very good value,a little way to the city centre
Inconvenient dangerous parking
I just stayed for only one night but I liked very much breakfast...great choice and offer. parking for guests should be included in the price
Helpful staff, located next to the showgrounds of Padova, restaurants in the vicinity.
The hotel was beautiful, stylish and modern. The food (we only ate breakfast there) was of an excellent standard and the views from the dining room were stunning. The staff were very helpful, they spoke good english and could give us helpful advice on trains to Venice, etc. The hotel was well situated for the train station (Venice just 30 minutes away and train travel cheap and efficient) and Padova is a beautiful city. NO
I like best the comfort of the room and the very nice breakfast. The man at the reception is not friendly at all.
Good and confortable hotel next to Padova Exibition Center (PadovaFiere). Breakfast not so good: scrambled eggs cold and no orange juice. No place to park inside probably because hotel was fully booked.
brandy new hotel, very good service; localization satisfatory for tourism
Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms It was not possible to claim NH points as they did not have the system yet to register the points
everything! not applicable
The hotel was new and the room was very comfortable. There was unsufficient light in the halls outside the rooms, but the rooms had good lighting.
The hotel offered as much comfort as it made me feel like at home. Moreover, it's situated very close to the railway station (15min) as well as to the city centre (25min), for those who would like to take a bus, there is a bus stop almost in front of the hotel. The staff was very helpful, room was clean and nicely furnished, I couldn't imagine better place to stay in Padova!
Nice, clean and nice personel. Will be back next year.No doubt.
The price was good. We couldn't find a restaurant near to eat at 9 45 pm
The health spa and secure parking made the hotel for the family. There is no dining facility: a taxi or car is essential.
Gay-friendly. No issues. No bath - quite common for Italy - but perhaps could have been included for a four star hotel.
the design there was some confusion regarding additional beds for our children
A modern hotel with excellent facilities and services. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was really good. Location-wise, it was not the most convenient place to stay for a visit to the city centre - but still within walking distance. Price is very competitive - a value for money
Very nice staff, they gave us very helpful direction through they city.
Big rooms, very clean hotel, breakfast is very good Swimming pool must work after eight o clock
comfortable bed, spacious room and bath, good shower dislike using TV as internet, the remote makes an awkward mouse. Generally prefer discreet internet stations in lobby
Hotel in good condition with large rooms near to Padova. OK if you are by car. Extremly loud. Student excursion in the same hotel on the same flat. They place family with small children on the same flat between rooms with students.Unacceptable. None could sleep. We were still up at 1.30 in the morning..
I didn't like the fact that is was far far away from the city and the breakfast was very poor for a 4 stars hotel.
It is clean, nice and comfortable. And the price is convinient within the quality. Just it was pity that 2 days from 3 days of our staying the restaurant was closed.
tidy room, sufficient car parking place. MINOR problems like noises from a next-door baby and one sleepy reception that gives no feedback to a friendly "Ciao" at mid-night.
we had a room on the fifth floor , and the supply ( or pressure ) of hot water was very poor
Proximity to motorways, the shuttle bvus to the station and proximity to the city
Everything was new and clean. Reception desk staff extremely helpful. Too far from Padova tourism sites.
Good standard the restorant wasn't working during the holidays
Cleaness, Location, confort
location is very good. Internet conection is good.
Proximity to station Not told upon arrival that the couple we travelled with had got upgraded to a suite, despite being the main name on the booking. Bit of a surprise to find this out from the said couple at dinner the first night!!!!
The single bed was nice & firm; the large bathroom was very clean; and the towels lush & large. The breakfast buffet on the weekend was very generous but less so on the Tuesday when I checked out (perhaps it's dependent upon the number of guests in the hotel). The shower curtain, which I believe was supposed to create a circle around the person, did not function properly and was useless.
Padova was an interesting city and we enjoyed exploring it. We took 3 trips into Venice on the train. The hotel location was better than excellent. We are very happy we stayed at the Hotel Grand'Italia and not in Venice. We will recommend this hotal to our friends when they go to Venice.
A good hotel opposite the railway station. Good breakfast in a very nice room. Everything was ok.
Very close to station, polite staff, good breakfast selection, large bed, clean. The shower head didn't really work, so had to squat in the bath. Not what you really expect with 4 star hotel.
