Pros: Big, very light and clean rooms, great location. We enjoyed the views and a lake nearby. Perfect food, the chef is a genius! Very good home wine. All staff speak good English. The best place we stopped in Romania!
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: The surroundings, the view from the top balcony, the Host was amazing: she helped us in Everything! Very kidfriendly.
Pros: The hotel was very helpful in getting checked in and getting out luggage up to our rooms. Our room had a nice balcony with a view of the lake and an extra bedroom. We had a very good meal in the dining room and a great breakfast in the morning. They also provided great help in getting our luggage back down the to car in the morning.
Pros: Great food and location. Very clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
Pros: Staff is polite and was willing to serve us dinner although we arrive late in the evening (upon arriving we notices that we were actually the only ones occupying a table at that late hour). All the facilities described in the booking advertising are real and functional: playing ground for the kids, parking area, hammocks, the restaurant which offers indoor and outdoor possibility of serving the meals, great view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Cozy and clean rooms. We booked an apartment and could enjoy all the facilities it provided. As mentioned above we had dinner and breakfast and both of them were very good! Traditional and tasty food with high variety and very good prices. Special thanks to the staff! Great job, guys!
Cons: The road leading to "Pensiunea Ioana" is under construction and it takes forever to get there. You have several sections where the road is unpaved and some of them have a traffic light system which takes ages until it turns green.

Pros: The host is very friendly and hospitable, the room spacious and warm, the surrounding full of mountains and green slope... You can eat there and have a traditional breakfast :) absolutely recommended!
Pros: The rooms we rented were nice , warm, accommodating and clean. Those were the only good things about it!
Cons: Firstly the owner or the responsible one when we reached wasnt there someone of her staff called her. For amenities dont even mention on soap smaller than a nut size per person. If you press to pay at the hotel make sure to have cash they dont accept credit cards and certainly you have to wait iiif the owner is close to come there. When we were departing a person from the bar told us all is ok (with English they know) and we left knowing that we paid by cc. Then she was calling us and asking us to go back and pay by cash and she accused us that we left like that! If you have the option stay elsewhere doesnt worth the trouble for everything even that cheap!!
Pros: nice comfy rooms and breakfast
Pros: Situated in a beautiful location. From each part of the building you could see the mountains. Absolutely beautiful. The host is very open to meet the client needs with anything they need. Rooms are clean, beads comfortable.
Pros: Lovely place ,lovely people, very clean .
Pros: The location and the interior.
Pros: The staff was very friendly. Wi-fi good
Cons: Needs improvements and more modern bathrooms
Pros: The location is GREAT!
Cons: Food!!! The breakfast & lunch were under any criticism, being prepared by the host together with her little niece and, it seems, both are far from knowing what the cuisine means (it seems that the poor quality of the food is determined by the acceptable price, or vice versa). In general, the picture on the website of the restaurant is made by a professional, which I cannot say about the chef. Bed+mattress! Totally uncomfortably! Spider web and dust everywhere. Such called „vintage beach” is an enormous shame!
Pros: Food was tasty and good looking but portions felt small. Relaxing place.
Cons: Insect nets should be installed. Had to kill 2 spiders and some other insects (window was opened only to lower the temperature a bit). Restaurant menu could be a bit more diverse.
Pros: Excellent location, fair price, everything was clean and the staff was helpful with all the requests. Will be back!
Pros: Staff is very nice and pleasant. Surroundinds are just great. You can bring your own food and drinks that you may store in the fridge of the common kitchen. Otherwise you can preorder food at the restaurant. Room was ok, bed itself could be better and the walls are not soundproof, so you will hear every step and word around.
Cons: Flying insects if you leave the windows open - is ok for the mountain and due to humidity. Suggestion would be to place some nets on window, otherwise make sure you bring anti pests measures.
Pros: Had the most amazing stay at Bia Papadia! At first arrival the building might look a bit dated but as soon as you enter and actually stay you realize that this place is a special gem. The owner and the lady in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful . The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed. The food was better than I've had in a long time. You are asked to order some dishes in advance (in the morning for the evening) but they are more than worth the extra planning :) Everything is made from fresh produce, has great taste and looks like it comes from an expensive restaurant. While the prices actually are really low! The choice is not that big but varied enough. For the first time in all the years I've been living in Romania I ate papanasi that I actually really really liked - not a big lot of fried dough like you often get - but loads of cheese and fresh jam. Really good! One day some friends joined me and the owner heated up the hot tub for us for free. We loved it! Overall just very friendly and personal service without being imposing. The location is a few hundred meters from the entrance of the national park. We made a hike up Tatra mountain and the scenery from up there is also really pretty. From the balcony of the guesthouse I also had a beautiful view on the mountain range. The location is in a very quiet, restful area - great for getting away from everything.
Cons: Maybe the plants in the terrace pots...they could use some extra love :) Some of the doors in other rooms where sqeeking a bit which you can hear quite well, not really a problem though cause guests staying here I believe are in general not the noisy types.

