Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is nice an quiet with an amazing park and beautiful pool. I would recommend to stay in the old and original part of the hotel which has more flair than the part where the conference centre is built in. You have to be early to get your breakfast and it was not possible to serve it outside on the beautiful terrasse. A pity as the rest of the service is quite nice.
Nice swimming pool. We got 2 Jr. suites and they offered a lot of space. Reception personnel was very good. Not much to do in direct surroundings. Difficult to find with our gps system (you should not choose Treviso as city since Treviso has a similar named road). Prices for drinks around the swimming pool are quite high. Selection at breakfast buffet is limited.
high comfort; very quiet location; excellent base for discovering the charming Marca Trevigiana restaurant staff not well organized
Great pool and grounds, fabulous food and service in the restaurant.
Room and gardens
Silence, landscape and comfort
Decor a bit dated. air conditioning not ver eficient
bedroom should be refurbished. staff very helpful. location good.
Staff personell Old structure that remains too old but not classic!
Excellent position next to the center and the train station. Price is right for a 2 stars hotel in the city centre, the way it should be rated It used to be a luxury hotel many years ago and the lobby still looks nice, but the rooms are just "old" now. Furniture needs an urgent restoration. Breakfast is very poor.
I loved the faded elegance and the location. I will recommend it to anyone I know who is planning on taking a trip to Treviso/Venice. The restaurant around the back - recommended by hotel staff - was fabulous. Some members of the group were woken very early by a lot of noise from bin collection - I didn't hear much personally.
Location, location, location. First bus stop after the railway station (if you can force your way out - make sure you stand in the middle of the bus!). Some great restaurants and cafes nearby. Our favorite was the restaurant near the Carlton hotel - expensive but very good. The cafe between the Continental and the station was friendly. The hotel itself was good value. Mirrors everywhere, shiny parquet floors and a fantastic shoe cleaning machine The barman evenings only) is a star. Our room was spotless and the largest, most comfortable bed we have ever had in a hotel; the breakfast was more than adequate. Reception very friendly and helpful. It takes about 3/4 hour to get into Venice and on to the Vaporetto. Treviso itself is worth at least a day. The tourist office is not apparently signposted apart from 10 metres away, but they have some pretty maps and is worth finding on the first day rather than the last as we did. The market, Tuesdays and Saturdays is very extensive. We really got a taste for the local fizzy white wine, Prosecco. Having brought some back I would say that it tasted much better outside in the warm Italian evening sunshine than looking at the grey clouds scudding overhead. Look out for the free organ concerts. Air Conditioning worked but was very noisy - I suppose it drowned out any traffic noise. Don't advise taking the bus back to the airport at school home time (13:00). Splash out on a taxi, it would be well worth it.
It was very convenient for train and bus stations and also for the centre of Treviso.
Clean bed linen every day, polite friendly staff, location very handy for Treviso itself and for visiting other cities eg Venieza Padova Vicenza. Rooms a little warn, but still execellent value.
An excellent location with the added bonus of the airport bus drop point only 500 yrds approx from the hotel door. Staff very friendly and helpful Hotel is a little dated but that is well out weighted by the excellent location and price
Fantastic location next to railway station and close to Treviso centre. Nothing to dislike
Located near to airport, and on a direct route to Venice, the prime purpose of the visit. Flexible restaurant, al la carte, or pizza options. Friendly and helpful staff. Room too hot, unable to adjust temperature.
breakfast swimming pool opening times, lady working at the spa entrance, the hotel is quite old and does not seem so on the website
This large and comfortable hotel is situated a few miles from Treviso airport and an ideal place to stay before catching a flight so long as you have transport to get to the airport which is about a ten minutes drive away by car. The hotel is situated close to a main road which is fairly busy around rush hour and it lays within the confines of a business estate.
the hotel was clean and very well presented, the staff were helpful, knowlegable and curtious. The local train station to take you to Venice was only a 10min walk or 2min car journey away therefore the hotel is well located for tourists.
restaurant, very good!!!
