Staff were very friendly. The hotel was dark in public areas with no main lighting especially at the lifts. The room was also very noisy and I was slightly dissapointed at my Junior Suite as it was a basic UK double room. It should be noted the distance from the center of town as a taxi is a must for any travel there.
Excellent restaurant - which appears to be owned and managed separately - friendly, helpful staff in restaurant. Room was not in accordance with booking; reception staff were unhelpful; manager was unavailable. Rooms and corridors could have been maintained better.
The hotel was centrally located between Venice and Treviso Airport. The restaurant did not offer a big selection and we chose to eat elsewhere. The hotel did offer much diversity and we did not eat there.
Late check in after the aircraft was delayed. Prompt action to deal with noisy party in the next room. Helpful and knowledgable front desk staff
The leisure centre the bar closed too early
i stayed with 1 child and therefore we liked the swimmingpool. the beds were to hard. the breakfast was ok, but expected more
Friendly service Room that needs renovation -old sink, bath and shower -
I found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. The hotel and room were very clean. I found that having access to wireless internet was useful as we could find information like train times when we needed to. The pool was a good size and I found the surrounding area to be clean and relaxing. Our double room and bathroom was a good size. The jacuzzi did not seem to work. I thought the hotel lounge area lacked a bit of atmosphere and that they could do with some background music. I found the hotel drinks and food to be a little on the pricey side compared to surrounding areas, however the service was good.
An efficient business hotel in small format. The pool was closed. There was no information about this when I booked.
i think it is a best hotel is low budgets hotel and the staff is very cooperative specially the lady at reception
It was very good and I would have been totally staisfied by your staff had not your receptionist, at 4.00 am on New Yer's day, after seeing us walking in full of snow, did not help us by providing some hot coffee, water etc.
The room clenliness is good. Amenity goods are also well served. I had a room with large terrace which would be nice in the summer. The hotel stuff did not give us enough information about public transportation (a bit different from their explanation so we were confused in Vence central bus terminal when we wanted to take a bus to go to the hotel). The parking costs 10 euro per a night, even if there is not written on this site. and breakfast is too expensive for us...
Even having the same price, the rooms have diffrent quality; our door was not working and they had to give us another one; we have discovered that they have laso better rooms, even if they have the same price
Hotel staff & services The quality of the furniture existing in triple room was not the same level like double rooms.
the hotel staff and the room facility very thin walls - we could hear everything from the next-door room
The hotel was near 2 great supermarkets (lidl and auchan) and 2 mins from the bus stop that takes you to venice (1.1 euros each way to venice). the hotel served its purpose for us, that is a place to sleep for me my wife and 2 kids. we had no breakfast so i cannot comment on that. staff was very helpful and gentle. there was a no light (it was broken) next to the room so i found it difficult to open the door and we hate the dark. then there were ants in the room. but other than that it was quite good
Overall, poor services and expensive considering the location.
I like the price, the option for luggage storage and it's near to the bus station.
There is free Wi-Fi in a lobby. You can also use Hotel's PC. (It's not free.) You can park your car beside the hotel without charge. There is air-conditioning and a hair-dryer in the room. There is a bus-stop near the hotel and you can take a bus to Venice every 30 minutes. Night-bus doesn't stop near the hotel. You must walk for 20 minutes from the bus-stop to the hotel.
Reception Staff were brilliant. This is a perfect hotel for business as a base for visiting Venice. Treviso town centre is 15 minutes a way by car and then 30 minutes by train to Venice so not a bad location fo tourists. Treviso centre is clean and safe and relaxed. Wish we could have spent more time there. Ample parking at the hotel. Everything was excellent
the spa part of the hotel.yhe atmosphere was very relaxing
This large and comfortable hotel is situated a few miles from Treviso airport and an ideal place to stay before catching a flight so long as you have transport to get to the airport which is about a ten minutes drive away by car. The hotel is situated close to a main road which is fairly busy around rush hour and it lays within the confines of a business estate.
The hotel was excellent. The staff were very helpful and everyone spoke good english (we don't speak any italian) The room rate was very good for this standard of hotel(4 star) and the prices for food and drinks was very reasonable. Will definitely stay at this hotel again when we next visit this area.
Located near to airport, and on a direct route to Venice, the prime purpose of the visit. Flexible restaurant, al la carte, or pizza options. Friendly and helpful staff. Room too hot, unable to adjust temperature.
restaurant, very good!!!
the hotel was clean and very well presented, the staff were helpful, knowlegable and curtious. The local train station to take you to Venice was only a 10min walk or 2min car journey away therefore the hotel is well located for tourists.
