I very much enjoyed my stay at Hotel Noir. The location is very central and only a few hundred feet away from the nearest Metro stop. The price was also very reasonable as it included a delicious breakfast and a fast Internet connection. The staff was always very friendly and incredibly helpful with all of our requests.
Some very minor inconveniences and nothing that should dissaude anyone, but worth noting nonetheless. Like most old buildings in the Czech Republic, there are stairs in some very odd places. Once you walk into the room, you enter a foyer that leads to the bathroom and then there is a narrow set of stairs that leads to the bedroom. The bedroom itself is enormous, but if you are carrying large luggage, be prepared to haul it up a flight of stairs to your room! I also stayed in the top floor of the hotel, so as expected, it got quite warm. However, the air conditioning is more than sufficient to keep you cool once it starts up. Just don't forget to turn it on!
