Offering free Wi-Fi throughout and a restaurant, the family-run La Vecchia Quercia is located in a quiet area, in Selci. Guests can relax in the furnished garden. The rustic-style rooms come with a TV and DVD player. Each has a private bathroom equipped with a hairdryer. The restaurant serves local specialities, as well as Italian cuisine. An Italian breakfast, with hot drinks, juice and pastries is served daily. Torri in Sabina is a 10-minute drive from La Vecchia Quercia. Rome is 37.3 miles away.
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming staff, who went out of their way to prepare us a full dinner (we were the only guests on a Monday night) Clean large rooms, some of which have lovely views over hills...

Cons: Unfortunately the restaurant was not open when we arrived as we would have loved to enjoy the fantastic view.
Pros: Wonderful staff, comfortable bed, great food and warm fluffy towels every morning! Very reasonable price as well.
Cons: The hotel is about 7 km up a winding country road that at times is barely 2 car widths wide. It is a bit difficult when you arrive after dark as there are not many signs. Without the gps I am not sure I would have found it.
Cons: a 4 stars hotel that does not have an open kitchen at 21.45 is ridiculous
Pros: Perfect for a sleepover during a journey through Italy. Fast check-in/out and the personnel was competent and friendly.

Cons: - noisy aircon - restaurant was closed on a friday night and not much around - bathroom a little old for a 4 star
Cons: Staff is unkind. Advertised restaurant is closed. Wallpaper was scrapped, TV not functional, dusting dubious.
Take in the views from the rooftop terrace when you stay at Il Casale di Max. Guests can get a morning swim in at the outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. There's a garden, and rooms offer balconies and DVD players.
