The very central location and friendly staff A bit basic but ideal for our needs
Nothing Poor quality of rooms
Central location in Agen
it was close to downtown the people were very helpful
After a 6.5hr cycle in the freezing rain to get there, the walk in shower was definitely it!!
The close proximity to the railway station and to the locaboat office was so handy for us. All staff were pleasant and most helpful, the rooms were clean and adequate and we were very impressed with overall sevice. The breakfast included was very enjoyable. Great value for money. No
A well run hotel that is simple but it does the job. Comfortable little room with a perfectly functionable bathroom. The hotel is right in the centre of town with good restaurants close at hand.
The room was clean, tidy and the hotel staff were helpful when asked about the town (in our case Agen)
Great location, helpful staff, simple but comfortable room, cleanliness and everything in working order. Although parking was very convenient, it was also very expensive. Breakfast was poor and not worth the price.
Staff were very nice The reason I chose the hotel was because it had WiFi - it was not working for the 2 days of my stay - This was very very inconvenient
The Staff did not understand or speak english.
Arrived very late at night and left very early so not really able to judge. However, everything was functional. Room for a triple was very small. Generous Coffee and tea facilities. Extra bed is a rollaway stored under the double. Did not have the impression of cleanliness under the bed
Fair sized room, clean, totally acceptable for a overnight stay on a drive to somewhere, wouldn't want to spend days here. Very friendly staff. This is not a hotel in the sense of a single structure, there is a central building with the restaurant and check in and a second building (chalet concept) where the rooms are located on either the ground or first floor and open directly into the car park. This is positive if you are on an overnight stay like myself as you can leave the car right outside the room, but, not if you are on a long term stay as your room opens out directly into the car park which makes it exposed and dark.
Did it's job as a functonal hotel as we passed through Agen. Clean and comfortable and handy. Not the best value we foud during our cycle tour.
Room provided excellent bed which was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water, telephone, and excellent digital television clean good bathroom more than adequate with good towels and high standard of cleanliness The Restaurant could provide better food
a nice menu, good breakfast, easy parking, close to motorway booked a triple room, expected 3 proper beds. Got two beds and a roll away, so uncomfortable not possible to sleep on. Triple room, TWO cups for ONE drink. Triple rooms should be just that - a room fit for THREE people, not a double with a bit of mattress thrown in as an afterthought. Room was far too small for three adults. Please don't insult the paying customer who knows better.
Comfort Fittings Lack of Air Conditioning
it is nice and calm hotel. it is situated in calm place. breakfast is finished too early. small room for three persons
Breakfast is good. Staff is kind and helpful. Wi-Fi is terrible. Disconnections often occur.
This hotel is being done up by its owners who want to make a go of the hotel. The decoration and fittings are not good yet, but they will be in time. The price reflected this. The hotel is in the centre of Nerac which is a beautiful old town on the Baise. Lovely restaurants by the river
Lovely hotel and very good value for money, close to town centre & everything within walking distance. The young couple who own the hotel were excellent hosts and very helpful with local information.
Good value traditional small hotel in the lovely town of Nerac. Hotel owned by attentive young coupe who acquired it recently. Adjacent public parking. Nice breakfast in attractive dining room. Some may find the toilet and shower facilities a little quaint!
Friendly, helpful and professional couple running the hotel. The rooms are being renovated and are beautifully furnished. Always a pleasure to stay and I'm already looking forward to my next overnighting at Henri IV.
Nothing, In the centre of a big truck Park./non smoking room smelled of smokers./Air conditioning, did not tell you that it required a remote control./ Unless you saw the sign you would not enter the Truck Park, nothing wrong withTruckers ,but not the place for a family Hotel
Easy return to Auto route Difficult to find--SatNav not precise enough........Get a new chef...........
Comfortable bed, room was clean and well maintained. Good overnight stop whilst travelling. Restaurant closed Friday nights and weekends but we were directed to one a short drive away. Hotel is situated in a lorry park but fortunately there was no traffic on the Friday night! Difficult to locate hotel even though it was only just off the Autoroute.
Basic but good enough for a one night stopover
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Ideal for a stop over.
a good basic hotel, clean and comfortable. Very quiet at the back of the hotel.Breakfast good value.Hotel good value shower room was very small but adequate for us. We were just passing throughstaying one night
Well located hotel The breakfast was extremely poor for €6 a person. The room had a strange white powder falling on everything in the room all night. Spiders' webs all over the room. Cleanliness could have easily been improved.
I liked the location and the atmosphere the L'Auberge has
Friendly arrival, Home cooking-simple. Basic but adequate room. Simple breakfast. Cheap overall. No other guests. Good view.
Location is ideal in the country and peaceful and the welcome was charming. The food was nothing special apart from the starter
Atmospheric on the Compestela Pilgrim's route, opposite Larresingle medieval villiage and Chateau. Good simple meals.
a peaceful location, easy to find, comfortable bed, good for late afternoon sunshine outside.... the welcome was awful, there was dry rot in the ceiling over the bed, dropping residue on to the bed.The charge for the digestive for myself & wife at 16 euros was disgraceful. The breakfast was very ordinary for the price and the bread was stale...the "owner " who served breakfast was not welcoming...compared with lots of logis we have stayed in on this holiday. We were glad to leave, clearly not a Logis of France which has a good reputation.
We were the only guests for dinner but were very well looked after by the Head Waiter.
Located in a beautiful countryside Chateau Lassalle is a good place to relax. It is charming in a 'shabby chic' way. However, it is quite isolated and one depends on the hotel for breakfast and dinner. It is not the best for visiting Agen and other sites. The breakfast and especially dinner are overpriced. We would not recommend it as a place to stay for city trips.
The suite was beautiful. The setting was lovely and we had a wonderful meal in the garden- the staff were friendly and looked after us well. The chairs in the breakfast room were not brilliant for my husband who was suffering with a bad back.
The staff were so kind and helpful. We had our dog with us and this proved to be no problem at all. What a treat to find a nice hotel in France!
