Pros: Suite 27 was lovely. Hosts welcoming and helpful. Ideal location for visiting Cote D'armor and surrounding countryside.
Pros: Great base for day trips.
Pros: A fantastic stay - our hosts could not have been more welcoming and the facilities were first-class - a real home from home! Because of the restaurants in town being booked up as a result of the St Loup festival we got a take away pizza and spent a wonderful couple of hours in the beautiful garden sipping wine and chilling out - just what we needed after a long drive. A delicious breakfast and safe parking - highly recommended!
Pros: The breakfast was very tasty, on time and beautifully presented. Isabelle was wonderful & kind! It was directly across the street from Hertz rentals so very convenient to both the car rental and the train station.
Cons: The only thing that could have been better is if we had stayed longer.
Pros: Good bed good shower good continental breakfast friendly easy hosts easy parking easy to find.
Pros: Excellent comfort helpful host
Cons: Toilets accross the corridor
Cons: Shower in room but toilet across the hall
Located in Lanvollon, Ar Maen Chambres d'hôtes is within a 15-minute drive of Kermaria Chapel and Le Manoir de la Noe Verte. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Totally Everything. Beautiful house. Wonderful owners. Most comfortable rooms with best beds. High class but still relaxed decor and furniture and excellent artistic taste. High speed wi-fi. Delicious homemade fresh French breakfast. Lovely golden dog. Good location. Excellent tips from Nathalie about places to visit and restaurants. After leaving from there we feel like we have a home and new friends in Bretagne.
Pros: A tastefully restaured old property within walking distance from the village
Cons: There are no good restaurants close by, nearest being in Binic or Paimpol
Pros: Beautifully presented. Very comfortable
Cons: It is a bit far from good restaurants
Pros: The family is so welcoming and the house is so lovely and cumfortable. We feel like at home.
Pros: The owners are very friendly. The house and locations are superb.
Pros: The Hosts are exceptionally welcoming. The room is big even for us 3 and the breakfast is good with an excellent coffee, croissants and a large choice of jam to of course accompany the local salted butter. We had a great time and the hosts provided us with a lot of advice on what to see, where to go (beaches, islands). They also adviced us on where to eat, and we all know eating local is part of the journey and they know excellent restaurants. In other words, ask them for advice. They are great.
Pros: Very friendly owners. Beatifull room.
Located in Plehedel, Mathieu Kergourlay Hôtel de Boisgelin is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of Le Manoir de la Noe Verte and Kermaria Chapel. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice and quiet Domain, hiking paths, golf course, comfortable bed, clean room, friendly staff
Cons: No lift
Pros: Excellent evening meal View of the golf course from the bedroom window Quiet, rural location but close enough to main route
Cons: Breakfast was ok but unexciting; coffee pre-brewed
Pros: Clean, comfortable rooms. Super friendly staff, marvellous restaurant.
Pros: Staying in a chateau with a beautiful restaurant absolutely made our stay in France a magical experience!!
Pros: Staff were exceptional, staying up very late after we were delayed due to travel issues. Service at breakfast and dinner was excellent but the food in the evening really was superb. Beautiful setting and environment. Well worth visiting.
Cons: Nothing really - in an ideal world a pool would have been the perfect option for chilling out further.
Pros: Chateau de Boisgelin is an amazing property in a perfect parkland setting. The interior has been renovated to a very high modern standard without losing the clearly historic character of the property. If you want to stay in style in Brittany look no further...
Cons: Open bar later in evening for a drink.
Pros: Food fantastic, very clean comfortable, amazing view, very quiet.
Cons: No tea/ coffee in room, eaves protruding over bed,
Pros: Excellent dinner in the restaurant
Pros: Restaurant was amazing - beautiful fresh food selection - stunning presentation. Breakfast was an excellent choice of breads and cold selections View from the room was beautiful. Beds were huge and comfortable. Bathroom was big and modern
Pros: The grounds are big and beautiful. Very green surroundings especially to walk the dog. The bar area and restaurant are lovely, clean and beautifully furnished. The rooms are spacious, and nicely furnished. The desert of the gourmet menu was delicious, and the vegetable clearly treated with love. Prices in the bar were very reasonable. The blond receptionist was nice!
