location was great, room had sea view, decor of ground floor great it was in the process of renovation, our room was in definite need of this and it was very small
I had a lovely view of the Solent from my large spacious balconied room. My balcony was covered in old cigarette ends in various stages of decay and my balcony door would not shut. Breakfast was dried up and the waitress was sulky.
The area and distance to local amenities. The TV was very small the bed was small and the shower wasn't big enough. The shower curtain let water go all over the floor making it slippery.
the room had been reburbished to a very high level. reception service was very helpful. Loved the seaview. we were upgraded without out our knowledge and was a very nice surprise to get sea view roooms. The front doors by the reception needed the strengh of hercules to open!! and the bathroom was very small compared to the size of the rrom. thank god both my husband and i are small size people or we would not have fitted into the bathroom!!
Staff very helpfull Breakfast choice a little limited, room lighting was poor but only minor details.
The great view from our room 244 with balconies on two sides and the space in the room and bathroom. We had trouble with the toilet the first night. It was difficult to flush, but we managed to find a way to «double flush» the next day. We mentioned it to the receptionist the first morning and she promised to have someone look into it, and she kindly offered us to change room. However, we liked the room and the problem went away, so we stayed. Strong wind make all kinds of load «flute like» noises in the room, which disturbed sleep a little, but in its «spookiness» it was kind of nice too. It would have been nice to have an around the clock news and weather channel on the TV.
Quiet; attentive staff;well located Staff did not know much about local restaurants
The Evening meal service was painfully slow -one man walked out between courses. The whole experience was terrible.
Friendly and attentive staff, Breakfast was excellent. Efficient and attention to detail well executed. n/a
the original architectural features being charged for wifi
Place to park the car, Acceptable walking distance to Dockyard. Breakfast was excellent
very good breakfast
Excellent, very helpful and knowledgable staff. I would certainly book the buffet breakfast at £8.50 each, very tasty and filling. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Bed was very comfy and a quiet room so a peaceful nights sleep. Around 10minutes walk through a pleasent bit of town to gunwharf quay. £4 taxi from station. We went to portsmouth for a weekend break and would certainly recommend this place
The location of the hotel, in easy walking distance from Gunwharf. Also enjoyed the use of the pool.
The pool & jacuzzi. Room was clean but very worn. Tough to get around in the room if someone was sitting at the desk. Food in the bar was horrible!
The hotel swimming pool was excellent.
The beds Finding it - the standard of the food - totally inadequate parking
Noisy Hovercraft Terminal nearby & associated announcements starting at 6.00am
Big room.good tv channel coverage No toiletries included
Nice location, friendlt and helpful staff. None
Informative helpful staff Room to hot at night even with the window open which led to a poor nights sleep
We always look forward to using your hotels. They are always welcoming and the staff are very proffessional. Rooms are always kept in good order and shower is always good. The only thing we find is that the restraunts attached to the hotels are not always up to standard with service. Not all but certainly some.
