Pros: - Everything
Pros: Staff very helpful
Pros: Not a hotel, but a Spa with 2 rooms. Lovely place to stay. Located in a quiet street, at walking distance from the (also quiet) city center: we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, in the first week of August. Be aware that many restaurants are closed because of the holidays during that period. And Sunday even more are closed. Very friendly personnel and owner, more than willing to help you with whatever you need (a restaurant that is actually open ;-). Large terrace, which was ideal to have breakfast in the morning.
Pros: The hammam is truly beautiful.
Pros: The balcony was amazing. The view, the shade under the canopy, and the breeze made it almost indescribably picturesque.
Pros: Extraordinary location; super friendly staff; wonderful host; exceptional breakfast and just THE place you want to be for a short break from daily life

Pros: Even with my lack of French, Roger and Nicole made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived at the B&B. The B&B is located in a very small and quiet village, but with quick and easy access to Porentruy. Breakfast and dinner (if requested) were excellent, and I was treated to a special cheese fondue on my first night with Roger and Nicole. A highlight of my trip!
Pros: Very friendly and hospitable hosts, who were very willing and able to give very helpful advice on what to do and what to see in and around Porrentruy.

Pros: There is one type of bread, tasty, crispy and fresh, "pain de campagne" and the breakfast is simple but good. The room is spacious, cosy, clean and quiet. The beds are good and comfortable. The bath room and toilet are very clean, well maintained and modern, perfect! The kitchen is equipped with stove, oven, dishwasher, large sink and microwave. All tools and pottery were available. The hostess and partner are very friendly and helpfull. In the seating room is a wood burner, warm and cosy! The location is splendid for the one liking nature, hills and forest. The wifi is free of charge, stable and fast enough. Just before the entrance of the house there is a bus stop.
Cons: We missed a warm egg, boiled or fried, the apples were quite soft, not very fresh. A seat in the room enlarges the comfort.
Pros: Perfect host - friendly and welcoming, very helpful! Quite place, friendly cat and fireplace for evenings. Not far away from main roads.
Pros: A home away from home A very friendly atmosphere Fantastic WiFi
Cons: Mainly accessible by car but there is a post bus nearby.
Pros: Excellent hosts, made us feel like at home. Entirely renovated, beautiful interior, warm and cosy. Location is perfect to disconnect from city stress.
Pros: Really lovely place in a quiet rural setting with excellent facilities and the personal touch. Heartily recommend! Breakfast includes bread from a local baker who works out of a nearby farmhouse with 24-hour, hole-in-the-wall honesty box. The bread, rolls and pastries are fantastic and have has no nasty additives. Delicious!!
Cons: Plan to stay longer - this place is magical.
Pros: Quiet and peaceful with warming welcome from Mrs. Janine . We will back here again
Pros: very friendly hostess. well looked after. good advice on area
Cons: a little remote, but quiet
Pros: Very quiet, comfort, clean, sweat, warm
Pros: Parking for motorcycle garage locked speaks English
Cons: Breakfast little basic
Pros: Excellent stay at Bed & Breakfast no. 57. The reception is cosy. At arrival, we were warmly welcome with a real fire in the log burnner. All facilities are great and clean. Nice breakfast in a spacious and nicely deocrated room. The owner was very friendly. It was a pleasure to stay in her BnB. Definitely a place to come back!

