Pros: The site is lovely and right beside a river. It's a former flour mill. Rooms were clean, comfortable and easily accessible. Parking at the front door area helpful. Pros: Room was very clean, bed comfortable, quiet. Amenities are nice. Staff nice, welcoming and helpful. Secure parking.
Cons: Breakfast was a set menu but is just ok. Would have loved a buffet.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Parking (car elevator but working fine). Attention of all personnel regardless of the time (we arrived very late and the attention of the reception desk was fantastic).
Cons: Breakfast and breakfast venue. Probably the least attractive part of the service. Very basic and the venue is not as modern as you would expect (dark and akward). Room furniture dated and needing some attention. Temperature of bath room (too hot).

Cons: Small room. A bit over priced.

Overview Reviews
16 Suites and Apartments establishment of wide size, fully equipped and decorated with great luxury furnished with all kinds of details, complete kitchens, independent lounge - dining room, with the whole equipment of furniture, TV, WiFi, etc.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: If you are traveling in a car (especially if it is a big one) be careful with parking. I was traveling from the north of Spain in a pretty big car (Land Rover Discovery). I booked this hotel because it says in booking that it has its own parking and I didn’t expect any problems with it. I called the hotel a day in advance to book the parking place and was told to call in the morning the day I arrive. I did so and they told me that there are no parking places available. Since it was in October, which is not a peak of the season, I guess the number of parking places they have is very limited. I think you should mention this on the booking page. The staff told me that there would no problem to park in the street. I spent an hour looking for the parking place in the street and in the end parked 1 km away and had to carry my bags all this way. It was impossible to stop in front of the hotel because the special place they have was occupied all the time. I have called the hotel several times and have not received any help from the staff. It was a nice touch after doing 300 km. Also keep in mind that if you come during the weekend you can check in after 5 pm. The breakfast was very average. The rest was good. We booked an apartment. It was big, modern and clean. If it wasn’t for the parking problem I would’ve liked my stay at the hotel a lot.
7.5 Good
Pros: I like privacy
Cons: Didn’t like beds how there was two beds not clipped together and on wooden floor they just kept rolling on wheels so it’s not suitable for a couple
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Excellent stay ... and over all welcome by the very attentive staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff excellent and friendly. We were upgraded and the room was large, well equipped and very comfortable. Our dog was welcomed and there was enough greenery around the corner to give him a walk. Parking useful. The « panaderia » next door sells great bread which you can see being made. A good stopover.
Cons: The plug in the bathroom sink was awkward. And if that is all I can complain about you can tell how good it was !!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A nicely furnished apartment in a location that suits us.
Cons: Kitchen equipment is a bit limited.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Apartment was spacious, with large windows, fully equiped and in a nice neighborhood.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice accommodations. Excellent, helpful staff. Good location. Close to shops, restaurants and bus lines.
Castilla Termal Balneario de Olmedo - Olmedo - Building
5
9.0 Excellent (1,311 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Olmedo, Castilla Termal Balneario de Olmedo is in a rural location, within a 15-minute walk of Plaza Ulloa and Palacio Caballero de Olmedo. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a computer station, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The entire building, the architecture, design , cleanliness... quality of the breakfast ... easy to get around and very friendly staff
Cons: Nothing really... the only thing I can think about is that there should be more slots available for the massages and treatments in general ...
7.1 Good
Pros: Relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: The food offered on the Spanish cafeteria menu is not listed in the same order as on the English version of the menu - which led to some interesting dishes being served - i.e. they were not the ones we ordered as the waitress used the position of the food on the menu as a direct cross reference ( a logical assumption) however this was not the case. Our Spanish was not good enough and her English was not good enough to work this our until after the event! We stayed for 3 nights. I am not impressed that this hotel (and others like it) charge the same for each night with no reduction for multiple night stays, so in my opinion that entitles guests to clean robes (especially as they were always wet from using the Spa) and fresh bottled water each day as is the case when you arrive for your first (and perhaps only) night's stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good, clean, comfortable room and bed. We also paid for the breakfast buffet, which offered a very good selection. The staff was professional and courteous. I would happily stay here again, but I might also explore other options in the area.
Cons: We opted to pay 23€/person for access to the thermal pool. While this was relaxing and enjoyable, I think this pricing is a little steep -- there is essentially only a single large pool whose temperature is fairly uniform throughout (i.e.: no hot tubs, etc.). We initially wanted to do one of the water circuits, but they informed us that you needed a group of at least 4, which was a disappointment.
7.1 Good
Cons: Access to the sauna and turkish baths were not included in the pool access which was disappointing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hydrotherapy pool was great and very relaxing
Cons: The bathrooms in the public areas weren't up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel and need cleaning more often
5.6 Okay
Cons: Internet page did not reflect the actual location very well