Pros: Excellent internet conexion
Cons: No shower
Pros: Very friendly people, good food. Called them. In advanced amd they prepared what we asked for.
Pros: Centrally located but quiet, comfortable beds, good breakfast. Restaurant and small store in the same building.
Cons: Restaurant was cozy, but meals below average.
Cons: All of the above. and the waitress and the management.
Cons: We booked a twin room. They said they didn't have one. We had to have a sofa bed for one of us. Not very helpful or apologetic.

Pros: A very good stop to rest and prepare for continuation of your trip.
Pros: Flexibility, friendliness, good bed and food.
Pros: It was very relaxing to sleep there. Traditional food.

Pros: Great surroundings.
Cons: Thin walls, noise from neighboring rooms. Not enough towels in the room.
Pros: The owner is very friendly and a great cook, her food is delicious! All ingredients come from her own garden :)
Pros: We arrived very late for accommodation, but the host was kind and understanding the situation.
Cons: Low water pressure Breakfest pretty poor
Pros: The family was great. My cat, Mustafa "Moose" and I were welcomed into the property and their home. I was a bit under the weather and the family provided for me by cooking me soup and having a conversation via google translate. My cat played outside with their two cats and even liked to meet the cattle. It was a very peaceful environment, surrounded by pasters and mountains. I would have stayed longer if I didn't have to return my car rental. So many beautiful things to do around the area: hike, venture around the lake, monasteries, churches, nature etc. Was a beautiful experience and to me, the most comfortable bed and pillows I've slept on in the month of venturing through Romania.

Pros: The meals were very good.
Pros: Quiet and peaceful, nice welcoming staff
Pros: Nice staff and very good food! Clean room and a great view. Cheap and worth a visit. Thank you for a pleasent stay.
Pros: Tried hard, didn’t find anything here.
Cons: I stayed a lot in Romania at this kind of proprieties in the last years, but this was an awful, most horrible experience ever. Bathroom with a very bad smell that will not leave my brain for a week from now, towels overused with the softness of sandpaper, toilet paper like sandpaper too, a terrible bad mattress. To complete the experience, two weddings at neighborhood proprieties with bad music all night long.

Pros: Great location and good value. The room was clean and tidy. Owner is very helpful.
Pros: Kind owner really takes care of his apartments: it is pretty clean and tidy. Picturesque landscapes
Pros: The villa was a normal one, nothing extraordinary. The room was clean (even if the carpet could have used a bit more dusting), we had hot water, a small balcony that you could enjoy a nice view. Breakfast was not included, but you had a kitchen you could use. The host was really nice.
Cons: Some of the furniture was old and it did not look nice in the same space as the newer one. The doors on the shower cabin did not fully close so we had to take care not to create a flood. And the floors squeaked :(.
Pros: Quiet place, the kitchen has all you need.
Pros: Very cozy place and friendly owner! Clean rooms and nice location.

