Pros: My ferry docked late so after a 2 hour drive from Calais i was past check in time but given a lovely, warm welcome. Great family chateau in the middle of the countryside. Not much else around for a few miles but there is a lovely scenic village, one of the best in France, close by. Highly recommend for an authentic, country chateau stay. Not the oldest chateau but v pleasant all the same.
Pros: Perfect Place! A wonderful, enchanted, Chateau, beautiful room! Recommendation!!!
Pros: This is one of the most incredible places we've been. Unbeleivable castle, very well maintained, huge, beautiful and very quiet environment with a very nice host speaking good English (not so common in that area). Very much recommended!
Pros: The beds (single) were comfortable but noisy. The chateau and furniture are beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed linen was lovely - crisp white cotton. Nice croissants for breakfast.
Cons: It was a cold December night and the room was not very warm. The dining room was cold. We paid 30 euro each for a very poor dinner. There was no key to the bedroom door. There were light bulbs missing and a broken curtain hook.
Pros: Beautiful house, attentive hosts, delicious organic food and wine. Five stars!
Pros: This place is much more beautiful than the pictures show, and Max was super helpful with everything! This is an amazing one of a kind place, that is definitely worth the visit and time.
Pros: Unique experience, antique furnishings and decor, Max our host was very pleasant and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and was served in a beautiful conservatory area. The extensive grounds were attractive also.
Pros: Immensely friendly and welcoming staff. It was wonderful to share the family room with the proprietor, his family and friends. Beautifully crafted room design which was absolutely in keeping with the property. The bed was extremely comfortable. We felt very welcome and valued.
Pros: The host, grounds and breakfast were all good.
Cons: Bed was too small and soft for us.
Pros: Beautiful building and garden. The modern bathroom in the tower was still in style with the room, which was filled with old furniture and paintings. Breakfast by the painted windows was fantastic. Maximilian was an excellent host and made us feel like visiting family. Hearing the cuckoo is quite exotic nowadays.
Cons: Not that easy to find. A sign at the front gate would have helped.

Pros: Very comfortable and quiet. Large room and lovely shared grounds
Pros: The owner was there to greet us, although we were later than expected. The room was warm and comfortable and beautifully decorated
Cons: The breakfast was good although, finding the milk was tough ! When the milk did turn up it was then removed so second helpings were impossible....
Pros: Really friendly host in a lovely character property in a peaceful location.
Pros: Quiet location in a lovely old house. Hosts very friendly and room comfortable. Plenty of parking.
Cons: No shower but that was probably my fault for not paying attention to the facilities. Not really a problem.
Pros: Our room was amazing. Upstairs with a beamed ceiling and a slipper bath in the bedroom. Bed very comfortable. My husband would have liked a shower as well but even he managed to have a bath - for once!! Used bath bubbles first night and felt they should have been replaced for the following evening. Property bit difficult to find without satnav. Restaurants a little distance to drive each evening. Grounds gorgeous and very spacious. Breakfast good and adequate but would have liked more fruit. Hosts charming. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: No shower and no fruit/juice selection at breakfast.

Pros: Nice staff, big and bright room, quiet location.
Cons: Decent but overpriced breakfast.
Pros: The food was superb.
Cons: Having no reception on arrival and having to phone and let yourselves in is ok but not welcoming as having someone in person. Thought also it should be mentioned when booking.
Pros: Nice little hotel in a good location in the Somme Valley. We had a lovely bedroom with a powerful shower. We slept well due to the quiet location Dinner was exceptionally good with an obviously talented chef.
Cons: It was a little difficult to find the hotel due to its location in a small village. We wondered if we would be disturbed by the trains as the hotel is opposite the station. However there seemed to be no trains running at night.
Pros: The restaurant food was superb. Dinner and Breakfast were well above average. A kettle was provided in the room. Good wi-fi.
Cons: Location rather dull but not a problem for overnight stay
Cons: Travelling all day and then arriving at the hotel which was closed . We had to phone a number stuck to the door and then were given instructions on how to get in. The entrance was in the next street and it was raining very heavily. Don't know how you would manage if you didn't speak the language. Not impressed.
Pros: The attached restaurant was good. This is a small private hotel. The staff [Owners??] were efficient and friendly. The room was immaculate, modern and looked recently refurbished. It's about 16Km from Amiens but easy to get to.
Cons: The bed could have been more comfortable.
Pros: Great room with a huge balcony. Free parking and pet stay Fabulous food in the restaurant
Cons: Nowhere else in the village. Wi-fi not recognised by my ipad
Pros: as we wanted to get cycling fairly early we declined breakfast. We were cycling the Somme river trail ... which is fabulous, and the hotel is located conveniently close to the river. we didn't eat in the restaurant, but we did have drinks outside as the weather was so good. the bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and spacious and the staff allowed us to store our bike overnight in a secure room. The cycle ride was fabulous and we feel we shall do it again at some point, so we'll definitely be making another reservation here.
Cons: nothing - it was all excellent.
Pros: Brilliant all round
Pros: The room was large, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, with an excellent bathroom. Food was out of this world and the staff super friendly. In fact we're thinking of going back for our wedding reception!
Cons: The opening hours need to be clarified as we arrived and there was no-one there! However this was soon rectified.

