8.8 Excellent
Pros: the whole set up with the golf course. golf buggies to breakfast was great fun plus we found a fab restaurant in the village
Cons: cant think of anything !
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The lobby area is clean and complimentary refreshments are a great addition. The building is beautiful and remote. The weather was excellent and I was able to keep the windows open and the fan on to keep the room cool. The cart golf cart assigned to the room is cool when you want to golf or go to the practice range down the road. Very private gated community.
Cons: No screens on the windows so the bugs were an issue if you had the lights on in the room. The ashtray outside was under my window and had to close my window every time a person would come for a smoke out back. The restaurant is very limited in breakfast menu with no dinner available. Its actually down the street as part of the golf course facility. you can walk or drive the provided gold cart
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This was a last minute booking on the way back from La Rochelle. The hotel is on the golf course and a little way away from the club house so when you check in you get keys to a golf buggy to drive around, the kids loved it. The Room was fantastic a massive bed, bath in the middle of the room and a great walk in shower. Everywhere was clean and the room was great. . The views from the room and from the clubhouse were brilliant, very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful houses on the golf course. The downstairs of the Hotel block had coffees, water and pastries so you could help yourself.
Cons: We arrived on Saturday night and the restaurant wasn't open, in fact many of the local places to eat werent open. Only one suggestion, as it was a suite on the top floor it was warm so we had the windows open. On a hot day you would want aircon!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room Breakfast Nature
8.8 Excellent
Pros: As the restaurant on site closed early we were provided a list of nearby restaurants. We had a verry good experience at restaurant "Le Boujou".
Cons: as we where expecting to arrive late we were given in advance the accesscode for the gate and the code for the hotel entrance. The gate dit open but the code for the Hotel didn't. So we had to call the emergency number and waited for 15min till help arrived. Verry friendly assistance :-)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel inside golf course of unbelievable beauty. Excellent hotel facilities... I guess someone must stay there!
Cons: Nothing... everything was very good.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this idyllic B&B. The pool is lovely and the garden is beautiful. It is very quiet and peaceful, which is what we were looking for after a day of travelling. The breakfast included fantastic baked croissant / pain au chocolat and brioche bread from the local bakery. Overall a lovely stay and we would go back in a heartbeat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is perfect on its own, but there is Nicole, the owner, whose personality makes it truly wonderful :)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent fresh pastries for breakfast and helpful staff
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Had to pay again at reception as receptionist insisted I had only reserved my room. Even though I had documentation saying from booking.com saying I’d paid. After him not believing us, we eventually paid again. Got to the room, logged on to my credit card and returned to reception to show the payment. He did refund it immediately then, but it would have been smoother if he had accepted the documentation (from booking.com) in the first place. I then had to check the money had been refunded.

Better than average chain hotel, clean, quiet room, comfortable bed & 2 good pillows. Good shower. Kettle & tea/coffee in room is a welcome addition. Good place for our dog too. Places for a meal very close (dog welcome in Italian restaurant). Breakfast is fine. Hotel is a good price when booked in advance. We have stayed here before (as well as others in this area) and will return here.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: the room was lovely, view and setting by the river quite lovely, our evening meal was fantastic. village was lovely, the bed was very comfy. pleasant walk to local bar. some excellent restaurants in surrounding villages on the river
Cons: the breakfast was expensive for what was offered, normally no more than 8 euros at the other hotels we stayed in on the trip. the shower equipment could do with updating. the loungers in the garden were broken (wheel missing and the other one split), could have been so much better as spent the day watching the barges on the river. restaurant menu was limited for stay of more than one night,

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room with excellent personable service by the host. Excellent breakfast served in the grand manor dinning room. Room was newly renovated.
Cons: I got there after dark and was unable to enjoy the view of the Seine.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A lovely old manor house with a spectacular view over the Seine. It’s a pity that the grounds and garden did not match the house - some basic maintenance would improve the whole vista. The room we stayed in was very clean, tidy and perhaps a little too minimalist, but it was comfortable and very acceptable. Breakfast was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed. Very good breakfast and very welcoming host. Also very obliging in finding some food with late arrival.
Cons: Signs to Reception.