Pros: Everything
Cons: That we only spent one night
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and welcoming staff, spacious rooms and excellent location.
Cons: The bed was extremely hard and for me too hard - I was tempted to move to the settee. Such a shame as it ticked so many other boxes.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was brilliant. Big, comfortable and quiet rooms. Excellent air conditioning in the room.
Cons: Parking is a bit expensive. The lift from the street to the parking deck has a limited space and weight capacity. Breakfast was okay.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location, attention, clean,
Cons: Breakfast could be better
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Valladolid itself is a very nice town with beautiful buildings. This hotel is in a very good location, though as it is central and parking is difficult you have to pay extra for parking within the hotel. The room was very comfortable and well furnished and the bed had quality linen on it. The room even had a mini kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: I would rate the breakfast as poor and did not represent value for money.
The Book Factory Hostel - Valladolid - Bedroom
7
8.9 Excellent (1,507 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at The Book Factory Hostel, you'll be centrally located in Valladolid, within a 10-minute walk of Valladolid Cathedral and San Pablo Church. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The lady on reception was extremely lovely and helpful!! The location was great and the dorm was very spacious and had a lot of natural light which is important. Also lockers if you need to use.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Fairly standard multi-bed hostel room. Really comfortable bed (looks quite new), with a locker for valuables etc. Reception staff were helpful, bathroom was almost next door to my room, powerpoint and light close to bed. I enjoyed the peace and quiet, as it was evidently not a busy time (my room had only four beds occupied out of 14 or so).
Cons: There was very little to fault, but if anything the shower cubicles could have a shelf or hook in order to store toiletries, hang clothes etc. A hand drier or paper towels in the bathroom would be helpful too.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The property seems fairly new, very clean and a great value for the price.
Cons: For breakfast options were hot beverage (coffee, tea), juice and croissant or toast (with butter or with tomato).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: it was clean and nice
Cons: in the shower there was not space to put your cloths so it was a bit complicated

Pros: Apart from my comment above, all was fine with our stay - and it was our third stay here en route France-Portugal. Excellently located for the autoroute and close to the nice little town.
Cons: Only negative comment is that bathroom floor had several long hairs on it, on our arrival.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff very helpful. Met our needs with an elderly parent with a warmth and smile. Bed, pillows very comfortable for weary travellers.
Cons: We're in transit, so could not enjoy the facilities .
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good parking, nice communal areas, really nice take away coffee trolley in the lobby.
Cons: The property itself is fine and nice in the communal areas, rooms do not have attention to detail or particularly nice furnishing. Fairly clean (apart from the odd hair not belonging to us) but really lacking on supplies for toiletries (cheap and basic), no robes/slippers, no soundproofing between rooms (could hear the tv and snoring for adjoining rooms). Staff were not particularly helpful and room service food was terrible (the bread was hard enough to take your teeth out). Lack of any help (porter) for luggage.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and staff, particularly those in the restaurant
Cons: Not a cosy place..dark rooms, no quiet areas to sit and have a drink and a chat. The worst item was the unpleasant and loud music. Spain has a great number of fantastic guitar compositions which can be soothing and relaxing. The noise of so called popular music played too loudly is one of our biggest irritations in many hotels.
7.1 Good
Cons: the hotel use the gauranty credit card to make unutorized charge of mor than 450 euros. i talk by phone with the hotel and the answer was very poor. so i hade to cancel the credit card to recieve back my money,
7.1 Good
Pros: It is located conveniently for my business needs. Parking is free. Staff at reception was nice - haven't seen anyone else.
Cons: This could be a good 4* hotel, but for a 5* hotel I have most definitely higher expectations. The bed is not good (too hard, too few pillows, almost non-existing duvet); bath amenities are rather basic, lack of power outlets in the room, didn't see any sauna / spa facilities, nobody to bring your luggage around the stairs...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean , comfortable , good value Would reccommend an unknown jewl Of Valladolid to stay at
Cons: Nothing. A great place to stsy
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was good comfortable dinner
Cons: Need cups not plastic or card cups in room let the hotel down and you need to have toilet brush next to the toilet

