Pros: Very nice host who made you feel very welcome. The house is very authentc outside and inside very delicately designed. We will absolutely come back
Pros: The terrace, the room, the breakfast, the countryside all around the place. Everything was very nice.
Pros: Warm fire when we arrived, very hospital people, relaxing music, fantastic suite.
Pros: lovely house, nice people, and well located. the room was pretty, comfortable and clean. we had a nice breackfast.
Cons: we had a cold shower, likely someone who emptied the water tank.
Pros: The hosts were warm and welcoming, super kind. The place was spotless and the views were calming and peaceful. Very much enjoyed the rest.
Cons: I liked everything except the top floor bath set-up. People with limited mobility or knee issues find getting up and down somewhat problematic. But it is very lovely to look at.
Pros: Countryside, friendly and very accommodating hosts, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, cozy fireplace in the den/breakfast room, close to Aachen and Eupen.
Pros: Everything! Beautiful house in a quiet neighbourhood, the room is big and clean, stunning view, good breakfast, very friendly owners, beautiful walk in the area,...
Pros: Breakfast was really good, homemade jams were especially tasty, room was really big and bed very comfy but the best thing was the hosts, they were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. They made our stay memorable.Vi.
Cons: One minor thing: we would have liked a tv in the room however, we managed ok with our laptop so wasn’t a big issue for us
Pros: The accommodation was amazing! A cottage in the country with a Grand Designs style box. First class room and breakfast. We used it for a Formula 1 weekend, 30 miles from the racetrack with beautiful views. Quiet. After the race, the owners cooked us a meal! Fabulous. We would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Everything looks brand new, very clean rooms, very nice building. Very quit environment, stunning views. And top of the bill: breakfast. It's quite exceptional to find this level of quality and diversity. Fresh bread, a selection of regional cheeses, jam, fresh fruit. Without doubt one of the best places I've been.
Pros: everything was wonderful, the owner very much, the environment and the house, the bathroom is wonderful, the breakfast is very tasty and abundant, the internet is great, it is highly recommended for everyone traveling
Pros: Everything was perfect. The host waited for us because we come late in the night. Morning was amazing with breakfast everything more than good.
Cons: Don't have what to don't like More than perfect
Pros: Anne-Marie is a very nice host and was very welcoming. She speaks 4 languages and is happy to help you with anything. The room is comfortable and clean. The location is quite remote but all the interesting cities and land marks are close-by: Eupen, Aachen, Monschau, Wesertalsperre, Three-country point. Eifel natur park, ...
Pros: We were offered a good choice of menu for dinner, by e-mail whilst en route, which we viewed and chose. A terrific bonus, given the delays on the roads due to construction. We were able to choose for both our nights stays. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. Absence of a TV was not a problem!
Pros: very nice breakfast and very friendly host. Comfortable beds and nice surroundings.
Pros: It's a marvelous place, owned by fantastic people trying to preserve the ancient building. The inside design is thought to every detail as a 5 star modern property. The scent, the porcelain, all of the furniture is of exciting quality. Breakfast was very nutritious and beautifully served. It was a pleasant escape for me and my husband. Thank you!
Pros: We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful modern oasis. The whole house is sleek and full of interesting modern art. Our rooms were pretty large and had iPads to control the lights, but more importantly the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and much better than at an average hotel. They even accommodated when we asked for to go breakfast when we had to leave early in the mornings for work. The crowning jewel was how kind and accomodating the host and his daughter were to us. Many thanks to Hélène and Marc at Opus35!
Pros: The room was just as beautiful what I expected, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed and outstanding shower. Overall it was one of the most stylish room I ever stayed at. The breakfast was incredible and nicely served. I would recommend this place.