Between Airport and Railway station Air conditioning can be noisy
the food and the staff both excellant
breakfast swimming pool opening times, lady working at the spa entrance, the hotel is quite old and does not seem so on the website
The staff were very helpful and polite. It really doesn't look like a 4 star hotel, it should be qualified as a 3 stars.
Friendly staff,good breakfast,good location.
Staff... Bus access to Venezia, Mestre Train station and Airport.... We were given a twin bed rather than a double bed room when we booked a doublebed room
Good reception Bad manner waiters!!! This hotel isn't adeguate for its category
The personnel especially on reception were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is conveniently situated both for Venice and the airport - easy access by bus. I was given a single room where the shower unit and the toilet were together.I was told that all the single rooms were like that except for one which was in use that day. I was given the "special" single room the following day where the shower and bath were separate. So single travellers take note of this.
Nice lobby, secured parking (free) and easy access to the bus line into and out of Venice. shower very small, if a 4 star hotel, seemed ran-down in the room areas, to include room.
The bus stop to Venecia is just at the door!
Convenient location: <30min by bus (#15) to/from the Airport, <15 min by bus (#2) to/form Venice . Tip: use the same bus ticket-- it's valid for 75 min, which is plenty for time to reach the hotel, check in or out and then continue on. Loved the breakfast too. A toilet in the shower? This is more weird than truly inconvenient but still... A sliding door in the stall was also missing so it took some time to warm up the whole bathroom. But not a big deal overall.
Very helpful staff and they speak and understand english. Food is also good. Location is very good. The Single Room was very small and cramped. At same value have stayed in bigger rooms.
sleeping poor service (even I couln"t find correct time's clock) all worng breakfirst shift also very poor
Value for the money, decent free breakfast, comfortable room, helpful staff, allowed us to park the car for free in front of hotel since their small parking lot was full. direct public bus to venice next to the hotel with decent frequency although can be too crowded with locals Shower doors did not close properly. Not the best location and hotel staff cautioned us about car break-in at public parking places near to the hotel. I would not call it 4 star based on US standards.
Lovely hotel with nice big bedroom
Location was very convenient Aircondition was not functioning well
The bathroom is well equiped and spacious. Also, in the the room you can have enough space. Parking area was really safe. The breakfast is good in overall, but lacking fruits and vegetables. The walls of the room are very thin, therefore we have heard all the words were told on the corridor. Every morning, accurately at 7.45 you can (have to..) wake up for a belltower's 'ding-dong' sound...well, this is not the fault of the hotel, just a simple fact. Breakfast is lacking fruits and vegetables.
Room is nice, clean and confortable. The staff is helpful. Easy and simply access to Venice. Worth its price.
It is very clear hotel and open 24hours and good location for Venice touring (10min by bus) Cooking is available, however there is needed additional charge $44 for during staying hotel (They required for cleaning fee) and Wify is chargeable depending on time type.
Friendly staff, good location (close to bus stops to Venice and airport shuttle), quiet and safe environment, possibility of buying tickets for transports at the reception Tv satellite is very poor. Only two or three channels in languages other than italian. Two sports channels not showing any of the major sports events (uefa Champions League, Tennis, etc.).
I am finding it hard to write anything good about this hotel experience from our family visit. Yes, the breakfast was very plain and boring. The coffee was foul and juice tasted like something out of a packet mix. The hotel room was nothing like it was as shown in the pictures that you have on your web site. We only booked this place because it seemed really clean and had a nice bath tub. On arrival we didn't get a bath tub in our room, he had to ask to change rooms as we need a bath to bath our 8 month old son. The staff were good about this and gave us a room with a bath tub. The room was better, but the bath was the size of the basin. The room felt cold and damped.
It was very close to the town centre of Mestre (15mins walk). All the staff had good English and i was surprised by the high standard of the room it had a kitchen and dining area I was not expecting to have like a mini apartment There was not a lot of information about the local area for things to do etc if you did not want to go into Venice city everyday or that there was a siesta everyday for 12.30 until 3.30 and nowhere opens on Monday until 3.30 except cafes
Location (10min bus drive to Venetie), personel friendly, simple but ok hotel for a fair price. Fixed 1 of the sun blinds and fixed the leaking bath ourselves (minor repairs, so easy that we did not complain, most people would have). Cleanliness of the room could be better in the hard to reach spots.