Pros: Interesting architecture. Great secluded rural location if you have a car. We were on bikes. Need to offer evening meal as the nearest restaurant is miles away and not everyone wants a take away pizza
Cons: See above
Pros: Beautiful Rooms
Cons: We didn't like the plastic animal ornaments in the gorgeous garden, they quite spoiled the look & they don't add anything good to the grandure of the wonderful setting.

Pros: No road noise and excellent stop off when travelling up or down the country. Also all on one level with the car so a couple of yards away.
Pros: Large room, very friendly, excellent all round
Cons: All excellent
Cons: Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so wasn't able to try it. However, found a good restaurant within walking distance in town.
Pros: Very nice family owned hotel. The owner is very nice. Small breakfast but sufficient.
Pros: Good sized bathroom. Restaurant on site good quality but quite expensive. Shed style chalet room but well equipped.
Cons: Motel setting but still within walking distance to (not very interesting) town with very limited eating options.
Pros: Cleanliness, spacious.
Cons: The toilet made noise (like the water tank was being filled) and the sink drained very slowly.
Pros: Excellent accommodation for a disabled person, bathroom very large and fitted with handles/wall bars etc. Staff very friendly and restaurant excellent.

Pros: Very Homely, quirky - great fun - just the job for a holiday
Pros: Friendly helpful owner. Two nice big dogs.
With a stay at Hôtel Inn Design Amiens Resto Novo in Dury, you'll be connected to a shopping center, within a 10-minute drive of Amiens Cathedral and Gambetta Square. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Perfect location for a stopover. Great sized room Helpful staff who ensured that we could still get into our room even though we arrived long after reception had closed. Nice breakfast
Cons: Even though rooms are non-smoking it smelled like someone had been smoking in there
Pros: Close to the highway, perfect for a stopover.
Cons: No fridge
Pros: The food- dinner and breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Cons: Room was small, stuffy and the small fan provided was unable to deal with the heat - it was very hot!!
Cons: All was fine
Cons: No hot water in the morning. No cover on the duvet. No help with baggage. Not really suitable for mature couple.
Pros: Hard working staff. Doing the best they can in a run down dirty building. They keep it as clean as they can.
Cons: Tiny rooms, dirty carpets, broken lights and toilet fan. No quilt cover just a quilt wedged into gap if you want to use it. Dark and dingy corridors. Nothing at all like the photos on the site. Full of builders looking for cheap place to stay.
Pros: Good location as a "pit stop" just next to the motorway. Very close (by foot) to a big commercial center where you can shop and eat.
Pros: The eating facillaties
Pros: Location to city centre. Good breakfast.
Cons: Very small room
A stay at Hôtel & Restaurant Le Cardinal places you in the heart of Poix-de-Picardie, and within a 15-minute drive of Eglise Saint-Gilles de Grandvilliers. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
Pros: Comfortable bedroom
Cons: Attractive formal dining room not matched by slow service and having to use the same cutlery for starter and main meal. Bottle of wine already opened before being plonked on table. Breakfast room only had tables of 8 for communal eating - not good.
Pros: A typical small town French hotel.
Cons: The breakfast was lacklustre for the price. Leaky coffee machine, buffet items not restocked, fruit old and unappetising.
Pros: Clean hotel, good beers
Cons: Very basic hotel, simple breakfast and terrible restaurant
Pros: Not much really.
Cons: Not good at all, in stifling 34 degree heat our tiny rooms were in the roof and had a skylight which had taken the full rays of the sun all day, as you can imagine it was like walking into an oven and with no air condition it was terrible. Also no proper shower and I had to move the TV and unplug it so I could plug in my phone charger!! To be honest I expected better for the money and I wouldn't recommend it. I wish I had travelled the extra 15 minutes to the Ibis at Beauvais Airport for 10/15€ more the rooms are 4 times the size, fully equipped and air conditioned.
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: Booked on the basis that the restaurant would be open Sunday evening as per booking.com webpage. Wrong! I have never had to self check in before. No staff on duty. Had to call a mobile number to be given a code to enter the building and then pick up our room key. No staff on site all evening until next morning.
Pros: Very little, breakfast was OK but cost extra
Cons: Very tired decor and staff!! Food in the restaurant was truly terrible, 12 of us ate and only 3 were satisfied, while another 3 had virtually inedible meals, even after sending them back once!!
Pros: Warm welcome, friendly staff, very good dinner, disappointing breakfast, little choice for the cost 9euros was high, flaky messy to eat croissants, over cooked and poor coffee quality. Easy parking. I will revisit.
Pros: Everyone friendly and helpful . The meal was good
Cons: Bit old fashioned. There was no lift and I had 2 climb 2 flights of stairs to the room
Pros: Mainly location
Pros: The shower was in the bath and the shower head and flexible hose was wrapped round the hose. It was a bit fiddly to hook up on the holder so I just had to hold it to shower which was not ideal!
