The staff did correct the problem by moving us to better room.
Tub did not hold water and room smelled of old smoke.
It was located close to many old, scenic buildings....including the church that held the wedding we attended. Staff was very nice. Would stay here again.
My only issue was that I have allergies and the room had a very strong floral scent.....probably an air freshener. I got used to it and stopped sneezing after awhile.
I didn't like anything about this hotel
I didn't like everything
Everything was great from the moment I checked in. All the staff members were very nice. Breakfast was much better the that of other hotel .
The location was convenient to the sites we wanted to visit.
The staff was very rude and it was not very clean. Their continental breakfast was not very continental and our second day there they had everything ripped down before 10 am so we could not even grab a bite to eat or a coffee.
It was close to my destination in the morning
Yes everything I ask for 2 beds and got 1 king size bed not coo when u traveling with a friend,I don't think 2 men in a bed is a good look I will never book wit priceline because you guys are 'third party ' like the employer mention when we got there.
the signage to the parking lot needs to be expanded.
There was no way to sit in a chair and watch TV--you had to sit up in the bed or sit at the end of it. Saturday morning, around 9:30 there was no Decaf in the breakfast room and there was no one around to resupply.
Tried to charge $50 a night for my dog, No information on Priceline of this fee.
The air conditioning unit fan was so loud it had to be turned off at night to sleep. The business room was closed due to leak in the ceiling.
Our A/C unit started making a horrible noise the first night so they moved us the 2nd night into a VERY small room, nothing like the first. After discussing with the mgr on staff, we were moved to another room that was ok, but NASTY!! Mold in the bathroom
hotel was fine
never stayed at a hotel where you parked across the street and had to carry everything you wanted up a ramp and across the road to get to your room
There was no window to ourside. Only a window to the hallway.
Perfect walking distance to Yuengling Brewery! The reason this hotel was picked to stay at and it was at a decent price.
Parking situation is a bit odd and the room heating & cooling system is loud. Was pleasantly surprised to discover that the continental breakfast included a variety of cereals, whole fruit, juices and decent coffee. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable and the orange-scented soaps & shower products are nice. The room decor is a little old-fashioned but fine. Would stay here again next time we're in town.
The hotel and staff were all wonderful. I stayed here while visting the yuengling brewery and If i am ever in the area again, this would be my first choice.
I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of the 2008 and there were some problems. I recently returned to the Ramada in December 2008 and seemed as if the hotel turned around in a positive way. The staff made me feel welcomed when I arrived at the hotel. They gave me information regarding the hotel and the local resturants. The breakfast had even turned around too. They served cheese omlets one day and egg patties the next day. The breakfast had a variety of items to choose from instead of the usual coffee and donuts. I was more impressed because they served Special K cereal instead of the usual sugar cereals. I was more impressed with my recent stay in December that I have booked another trip in January for business. One thing I would reccommend to everyone is to not eat at the Porter House Grill. I order a steak and it was undercooked. When I mentioned it to the waitress she just sighed and asked what I would like to do. I even found a piece of black hair in my rum and coke and I told the waitress that I would have a glass of water of instead. When we received our bill, I was charged for the rum and coke even though I only had 1 sip from the drink. I mentioned this to the waitress and she said I am still charged because I did drink some of the drink. I complained to the hotel and the staff of the hotel was more apologetic than the waitress. The staff explained to me that the resturant was not part of the hotel and that they were sorry. Stay at the hotel but do not eat at the restaurant.
Over priced, difficult to locate, bad signage, musty room smell, no coffee cups, no glasses, bad lighting, trash in drawers, room overlooked the trash bins, two straight chairs for seating, Bath needs a real cleaning, diningroom closed. difficult to even get into the Hotel. Bathroom door did not close properly. Little could be done when arriving at your room at 9:30PM. We accepted it. NEVER AGAIN!