Lovely rooms and great, helpful staff. The restaurant was a bit overpriced, but that;s Europe. Andraea the bartender was terrific. Would stay there again on our next visit to Venice. 8 Euros for a small bowl of soup!!
We arrive very earlier and they gave us a room right away. That was great. It was too far away from the center of Venice and too expensive to get there and back by cab. We picked it because it was close to the airport which was convenient when we wanted to leave.
It's out in the middle of nowhere.
Location was great. So was the service.
Great location near a big mall and really nice and modern room. accessible to both venice city center and only 10 min away to the airport. Will definitely recommend this to friends
Moderm & Clean They could not get the Airconditioning to work in our room. After waiting at the Maco Polo airport for over an hour for thier hotel suttle,we finally took a taxi to the hotet for 35 Euro.
The staff were always on hand for whatever reason. Easy to arrange transport to and from the hotel due to the good customer care.
closeness to airport
1) attractive building/decor 2) staff seemed efficient and tried to be responsive to our complaints 1) we asked for a 7:00am call and it came at 6:00am 2) there was no bar of soap in the bathroom 3) It was slightly difficult to arrange transfer to airport (we had to complain for an extra service to be put on) despite this being the reason we picked this hotel
Excellent hotel staff, good breakfast, beautiful garden where you can eat and have caffee -
Clean, friendly, well kept, nicely located to train station Breakfast was not up to expectations at that level of hotel, no restaurant or room service, not able to eat in room, no tub
very clean and comfortable; the staff was very friendly and competent.
good value to price ratio, close to Venice but difficult to find although it's located on the main road -
Breakfast is very very poor!
The hotel and furnishings were luxurious but we felt very welcome. We liked the location as Venice was within easy reach by train but was more relaxing than staying in Venice. The breakfast was disappointing for a 4 star as the cold buffet was very limited and did not offer cheese, meat or eggs which you would expect for a hotel of this caliber.
The room was very comfortable. The hotel had lots of charm and the staff were very pleasant. It is a very short walk to the station and easily accessible to Venice. The hotel breakfast was horrible - the worst I have ever had. It really didn't compare to the rest of the hotel which was very pleasant.
The commun al areas had fine antiques, frescoes and the reception staff were multi-lingual and very helpful. The room was split level with the upper floor being the larger living area in the eves. The quality of the bathroom was high Breakfast bland but coffee good.
Beautiful room and surroundings. Excellent Breakfast. Very reasonable rates. Highly recommended! I was under the impression that my room would have a jacuzzi bath, however this was not present when I arrived
The whole environment was very well prepared in order to make you feel good. The landscape, the grass around, the alleys, the room were all nice and clean. Everything is done with attention for details in order to make you welcome. The hotel is very close to the railway station and city center. It takes around 30-35 minutes from the hotel to the central railway station in Venice (including 4-5 minutes walking to the railway station and travel time by train). Tickets cost 7.5 Euro for 2 persons 2 ways (to Venice and back). This is not an observation for Foscarini but in general I think Internet access should be cheaper. Is unacceptable in 21st century to ask 1 Euro per 1 hour of Internet access in Europe. I think 1 Euro per day makes sense but otherwise is really a rubbery.
easy public transport to Venice
breakfast was good, rooms are big room style
in overall it is ok, good value for money breakfast's components, some products were off. also one wall in the room was a bit wet or badly redecorated
The hotel is nice enough. The staff were all nice and friendly, willing to answer questions. The lobby was very clean and the exterior and bar area were nice. The breakfast was pretty good, especially considering it was included. The room was basically a closet....with a window view of a wall. At least it was clean but it was basically a dorm room with a tiny bed. The walk to the train station isn't too bad, and the hotel even provided a map/schedule of train times, but bring an umbrella! (it rains there, a lot!)
location, reception staff cleanliness of the room
Close to Treviso airport. Bedroom small and old furnishings.
Room was spacious and clean. Hotel staff seemed disinterested. The sign to mark the hotel faced the wrong direction and made the locating of the hotel at night from the direction of the main road difficult.
local for travel no tea coffee mini bar only had 3 drink
No porters or anyone to help with lugage
The young workers who spoke English. Poor communication and no respect from the kitchen staff. They have a lot to learn.