Cons: The food was OK - but it felt like it was style over substance. So while the plating was done beautifully, some things brought the whole menu down. For a "chic" restaurant like this, with their own vegetable plot, a better vegetarian option was something we expected. The gnoccis were really really horrible; greasy, unseasoned, and just unpleasant to swallow. Staff in the restaurant and bar was friendly enough. The blond receptionist was absolutely lovely. However everyone else in the reception was VERY rude (especially the lady with the brown, curly hair), unfriendly and not forthcoming. For the price we paid, we expected our suitcases to be brought to our rooms - or at least someone to ask us to help (we had a lot of luggage). Coming with a dog, we also expected it to be very normal to ask to put a few things in the fridge in order not to rudely leave anything in the room in the summer heat. Clearly, expecially for one receptionist (brown, curly hair), this was an outragous request, and met with a very unfriendly and rude attitude. Moreover, a simple hello, good evening, good morning seemed like too much to ask to some of the reception staff. As clients, we felt like a burden, and like we were not welcome. Our dog hurt himself before our arrival; so I simply asked for tape and sissors, to put a bandage around his leg, to avoid having him bleed over the light room carpet. Again, the curly haired receptionist responded very rudly and made us feel like horrible guests - when all we wanted to do is being polite and not stain anything.
With a stay at La Demeure, you'll be centrally located in Guingamp, steps from Jardin Public de Guingamp and within a 5-minute walk of Basilique Notre Dame du Bon Secours. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room and indeed the whole place is exquisitely decorated. The staff was adorable and breakfast was an array of decadently healthy treats (bravo to the lovely baker) with healthy but scrumptious croissants made with pumpkinseeds flour, chestnut cakes and surprising home jams which mixed lavender and lemon balm with homegrown strawberries! Looking for an excuse to go back!
Pros: The staff were very helpful ,the breakfast was excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful stop off after the Plymouth Roscoff crossing which we have returned to three times. The owners have obviously spent a great deal of time getting the decor just right and choosing fabrics and furniture carefully. The rooms are comfortable - this time we tried a suite which had catering facilities and made us think we may stay longer next time to take advantage of them. Breakfast is amazing..delicious home made and organic jams and pastries and an excellent variety of juices and smoothies. We've booked to stay on our way back up to the UK.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Pros: I especially appreciated the home made bio breakfast and the staff attention to the guests. I discovered excellent cake recepies and brought some pumpkin flower for my cakes. Excellent experience
Pros: All the staff , especially the owner were very friendly. Beautifully appointed and comfortable room with very tasteful decor. The breakfast is delicious....plenty of choice and many homemade items which are for sale in the adjoining tearoom. We have stayed twice before on our way down to the South and will surely stay there again.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Pros: This is a great hotel. Easy access to the region. Interesting town with a progressive mayor so it is clean and has a number of interesting sites. The hostess was amazing - friendly, informative, warm, helpful, enthusiastic about her city. The breakfast was awesome - organic, local products, delicious. Very comfortable rooms and attractively decorated with traditional and contemporary style. Go!
Pros: Very clean and tidy staff was professional the room is very cosy all the hotel look like 5 star, location spot on near train station 14mn town 10 steps, all near by I recommend this beautiful hotel. thank you

Pros: Very friendly and helpful host.
Located in Pommerit-le-Vicomte, A l'Orée du Bois is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of Chateau de Pierre II and Ancienne prison de Guingamp. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We stayed in the studio, small quirky and full of character. Jessica the host was so helpful. Quiet, great location and the breakfast was excellent.