Breakfast was good, room was clean, overall good experience. We reserved 3 nights but the front desk turned our key off each day. When I asked about why this was happening, the clerk after looking at our info on his computer asked me when I was checking out, evidently, he/someone was expecting us to check out each day.
Convenience to train station sketchy part of town
Good location opposite rail station for Venice. Easy walking distance to tourist attractions, Quiet, comfortable room, good bathroom. Very good buffet breakfast. Helpful receptionists. Secure car parking across the road. Internet was free in room. Car parking cost 14€ a day extra. No evening restaurant facility in the hotel. Nearby only choice we found was a scruffy Chinese (though the food was good) or McDonalds.
Location, location, location! It was literally right outside the train station beside the McDonald's. Breakfast was part of the deal and a really nice spread. The staff were not very friendly.
Easy access to sites.
The hotel lobby was filled with beautiful antique furniture. The food at dinner was excellent. The pool called "Alaska" was 28 degrees C and perfet for doing lap swimming.
Relaxing, luxurious hotel near to Padua for sightseeing. Very good spa and other amenities Restaurant service hurried but effective. Takes 24 hours to know your way around
Everything was the best
good food pay 40 Euro for swimming in the pool. This must be inclusif in the room cost. Bad cushion with plastic material. Furniture in the room is poor for *****
Enjoyed the gardens and pools on the hotel property The quality of the food was not up to the standards of the rest of the hotel and the wait staff was rushed.
The hotel is very good for the price I paid, considering the high prices for hotels in Italy. The breakfast was great and the room was very comfortable.
Rooms too cold, not possible to set up the temperature properly. Some of the staff unfriendly. We have been waked up during the night by the receptionist asking our passport cause he made an error during registration!!!!
The staff was helpful, room was clean, this is a newly built hotel.
Everything great! Water spilling on the floor of the bathroom between the plastic tent and the bathtub, but not a big deal! just a pool of water on the bath floor!
It was quaint. It was pretty small, but it served a purpose. We were only there to sleep anyways. Very clean. It's close to the train station, about 20 minutes by foot. The guy at the desk is very helpful, not so much for the woman. She seems she's not very happy about her job or caring about taking care of the clients. They did not advise me that they turn on the air conditioning themselves from their computer at the desk for my room. They don't tell you that you need to use the same swipe card for entry to turn on your lights in the room, which is located by the door inside.
It was worth of money because of the discount; easy way to get to the hotel from the motorway, car park. Unfriendly staff (receptionists - they did not try to do the best to give us appropriate information, difficulties with English language), only breakfast service, later the restaurant was closed, neighbourhood with noisy railway, bus wash or something like that... Looking generally the hotel isn't worth of 4 stars!
modern hotel, parking, internet, nice room, free drink, 30min from center by foot.
The hotel staff was efficient, the hotel was easy to find, it offered both outside and underground parking, the rooms were clean, air conditioned and equipped with all business facilities, and the breakfast was diverse.
clean rooms bad location difficult to find reception staff advised me a taxi to the city center, cost would be max. 7 €, in realty taxi called by them costed 15 € (in athe afternoon).
it is not available to pay in cash at evening arrival.
comfort, cleanliness no wireless internet connection
The room was comfortable and the surounding pleasant. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm. There was opportunity for walking and shopping. There was less information about the surpunding available then was expected. It was easy to get lost and we did not have information on how to get there.
the food the service is too stiff and stressed. rooms can not be 5 stars
As usual: home from home.
superb food and very courteous staff, also swimming pool was paradise
5 star hotel with 5 star quality in service and restaurant. Hidden cost of doctor exam, use of sauna and haman and bathrobe. Otherwise, the hotel is top notch.
This is not 5 star hotel. Hidden cost sauna.
the atmosphere of the hotel was so nice and easygoing/Iliked the food the room and the nice pool
in the moment,nothing more
Enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff...clean, clean, clean...wonderful. Location of hotel, easy to drive to ferry from hotel. Some of the buildings while driving to the hotel looked run-down and forgotten about...
The hotel was exquisit. The whole experience was wonderful. The location was perfect, staff were willing to please, decor, comfort, cleanliness and amenities exceptional.
Incredibly renovated villa - kept all of the charm of the original building with wonderfully updated amenities. Nothing.
The beautiful gardens and the very friendly and obliging staff.