Good "Value For Money" hotel in an ideal position for visiting Venice after landing at Treviso Airport. A stroll from the train station for 15-20 minute inexpensive trip into Venice and Mogliano is a pleasant town in its own right. Good breakfast. Hotel a little tired in places and not the thickest of internal walls but nevertheless good value and would have no hesitation in staying again.
Big rooms and good location to visit Venice!
I stayed at the hotel to take a ship for a cruise. The location was very convenient, because it was very easy to go till the ship, at "Statione Maritime" with a taxi, and, as I heard, the cheapest way too. The hotel is very good, with a big room, good food and good service and facilities.
Location (across the street from the train station, a 4 minute walk to the bus station) Located in Mestre and a 7 minute train ride to Venice Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating Room was large Included breakfast Weird shower/bathtub design made showering a bit difficult to avoid splashing water on the floor
Smelled nice. Looked clean. Wifi. Reasonable room size. Staff took bags to our room. They put us in our room before it was ready, so we got kicked out for a bit while the staff finished up preparations - this happened after recommended check-in time
second visit and the staff was very helpfull plaisant and efficient, the location was perfect opposite the station for train link to venice and bus to airports, the food in the restaurant was good value and quality, room plaisant but front of building too noisy to sleep, room at the back perfect the bathroom was not clean enough mould on shower tray
close to Mestre station, as it was in the station. rooms very clean, a/c perfect. breakfast very nice. no
Hotel was comfortable and clean. Perfect location for visit to Ferrari Museum.
Well to tell you the truth I liked the friendliness of their staff more than anything else. The housekeeping was poor although the linen and towels provided were very clean.
Its was easy access to the town The breakfast
breakfast was a good choice each morning.
The breakfast was surprising - - many choices. The rooms were simple but well-equipped and very comfortable. Being just across the street from the train station was a huge plus for us.
Super convinient for visiting Venice (2 minutes from Venice Mestre station and 10 minitus from Venice by train).Clean, confortable, and ery attractive service and price quality ratio.
the hotel is near the railways station and it is very easy to go to Venizia center and also to the differents airports. nothing
Great location if you are willing to be based in Mestre - which I strongly recommend considering the bus to the island is right outside the hotel (10min bus trip) and its a total rip off staying in venice unless you are ok staying in a 2 star (which will be impossible to find) when for the same price you can stay in a 4 star on the mainland. The bus is 24hr service..
Very friendly and helpful staff. they even sell you the bus tickets which is next door. We were very happy withe the location and parking convenience.
location infront of the mestre station. good breakfast. room decoration and facilities.
Convenience to Marco Polo airport Venice. Honest price and good value.
good value, few minutes to station. Clean and tidy.
The hotel was modern and very clean and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The breakfasts which were included in our stay were the same each day.
It was very quiet in the room. I could freely use the fast internet connection. The service was excellent. TV channels in English were rather limited, for example when I wanted to get the weather forcust in Venice where the hotel is situated.
Nice hotel, good breakfast Not up to 4-star standard you would expect. 10-15 mins bus ride to outskirts of venice. If you want to get to the heart of venice (st Mark's square) its another 40 minute walk/taxi boat (e6 one way).
Location opposite the Train station allowa a one stop journey to vennice at the cost of one euro. A cheaper alternative than staying in a hotel in vennice itself. A small but convenient and clean hotel
for the short stay we had and the bus and train close by it suited us very well all was ok not sure if you had evening meals that was our problem had to use the chinesse close by or mcdonalds
Location Keeping the ham and cheese together in one plate and to be taken by one spoon this is absoulatly not good specially fior the vegetarians.Tea pots must be kept for tea drinkers.Brown bread must be kept and white bread which is healthier must be used.Less cakes etc.and healthier food must be kept.If improvements made can always suggest other people and specially the vegetarians.I would like to use your web site and suggest others also.As I travel around I have given the above suggestions as seen in different hotels and different places.
Close to the city but had to walk lot from Mestre train station to find the hotel so better to take the bus from there which goes infront of hotel and street name is Cardcucci. i will go back again whenever i will be in venice and suggest others to be there as well
The location. Buses to and from Venice stop at 150 meters distance from the hotel (line 7). Atcv tickets can be bought in the Post Office at the right site of the entrance of the hotel. Buses to and from the airports stop at 600 meters distance. The hotel is located near the Mestre Centre. Plenty of shops over there (better than the Venice shops!). Low price. No fridge, so not suited for stays during summer. Our room was located at the back side, hardly any noise from outside but for a fan that hummed quite irritating during daytime and nights. Thin walls and even thinner floors. Hotel is only suited for autumn and winter stays, not for light sleepers. Poor breakfast (even the more expensive "Buffet Breakfast")
big windows with city and road view. Its location!just next to the bus station and the local market! decoration was poor!needs to be renovated!