Pros: The bed was really comfortable, the owner / receptionist was really nice and helpful, the room was nice.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice little hotel, Parking in the garage under the hotel. the place has a nice fresh look to it with glass panels and marble floors, it was nice and quirky something different, we really liked it. the hotel is in a small town so no tourist stuff just the local Spanish people but there was enough places to get a drink and some food.
Cons: We booked this so as to see Real Spain, so hotel is nice and the town was quite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely back rooms with terraces and views over the Duero...
Cons: Only coffee machines in Lobby that are not always working...the parking garage is tight for larger cars...but parking should not be too much of a problem

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room had been recently renovated and was clean, comfortable and modern - even the toilet had a soft-close seat and lid. The walk-in shower was very good but water did tend to escape onto the bathroom floor. Parking was enclosed and secure. A nearby restaurant was handy for evening meal and breakfast.
Cons: Maybe because we arrived on a Sunday afternoon there was no-one on reception, we had to phone to let them know we were there.

Cons: Very noisy street rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and clean room, super location yet very quiet and helpful staff. This is our second visit - would definitely return again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for a 5 night stay. Room (303) large and quiet and very clean. Requested gluten free option for breakfast and they had both cereal and bread (good quality) and soya milk, a first as normally the best most hotels will do is bread!. The staff were super, on arrival we were given a map and a detailed explanation of where to visit and restaurant recommendations and the restaurant staff were always pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. We opted for hotel parking (€14) per day. We were taken to the carpark which is only 5 minutes walk by a member of staff. On arrival in the city it may be best to go straight to the Plaza Mayor carpark (well signposted) and then at check in ask for the carparking. We had one evening meal in the hotel restaurant and this compared very favourably with the other restaurants we had visited.
8.8 Excellent

6.7 Good
Pros: Spacious bedroom. Car parking
Cons: The bathroom in particular was very out-dated and needs a major refurbishment.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A very clean hotel, we got a family room which was quite big and very comfortable. A little bit old-fashioned in term of general ambiance and decoration - closer to a business hotel - but it was what we expected. Large rooms, beds were very comfortable, 2 bathrooms. Very quiet. Found a free parking space very easily in the street in front of the hotel, which was also very convenient. The area is very secure. Lots of nice little cafés and patisseries nearby for breakfast if necessary.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Convenient for our road trip. Use of a microwave and kettle. Large terrace which gets a good sunrise.
Cons: First room wasn’t made up. So boyfriend had to get back down to reception and another room was arranged. Took a while - poor man on duty alone. Then the key card didn’t work. Back down again. By this time we were laughing out of delirious exhaustion. Thankful we had a sense of humour. Please note that the car park has no sensor lights. I got trapped in the dark alone - didn’t know where the light switch was. If you leave you partner alone down there doing bags while you check in - show him/her the lights switch. Comfy bed. Clean when room made up
7.9 Good

Cons: Bar and restaurant closed. Not easy to find a parking space

Cons: Breakfast of poor quality. Barely worth 5€/pp. staff clearing breakfast were loud and completely unaware of guests trying to have breakfast.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: beautiful old building full of period pieces and antiques, comfortable bed, and cool shady garden excellent restaurant/cafe - best tapas EVER. lovely friendly staff but it would be much easier for spanish speakers.
Cons: the room was very small and the 'with balcony' made me expect a small outside space, but you couldnt sit on it. the shower cubicle has nowhere to put soap etc and as the shower attachment needs to be hand held, its a bit inconvenient. the emergency exit light over the door was a bit garish at night.