Pros: The setting of the Manoir was magnificent with lovely views over the Seine, and a well landscaped garden.
Cons: The accommodation was not in the Manoir but in an annex behind. It was not clear when booking that we needed to order dinner in advance and so we had to go elsewhere to find a restaurant.

The fitness room allows you to relax before meeting friends on the restaurant terrace.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location for an overnight stay en route through France. Very comfortable room, very clean and good TV choice. Restaurant was closed but with plenty of choice within 5 mins walk this was not a problem. Staff on evening in bar great.
Cons: Only downside was the noisy water system. It woke us all at several times during the night with sound of water running through pipes adjacent to our room. It was very loud and lead to a disrupted nights sleep. Next time I will request an upstairs room, but will stop again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: My room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Check in and check out was very simple, quick and straightforward. Breakfast was varied, tasty and enjoyable. The availability of Gluten Free items for breakfast was noted. I liked the walk in shower as I prefer this to a shower over a bath. The bed was comfortable and spacious giving me a good nights sleep. I would certainly return to this hotel.
Cons: While the reception staff were quick and efficient I think they could be more friendly and engaging with guests. Even so, they were never rude. I liked the walk in shower in my room but noted the shower tray was completely smooth and slippery when wet which was made worse by the humped floor of the shower tray. I found this to be a little dangerous and had to hold on to the shower controls to avoid falling over.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable, nice bed, everything you needed in the bathroom overall very good.
Cons: The breakfast in general was very good although we wouldn’t have had the cold meats as they weren’t covered and the flies seemed to be having the best of them.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location was great for our needs, breakfast was ok.
Cons: We have stayed at this hotel on two separate nights and on both occasions the air conditioning would not work, the rooms were hot and stuffy and air con would have helped. The receptionists were not able to get it working on either occasion and left us with just fan which pushed out hot air. With the nearby road noise it was not great to have to have the window open. I suspect that the air conditioner is switched off to save money or is broken, which is not great when advertised as air conditioned.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good hotel for business. Fast WiFi, comfortable. recommend
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tasteful elegance, great location, outstanding staff, fabulous breakfast buffet wish our schedule would have allowed us to stay longer.

Pros: Location near to motorway
Cons: Polyester bedding, awful - very sweaty !! Also they are small rooms but too many bits of furniture Which is unnecessary and which takes up all the limited space round the bed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The reception staff very helpful and welcoming
Cons: The restaurant was closed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was fine and several restaurants open at the weekend in walking distance, as the one in the hotel is not. Good breakfast selection and lots of time to feast! They upgraded our room free for which we were very grateful as normal rooms are a bit snug. Plenty of parking and it felt safe. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff especially Alice, nothing too much trouble. Small bar for drinks if you want and free coffee and cakes available in reception. Plenty of hot water. Quiet but it was a Saturday night/Sunday morning in late March.
Cons: Bedside lighting too low, shower splashes outside cubicle as no curtain, but no big deal. Everything else was fine.

8.0 Excellent (143 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Pont-de-L'Arche, Hotel de la Tour is in the historical district, within a 10-minute drive of Lery-Poses Golf and Biotropica Zoological Conservatory. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.8 Good
Pros: Welcome was good. Staff very friendly.
Cons: Building isn't quite as it describes. It is somewhat tired. The bathroom was very basic... the room ok.... the rest of the building ok. Having done a lot of travelling around Europe I have stopped in nicer places for less money. The breakfast really isn't worth €9.50... 2 pieces of baguette, 1 croissant , 1 glass of orange juice and coffee. I think if the breakfast was included at the room price it would make the whole review much better. Location is directly opposite a campsite... not in itself a problem, but if, like me you are seduced by it being a riverside location, it isn't.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Bed was hard. Bathroom noises could be heard from the adjoining room.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Wi-Fi - OK
Cons: Room dirty and old (not same as on the Pictures), Bathroom way from the Basic Standard - dirty and old, Breakfast too expensive for two pices of bread (Crosount and bugiette) juce and caffe. I do not recomand.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Early breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Really quiet location. But the room walls were very thin, so we heard our neighbours take an early morning bath.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent just outside Rouen on the banks of the River Eure and close to restaurants, shops, etc. The bed was comfy and the room clean. Continental breakfast was good and staff quite friendly.
Cons: As an English traveller a kettle and tea facilities are always welcome. These were not supplied but having visited before we were prepared with our own travel kettle, etc.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location overlooking the Seine at the front and overshadowed by the cathedral and the old town wall at the rear. Clean and comfortable, we are very lucky to be offered a secure parking space for our little car but there is ample parking outside if you arrive during the day. Beautiful little town lovely chic restaurant in the square excellent value. Basic breakfast is optional
Cons: Walls are very thin and we could here the guy next door snoring very loudly. Bathroom was a shower over bath and a little jaded.