Greate price, good location, easy access to Venezia, nice comfortable rooms Breakfast could be setup better: food, coffee cups and cutlery all ran low an hour before breakfast finished
The breakfast wasn't great. Not a lot of choice other than weird little cake type things and bread.
Very clean hotel close to Venice Mestre train station (on foot - 10 mins approx) (important if you want to visit Veneto's other beautiful towns - Padova, Vicenza, Verona, and one shoud do if he is staying for more than 3 days) and the bus to P Le Roma (Venice) stops about 50 meters from the hotel. Helpful and friendly staff... Continental breakfast was nothing special.
Easy to find, honest breakfast, just cross the street to take a bus to Venezia, nice restaurants on the surroundings. Small rooms, no parking lot (there is an agreement with a parking lot but it is too far from the hotel).
breakfast staff not very welcoming, the room TV didnt work, and no air conditioning working neither, had to change the room to have TV working but still no air con
Genuinely helpful staff Not very centrale
lovely local hotel, quirky and unique, true venetian tradition. Excellent staff and nothing too much trouble
Location - Good value and close proximity to Venice. Staff helpful and made good recommendations regarding travel to/from Venice. Nothing
good location, small rooms, same breakfast every day
Manly the restaurant
Closeness to public transport which made it easier to get into Venice The staff were helpful but not particularly friendly. They seemed to be a bit too aloof.
Room was cute and good location to venezia
The car park was quite useful & the breakfast was good The room was dirty especially the fitted carpet is worn out & disgusting, also we've had a power cut while I was taking a bath which was inconvenient at all, and finally the staff were rude and unhelpful.
Nice and clean hotel. Very kind hotel personal. No bad points
The location is great. Easy access to Venice by train. Cheap daily passes from the front desk. Rooms are simple and cozy but tidy and well kept. This is not a 5* accommodation, but it represents fantastic value and ease of access from VCE and Venice. Housekeeping staff is wonderful. Piazzas nearby offer food and shopping. Complimentary breakfast and wifi. Noise from the hallway and between rooms can be disruptive, especially during weekends.
It is very nice hotel with friendly staff on very good location. It is our second time there and we'll go in this hotel whenever we will be visiting Venice.
staff not very helpfull, the shower had no independence from the rest of the bathroom, so everytime we showered, the whole bathroom ended up soaked. the tv was not easy to operate.
convenient, good breakfast, good value noise disturbance from other guests
friendly staff and easy acess to venice, also very quiet
there is a bus station in front of the hotel, and we can take the bus line 2 go to Venice. both the bathroom and the room are very small, and the room is breakfast is not good.
The hotel's location in Mestre is very good, close to the walking area, and nice restaurants. The staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms were clean, the cleaning lady was also very nice. Breakfast was also good. You could hear people walking in the floor because of the thin walls, but it was not disturbing too much.
The bus connection to Venice is convenient, but the hotel is still pretty far away compared with others closer to the train station. The breakfast was just OK. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are horrible - definitely not 3 stars. Old, soft beds; dated furniture and carpet; "non-smoking" room stunk of smoke, and the entire bathroom floor floods when you take a shower. Stay away!
The hotel was clean and had great service in an excellent location for public transport to Venice.
Friendly hosting and good advises are the first things that I remember out of my stay ... I strongly recomend the hotel
Customers need to realise that the hotel is located a good 45 min away from Venice (Piazzale Roma). The room I was given had a rather grim and grey decor, was small. Breakfast is plenty and excellent. The owners at the reception were friendly and helpful with queries and advice on anything asked.
Staff were fantastic, room was spacious and in a great location with bus right outside to take you to Venice. Highly recommended!!