Cons: No restaurant close by but able to cook for ourselves
Pros: The hot tub was a wonderful bonus at the end of a day of walking. The breakfast and the kitchen were amazing, you could not have asked for more. Our host was a lovely lady who gave us a great suggestion for dinner in the little town close by.
Pros: The owner was really efficient and friendly without being too familiar. The gite was furnished in a modern and comfortable fashion. The breakfast was varied, well presented and excellent quality and included home made yoghurt.
Pros: The room is very well designed. The property itself is in a very quiet location and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
Pros: When entering the domain, you're immediately struck by the environment. Beautifully restored buildings, and a very friendly welcome by the owner. We've booked two rooms for three nights. We were expecting to get just that, but instead, we got an entire house, including living area, fully equipped kitchen and huge rooms. Everything was in excellent condition, and spotless. The spa (also right next door) topped it off. Breakfast was also lovely. Every morning, at the time agreed, a stealth person sneaks into the house, and puts everything on the table. No idea how they do it, we never heard a sound, and still, everything was there. Bread, croissants, fresh dairy, fruit, pancakes, juices, and a sweet surprise. Very highly recommended for a couple of very relaxing days !
Cons: If we really need to find something to nag about: the carpet in the bedrooms isn't comfortable to walk on barefoot. That's it. Can't find anything else ! :-)
Pros: The comfortable bed and settees. The beautiful Kitchen and lounge. The jacuzzis! Everything was fantastic. Definitely higher than a 9.4. I gave this property a 10 for every category. Good size fridge and oven, so that you can cater for yourself if you want to. Fast effective WiFi. .... everything I wanted and more!
Cons: The breakfast was delicious - totally fresh and tasty. I would have liked some savoury items. Fixed it by buying some cheese and substituting it for the home made jam on the last couple of days. Would have loved a coffee maker...
Pros: The host was lovely and treated us very kindly! The rooms were fresh, well cleaned and the kitchen was well equipped. The jacuzzi was a big plus!
Cons: The breakfast was very nice, but maybe a bit to sweet for us. Maybe some eggs would have been nice for example (and Im sure the hostess would provide it to anyone who asked for it). The garden was very nice but would have been even better for children if there would have been like some sort of playground, a swing maybe or something else.
With a stay at Lavoisier in Guingamp, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Chateau de Pierre II and Ancienne prison de Guingamp. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We arrived late but were greeted kindly and told where we could buy pizza just down the road. We were also given a complimentary bottle of water when we said we were thirsty. Simple but comfortable room.
Cons: If they provided breakfast it would have been nice. It felt a bit like we were in someone's converted garage although it had been done well. We were woken by someone else's alarm clock from the house.
Pros: The owner is very helpful (we came on place at 23.00 and still she helped to order pizza for us). Very close to the city centre. Bed very comfortable ;) Clean, quiet, ideal for rest ;)
Pros: A very friendly welcome from the owner and lovely comfortable room kept very clean. The property is within easy walking distance of the town centre but very quiet
Cons: Access is not available until early evening which, on this occasion as I travel by bicycle, was a little irritating although I was previously advised
Cons: Pas toute chaine tv normal
Pros: The owner of the place and his daughter went beyond their ways to make you feel at home, loved them!
Cons: The wife of the owner seems a little grumpy
Located on the road between Rennes and Brest and on the outskirts of the town, the ibis Guingamp Coeur de Bretagne hotel is the ideal base for exploring everything the region has to offer (beaches on the Côte de Granit Rose, Paimpol, Île de Bréhat, Vallée des Saints, etc.). The wine lounge bar is open 24 hours a day and serves a regional menu for enjoying time with family or friends. Hold your seminars in one of our 3 renovated meeting rooms and take a break on our adjoining landscaped terrace.
Pros: We had 10 bikes and were able to store at the hotel. The Reception lady spoke fluent English and was very helpful - a natural.
Cons: The restaurant didn't have a vegan or dairy free menu (but why should it?)