Cons: I don't have anything to complain.
Pros: everything was amazing
Pros: Large, spacious house. Family-run, superbly attentive host (able to speak perfect English). The location is magnificent. A quiet, tranquil spot overlooking the enormous Cealau peaks. Could/should have spent more nights here and explored the area. Superb
Cons: Signage - we spent 30 mins trying to find it!
Pros: The view is just amazing! The owner is very kind and gave us good tips regarding the places that we should visit once we were in that area.
Cons: The bed is not comfortable. The room is not as clean as i expected.

Pros: Good food.
Pros: Location, the atmosphere, the view, cleanliness
Cons: The shower water was dirty
Pros: The view from the property is very nice. The pool, hot baths and playground have been very much appreciated by the children.
Pros: The property is remotely located, but benefits from a lot of space and the nice nature around. There is a generous playground for kids, as well as facilities for adults to enjoy the nature. There is also a pool but we didn't have time to enjoy it. The hosts were very welcoming, and the food was very good. Would definitely recommend.
Pros: Nice and very friendly people, the boss (a lady) was facilitating and smiling. Food was very good. Very well located. A place to go, absolutely.
Cons: Nothing enough to report.
Pros: A beautiful and relaxing place to stay with nice and attentive hosts. The garden ist a little paradise, the food from the garden/farm and the room cosy. The cute little kitten made my day :) Thank you!
Pros: The host !
Pros: What a beautiful place and what a lovely family! This was our second stay. Wonderful!
Pros: The property owners were very helpful and polite. They kindly made us some dinner when we arrived late. To be fair I believe they are trying to improve.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable and the house was very cold. Heating was on for about an hour in the evening. At dinner and breakfast we sat with our coats on. Some local guests had a party at the weekend and the music was extremely loud until way after midnight. It did stop after I went down to complain. The owners apologised the next morning.
Pros: Very nice owner. She does not speak English but her son helped. Food was homemade and tasted good. It is possible to get dinner in the Pensuinea. The garden is very nice.
Cons: Parking on the street only , there was not enough space for all guests. The double- bed was very small and not comfortable.

Pros: Perfect location, next to the hiking trails. It is possible to take breakfast and eat at the hotel restaurant.
Cons: Some street dogs made noises during night.
Pros: It was a restaurant at first floor with good food and good prices. We had a room with view directley on the Ceahlau mountain.
Pros: It was extremely clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: You are not allowed to stay in the lobby with your own drinks, you have to buy from them. The rule is imposed by the owner.
Pros: SUPER DIVERSIFICATA
Cons: GRUPUL ELECTROGEN DE REZERVA NU A FUNCTIONAT CAND NU A FUNCTIONAT COMERCIAL POWER
Pros: It was near the hiking trail.
Cons: This location dissapointed me! We had kind of an issue during our stay. We made a reservation for a two bedroom suite with private bathroom but instead of that, the host tricked us giving us 2 separate rooms with shared bathroom for the same price. Even though we had a reservation and the check in was open until 20:30, the host gave away our suite and we had to take those 2 POOR rooms with shared bathroom (in one of the rooms the heating system didn’t work).
Pros: Nice location, with mountain view. Comfortable beds.
Cons: The place doesn't offer anything else than a room, not even coffee or a beer. The next shop or restaurant is at least 15 minutes walk. The rooms are very small and really basic, nothing else then a bed, basically. There is practically no place to put anything. The host claims they don't offer coffee because it's not yet high season, which is strange.
Pros: Excellent location, breathtaking view and comfy bed.
Cons: No breakfast option
Cons: Nice view, nice room, but it lacked some small things. Was okayish.

Pros: Panorama was great
Cons: All was ok.
Pros: Good location for hikes (we were there in late summer). Staff is a bit short on English, but tries their best at figuring out what you're trying to say - knowing a few words German, French or Spanish might help. For anything else, try Google Translate!
Cons: It has seen better days, a bit past its prime - but an experience nevertheless
Pros: It's a short walk from the entrance of the national park. You can get nice meals in the restaurant (although very little vegetarian options). Our room was clean and comfortable with a terrace and lovely view.
Cons: Everything was alright. It's been a month now since we've been there and I can recall no bad feelings towards this place in me.