After a very bad first night at a hotel near Rialto bridge, we were very pleased to be welcome at Amadeus; we were allowed to check in before the normal check in time, which was extremely convenient for us as we had luggage. The personnel at the reception was very helpful and welcoming. If ever visiting Venice in the future I will certainly make a reservation a t Amadeus. Thanks and keep up the good work Nothing particularly
Excellent location. Room and bathroom were adequate for our needs. Breakfast was very good with a very good range of food on offer. Not a bad place to stay but as with most Italian hotels we stayed in, I wonder how they achieved a 4 star rating. A couple of dismissive and unhelpful front office staff. No restaurant. Couldn't get a cup of coffee at the bar unless we paid cash, ie. couldn't put it on the bill for the room. And just plain closed one night. We thought we might get a last minute ticket to the Opera but travelling, our clothes were crushed. Could we borrow an iron? No, fire regulations forbid it. OK, fair enough. Did they have an ironing room? No. Could they arrange to have our clothes pressed? No, it's Sunday, bring them down tomorrow? That'll be handy for the Opera tonight. Whole hotel was overheated and could not be cooled because "it was November and the air conditioning is turned off in October and heating turned on". Fortunately the windows opened, even if it was occasionally noisy.
comfortable quiet room
Hotel located near the bus area (to get to the airport).Hotel located in a good area of Venise. The noise but I assume every area in Venise is "noisi"
The location is very good (near the rail station) for us who needed to leave very early (6am) the last day. They gave us a bag with breakfast goods since breakfast started at 7am. A very good value for money for us (March 07), but the same hotel for June has doubled the price!! One of the 3 days there was no hot water in the whole Hotel, so we could not take a shower. However this was fixed during the day (it was Sunday).
The breakfast was the only good thing about the Amadeus hotel, the staff were unhelpful, the room too small and dirty and the bathroom was so small as to almost be unusable Poor service - staff would not even come to room, air conditioning did not work, water would not drain from bath, bathroom and bedroom were dirty and too small
Comfortable elegant hotel. Very good breakfast. Nice garden. Room very quiet and spacious despite being in busy street in Venice. Being close to the station makes handling luggage and final dash for the train much easier. Nothing
There was easy access to shopping and transporation. Hotel staff was not very friendly or courteous. I expected a more luxirious environment, online advertisement of facility was misrepresented.
Beautiful surroundings - decor, gardens, spaciousness. Our room was very small with insufficient drawers for 2 people. Bath plug leaked and was not adequately fixed during our stay, despite repeated complaints.
Very Luxury Hall Unacceptable the first room: ground floor, close to the cleaning room and baggage storage!!!! No five star treatment at all!!!!! Discounted rooms here are a fraud!!!!!!
The only good thing about the hotel was the Building and its surroundings!! Have you seen the condition of theTVs??? Have you ever seen out of date old sets with fuzzy images in any luxury hotel? Or uncleared tables? Or Spider's web all around?
Luxury hotel for a reasonable price. Extra services are expensive though. Nice location by canal and very quiet, but close to Vaporetto. Would have been nice with an airport shuttle service
We got upgraded to a truly palatial room.
Quiet location and nice garden Room not adequate for 5 star services poor
Lovely hotel, beautiful room. We received excellent service at this hotel, I am not sure why others reviews are not complementary.
I liked the location although away from the tourist area. I also liked the boat that took you around. The staff were very friendly and professional The trip to the Murano factory which was to the most expensive area. The room was also extremely hot and could not be controlled
It was absolutely amasing Too expensive and not really 5 star
bar service never getting through to service people, old fascilities in room, bad food
Frendly staff. Excelent Service.
Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff, quiet, close to transport (vaporetto), beautiful room, lovely atmosphere and sense of history although sympathetically and well modernised.
Everything was excellent
I really liked the room and the bathtab with jacuzzi. Nothing
A short walk from the bus station and an even shorter walk from the water bus make this an ideal location. The colourful decor in this restored building makes it unique. Excellent breakfast too!
I liked the welcoming attitude of the staff. The hotel is cheerful both in thatvaspect and the decor is fresh and inviting. The rooms are unique as well as the breakfast room. The location works great as I arrived by train and it is a short walk and I rolled my luggage there. Then, went on to walk around.it is close to everything including a vaporetto if you prefer to return to the hotel that way after a long day of walking and sightseeing.also restaurants are nearby that seem to cater to locals as well,Especially Pizzeria Anfora.I was with my 9 year old daughter and she loved the experience, we felt well taken care of there. We would go back. As buildings in Venice are centrally controlled as to heating and air conditioning and as we were lucky and glad for the mild temperatures in early November, the room was a bit warm, I opened the window and it was appropriately cooler but had to suffer a bug or two.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel's décor is charming and very quirky. The place is in short beautiful. We loved staying here because Domina Home Ca Zusto is something different to the normal. Nothing wrong here. All was as advertised or better.
friendly staff , though not very prorfessional:) the internet conection was very bad!!! no buffet breakfast we were told the room was broken and asked we used room service
Good location The hotel is nice but expensive and were charged 4 euros per person and per day as local tax, in the top of that.
