Absolutely perfect small and very nice hotel! For me the best in Verona area. Please keep staying like this - I will come again and again!!!
Very clean, calm place, perfect for relaxing, the pool is awesome, breakfast okay. Price/Value - perfectly alright, Wifi conection ( so discusable in Italy) - free and very good reachable all around the place, friemdly outgoing owner. 20 minutes from Verona center by car. A little dark room, the bed was slightly unconfortable (oldfashioned spring bed) but still clean. Thanks to the furnishing and safari stly decorations and instalations in the gerden and due to the local surroundings the place is rather suitable for older people and families with children than for young couples.
The hotel is designed perfectly. It looks like an oasis of beauty and comfort. The hptel staff is very polite and courteous.
I guess the only good thing about this hotel is it's proximity to the airport (about 20 min drive) Would not recommend this hotel: It is not a hotel - it is a hostel, very very small rooms, no english speaking at the hotel, the photos are misleading, the pool is not clean and it is very scary at night. we paid for two guests and got only one towel -no one to talk to.
hospitality of the owners and relaxing and peaceful surroundings
This B&B has exotic decorations and furniture and is very unusual. The owners were very gracious and helpful, They did everything to make our stay comfortable.
the hotel had a nice theme and is well maintained - it is close to Verona (if travelling by car) if you want to do sightseeing the room was quite small considering the size of the bed
This was an awesome B&B. Very friendly and helpful staff and the pool was so relaxing to spend some time sunning and swimming. They offered a large breakfast choice and the facilities were very well kept and up to date.
The owner couple was very nice. It was very, very hot in B&B area mid July 2010. The place is in the field. Verona is close. The breakfast could be more heavy... Eggs ...
A lunique house, in a lovely setting and a nice owner. Unfortunately the bed was very hard and squeaky! Also, a new swimmming pool was being built when we stayed at the end of May 2009 (which looks like it will be fantasic) and the construction noise was unbearable during the day, to the point where I had to leave and go out for a drive to get away from it. I was disappointed that we were not warned about that before we booked.
Friendly helpful staff and great location, particulalry for wine lovers. The roof of the loft bedroom was a bit low, so we could not stand upright and the stairs to the loft were very steep.
Nice and helpful receptionist. Daughter of the owner's family. Very knowleglable about wines of the region. Staff slow in refilling the brekafast buffet.
Quiet semi rural setting close to A4 motorway and Soave town centre Bedroom ceiling in the apartment was to low for all but the shortest person
it was easy to find. a pleasure to stay in. our room was fantastic and far more luxurious than we anticipated for the price, want to go back now!!
Excellent base for exploring the wine route. Within easy reach of Verona , Asiago , Lake Garda and Venice. The bed and breakfast is on an exceptional wine estate run by an energetic friendly family
This was our second stay at B&B Monte Tondo. One of the highlights of our trip (again) for accommodations. Marta, the daughter of the owners who runs the Front Desk for the B&B and for Wine Tastings and sales, is an absolute charm and she made my wife and I feel very welcome. Prices are some of the best you will find, yet the rooms sizes and comfort are also among the top for B&Bs in Italy. Nothing
We where met with the most excellent service ever. Recomendation of restaurants, and things to do. That it was a winery aswell, should be mentioned, its a new winery, but their wine is excellent.
I could make food in my room pretty cold at night
Great location! Soave is an adorable medieval town, also very close to Verona & Vicenza. The B&B was very quiet (despite being close to the highway), with clean and comfortable rooms. Our quadruple room accommodated 3 adults and 2 young children (4 & 2) very well. The breakfast was very good and my husband said it was the best hotel coffee of the trip! We also enjoyed the winery tour and the children had fun playing with the old bottling equipment outside. Very child-friendly! The wine was excellent and we came home with as many bottles as we could carry. We would definitely stay there again if we are visiting the region or just driving by.
The swimming pool was nice, but was under construction, and the workers made my daughters uneasy. The setting within the vineyard gave a nice appearance. The location is good onlly for Soave; it is quite far from anywhere else. The breakfast was all store-bought, packaged foods. Nothing fresh. The four-person apartment we rented had a very nice king-sized bed, but the bed was in a loft that did not receive any cool air from the a/c and was like an oven in the summer heat. A low ceiling made it impossible to stand upright. The bed downstairs is a pullout sofa which was very uncomfortable. The room appeared clean at first, but any higher rating of its cleanliness was negated when we found a roach crawling in the sink on our last morning there. The guest rooms are all above a basement workroom, which was in use and very noisy until eight in the evening