Pros: Nice staff with a nice venue. Room was big enough for us, with cozy heating and with a large bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast was amazingly delicious and more than enough for everyone.
Pros: Cozy. Great breakfast. Friendly owner.
Cons: Owner only spoke French
Pros: Very clean and tidy. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast. The location is great and the owner is super friendly
Cons: Checking in was a bit difficult as we couldn’t find the reception and the owner only speaks French
Pros: Lovely hosts and facility. The only reason I did excellent what is that the shower leaked a bit, but not enough to be a problem! The hosts were wonderfully helpful, despite my poor French. The food was a simple continental breakfast, but delicious. Location is lovely, but note that you need You need a car or a bicycle to go anywhere, even into the small town. There was a trail we could run or hike on at the bortom of the driveway. Comfortable bed, too.
Pros: The location is only good if you have a car, as we did had a car it was easy for us to travel. Netherlands and Germany within 10 minutes reach so we ate dinner and lunch there. The breakfast was very tasty the owner checked if we had any allergies or something we didn't like.
Cons: If you don't have a car you cannot stay there. The room lacked a bit of furniture like nightstand next to the bed, or a table to eat on it was really missing.
Pros: The owners were friendly and very helpful. Excellent breakfast
Cons: The chalet was lovely but more like a spa than a bedroom. Nowhere to sit comfortably, other than on the bed. Lighting was dim.
Pros: Very nice, clean room with a sauna (we did not use). Comfortable beds, modern interior and high quality equipment. The staff was very friendly and took care of all our requests, like check-in on our preferred time. Breakfast served for two, enough choice and good quality food.

Cons: Access to room using access codes is complicated. Because of boiler problem, water in room was not hot.
Pros: Acess to the local pool, very friendly staff Good breakfast
Cons: The door system with code makes you have to keep the code close ...
Pros: Sfaff was very friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to assist you. When checking in the young lady explained everything we needed to know, which was a great help.
Cons: There is no AC in the rooms, and this summer is hot , shower gel and shampoo are provided only once for a 4 nights stay in a family room !!

Pros: the silence! friendly people, and correct prices
Pros: First of all the apartment was better than it showed in the pictures (this is something that the owner has to change) and it has two bedrooms although in booking.com was obvious that it will be only one room with two single beds (and we assumed that there would be a folding couch). Instead of this there were 4 single beds. The hotel is located on the boarders between Belgium and Nederland in a very quiet location with small farms around it. It was clean and neat. In a very small distance (1.4km) there are bars and restaurants where you can eat delicious Belgian specialties.
Cons: Wifi is not quite good. There were so many doors but no signal of the reception desk.
Pros: Very nice and hospitable owners! Excellent location for trekking, mountain biking, cycling.
Pros: Friendly reception, spacious apartment: sitting area+kitchen; bedroom. Nice view. Good bed, bath room with bath--clean

It's biker friendly, welcoming and has a great atmosphere in the restaurant/bar area. The meals were lovely, very tasty. The staff are efficient and friendly. The room was spacious with a large toilet shower room. I'd happily use this hotel again in the future and I look forward to my next stay.
Cons: I could not find any faults with the hotel.
Pros: Splendid hotel, I found the Price/Quality very much in balance. I will return again to this hotel. Very good restaurant and friendly Staff. Very personal service. I like this place very much!

