The BEST WESTERN City Hotel Moran is a charming 4 Star hotel in a beautiful historic building centrally located in Prague near Moldavia River. Within walking distance you will find most of Prague's stunning sights, such as the National Theatre, Charles Bridge, Wenceslav's Square, the Castle or the medieval town center. Situated near the hotel is also the Technical University, the Botanic Gardens, the VFN Clinic, the Ministry of Justice or the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing. Subway and Tramway stations are within a few hundred meters. For guests arriving by car, parking space is reserved at a garage opposite the hotel. You will enjoy a rich and varied American breakfast buffet, with many
The breakfast was great. It was a quiet location. It was only a 15 minute walk to the old town square so close to all the tourist sites but far enough away to be out of the crowds. Also, the neighboring cafes cost less than in the city center and the food was good. Staff were also friendly and helpful.
pillows were flat.
The room had a great view of the city. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast had an array of selections. The subway (metro) was walkable and so were many parts of the city, the grocery store Billa is very close, the atm and every necessity was within reach. The wifi worked wonderfully throughout the premises and it being free was a very thoughtful thing for a traveler.
The business center was set up like a phone booth and with only one computer fortunately I had my own laptop. The breakfast meats only had pork and didn't provide any other alternatives such as chicken, turkey or beef.
Our third stay at this hotel and I'm sure we'll be back again in the future. Slightly away from the usual tourist haunts and therefore a quieter and less commercialised area. An easy and pleasant walk along the river soon brings you to Charles Bridge and the Old Town etc. and in the opposite direction is the Vysehrad area interestingly different with alternative views of the city. The hotel has a useful little mini-mart in reception just the thing for a night cap or late night nibbles or any forgotton necessities. Nearby are several local bar/restaurants serving delicious Czech food (and beer) at very competitive prices! Breakfast at the hotel is plentiful, staff polite and helpful and all is spotlessly clean throughout.
great helpfull staff!!
Very good location close to river and Charles Bridge; bright modern rooms, all amenities, good breakfast, free parking on weekends across street.
Due to street corner location can be somewhat noisy on workday mornings
This Hotel should not be advertised as a 4 stars establishment for a simple reason: It does not reunite the facilities of a 4 stars Hotel. The rooms are small and common, and they advertise it as "deluxe" double rooms. It is an outrage for the innocent traveler to make a reservation at a four stars Hotel and arrive to this place. It completely ruined my vacation. I will never make a reservation through your company again. one last piece of advice: let the customers know that Best Western does not own this Hotels before they make the reservation and not after.
Our child loved the alcoves by the windows
The elevators were horrible. The doors stayed open for a very short time and did not care that something was between the doors.
I would like to have internet conexion in own room.
I believe that supper must be offered as the breakfast. Usually we arrive tired for the travel and to have dine in the hotel was very comfortable.
cleaner than any hotel in the US I have seen. Excellent breakfast, top personal service, no pushy tipping atmosphere, common in North America. No sales pitches (although Prague has a lot to offer), perfect respect to guest privacy. Short distance to Downtown by foot, tramway or metro.
The room was very nice and also the breakfast.
cleanliness, comfort and a great location and best coffee and crossiants in prague
would benefit from more variation on the dinner menu