Cons: Bit noisy rooms
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location next to the river was great. The staff were very helpful.
Cons: Very good hotel, no problems.

7.5 Good
Cons: - poor WiFi connectivity
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A pleasant room with a good shower. Good value compared to others.
Cons: The room needs updating with a new carpet, heater that works and a sink that isn't partly choked. None of these items spoiled our stay but could have made it better.
5.3 Okay
Pros: friendly staff and good restaurant
Cons: slightly difficult to find if used as we did, as a transit stop , quite difficult to get back on motorway, as turn offs are not well sign posted and at extremely busy junction in city centre not for feight hearted!
7.6 Good
Pros: The staff were helpful in that we booked a room for 3 over the internet for our children and arrived having driven across france for 10 hours to be told they didnt have a room for 3 available, and that they often had problems with internet booking. They pulled a mattress into the room to accomodate.
Cons: Dreadful internet booking service.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very clean and fresh. Good online price.
Cons: Reception staff spoke very little English. Did not get what I was promised on the website, namely that I could have an extra bed in the room for free for my 9 yr old child. Hotel staff had no idea about this despite my request clearly shown on my booking invoice and the information that this was indeed the case.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very helpful and sympathetic receptionist. Very clean rooms. Free wifi.
5.3 Okay
Pros: very quiet and close to vital amenities
Cons: the three bedroom room was inadequately prepared for a third person no pillow or duvet . also had to set up the bed myself and the room was a standard size so third bed blocked access to teh fromt door or bathroom yes I booked this hotel via a representative who had asked the hotel or understood from teh hotel tha the rooms would be adjoining and next to each other. When I got there this was not so and the rooms were only on top of each other i.e you had to walk 100 metres to the stairs and walk back so as such were not next to each other
4.8 Okay
Pros:
Cons: the room was smelly, fag smoke, the air conditioning system had a musty smell
5.2 Okay
Pros: Nice room, clean
Cons: the scent of previous smokers in the room
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Not a lot.
Cons: Only one member of staff was friendly (morning member of staff), The room was dirty with cigarette end in bin. Single bed was broken, also the bedside table broken, We had a connecting door in our room which was not locked and asked a member of staff to check it but was not checked. Have stayed at Campanielle all over Europe and this was by far the worst. Will not be staying at these hotels again

Cons: Broken window shutter. Restaurant was closed with little notice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with very comfortable beds. Shower facilities very good. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection. The location is good for onward travel. I have used Campanile a lot over the years and this was the best I’ve stayed in.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was good for our ongoing journey and the bed was very comfortable. We travelled with our dogs and the room and hotel grounds were good for them. Parking on site was good and the car park was locked at night.
Cons: I wrote and asked for disabled facilities for my wife and despite the hotel saying this would be the case the room had no disabled facilities. The restaurant was closed on the night we stayed which we were not told would be the case when booking. Breakfast was poor.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff really friendly and helpful. Nice quiet location.
Cons: Breakfast finished at 9am on Monday morning, would have liked it a little later as not in a rush to get away.