Reception Staff were brilliant. This is a perfect hotel for business as a base for visiting Venice. Treviso town centre is 15 minutes a way by car and then 30 minutes by train to Venice so not a bad location fo tourists. Treviso centre is clean and safe and relaxed. Wish we could have spent more time there. Ample parking at the hotel. Everything was excellent
Between Airport and Railway station Air conditioning can be noisy
the spa part of the hotel.yhe atmosphere was very relaxing
The hotel was excellent. The staff were very helpful and everyone spoke good english (we don't speak any italian) The room rate was very good for this standard of hotel(4 star) and the prices for food and drinks was very reasonable. Will definitely stay at this hotel again when we next visit this area.
the food and the staff both excellant
The staff, namely Alex, was extremely helpful and friendly -- we really enjoyed his hospitality and quirky sense of humour. It is a beautiful property in the quiet countryside
the confort and the peace of this hotel i'm tring to find but i don't think there is something
Neat clean place - if you do not have a car (or cannot drive in Italy because you are from the Commonwealth and drive on the left side) the bus stops on the Venice-Treviso highway are right in front of the hotel. However if you travel by train be prepared to walk 1.5km from the station to the hotel as there are no taxis in Preganziol.
style of the hotel
A perfect place to stay at to visit Venice. The mentioned bus is indeed very good way to get to Venice. Next time we will choose the same place.
Good location. Convenient connection to Venice (unfortunately the last bus from Venice in the direction of the hotel only leaves at 21-00) The hotel didn't have any water for 2 hours in the morning prior to our departure. But still insisted that we leave the room sharply, which was a dissapointment as we didn't have enought time to get ready.
The ambiance and setting at the Park Hotel Villa Vicini is excellent: It is an elegant hotel in a beautiful setting and full of Old World charm. Its is an easy and convenient bus ride into Venice, with a bus stop located literally across the street. Unfortunately, our room was miserably hot even though it was the very end of April, and what passes for an air conditioner blew tepid air at best. Opening the window resulted in horrendous traffic noise from the very busy road that runs by the hotel.
The hotel was very easy to find and the staff were friendly and helpful. The man in Reception (sorry I forget his name) recommended an excellent restaurant within walking distance in Preganziol called Ristorante El Patio.
The facilities and the staff at the hotel were good. The location is very good, totally calm but bit away from cities.
Very friendly reception staff, beautiful location, easy bus ride to Venice (€5,- for return ticket) and a good road connection to visit Treviso by car. Good internet connection by cable. (Wifi is not available in all rooms.) Airconditioning is not able to cool the rooms enough at outside air temperatures of >30 degrees Celcius. The water temperature in the shower was fluctuating between warm and cold. Both these issues could unfortunately not be addressed.
I've been traveling to Treviso area for almost 7 years now, at least 5 times a year. I've stayed everywhere. This hotel is by far the best option. Clean, great beds, great showers, very good restaurant and bar option. Very good location and easy access. Parking outside is free, Wi-Fi is good, overall an excellent choice for the money.
The sheer comfort and luxury of the hotel and the bedroom and a great selection on the menu for breakfast. bedroom was fabulous but much too warm.
Perfect Hotel , cant ask for anything better. The best part was the shuttle facility .
Very comfortable, quiet, clean and in order.
loved the hotel it was spotless, staff especially in the restaraunt were fantastic abit far away from the main town
The hotel staff was very helpful. The free shuttle from and back to the Treviso airport was a bonus and very much appreciated by us. The breakfast was very nice and had a large assortment of items. Our room was very nice and the bathroom and shower were big for Europe. My favorite part of the hotel was the very comfortable bed and bedding. I had a great night's sleep!
Room and bathroom were great, hotel bar was good, with nice "tapas" with drinks
Everything was great about this hotel. The bed was so so comfortable. The employees were extremely helpful and the shuttle service was great. Good location only if you want to be in Treviso (close to airport)
First class accomodation, the reputation of this new hotel continues to grow, deservedly so. We would definitely stay there again. Excellent shuttle arrangements to compensate for the slightly remote location.Staff very friendly and helpful
Helpfull staff. Arrived late from the airport- booking form ready and waiting - thought that we had been taken to the wrong hotel as much better than the price suggested. Got the shuttle bus to the station - free - easy journey into Venice = less that 5 Euros for two, Wonderful start to a holiay
Everything really - friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, good food, great pool and nice location ! Ten out of ten!
pool great gym great.management very helpful .could avail of hotel's own bikes if needed bar facilities not great only bottled beer and a bit pricey
Friendly, hospitable reception. Comfortable room. Free bicycle facility. Good, if slightly expensive, restaurant next door. Bus stop just across the road for access into town. Nothing - everything was fine.
Although we only stayed one night everything about the hotel was first class from very helpful staff to co operation by restaurant staff on the saturday after the match to ensure we ate before taxi arrived. Nothing
Extremely helpful and pleasant team. They went out of their way to accomodate our needs. No
The Staff were very friendly/ helpful, printed of maps of the area/knew travel times
Sauna It needs some refurbishment and attention to detail (rg bathroom basin plug)
The staff were friendly and helpful
went to see my rugby team
Its convenience to excellent public transport - trains and buses. The pleasantness of the staff and especially the trouble that Barbara in reception whent to in order to get us very detailed tourist information The breakfast was of poor quality in our opinion.
