Nice hotel convenient situation to ferry port for overnight stop-off.Nice restaurant with friendly and helpful staff
The friendliness of the staff, excellent food, great value. We have stayed here twice, and look forward to the next time our travels take us there.
The friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff - reception ... restuarant ... cleaning ... to mention just a few. The car parking area. It doesn't really allow for larger cars to park with ease.
poor breakfast - colazione con poca scelta
The utmost perfect hotel. Lovely decorated, excellent staff and restaurant. Very few hotels can match the perfection and professionalism that is shown at El Vallés. Highly recommended... very good value for yr money. For sure will return on a next trip in this area. Only a few minor suggestions are to be made: 1. Restaurant should open at 19.30 instead of 21.00 hours. 2. A box with tissues in the room. 3. For convenience: Add hand shower in the bathroom, that already excellently is equipped.
Staff were helpful and spoke some English; rooms comfortable and food and wine in restaurant were excellent value for money, as was breakfast. Situation not good as outside the village and on a very busy main road; restaurant not open until after 9.30pm not helpful; the rooms we were given were on the ground floor, so there was a security issue if windows were to be left open at night.
The rooms are excellent, good size and very comfortable. Spotless. Staff very friendly. Restaurant superb; chef Miguel Cobos very imaginative with excellent variety in the menus. N/A
good hotel spoiled by very noisy situation next to main road and the fact that aircon was not had not been switched on. Spain can be hot ion late April! see above
Hotel is too far from the main city. And no sign on the road. No enough convinient items such as soap and shampoo etc...
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and it was excellent value for money a perfect stopover for the Santander/Plymouth ferry and they accepted our West Highland terrier.
convenient stop on the way back to Bilbao. Although the town itself does not have much to see, the surrounding villages are very pretty and interesting. The hotel itself was confortable and clean.
Situated in a beautiful unspoilt Spanish town. I had a very relaxing overnight stop on my journey. Will definetely return
Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location in this vibrant town just off the Plaza Mayor. Lots of bars and restaurants around. Lovely typical Spanish town, The carpark was away from the hotel but didn't pose a problem. No menu for breakfast so it was unclear what was on offer to guests in the cafeteria.
The central position in an ancient town, close to the churches and main square. Modern, well run hotel inside an old facade Not easy to find, as street signage was minimal
The room was clean and comfortable. The position was central with easy access to restaurants and bars. Difficult to find. Room looked out on derelict buildings. There was no balcony as described in the hotel information. Staff spoke little English. Breakfast was in the cafe and it was not clear what was available to guests. The "garden terrace" was a small rectangle of grass surrounded by derelict buildings!
