excellent parking arrangements for our motorobikes, the hotel was quiet ensuring a good night's sleep and good breakfasts
Everything. Friendly staff, excellent breakfasts, clean and comfortable room. Very quiet. For my purpose, it was ideal. No complaints.
facility for safekeeping of our bicycles.2 minutes from Hotel de Ville and petite marche restaurant which was lovely as was Moen Thai restaurant and the greek one in the side street. we were refused a drink at 2245 despite the fact that closing was 2300 and a member of staff was on duty.
The hotel was astop off point on our way home to UK.It was easy to find and very relaxed-breakfast was included which made a pleasant change. Staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel clean and quiet.
Location near the city of Vannes. The towels in the bathroom.
Everything! The signage still listed the old hotel. We were walking from the train station and the temporary sign was on the other side of the building. Thankfully somebody came out because it looked like we were looking for this hotel and informed us it was the correct one!
close proximity to town centre. easy walking distance to all amenities having to pay for parking access to parking...
The staffs are friendly and helpful, and the environment is comfort and clean, and the breakfast is quite good too. The hotel is not easy to locate, especially the name showing outside the hotel is a bit confused (it seems there is another hotel in the same location). Except this, some of the stuffs (i.e. towels and etc) in the rooms seemed insufficient - only provided 1 set instead of 2 sets in a twwin room.
All staff were exceptionally helpful and spoke good English. The dining room provided good value meals of high quality,
proximity to the old town
The staff welcomed us and helped us with anything we wished. The hotel was so ideal we stayed a second night.
The people were absolutely very friendly The room was so small that we could not stay there for 7 days, which we booked so we left the next day. A lot of money for a very small room .The balcony too and there was wood in front so you could not see through it. Awful. It also was a long way from the center and there was not a restaurant, cafe, bar or terrace in the neighbourhood.
the location, staff courtesy, facilities rooms too cramprd for comfort; inadequate storage space for 4+days stay
Nice small modern hotel. Great pool-area and SPA. Very close to Beach. Nice rooms. Good free safe garage in hotel. Some problem to communicate in English. A little too far from other restaurants/cafes and village-center.
A modern, well designed hotel, beautifully appointed with family friendly management but somehow 'lacked a soul'. The expensive breakfast and lack of a central bar possibly contributed to this.
Functional and minimalist Very poor reception on arrival No attempt whatever to make welcome or offer drinks or somewhere to wait until our room was ready. Thereafter service was satisfactory
The Hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were welcoming and ever-helpful. The design is modern and attractive with the theme carrried through consistently to every last detail. The pool. sauna and steam rooms were excellent. The TV in our room was better than any other hotel I have stayed in recently. I also liked the free Internet access. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and woukd use this hote again. I think the mainconcern that guests may have is with the cost of breakfast which was 18 euros per person. There was plenty of choice and the quality was good. I can only observe that the cost was typical for the locality and was not the most expensive. However, I would have liked a lower cost.
I was clean, modern, comfortable with a nice pool, excellent showers and very quiet, within easy reach of lorient airport for air travellers. It was expensive, 140 euro for a double room, not in high season and breakfast not included (this was 20 euro extra, per person for continental breakfast!)
The rooms were excellent. The breakfast as well, but very pricy.
staff were very friendly and the pool was excellent. great location. the room was very small with a loft bedroom with very steep stairs
Location and the hotel facilities were both excellent. Although perfectly adequate for 2 nights, the room was rather small. This may be because I requested a double bed instead of 2 x singles. However, in my experiecnce, it is not unusual to be given the smaller/noisier/older/shabbier rooms when paying a discounted price through an agency rather than booking direct with the hotel & paying the rack rate.
the swimming pool was very good
Kids loved the pool and the breakfast buffet. The staff were excellent and very helpful, and the hotel was in close proximity to both the beach and restaurants/shopping.
Staff at reception, walking distance to main area and beach, easy parking, good shower and comfortable bed No hand towels, asked a number of times but only received them two of the five nights
The indoor swimming pool for us was a major plus point for the hotel and very helpful reception staff. The cost of the resturant was expensive.
the very friendly staff, the location in Britanny
staff very gentle and ready to help, room confortable and quiet, good location parking space limited
nice hotel. jacuzzi breakfast not included and expensive
Nice location. Good breakfast. Everything seemed well organised with the room well cleaned. I would recommend this hotel. It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room.
Location close to beach and an easy walk into the town of Carnac
We chose the Hotel because of its location, but on reflection there were other Hotels with a much better outlook. The Hotel room was small with a view over the car park, and had no air conditioning, and in my experience it can get very warm in Carnac.
The location of the Hotel, 2 minutes walk from the beach. The use of the spa. the view from the room over the salt marsh. We ate in the restaurant, the food was very, very average and the wine list overpriced. There are plenty of restaurants in the town, I would recommend you try one of these.
