Warber Bros cartoon heroes inside the large and spacious bedroom
For a small hotel conveniently situated near to the railway station, the asian-influenced decor of the rooms that we were allocated was quite unexpected and memorable (in a nice way!)
The cleanliness and comfort of the hotel was excellent, the breakfast was also very good and the staff friendly and helpful.
Comfortably recently refurbished hotel - very helpful and friendly staff despite our lack of french. They happily served us breakfast in the bar an hour after the dining rooms had finished serving breakfast!
Central location to village and the fact that there was a medieval fete on in the village whilst we were there. Evening meal was very good indeed, with french families coming to the hotel to eat for 'special occasions' which suggested it has a good reputation in the area.
the front of the hotel looked average but on entering it was lovely well decorated and the rooms were so clean the food was great too.
For a small hotel in a small French village the accommodation was superb. The restaurant was excellent providing nouveau cuisine which for one night's stay was first class and very enjoyable. I would not want to eat there more than once during a visit. Everything was first class with very friendly staff.
Good reception from "le Patron", superb room, good breakfast. None
Have stayed before and found it to be extremely comfortable and clean
The room was adequate with a great view of the town square and church and the hotel setting was rather peaceful. The type of food in the restaurant.
the service was very good, but the food in the restaurant a bit expensive for what it was