Pros: breakfast was OK
Cons: Evening meal choice was very limited and 'cooked' by the lady who worked reception
Cons: Rooms very small for vacationers. No tissues. No bar soap. No wash clothes.
Pros: Close to both main road and town
Pros: Modern, clean hotel in a convenient location just off the N12. Breakfast was very good, the free wi-fi worked quickly and the staff were helpful. Plenty of free parking. The hotel does not have its own restaurant but there is a very good one next door (L'Atelier)
Pros: It is all in the quality of the room, which of the six hotels I used in France in the last two months Guingamp scored first equal. Not sure why the room needed three shutters of different colours and a roller blind, but it was possible to get the room totally dark and soundproof which counts a lot! Liked being close by the lobby and without having to use lifts or stairs, in this visit at least.
Cons: The room was rather too warm for our taste and problematical to get cooler upon arrival. The air con did not seem to respond for a long time. But the window opened easily and in two ways so that sorted it whilst in the room at least.
Pros: Functional motel with secure bicycle storage area, good room with comfortable bed. Staff amiable and helpful. Breakfast was good except for the 'English' part of scrambled eggs and 'bacon' which was overcooked and essentially lardons. The other items were good, especially the facility to freshly squeeze your own orange juice.
Cons: Wi-Fi was a little patchy. The bicycle storage area is not covered so machine got soaked overnight. A little out of town, very few local restaurants but that was my choice. See breakfast comments below.
Pros: Super restaurant next door (l'Atelier) with delightful staff.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Food almost inedible. We were initially given the wrong key for the room. Young uninterested staff.
Pros: The hotel had not booked the room we asked on the ground floor as we have 2 arthritic labradors but they resolved this very well and in a friendly way.Dogs were allowed in the bar/restaurant and they were given bowls of water. The hotel is very well located. There are some very young staff who are being given very good training on the spot.
Cons: Nothing to dislike. At first we experienced an issue with the young person on reception regarding our booking but the manager helped her to resolve this with friendliness and good humour.
La Fermette du Rohiou is located in the typical village of Le Faouët, a 15-minute drive from the coast. The B&B is set in a 19th-century building and a continental breakfast is prepared every morning. Decorated in a traditional style, the rooms all offer garden views. A shared seating area is featured. Free WiFi access and a TV are provided in the rooms, while the wooden caravan also includes self-catering facilities. Breakfast is taken in the dining room, and guests staying in the wooden caravan can request a breakfast basket. Barbecue facilities are available and there is a shared kitchen at your disposal. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including golfing, cycling and horse riding.
Pros: This is a interesting place to stay if you want to taste some rustic peace and quiet as it is set out in the countryside. Beautiful gardens. Our hostess was friendly and welcoming and showed us where the facilities were for us to make tea and coffee in the guest lounge where there was also a shared TV and fridge for guest use. The lounge is where the wifi signal was available - we could not find a signal in our room. Breakfast was served in the farmhouse and we enjoyed freshly made coffee and a selection of fresh breads and local preserves.
Cons: We found the bed to be too hard for our taste. Our room was in the eaves of a converted stone built farm building and the sloping roof was somewhat difficult to negotiate in areas when using the toilet facilities in the bathroom but as it was only one night it was not an issue for us.
With a stay at Brit Hotel Armor in Guingamp, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Chateau de Pierre II and Ancienne prison de Guingamp. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.

Pros: The house is located in a very convenient place, near Guingamp in Brittany. Comfortable for 4 people at least. One suite ground floor and one suite on 1st. although the shower for the 1st floor was on the second, it was no problem to get there for us, aged 75 plus.... There are more rooms and as I understood it is suitable for 6 people. The best part is the veranda where we spent our leisure hours, breakfast, dinner, card games, etc... a very beautiful garden in front of the property gives a sensation of relaxation. The lady was very nice, and welcoming... We certainly recommend this property for relax and visite the east-north of Britanny.

