Beautiful accommodation, at end of main strip opposite the castle . Staff were lovely and friendly, never slept so well ,bed was excellent. Room spotless and exceptional cleaning . It was lovely to come back to a freshly made bed and fresh towels every day. Villa Lido you are a little gem , will definitely be back

The location was superb. The Villa is well maintained yet it is one of the older places on that strip therefore everything is built to a large scale. The rooms, hallways, stairwell are all spacious. The attention to detail from the era it was built has been well maintained. Francesco was very friendly and helpful as was his staff. Francesco offered us his personal number to call at 6:00 am in case we couldn't get our taxi to the train station. Thankfully he got to sleep in!
Everything was wonderful! If I had to look for something to say that I didn't like it would be the bed was slightly harder than I like. The Vila Lido really is very nice. Lovely room with a nice breakfast in the morning. It's a perfect location at the end of the strip with hotels, shops and restaurants, very close to the historic fort and across the street from the stairway down to the beach.

Lovely quirky place to stay. Bit old fashioned but that is part of the charm. Great location and views and Francisco couldn't be more knowledgeable or helpful.

Best place i have ever stayed in Portimao. Super friendly staff, very clean and large rooms with beach view, great breakfast in the balcony and easy access to the strip as well as beach clubs.