Staff was very helpful and spoke English. The hotel and grounds are very beatiful. I am a frequent traveler and I often there is at least one thing in a hotel that could be improve. I can't think of a thing I didn't like about this hotel.
this is a great Villa with beautiful rooms and excellent staff
beautiful hotel and grounds and lovely staff the location is a 40 minute bus ride from Venice, which was part of the experience but would not suit those who wish to be in the centre
The stuff are always good feeling, everyboday is kind, quickly response to ask something. But this time I found the cleaning is not good. My room's floor is always same dust even if after the room cleaning. At the same time table cloth and seets are completely clean. The room plan is not good. Bofore I spend a room was perfect big windows and big balkony, but in this time the window is a small but toilet place with same size window. And without balkny. It's pity for guests.
location great, right in the center. Nice staff. Large gardens, nice SPA pool. I benefit from a large room so it was great. Room confortable. At this period, this is an empty space in an empty city. price for lunch charged on the bill with no information on what we paid for this amount of money. Mistakes on the bill.Missing a kettle in the room for this hotel rate.
Nice location and helpful staff This hotel came up as an option when I typed in looking for a hotel in Milano Italy. It turned out to be 2 1/2 hours to the east of Milano. This was a hassle and extra expense and time after a long day. I was a bit angry. The map does not reveal the issue
Superbly designed and styled modern room and hotel. Very large room, Great bed, sheets and bathroom. In that sense it is a luxury hotel. We The restaurant is great, one of the best meals we had in Italy. Staff is very nice and friendly. Didn't go to Venice but there is a bus station in front of the hotel. Highly recommend, will be happy to stay again! The hotel is on a busy road but the windows perfectly insulate any noise so it's not a problem at all. It's a very nice rural area, a nice canal in front of the hotel, picnic area, etc.
the location it looked like I was a guest of 2nd cathegory
The position with views on the lagoon is simply perfect, the building itself is really nice, old renovated with taste. There were few hairs on the bathroom floor. Seen the price and category of the hotel I expected a slection of freshly baked croissants and viennoiserie, but the croissants were industrial and probably defrozen.
Very comfortable hotel and really enjoyed free bar snacks in bar attached to hotel. Also not too far to travel to get to motor racing circuit at Adria where DTM racing was taking place. Very difficult to locate hotel when we arrived in Chioggia.Signs for hotel had us going round in circles and street where hotel was located was closed to traffic. Also very limited car parking at hotel anf 15 minute walk to nearest public parking.
A truly gorgeous hotel - set on the edge of the canals in Chioggia - and well worth the visit.
location was excellent, close to bars & resteraunts and easy access to Venice centre nothing
location is wonderful in a 4 star hotel you are not supposed to pay a fee of €15 to use the sauna
Splendid location on the seafront in the old town of Chioggia. Excellent quality and decor but very reasonably priced. Perfectly located to visit Venice with a cheap (14 euro roundtrip) but splendid one hour boat ride. Highly recommended. Air conditioning in our room was quite weak
Views and location ot the city. The choice of resturants was lovely. Price.
Excellent Staff. Service provided was great. Excellent Food and Wine.Memorable place. If you have the opportunity try the SPA. Highly reccomended hotel.
Very difficult to find.
The swimming pool and steam room were fantastic! Lovely warm (termal?) water, which made swimming in the out-door pool a real treat, despite the rain and cold weather. 1. It was incredibly warm in the hotel (halls, rooms, etc) - waste of electricity. 2. A lot of information (about swimming pool, spa treatments) was only available in Italian and German, not in English.
I had a fantastic and relaxing stay.
deep pool , very comfortable water temperature, quiet room, friendly personal at the desk, in dinner room not sufficient chairs and too little space for relaxing near the pool
Excellent family-run hotel, very clean and tidy, spacious rooms with balcony, excellent swimming pools - very clean. Very nice atmosphere. Very close to the railway station - less than our from Venice. Highly recommended for stay in Venetto region if you travel to Venice, Vicenza, Padova or Verona.
Big room Very old fashioned hotel and people. Must be recondicionated. Bad quality breakfast.
Excellent reception staff
Nulla Very small room, it could just fit one single bed. There was no privacy, there was one wooden door to separate from the room aside. After the shower the bathroom was flooded and I had to clean with towels available. The staff didn't care less of my request of help. Do not go there, it is money wasted.