Cons: Everything was fine no complaints.
Pros: Warm welcome from Monique who was very helpful and went out of her way with her kindness and making the stay a very pleasant one. The guest house was clean, comfortable and charming. Would stay there again!
Pros: Large property full of character with large garden
Cons: Travelling without a car, a bit far from the town centre
Located in Squiffiec, La Squiffiecoise is within a 10-minute drive of Jardin Public de Guingamp and Chateau de Pierre II. Featured amenities include laundry facilities, coffee/tea in a common area, and microwave in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: the cats!
Cons: the dogs! swine can be a bit noisy!
Pros: Nice old house in a small town. Very kind owners, great breakfast and real B&B taste!
Cons: The rooms were a little bit too packed with objects, ornaments and personal belongings of the owners, which made it a bit uncomfortable and difficult to find room for our bags.
Pros: Home made food for breakfast and evening meal owner is highly qualified chef.
Pros: Our host was very flexible with time of breakfast and dinner.
Pros: 5 star home made food. Genial hosts and very comfortable facilities
Pros: The room is in a residential building in a very quiet small village.

Pros: Lovely room & facilities.Good food. Friendly staff

Pros: Beautiful parkland setting and excellent heated pool
Cons: Limited cupboard space
Pros: Big garden around the manoir. Clean small hotelroom with nice shower.
Cons: Small measured breakfast without plates?? Swimmingpool looked ok but can only be reached through a room/cantine were a lot of tables and chairs are stored (so not inviting). Overall not the atmosphere you would expect from an old manoir.
Pros: The staff is really welcoming. The room is comfortable and the swimming pool is nice and warm.
Cons: The only thing there’s no option to hang the showerhead on the wall. I know it’s a French thing but it’s not very modern or practical.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, express check-in, and express check-out. A train station pick-up service is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Very near the train station
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing
Pros: Quieter than my first impression had suggested. Also just a few minutes walk from the town centre. On street parking not too bad.
Cons: Ultra compact bathroom.
Pros: Location is good 3mn walk from the station 15mn from centre and 20mn from the stadium .
Pros: Very nice and clean and the location is good.
Pros: The room was small but quirky. The lady there was very nice and helpful. I thought the place had a good vibe.
Cons: There really wasn’t much room, had to shuffle around the bed.
Pros: All and everything was excellent
Pros: Staff smiled and were very polite and very helpful. Bed was comfortable, and extra pillows provided - I have spinal problems. The bedding was clean and towel service good. Breakfast : I do not eat breakfast, and anyway had to be gone for a very early train, before the breakfast room was even open... But, was given a cup of hot coffee, which was most welcome. Thank you. Location excellent. Train station just across the road. A reasonable restaurant just down the road. The hotel itself boasted a cheery bar.
Cons: The bathroom floor was sticky, needed a very good scrub. and a steam clean. The floor surround of the shower cubicle was falling to pieces - in fact was fearful that there might have been a bit of a flood IF I had used the shower. The lavatory pan was so positioned that one had to put one's feet onto the floor of the shower cubicle and there were no hand supports to assist one ! (A bit of a struggle here). The carpet on the floor of the room was dirty, needed a deep steam clean. The lighting in the corridors was seconds late in activation so one was plunged into darkness, disconcerting especially when one has sight problems in low light / darkness. The lighting in the room was poor, unable to read 'clear print' book easily. Would perhaps need a head-lamp torch...!

Cons: Shower room not so clean (moisture on shower curtain), floor tiles joints not clean (black) Hot water very long to obtain Room price from booking.com more expensive than the price applied in the hotel (69€ instead of 64€) Breakfast price quite expensive for what you get
Pros: The evening meal was very good and the service superb
Cons: Tea / coffee making in room
Pros: Clean, well organized and the staff were very friendly. Great value.
Cons: There could be a Bit more selection at breakfast