Room was clean Shower is not of this time anymore, after taking a shower you could swim in the bathroom, why not having a simple showercabine or so? The breakfast was very poor. For Internet you had to pay, while the website claims it is for free.
Very helpful staff Extremely small and compact space even by European standards.
great location, good service hotel look great until you get to the room. bathroom needs to update.
As they sit on a good location, they do not bother looking afer guests . They should at least be friendly
The breakfast buffet was good. This hotel was the worst experience in our entire trip to Europe. The staff made us book an extra room because they said there was no way they could bring in an extra bed for my son because it was against "Italian law" to have 5 people in a room. We stayed in other hotels in Italy and never had these problems.
The room are very comfort. I got the free upgrade to the canal view room that make me so surprise and enjoy. Breakfast are good too. Location are find. Just the reception can be better, because the way they talk is not so friendly.
Excellent hotel in a good location. Very good breakfast.
Location was excellent - close to train, bus depot and vaporetta station. Room was comfortable and very clean. Good value for money. Some staff were excellent, others acceptable.
Our room was very comfortable and spacious overlooking the Grand Canal. The divan for our third adult was not as big as a regular single bed size.
Breakfast was very good. The internet did not work in the room.
We were fortunate to have our window 'overlook the canal(had requested it). Great view, great breakfast
the comfort and the stuff are very nice and good breakfast...
Hotel is situated near the railway station, comfortable, good breakfast.
staff kindness, excellent position, large, comfortable and very well equipped room, large bathroom, good continental breakfast included in price. a bit difficult to read being in bed (bed light power)
Rooms, location Breakfast, very bad internet conection which was not free
Friendly staff, nice & cosy room, close enough to most of the interesting locations and happenings (walking distance), but far enough from it for a good night sleep.
Everything was perfect. The staff was very professional, the room was incredibly comfortable and had a consistent oriental style; the breakfast was basic but of the greatest quality. The hotel is a bit far from the center of Venice, but this is good if you like a bit of peace and quiet.
Situated in a more residential part of town - but only 10 - 15 min walk to all main attractions this hotel was awesome. Staff were ridiculously friendly. Place is like a 5 star hotel. Completely renovated - all high tech switches in the rooms. Extremely cheap for what you get. Will be only place I stay in Venice from now on! Nothing
Nice room, quite large for Vinece, clean and comfortable. we spent our hooneymoon there - everything was fine. we loved the district and osteria near the hotel the hotel blocked the deposit on the credit card in 3 days before our arrival.
Excellent all round
My husband and I recently stayed at the Ai More d'Oriente for 4 days and 3 nights in December 2014 and loved it. Here's what we loved: LOCATION - The location was perfect... close, easy access to the vaperatto's (Venice's water taxis) as well as a short walk to the city center. STAFF - The staff was super helpful, friendly and accommodating. AMENITIES - Free wi-fi and breakfast. ROOMS - Comfortable, clean, nicely decorated rooms. The rooms are small but 1. that's to be expected in Europe and 2. We didn't come to Italy to stay in the room so the size wasn't an issue for us. Overall we felt we got an excellent value for what we paid. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The breakfast was a typical European breakfast. The coffee was excellent but the food options were not to our liking. However, it I free so not a big deal for us.
Very helpful staff Charging up to €8.00 for internet access is excessive, given the cost of staying in this hotel.
Excellent service by very professional staff who were extremely helpful with all our needs. We had special religious needs on Saturday and the staff was very cooperative. The atmosphere was very special in this boutique hotel in Cannareggio area of Venice on the canal. Absolutely peaceful and serene atmosphere that made us forget all everyday concerns. We highly recommend staying here and we will definitely stay here again this summer when we return to visit Venice.
rooms excellent character drinks in bar too expensive
very poor, I think 2 stars is more than enough for this hotel (motel)!
We came there an it looked like a prison on the outside...no one was there an it looked closed very run down...we just left girls got very nervous and scared
the staff was wonderful, and the shuttle service from the train station and to the airport was the main reason I booked the Villa Dori. The free internet was a very appreciated surprise I did not like the limited restaurant times
Very bad location, hard to find in my the newest GPS, too far from venice and need to w