We liked the location beside the Lagoon, very close to the beach and the town. Great coastal walking nearby. Thalassa facilities very relaxing.Generally a very pleasant place to stay.
Very good position. Standard room:big bed but little space for luggage
new hotel,5mins walk from historic part of town, hotel has a underground car park, staff excellent,
The duplex rooms are fantastically spacious and good value for families
Close to the city centre. The room was confortable. The staff was not friendly at all, they were rude and indolent.Really unpleasant experience for us.We will no return to this hotel.
The room was very comfortabe. However, the hotel was unable to provide a meal in the restaurant and could not provide room service despite offering a 24/7 service.
Staff very helpful and friendly, good room and other facilities, our room had a balcony. Hotel close to the old town, but far enough out to avoid any night-time noise etc. Free parking in car park directly opposite. A bit difficult to find, but partly because we drove through half of Vannes to get there. But don't let that put you off - just make sure you get a decent map off the web in advance. Hotel is signposted once you get closer. Not the cheapest - but you definitely get what you pay for.
Hotel is located on edge of old town, within easy walking distance.
The staff were excellent, if you requested anything it was there immediately. Good position, not far from restaurants and the old port.
Very convenient location near Vannes Centre. Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. Had dinner there and food was excellent. No complimentary toiletries (information sheet says they are available at reception on request)
Very clean new hotel Did not read request for twin bedded room so only double available as full.
Very clean and comfortable room, nice personel, good price.
The room was small and uncomfortable. We upgraded for our second night which was slightly better but I don't think this hotel represents value for money, at all.
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the centrte of Vannes and the free car park is a big plus. Breakfast is very expensive but there are plenty of reasonable alternatives in the town.
Lovely room, quiet and very comfortable. Friendly welcome and excellent location just a few minutes walk to the beautiful old city and plenty of choice with places to eat. Just a short walk from train station.
The reception staff were excellent and helped in every way they could to make our stay rewarding. Their knowledge of the area was very good, and they guided us to the best sights each day. The rooms were very clean.
Convenience for walking into Vannes The price for breakfast.
Comfortable hotel, well situated
location, friendliness of staff, room, all together an excellent stay --
Very convenient to all attractions and restaurants. Ample free parking once hotel located! We would like to recommend the Terroir restaurant (run by an ex sous chef of Heston Bloumemtal) five minutes walk from the hotel. The only problem was the road at the side was used by "boy racers" at night and we would recommend you ask for a room at the back as there was no air-con and we had to keep the window open.
Helpful efficient staff, very clean, well maintained bedroom Distance from historic centre of Vannes. Lack of communal areas, eg dining room, proper lounge or bar, breakfast served in bedroom. Absence of interesting views or local character. Very inadequate storage for clothes and possessions even in a large room. Open shelves with no doors and tiny inconvenient wardrobe.
The location is magical, right on the beach yet close to the beautiful city of Vannes. The room was quite small and stuffy.
we stay just to sleep ,but the view was very nice and everithing was ok nothing
The hotel services are excellent .But mosty the sense of village.
The location was very peaceful and the views were idyllic. see comment on menu
Location was absolutely stunning, particularly with the view over the waterfront from our twin room. We were allocated what was obviously a smoking room which was unpleasant, but bearable. I honestly do not remember seeing a tick-box on the web-site for smoking/non-smoking and this might, therefore, be my fault for not stipulating non-smoking, or the web-site may need to make this choice more obviously visible.
the location close to Vannes, while in a very attractive surrounding small bath, small toilet
Superb location, very quiet and not far from town center of vannes which is superb.
The position of the hotel in Conleau, south of Vannes, is superb. The staff on Reception were very helpful and the Breakfast Buffet was extensive and appetising. The menu in both the restaurant and the 'Cafe' was not to our taste. It was very 'Fruits de Mers' orientated with very few meat options (some offal dishes, again not to our taste ).
Business + Nature walk NO
the buffet breakfast!!
Quiet and comfortable
The room was very comfortable it has a king size bed plus two beds for my children and a real working air condition. The bathroom in my room required an urgent renovation (all the other room facilities were in good condition and overcome this problem)
Ideally located for going on a boat trip to one of the Islands. 20 minute walk along the river to the old town, which is beautiful.
Quiet hotel close to the harbour and the sea I am a fitness freak and there is no workout facility.
proximity to carnac beach.easy on site parking. tea/coffee making facilities no available.
location breakfast was good but a little overpriced for a buffet
Location was excellent Bedroom could do with an update
Good location - right on the beach Food good especially the breakfast Too expensive for a 4 star hotel that looked a bit "tired"
Very clean, well appointed room. Very attentive staff. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Free on-site parking. Good beach location.
