very nice staff.good location.
My family enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the rooms were good and it was literally right off the highway. Very close to Maine.
Free breakfast was only to 9 am.
The hotel is conveniently located just off the freeway. We needed a quick overnight stay after our flight from California. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The swimming pool/jacuzzi area looked inviting. The room was big and had a window that opened up. The room had a refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker.
The King size mattress in the room must have been worn out, My back started to hurt immediately (I never have back aches) and I did not sleep much. Bathroom mats and shower curtain liner need urgent replacement (they looked very dirty). Breakfast was so "bad" that my husband did not find anything to eat (and he could eat three breakfasts a day). We were glad we arrived late and were leaving early.
The rooms were pretty big and they were able to accomodate us with 2 ajoining rooms which helped make it feel even bigger. The staff we encountered were friendly and when the fire alarm went off they quickly got information to us about what was going on.
The hot tub was out of order, people were having sex in the swimming pool, and the fire alarm went off at 730am Sunday morning. Normally I would be ok with the fire alarm going off because that's usually not something controlled by the facility. But I found out that it was because the mulch caught on fire... the same mulch that apparently caught on fire in the past so instead of changing it out for a non-flammable material they put signs up saying "no smoking - flammable material". Not acceptable in my book. The rooms themselves could have been a little cleaner as well. There were quite a few stains on the chair, bed covers, and carpet.
Fire alarm at 7 am, hot tub out of service.
Location is convenient to highway and Portsmouth
Bathrooms need complete upgrade as well as carpet. Overall, hotel is a bit run down and could us an upgrade. Staff were friendly enough but I wouldn't stay here again. I would rather pay the extra $30 for a cleaner, updated hotel.
Clean facility, friendly staff, central location.
After we reported a problem with the heater/AC unit, they upgraded us to the most expensive room free and extended our checkout time to 2 PM as a courtesy.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were well maintained and convenient. All in all it was a very good value for the price. I'd recommend it.
The young man Tom at the desk when we checked in was super helpful and the room was nice and clean and all the rest of the staff were great
The staff was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No complaints whatsoever
Very convenient for visiting the coast of New Hampshire & souhtrn Maine. Handy for the centre of Portsmouth. A short drive from Boston.A clean and comfortable hotel. Complimentary breakfast was a benefit.
The 'heated pool' was too cold to swim in.