Pros: There was a very good breakfast. The owners tried hard to make the hotel individual.
Cons: Everything was fine except the weather.
Pros: Location, Food, staff
Cons: If any (not): Kitchen closes at 8 pm (bit too Early after a dayride) | breakfast starts at 7.30 am (too late for a dayride)
Pros: Friendly personnel. Excellent wines (try the Chateuneuf du Pape half bottle) and Belgian Beers. Good breakfast. Nicely situated next to the famous inn Moeder de Gans (17th century style inn). Good value for money
Cons: Nothing really to report.
Pros: Cosy very friendly and welcoming great food they are working very hard to improve the hotel what they have done so far is very good
Cons: The bathrooms and bedrooms are a bit tired
Pros: Owners are really welcoming and put in a lot to make the stay enjoyable. It is a 2 star hotel, but the experience felt definitely like more. Nice area to spend the day walking and bicycling. Diner on the terrasse and breakfast inside were both really enjoyable.
Located in Plombieres, Golf Hotel Mergelhof is in a rural location, a 1-minute drive from Mergelhof Golf Club and 7 minutes from Municipal Administration of Plombières. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We were surprised to see the views over the hills from the terrace. The location is very nice even for non golf players. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Staff was very welcoming. Bathroom was small and bit outdated but all was clean and working very well.
Cons: Name of hotel not clearly signposted at the exit. Lot of noise from the corridor. Small room.
Pros: Quite nice hotel with very friendly personal. The hotel is surrounded by golf fields and the nature around is very beautiful. Our room was smaller then expected but there was everything we needed for comfortable staying. Including a kettle which was very useful. The view from our room was perfect but because windows were small and high situated we could not enjoy it completely.
Pros: The view is very nice, also from my room. It seems to be a great place for golfers.
Cons: Breakfast was in a stuffy, little room, with no view at all and was pretty bland, little choice. The room was very basic, a bit rundown, definitely not modern.
Pros: Nice breakfasts.Great golf course.
Cons: Do not disturb option for door as staff entered room without knocking.More choice on menu.More shampoo for room.
Pros: The location.
Cons: I booked 2 double rooms for 2 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 5. Both rooms had only one single bed made, the second one without bed sheets, duvet and pillow. Also, the TV did not work. When I complained, all I received was a shoulder shrug.
Pros: Nice view
Cons: No wifi in the breakfast room and in our bedroom too. Only in the restaurant
Pros: Big enough room with heating (it was 0 degrees when I arrived). Great breakfast. Kind and helpful staff (some persons don't speak French, though, which was a surprise for me in Belgium...). The hotel is located by a golf course, in a beautiful landscape.
Cons: Parking places are a bit far from the hotel itself (they are shared with the golf course). And even though I asked for a very calm room (and was answered with a "bien sur"), I got one which was by the men's changing room, at the beginning of a first floor corridor, and by the breakfast room, which meant that everyone passed my door, and in the morning I could hear staff preparing breakfast etc. Fortunately the noise had not begun at 6 a.m., so I slept long enough not to be tired the next day, but it seemed a bit weird even so. Wi-fi does not work well in the hotel area, it's much better in the restaurant.

Pros: We received an email a few nights before that the restaurant was fully booked by a group the night we would stay. When I called and explained we were hiking to the location, they made room for us and we were able to eat the set menu selected by the group. It was beautifully presented and delicious. We were very happy they could accommodate us this way.
Pros: Beautiful large rooms, large bath, restaurant on spot, nice breakfast, nice location
Cons: The sink in our room was blocked and the water flooded in the room. The lady unclogged it with a product, but the problem should be solved in a more permanent way. Since the restaurant closes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, there was no breakfast on Tuesday.
Pros: Breakfast was fine. Location is very good. Parking facilities are very good. Staff is excellent.
Cons: Open bath
Pros: In a beautiful setting. Well kept inside and out. Super restaurant too. Very friendly
Cons: Nothing not to like
Pros: Location, welcome, accomodation of motorcycle parking, clean room, great bathroom, lovely food, pleasent surroundings.
Cons: I could not find fault at all. Very happy to have stayed here.
Pros: Beautiful location.nice room.
Cons: Pressure to buy breakfast
Pros: The accommodation is at the 2nd floor of brasserie within the nicest rural area. It’s perfect to stay there, if one is traveling by car. Dinner in brasserie could be also recommended.
Cons: What a poor experience. No one there at all to greet us for our stay in the hotel at 15:00 Very rude man offered no apologies for this. Whole place empty and felt very concerned about staying in a remote area just the two of us in this empty place.

Pros: Very cosy and nice.
Cons: It's a bit too noisy. If you want to sleep until late, forget about it.
Pros: Very nice house in the centre of the lovely Teuven with lots of very enjoyable cafés and restaurants. The house has a pretty terrace and garden to enjoy the sun. Our room for four was enormously spacious and clean. Nice livingroom to sit and read a book. Perfect place to enjoy nature.
Cons: Such a shame the kitchen is so very well equipped but not used for serving an excellent breakfast. We already read these comments in advance and decided to bring our own breakfast witch we ate in the garden and was very nice. It was not specifically mentioned you could prepare your own breakfast and we didn't dare to use the unused cooking equipment. Everybody else had served breakfast. We were able to put our stuff in the refrigerator. If a proper and hot breakfast would have been served or some granola with yogurt and fresh juice, we would have loved to pay for it. The way it is served now, is not worth the price. We hope the management will consider serving a breakfast that meets up with the quality of the house and we will gladly return!
