Pros: We especially valued the welcome, quiet location, imaginative and sensitive conversion of the site, easy parking and flexibility over the dinner to accommodate dietary needs. The dinner, served and shared with our hosts on a common table with other guests was more like a relaxed dinner party - and the food was great. A genuinely exceptional place well worth its maximum score.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Yann and Havre were outstanding hosts. We arrived just before midnight and got lost. Yann drove a good 3 miles to come to where we were. Dinner with them and a few other guests was delicious and a great way to indulge in some French cuisine. We were travelling with two young kids who are fussy eaters. Yann made some pasta for them which they absolutely loved. The spa was also another hit with us. Breakfast was also nicely presented and the kids enjoyed the variety of pastries available every morning.
Cons: We would have loved some light refreshments in the apartment, such a coffees, teas and water. Maybe this is something that the owners can look to introduce in the future.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s lovely- great value for money and the proprietors are nice. I went for a family wedding - my relatives paid a lot more for local accommodation which was more expensive and no better But do arrive at the appointed time 5-6.30 or there maybe no one there. If there isn’t ask at the stables or the creperie - all owned by same people. Highly recommended
Cons: It was good
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location in a beautiful stone farm house. You could hear the horses whinnying at the property next door. The eclectic decor was lovely
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful surroundings, proximity to a number of lovely local towns and villages, great if visiting for a wedding at La Pommeraye. The hosts Vincent and Carole were wonderful, helpful and professional. Their crepe restaurant next door serves absolutely delicious food which we all loved. We had a great few days and the children loved looking at the horses next door. Highly recommend.
Cons: Shared toilet, however it was squeaky clean and we actually had it to ourselves as no one else was staying in our end of the property.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good communication with owners. Pleasant rural location, close to Caen port and a good stopping off point en route south. Breakfast was a little late starting, but was delicious, mostly home-produced, and nicely presented.
Cons: We arrived late at night from the afternoon ferry and the place was in darkness. The owner kindly waited up for us, but it was hard to find the entrance (and him) and in the dark we didn't see the notice downstairs about Wi-fi, and there was no offer of a welcome drink (although I snuck downstairs later and found a tea bag and a kettle).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unfortunately our commitments meant that we were unable to take advantage of breakfast as we had to leave too early on each morning. We did eat in the creperie and had a lovely evening!

Pros: The room was adequate for our needs.
Cons: The restaurant was closed, the book in time of 5 pm I’m just pleased that it was not raining as we had to sit for two hours despite me advising the we would arrive between 3 & 4. Pros: Very nice rural view and clean country air. Very welcoming hostess. We were allowed to use the private orangerie for a picnic tea. Good shared entertainment area.

Pros: This was an unexpected jewel in a most beautiful area of France. This is real rural farm country with beautiful landscapes, but limited services. The couple who own the property do not speak English, but have a cell phone application which she uses to translates between languages. Worked very well as a means to communicate between languages. Breakfast was very filling and were a great start to the day.