Location, comfort, and service were all excellent High cost of continental breakfast
Everything about this hotel was excellent, from staff to facilities to ambiance. The moment we walked in the door the staff were so attentive. Excellent experience. We will definitely be back.
We loved the beautiful view from our Room 102 of the wonderul beach. Also the ability to park our car in the hotel grounds. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as we considered 21.50 euros per person to be far too expensive. Also we did not lke the " smoked " glass in the bathroom mirror or in the long mirror in the entrance to the room. My wife could not see to do her face or hair for 3 days !!
Good service, good food, excellent selection of wine.
Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location. Room decor was a little tired but, did not detract from an enjoyable stay. Alcohol and breakfast prices were too high.
First impression was wow - so very different and very tastefully decorated. It was quaint and very artistically furnished and decorated. The garden was delightful. The photograph did not do it justice. Quaint and small there was not a great deal of room. Would not have liked to have stayed there any great length of time as little room for unpacking clothes etc.
Very welcoming, lots of character, lovely staff and rooms Full cost was not specified during booking and we had to pay an additional charge on checkout (however the staff were careful to identify this when we arrived). Listed as family friendly but not really suitable for very young children (ours are 4, 3 and 1). Breakfast does not live up to the very high standard of the rest of the hotel.
The hours of opening of the bar.
This a stylish boutique type small hotel with intersrtingly designed rooms around a pleasant coutyard garden and small pool. There was a very nice bar in the reception area, but as it was the barman's day off it was not open, which was disappointing.
Nice furniture. Very nice place and very confortable. Very good breakfast.
The best thing is its location and the details the customer can find inside the room. It is a very clean hotel. The breakfast was expensive (15 euros) in relation to the amount of things that the traveller can choose.
Leaving! We had booked a triple room as we were travelling with our daughter. Unfortunately we were given two rooms on different floors ! We showed our booking form which clearly stated a triple room but were informed that there wasn't one available. This impacted on our stay in such a fundamental way that we did not use any of the hotel's facilities - in particular we didn't eat in the restaurant, The staff member with which we dealt with was very dismissive of our complaint and could only just about manage a very inadequate apology.
Lots of towels available (makes a change in France) nad light airy room with both air con and fresh air. Breakfast - souless
clean and very tidy , nice staff . good breakfast , peaceful location good parking facilities
Pleantly surprised at quality of room and bathroom considering the price. Very competitive. About 10 minutes stroll in to Vannes centre. Highly recommended.
Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Il est rare de disposer d'un peignoir de bain dans un hôtel 2**.
Found the rooms comfortable, the only thing was the tv had no english spoken channels! Nice to see tea/coffee in room., Much appreciated although booked as double, towels, shampoo etc. only supplied for one person.
Staff were welcoming and helpful. Room comfortable and hotel close to town facilities e.g. restaurants
All the staff are excellent - very courteous and extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they also treat you like a human being not an abstract 'guest'. The hotel is beautifuly presented although the spa seems expensive. As a solo traveller I would appreciate having the easier option of an evening meal (in the winter) without feeling that I am 'asking a favour' even though the response has always been charming. I love the fish! If you have English speaking guests you could consider having an English newspaper?
location, car parking and staff no elevator, not fancy, value for the money-poor
The hotel was peaceful and relaxing - the decor throughout was excellent as was the attention to detail. The propietor was very welcoming and helpful throughout. It was a little expensive, but on balance it was worth the extra.
We liked the location the room the car park and the support of the staff
Staff pleasant, central location Breakfast lacked variety for the cost but what there was was good. Garage parking very expensive
Good location near old town, friendly staff, overall price to value ok building post modern from 70ies as the rooms, garage difficult to use for unexperienced drivers
Very spacious room with large bathroom. Just 2 minutes walk from the old town and shops. Cheap available parking next to the hotel.
safe and secure under ground parking.excellent very helpful staff no
Our triple room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
Excellent location and staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was satisfactory. A refreshment tray in the room would have been good, as there are no refresment facilities provided within the hotel whatsoever.
Centrally located and convenient - generally good value for the room rate. Breakfast charge too high - we ate elsewhere. Car parking charges also quite high and we could not access the car park because our top box was too high to fit in the underground car park. It would help if the hotel advertised that there is a maximum hight limit as a secure car parking facility was one of our reasons for choosing this hotel.
It is convenient for the historic old town of Vannes, as well as the shops and harbour front.
The warm welcome and the excellent handling of our calls to the hotel plus car park, essential for security as we were returning to Ireland from France and did not wish to unpack the car. So that was most helpful. No
The staff. Breakfast was good. Restaurant closed all weekend.
Its location and style - not up to normal Ibis standard
The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. It restored my faith in Ibis hotels which took a battering