The nearest airport is Bern-Belp Airport, 64 km from the property.
Pros: Perfect check-in. Nice room, but not possible for physically handicapped - no elevator in house. Good location within beautiful old town of Porrentruy.
Cons: Breakfast was good, but would have been even better with some cold cuts (charcuterie).
Pros: Location is good, central in historical village. Rooms clean and quite large. Breakfast was served in main building and had a good selection. The server there was a very friendly, very helpful young lady. We stayed in the tower down the street from the main hotel building - very clever use of an historical space.
Cons: Parking is less convenient than a private lot, but not terrible. I didn't mind them, but my husband wasn't a fan of the narrow, stone spiral staircase to the rooms (at 6'2", or 188 cm it felt a bit tight). That might have been a challenge with a large suitcase or after a tipsy night!
Pros: What we liked especially was the food at the restaurant: absolutely delicious and definitely worth staying there again.
Pros: Typical Swiss small hotel. Decent restaurant as well
Pros: Fantastic location, very helpful and accomodating staff, room/house has a lot of character, exquisite restaurant
Pros: If I go again to Porrentruy I will stay in this hotel.
Cons: I have not understood exactly what the time is to do the check-in in the evening
Pros: Authentic rooms, nice breakfast.
Cons: Not the best soundproofing in these rooms which can be a problem with the churchbells in the morning which can be heard loud and clear. No aircon or fan available.
Pros: Lovely hotel and restaurant in lovely little historic town. The hotel looks straight down a (lovely) street to the castle. The room was very comfortable and bright. The restuarant is cosy and as the breakfast room light and airy. Good food. Great place to stay and eat.
Pros: Room was clean. Wi-Fi is good.
Pros: Had the 3person room with terace. great view over roofs of old town. Newly renovated and verry clean.
Pros: Nice location, very friendly staff, exellent food.
Pros: Small cosy hotel with gréât atmosphere. We were there the last but one night before the present owners left. So maybe it will change when under new ownership.
Pros: Lovely riverside location in a picturesque village. The proprietor was an absolute delight and couldn't do too much for us.
Cons: There was confusion about where to park but that was caused by the receptionist's and my ability to converse in a common language.
Pros: The location was great, and the view from our balcony was just as pictured in the photos we had seen. The people who worked there and the owners were all extra nice. Nice breakfast.
Cons: The balcony was filthy. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks.
Pros: Loved it. This village is totally charming and the Hotel Demi-Lune is a lovely hotel. We had the upstairs suite, which consists of a very large bedroom, separate large sitting room, balcony, it has wooden beams, and lots of character. The owner is very engaging and kind. We ate at their restaurant (excellent) and enjoyed the included substantial breakfast.
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect. This is not a characterless chain hotel, it has creaking floorboards, sloping roof, stairs... well appointed, but not glitzy; highly recommended for a charming stay in a beautiful village.
Pros: Staff was very nice. Room had a quirky lay out with a comfortable bedroom and a large room next door with an extra bed and large sitting area. Large terrace was off the bathroom, overlooking the river Doubs. Great sound to sleep to. Hotel is no frills but comfortable and with ample space and character. The Demi -Lune has been a hotel for at least a century. How often does one get to stay in a room on top of a bridge! Breakfast was included and very good.

Pros: The croissants were not hot but were good! The breakfast was good. The position was good.
Cons: Having to leave our car with all the luggage in a public car park.
Pros: Staff very nice, very comfortable bed, breakfast was very nice too.

An 18-hole golf course on the French side of the border can be reached within 3 km.
Pros: Lovely little auberge still managed by owners that care. All food is made to order and a nice little terrace to relax in the sun.
Cons: The dormitory is very basic (mattresses on the floor), but for the price it is unbeatable in Switzerland and sometimes that is all you need/want to pay for!. It suited me perfectly and I slept very well. All the bathroom facilities are completely new and modern.
Pros: Relaxed friendly atmosphere
Cons: Flyscreen on window as it was hot at top of building and mosquitos got in as we had the window open.
Pros: I loved that it is in the very quiet contryside. The owner lady is very kind, even if she does not really speak or understand English very well. The hostel room is very simple in the attic, but I liked that there was nobody during the 3 nights, so I had the whole room alone (of 6-12 capacity extendable). Great price for Switzerland. Nice walks in the village and in the nearby village. They have many horses, nice to look at them. Also the nature sounds are great, animals like cows, horses, rooster...
Cons: There was not a very strong wifi signal in the room, just on the corridor, but I did not have a problem alone. But if the room is full, may be a little congestion in the corridor due to this. Else all simple ,but fine!
Pros: Super location
Pros: Few people in the hostel. I was able to choose the bed. I had plenty of space and it was very quiet and comfortable.
Cons: Be careful with the stairs to access to the last floor.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. They go out of their way to help you if needed. The room is large and well insulated from the traffic noise. Good continental breakfast and great service.
Cons: 1. Very narrow staircase and no lift. 2. Whole building including the room stinks of cigarette smoke from the bar downstairs. 3. Parking is little bit of a hassle.
Pros: Staff were really helpful and friendly. Bed was extremely comfortable. Room and whole studio immaculate and clean
Cons: Room smelt smoky. Bathroom on lower floor with no window, also a little stuffy.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff!!! I had a big and nice room.
Cons: Sink in the bathroom is too small and difficult to reach because of shelf above it. Showerhead is calcified and therefore the water is not coming out properly. For breakfast there could be some fruits and cereals offered. The rolls are not fresh but just crisped up in the oven!!