Pros: Breakfast was worthwhile doing and good grounds for children to stretch their legs. Excellent little play area near reception. Parking convenient and secure.
Cons: Room a little too hot and cot / sofa bed not set up on arrival. Cotbed difficult to put up. Would be good to have a children’s play area outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel, amazing location for our trip and wonderful facilities. The sun was shining and we ate breakfast outside by the pool which was great.
7.5 Good
Pros: We had a suite in 80thy style. Very consistently executed. Not only the phone and the furniture in orange, a lava lamp an a commodore computer but even magazines from 1982
7.5 Good
Pros: A great stop during a 2-day drive: family rooms, swimming pool, outdoor games and a kids corner with toys. On top of that a nice BBQ during summer on Friday and Saturday. Great to start the holidays or (in our case) to prolong them for 1 more night.
Cons: The area is not very inspiring, in a suburb of Rouen. There are a lot of dogs.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Disappointed by the hotel overall. The room did not match what I would expect from Novotel. It felt like an old hotel that was took over by Novotel but got no update.
Cons: The room and breakfast were a let down.
7.5 Good
Cons: Rooms are way too hot to sleep.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room comfortable and clean.
Cons: The restaurant in the evening. Poor food choice and very slow service of taking order and delivery of food. Waited 1hr 20 for two cold salads to be prepared.
5.8 Okay
Cons: The food was dreadful. We had lunch but couldn’t eat it
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel surrounded by woodland

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Horrible
Cons: Being in time for breakfast and having few croissant left with butter is a shame. Rooms: stains everywhere: table, floor, above bed where you can keep a book or a phone. Toilets: nightmare... "shimmel" all over the place. Smell of the rooms, ahhhhhh!
7.5 Good
Pros: All in d,b&b is very good value. Friendly staff. Reasonable choice on menu.
6.8 Good
Pros: Clean. Comfortable. Convenient Good breakfast.
6.8 Good
Pros: Not a lot!
Cons: Hotel has recently changed hands. No restaurant available on the Sunday evening and we were not notified of this. After 10 hours in the car, we really did not want to drive anywhere else. Problem with our door handle. We were locked in for a while. Staff member came from reception and he was also locked in with us. He changed our room, but toilet seat broken in that room. Breakfast was not the standard of the previous owners. Very disappointed all in all. We like to stay here on our way down France for ease of access to main roads, but will seriously have to think again.
7.0 Good
Cons: The menu for dinner was very reduced. It would have been better if this had been made clear and we would have the choice to go elsewhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic stay - perfect location for us who are travelling. The staff were helpful and the rooms really clean and quiet. The staff spoke excellent english which supported our really bad French!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The sole member of staff was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Also, we have stayed at this hotel (Campanile, Inter and now Originals) many times as the location is ideal for our journey to South West France. And lastly, parking is always easy and convenient.
Cons: The main dining room could do with a blind at the window as the evening sun is too hot for comfort!
8.0 Excellent
Cons: No breakfast available. Staff member didn't turn up. Lady in hotel next door called manager and offered us breakfast until he arrived. He did offer a discount on next booking. Whole episode was rather a bad start to our day.
7.0 Good
Pros: Food was good basic food
Cons: The location in the middle of an industrial estate - metal recycling opposite