Central location, clean and modern facilities.
It was near the city and the railway station. We had a nice and clean room with good breakfast. Nothing spesial.
Location is very good.Servis in room is good. The is uncomfortable because is very very strong. Warm water is not suficient.
The staff was very helpful, even in cases of limited English. We had to hurry out the following morning and did not fully partake of the breakfast buffet, but it was extensive in choices. Also, the locale proved to be a great one for a Sat. night visit. Very lively with crowds strolling through pedestrian-friendly streets and filling the cafes.
Conveniently located to the train station and shopping or walking. The room was in the older building wing of the hotel and was quite infested with ants.
It's location was excellent. Very comfortable for a short stay. The view from the window.
the hotel is in a central area close to treviso center, the room was huge and very clean. the staff was friendly and we enjoyed staying there
Great room, spacious and clean. Excellent location close to the train station and close to Treviso centre.
The full breakfast in the morning was very nice and the rooms were very clean and large. The shuttle was quite costly - like 15 euros. and when the shuttle wasnt available, the taxis were 20 euros
The hotel is located close to Treviso Airport and to the city of Treviso both of which can be reached by car within minutes. Underground car park. Hotel rooms are very comfortable. Staff is friendly. Without a car the hotel can only be reached by taxi. The shuttle service to the airport (which is not included in the hotel rate) does not operate on holidays. Somehow confusional staff. Two days boooked, received an in room call after the first day at 12:05h asking, when the room was going to be cleared. A room service of a meal was charged to the room although it had not been received. All of which was cleared with friendly hotel staff, nevertheless not very professional for a four star hotel.
Very helpful and friendly staff
The location details on the hotel site are not correct, these need to be updated.
The room was lovely - as was the entire hotel. Staff very friendly and so happy to provide information and help. Loved it all
restaurant food is good. really pooor restaurant for aspect but rate food/€ good. quality better then usual. good selection on wine garage is not well designed and difficult to park
We used the hotel for an overnight stop before catching a flight from Treviso. The location is rather a long way from Treviso but they do have an excellent shuttle service. The hotel was very comfortable and well run and we had an excellent dinner with very nice staff....fantastic tirumisu! Good breakfast. It is out of Treviso in a village.
The hotel has two wings, one old and one restored new wing. The new one is very nice and modern. The old one is not recommended ,it does not suit a 4 star hotel. We had to upgrade our room to the new wing and added significant amount of money. You need a car in order to get around, the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere.
really beautiful confortable nice clean place, good restaurant maybe a lift from underground garage
We had been travelling all day, got lost and arrived late, but the receptionist gave us an upgrade to a higher standard of room so this was very pleasing and helped us get over our travelling experiences. No.
As our plane arrived late into Treviso Airport, we were looking for a hotel close by. The airport is about 10-15 minutes away from the hotel, a little further than we had thought. There were no taxi's available, so it was helpful to be able to call the hotel and have the shuttle bus pick us up. The cost of the shuttle bus is 15 Euro, the taxi is 15 to 20 Euro we were told. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. The beds were comfortable and there were beautiful views of the Dolomite Mountains in the distance in the morning. The desk staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful with directions to the bus to Venice which was very easy to catch right out front of the Hotel. According to the hotel staff, the shuttle bus is not always available and you must call to check once your arrive at the airport. I would suggest emailing the hotel ahead of time to let them know if you may want to use this service.
Very accessible to the airport and train stations.
Large room and great breakfast.
quality and position to move around (Treviso and Venize). better than go with the bus is to leave your car at Preganziol train station (free parking) and then take the train. internet is not free considering the price of the hotel.
the hospitality and the food of the hotel are very good. one should use this hotel if he wants to stay in the vicinity of the airport.
very big bedroom only neon light in bedroom; no fresh fruit for breakfast
cleanness and location of the hotel in a green area upon arrival they asked me to sign a blank form which i refused but the hotel staff (a big middle age man ) was not friendly to me!
The hotel was very clean and you were not disturbed very early in the mornings by cleaning staff knocking at your door. I found the language barrier quite difficult - very few of the staff spoke any English.
Hotel is new and in nice, quiet area. Lot of parking space. Bus and train services close and convenient for trips to Venice without taking car (train station is about 15 minute walk from hotel). Diner in hotel very good and affordable. Slow service during breakfast and dinner due to lack of staff, specially if there were lot of guests attending.
New clean room rooms. In a quiet area outside Treviso, helpful staff. Family room was ideal for our twin boys and ourselves.
