They had a room when other hotels were all booked up. I found out why they had a room the staff was quite bad. I was given room 239 , my keys didn't work, so I returned to the lobby and the clerk said he had keyed the the cards for room 229, so he programmed them for room 239 as he had written and told me. I went back to room 239 and the new keys worked , except the room was occupied. I went back to the lobby and this time I was given 229 . This resolved the room issue. The next morning I went to the lobby at 4 am for my shuttle for my flight, the clerk checked and said I was not on the list for the shuttle, which I had been added to the previous night. I did eventually get on the shuttle, but I fear at another unhappy passengers expense. Overall I would not recommend them to anyone.
rude front desk staff. he does not know how to talk to guest.
Nithing Scratchy sheets, dirty place, limited airport shuttle, new employee couldn't handle "negative emotion" from me. He said it out loud. Rude
If you want a room to sleep in and bathroom to wash up in, this is the best deal around! The staff members were super friendly and easy to work with. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, this was perfect for my needs.
good water pressure. breakfast was decent Heater didnt work and the TV and Internet was in and out.
The location was central to the air port and stadium. The parking lot was littered with beer cans. The room next to ours was rented to a group of teenagers throwing a party. Loud music and yelling/laughing/smoking out of the balcony/slamming doors/pounding on the walls until 5am. We called the front desk 4+ times asking to be moved or to have the party kicked out, neither of which happened. We only got 2 hours of sleep. The next morning we asked for a refund for the night and to let us cancel our reservation to move to a different hotel but we were told that only a manager can give out refunds. This was Saturday morning-so no manager would be onsite for 4 days? Getting only 2 hours sleep ruined our entire day.
Pool with balcony/porch views Kayak does not specify that you are given a pet friendly room until after you are booked- some people are allergic to dander- pet inclusive rooms should be a segregated category and made prominent before a non cancellable reservation is made
ExcEllenton rooms that were big and clean Not a lot of food options close by
Very close to the airport. Overall quiet. Not the best neighborhood. Definitely under construction/renovation. No alarm clock, no local amenities guide. One thin blanket in the bed.
Room was above some machines that ran all night. I could not sleep because of the noise.
The bed was SO COMFORTABLE. In fact, we are now looking to buy a foam mattress for home, because our two nights on their bed were so comfy. The room was clean and had no strange smells (I have allergies), the bathroom was inviting, the staff was great, prompt and friendly. The airport shuttle helped a lot both times we used it. The complimentary breakfast was an added plus, especially since had to catch flight, no time to stop for breakfast. no comment
The room was not au all like in the picture, it was dim, dirty, the bare minimum, broken amenities, thin walls, and our stay, there was a group of screaming teenagers that wouldn't let us sleep.
Clean, newly renovated It was kind of noisy during the night.
Remodeled, spacious bedrooms. One staff member was very helpful when I needed to print some tickets, which is a plus these days. Although the hotel is pretty close to the airport, the neighbourhood is skecthy, to the point it made me feel unsafe at times. One can find similar facilities close to the airport in better shape in terms of security, although it might cost some 10-20 bucks more. Shower temperature varied a lot, which was very incovenient.
New room Nice staff Still remodeling
Leaving with more friends than when you arrived. Leaving with more friends than when you arrived. Fleas. Construction everywhere. Room was torn up. When we arrived we were assigned a room that was one of only a handful of rooms that weren't under complete overhaul. The hallways had plaster crushed into the carpet, the adjacent rooms were used as storage for furniture during the construction. Mattresses pilled on mattressed and not covered up. An entire hallway was under renovation and the construction was loud. But really, we are giving this review to talk about the fleas. We stayed in a room, which also had remnants of being under construction (torn and folded carpet) and had mold in the bathroom. We were there an hour, taking turns showering, and encountered three fleas on our bodies. Fleas. We checked out immediately. Front desk clerk emerged ten minutes after waiting up front, said nothing to me nor gave eye contact when I informed him why we were checking out for a full refund. He gave me my receipt then walked back into the back office. Perhaps he knew there were fleas and just didn't care. $54 dollars for fleas. If you're into that sort of thing. Honestly, I'd just use airbnb.com
Everything was clean. Exactly what I expected to receive for the price. Comfy pillows, decent bed. Location was easy to access. Would stay there again. Part of the tub was broken, lots of water spilled out if not careful, but surely a problem only in the one room. The area of the hotel didn't seem like the nicest, but I didn't feel unsafe there.