7.0 Good
Pros: AC on the rooms
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Have to think about this one
Cons: Welcomed to a lovely reception and taken to the double doors and put into prison. Room was dark chipped paint and felt like a prison room. Could have stayed in a Formula 1 for half the price. Budget is budget and they let you know when you get there. Not stay again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A basic hotel deal in a convenient location for an overnight stop-over. Car park is secured by a large remote controlled gate so better than one where anybody can get in.
Cons: A chair rather than a stool would have been more comfortable when using the table provided.
7.5 Good
Pros: Easy check in and plenty of parking. Bar on site. Ideal overnight stop on main route through Rouen
Cons: Main ibis was very tidy, but the budget wing smelt a bit musty and damp
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The confort of the bed
Cons: It was good nothing not to like
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Price
Cons: Ibis "Budget" doesn't have to be terrible, right? But we had washed but still dirty linen and someone's hair on the bathroom floor. I am utterly disappointed with this hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Restaurants nearby and great location to get on and off ferry stays for Dieppe. Spacious room and spacious bathroom
Cons: Parking was overcrowded due to their being too many motorcycles. Some motorcycles took one space each. This needs to be addressed !!!
7.0 Good
Pros: Away from the small, busy city center, situated in a forest .. generous parking .. with a few restaurants situated at walking distance
Cons: Very thin walls ... the type of room doors that slam no matter how hard you try not to... very, very basic breakfast (priced the same as the one at Ibis Styles - much more generous) ...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Regarding the quiet room...is wasn’t that quiet, but only due to the nearby customers.
Cons: Everything was ok
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well designed shower. Next door to McDonalds and a petrol station. Staff helpful and friendly.
Cons: An exceptionaly hot evening and no air conditioning made it difficult to sleep. If a bug screen was on the window it could have been left open.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for a stopover and well placed for visiting Rouen. Great breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff. We have used this hotel several times.
Cons: Flies buzzing around the food at breakfast time.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: V clean, reception manned at 2.30 am and found easily - sat nav took us straight to it. Good value for money. Ideal for overnight stop on long drive to or from channel ports.
7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast was good value. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: No tea & coffee facilities in the room. The room was functional but quite small without any style. No restaurant, which was suprising & disappointing.
7.0 Good
Pros: We chose this hotel for its location - opposite to the Zenith Rouen. Qute familiar with Ibis hotels, this is an economoy version of the chain. Rooms were functional but a little cramped, with little light and veryy basic.
Cons: Location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed before and the hotel is basic but comfortable so ideal for an overnight stop. On this occasion, we were allocated an extra sized room which was great as we had loads of space and a large wet room. When travelling, it always helps to know that there is secure gated parking at the hotel.
Cons: Having visited before, I thought that I knew my way from the local motorway. Unfortunately, there is massive building work going on it the area and the frontage is not accessible so you have to drive round the back roads to the car park. You definitely need a satnav to do this and it would have been helpful if the hotel had warned us of the situation before we got caught up in the road closures on the way in.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: nothing
Cons: all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and breakfast. Also very quiet
Cons: Nothing
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: it was alot more basic than i expected. the rooms were small and not well presented .
Cons: everything was so old and basic
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Charged for breakfast even though I had booked on a pre paid room only basis. This was refunded at reception on request. I wonder if its policy to try hoping you don't notice until its too late.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Room was very small without Air con during a hot spell, the bed felt like we slept on a sheet of plastic.

Cons: No soap and not enough hangers in the bathroom
4.5 Okay

7.5 Good
Pros: It was a good place to stop on our way north.
6.3 Good
Pros: The breaksfast bar had a good selection and was good value
Cons: The location was very industrial and run down
4.5 Okay
Pros: Basic. Rooms were brightly lit and recently renovated but bathroom was tired. The location reflected the pricing. Affordable but don’t pull in too much before planning to sleep.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was better than expected with fresh and varied bread/croissants, and a good selection of drink, teas coffee and juices.
Cons: The airconditioning was not working, I asked the reception who at first said that it hadn’t been turned on, because “no one expects warm weather....”. Afterwards I decided to cancel my booking, only to be told that a technician was on the way to fix the problem and should be here within a couple of hours, so I decided to give the hotel a chance. Opening the window wasn’t really an option, it was about 30c and, not only that, there were mosquitos waiting to get in..... However at 2.00am the aircon was still only blowing warm air out! Didn’t get much comfortable sleep then. At breakfast I asked reception about the lack of aircon and her promise that someone was supposed to fix the problem, she said that the aircon worked in reception, and in a couple of rooms - as if that was acceptable! I had already decide not to extend my stay, but to sleep elsewhere on Sunday night!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Being able to check in near midnight. The clean, crisp white duvet and sheets. Breakfast is good value - continental with tasty yogurt and decent coffee. Crockery, glasses and cutlery very clean
Cons: This is a budget hotel chain that never fails to disappoint and so keeps my trade.