Hotel is very, very nice - most of the rooms with nice lake view, located in very quite area (even very close to highway). Rooms are comfortable (approx. 35M2) with nice terase (would put some diveders between different room terrasses for more privacy); lobby is very nice too connecting different floors - lobby, spa section and restaurant. Spa section - it is just nice with high quality of services (most of the staff speak English, Thai girls only a little of curse). Restaurant - nice lake view, good quality of food (but almost now fish even at lake) and friendly staff. It is approx. 20 minutes from Treviso and about 45 minutes to Venice parking lots. Around the hotel, you can find nice small villages or take a bike for small ride. Marian. Breakfest - I remember reading the breakfest is good; but it is actually very basic one (one ham, one cheese, few yogurts, cereals, coffe, fruits, etc.); but nothing special at all. At least the coffee is ok, but that one you expect in Italy anyway. P.S. If you would like to know waht is perfect breakfest, have a stay in nh Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky (Dam 9, Amsterdam, Netherlands); you have never seen so much to eat for breakfest :- ) ! Restaurant is closing at 10pm officially, even they will serve bit later, it is pretty soon for Italian style of living and dining.
Beautiful and clean room. Good atmosphere. Nothing in particular
even if we reserved the std room via web, they gave us the room with lake view, without paying additional fees
Great staff, comfortable spacey rooms Restaurant - breakfast OK, lunch & dinner - very poor standard. I would go looking for a restaurant/wine bar in the area. Location - a bit out of the way, need car.
The charm of the place was only superceded by the helpfulness of the staff. The location was excellent as well: Just far away enough from the city to feel non-urban and close enough for us to enjoy urban priviledges. And to top four days of high quality service, they even offered to drive us to the airport in the wee hours of the morning. We highly recommend B&B Mezzaluna.
Very comfortable B&B-clean, quet, good service, delitious breakfast, take to the airport. Personal is very helpful.
The guy at the reception is extremely friendly and polite. Thank you for a wonderful weekend at Treviso.
Quiet Limited Breakfast
A relaxing & clean home from home, with discreet & friendly service by the owners, in the suburbs of this beautiful small city. Meet & great airport transfer service was included in the price. It was more like staying in a family home than a hotel. Ideal for a stop-over before or after a flight from Treviso airport. Not that convenient for an evening in the city, as the bus stops running 8.25 & taxi's are very expensive, although there are a few restaurants nearer. City is about a 30 minute walk.
First and foremost, the courtesy, helpfulness and friendliness of the family. The combination of being taken care of and having the independence of our own key suited us very well, and meant we were able to return late in the evening without having to make arrrangements in advance - not always the case in a B&B.
The position is very good for rest, not crowded, silent area. Staff pretty nice, room clean and confortable. The breakfast is poor for somebady who consider it the most important meal of the day.
The friendliness of the staff and their asssistance. Could do with some sort of improvement to the soundproofing - especially in regard to the toilet above our room !would be nice to have a full length mirror in the \bedroom.
ecxellent personell, extremely friendly and helpful
Cmplete helpfulness of staff no query too small to be answered. We were given a free lift back to treviso airport which is only 15 minutes away by car. If you like peace and tranquility go there !!!
Friendly service Room that needs renovation -old sink, bath and shower -
The leisure centre the bar closed too early
Late check in after the aircraft was delayed. Prompt action to deal with noisy party in the next room. Helpful and knowledgable front desk staff
Excellent restaurant - which appears to be owned and managed separately - friendly, helpful staff in restaurant. Room was not in accordance with booking; reception staff were unhelpful; manager was unavailable. Rooms and corridors could have been maintained better.
The hotel was centrally located between Venice and Treviso Airport. The restaurant did not offer a big selection and we chose to eat elsewhere. The hotel did offer much diversity and we did not eat there.
I found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. The hotel and room were very clean. I found that having access to wireless internet was useful as we could find information like train times when we needed to. The pool was a good size and I found the surrounding area to be clean and relaxing. Our double room and bathroom was a good size. The jacuzzi did not seem to work. I thought the hotel lounge area lacked a bit of atmosphere and that they could do with some background music. I found the hotel drinks and food to be a little on the pricey side compared to surrounding areas, however the service was good.
i stayed with 1 child and therefore we liked the swimmingpool. the beds were to hard. the breakfast was ok, but expected more
An efficient business hotel in small format. The pool was closed. There was no information about this when I booked.
Staff were very friendly. The hotel was dark in public areas with no main lighting especially at the lifts. The room was also very noisy and I was slightly dissapointed at my Junior Suite as it was a basic UK double room. It should be noted the distance from the center of town as a taxi is a must for any travel there.