Cons: No bathroom
Pros: The location is amazing and the variety of accommodation means that there is something for everyone.
Cons: Nothing really!!
Pros: Lovely place. Owner very friendly and helpful. I stayed in one of the mobile homes which was clean, cosy and comfy, with cooking facilities and a heater. The site is on the route of the Grand Tour of Switzerland and just a 5-10min walk from St-Ursanne.
Cons: Just a note that wifi access is applicable to the main building only, not the caravans.
Pros: My first overnight stay in a caravan, and it exceeded my expectations. I stayed here before and good to see same friendly and helpful staff are still here.
Pros: Friendly place!
Pros: Very friendly, cooperative and caring team. Big thanks to them, for making us (my family with two young children) so comfortable and have a very good time in St. Ursanne! (those friendly gestures made a big difference to our stay and the overall feeling)
Pros: All the staff were very friendly and efficient. It is a great value for your money. They were very flexible with our check-in and check-out. The food at the restaurant is quite good and has a very good price.

Breakfast is offered from 06:00 on weekdays, and from 07:00 on weekends. Délémont is 30 km from Hôtel de la Gare, and the French town of Belfort is 40 km away.
Cons: I was not informed that there was a feast till 3AM ... The breakfast was not included as thaï said, like it is classically in Switzerland. Bad organisation.
Pros: Good value for money. Great breakfast (at an extra CHF10) with nice coffee. The hotel restaurant was good. Seperate shower area was good and clean. WiFi worked well.
Cons: Room a little warm on arrival. Also a bit on the small size. As with many Swiss hotels, there are no, or few round European plug sockets. The only one was near the sink meaning I had to drag wires to my 4-way near the sink. Not keen on the longer walk from room to the communal toilets also used by restarant/bar customers too.
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was in perfect condition and seems as if recently renovated. Good and fast internet coverage. All personal were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: I missed a small desk and chair in the bedroom.

Guests can start their day with a sumptuous breakfast. Half-board options are also available at this intimate hotel. Canoeing and kayaking are possible just a 15-minute stroll from the house. Parking for cars and motorcycles are provided at the property.
Pros: The room was comfortable, nice Swiss chocolate in the room on arrival. Wifi worked well and the location was really great. Went for a meal with work colleagues in the restaurant one evening and the food was also very good.
Cons: More toiletries - only had one sachet of shampoo for two nights - OK for me but maybe for others not enough. However, if I had asked for more I am sure it would have been provided so not a big issue.
Pros: St.Ursanne is a fantastic medieval town virtually unchanged for the last couple of hundred years. The Hotel du Boeuf is in the middle of town. Traffic at night is minimal so no street noise. Breakfast is free but adequate. If you want a cooked breakfast you have to order and pay for it. The WiFi is fast and available in each room.
Cons: Parking is at a premium. If you don't mind parking outside the town's walls, it's free on one side and CHF 5 per day on the other side. In both cases it's a five-minute walk from car to hotel. There is no lift only a circular staircase within a tower to reach one's room. So it's not suitable for disadvantaged travelers.
