The hotel definitely looks impressive and looks promising. Some of the staff however is extremely rude and I think this is not appropriate for a so called 5 star hotel. I made my booking for the same day (booking confirmed at approx. 5pm) and I made it there at 1am - the receptionist looked like she really didn't want to be there and after I gave her my passport she told me that there is no reservation!!! After I showed her my confirmation letter from booking.com I was surprised that she just stared at me (like yeah, so..?) and simply said "you don't have a reservation". Oh! And she refused to speak English to me (I was speaking English to her). Finally she told me, very calmly that the hotel is fully booked and that's it!
I was forced to spend the night in another hotel (another 5 star which was horrible!!!) only for one night (thankfully). And next day in the morning I returned to Grand Hotel Pomorie to speak to a manager, in fear that they might charge me as "no show". Turns that the hotel had plenty of rooms available!!! As I had no choice since there is nothing else decent in town I stayed at the hotel for one night. Finally, the hotel is not bad but it's a shame that they allow such ridiculous things to happen. And also that they let such incredibly rude and ignorant staff to work there.
This is the best hotel on the Black Sea Coast.
Our accomodation in the hotel was more than excellent. The stuff was very polite the rooms were more than 5 stars room as for the spa everything was clean and beautiful the breakfast was very rich and you should also visit the atrium. Of course I will visit again this hotel.
I like the SPA facilities, as well as the cleanliness in the hotel. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
There is no consistancy in the services provided: based on your luck you might get a friendly staff or you might not. Same proocedure in the SPA is delivered in different manner by different therapists.
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. A really nice room, good bathroom with seperate shower. The whole hotel was very tastefully decorated. Spa facilities second to none.
We deliberately sat in the no smoking section in the restaurant and somebody was then allowed to smoke on the next table. When will they get that this is not acceptable.
Nice relaxing spa. Clean rooms, beside the beach
This is a russian hotel built primarily for russians. This is not a western run hotel
Facilities were great, the room was spacious and nicely furnished, balcony facing the sea. Hotel was extremely child-friendly.
In the course of the three days we stayed there, our room was not cleaned.
comfort, intimacy, excellent spa area.
poor English of the staff.