There was literally crack cocaine in the coffee pot. This is not hyperbole.
The room had a color theme and was pretty clean. There was a stove top and full fridge. And microwave. There was a table and the entire room was quite spacious. There was a nice new tv. You could tell it was new bc it still had the energy saver tag from the store on the screen. There was no turn table in the microwave there were bowls in the cabinet and some cooking utensils in a drawer like someone lived there. The light and fan above the stove top didn't work. There were no chairs for the table. The hallways looked like it was under construction because the carpets were dirty and the it looked like someone had recently removed the floor molding on the entire first floor.
this app massage pine tree silly no hotwire was no water pressure in your room probably
It was convenient to the airport. We didn't actually sleep. The Exit door was propped open, people were coming in and out all night. When we left at 3:30 am there were sleepy prostitutes walking through the lobby, and there was a drug deal happening outside on the sidewalk.
The manager was able to retrieve my belongings back by viewing the security cameras and found out who took my things. I didn't feel safe. There were some gang bangers hanging out in the parking lot , threatening me as I was unloading my luggage .. if I could give it 0 stars I would
Large rooms I can't even begin.. Awful service , foul and dingy looking dump. Tried to be remodeled but so cheaply done.. Bashed up doors and stairs . Funky smells throughout . Just totally gross..
Sheets and towels were outright gross, multiple visible stains. This is pretty basic stuff for a motel. Despite the cheap price, you don't get what you pay for.
Bed was comfortable. NO ELEVATOR! Understaffed (had to wait 30 minutes to check out as "desk clerk" also shuttle driver). Left after one night (scheduled for 3). Total disaster! AVOID THIS PLACE!
i stayed an entire month the owner Maria gave me a really hard time about my service dog although the pimps & hoes seemed to be very very welcomed.
The room was renovated recently, but the rest of the building is in the middle of renovation - loose wires, drywall everywhere, disgusting old carpet in the hallways. The picture of the front of the building is not the actual building itself. This hotel is in a BAD area. It seems Pimps and prostitutes actually live in the building and conduct business there (they are kept on the first floor). I heard a woman having raucous sex while we were checking in, the place smelled of cigarettes. The list goes on and on. I only stayed there because we got in very late and had nowhere else to stay before our flight out of Portland.
I enjoyed the orange juice every morning. THere was crappy tv reception and the breakfast was eitheer toast, Eggos, or dry cereal, nothing to write home about! The syrup was almost empty and the first morning there were no cups availabe, a guest track some down from house keeping.
Cheap Kayak listed this as America's Best Value Inn, but the name has changed to Studio 6 Extended Stay...this was a bit confusing. Then, as we were checking in, my husband wanted to double check that there was an airport shuttle for our early flight the next morning, which Kayak had listed as an amenity, and the front desk reported that they no longer offer this service...their shuttle was broken...permanently broken. We asked to stop the check-in process while we looked elsewhere to stay. Unfortunately we couldn't find anywhere last minute, so we had to stay at this hotel. We then had to book a taxi to the airport...which was only about $10, but still an unexpected expense to pay at 4:30am for our early flight. Also, the room was FILTHY. Marker marks on the bedspread, dirty floors and carpet, etc. The room smelled and made you feel gross just standing in there. We are not panicked people by this stuff either...it just was truly a gross, cheap place to stay. We slept in full clothes and put shirts on the pillows just in case...again, we are not normally this worried, but this place was pretty sketchy and icky. Fair warning.
We arrived at 6pm and the room wasn't ready yet. We were given another room, but it wasn't clean and there was no air conditioning.
The staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. The location is quite convenient. Hotel is undergoing renovations so it is pretty noisy during the day. Someone either forgot to put in or stole our showerhead & we had to ask staff for a replacement (which they promptly did). The maid also forgot to clean our room one day,
