very big bedroom only neon light in bedroom; no fresh fruit for breakfast
As our plane arrived late into Treviso Airport, we were looking for a hotel close by. The airport is about 10-15 minutes away from the hotel, a little further than we had thought. There were no taxi's available, so it was helpful to be able to call the hotel and have the shuttle bus pick us up. The cost of the shuttle bus is 15 Euro, the taxi is 15 to 20 Euro we were told. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. The beds were comfortable and there were beautiful views of the Dolomite Mountains in the distance in the morning. The desk staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful with directions to the bus to Venice which was very easy to catch right out front of the Hotel. According to the hotel staff, the shuttle bus is not always available and you must call to check once your arrive at the airport. I would suggest emailing the hotel ahead of time to let them know if you may want to use this service.
cleanness and location of the hotel in a green area upon arrival they asked me to sign a blank form which i refused but the hotel staff (a big middle age man ) was not friendly to me!
The hotel was very clean and you were not disturbed very early in the mornings by cleaning staff knocking at your door. I found the language barrier quite difficult - very few of the staff spoke any English.
quality and position to move around (Treviso and Venize). better than go with the bus is to leave your car at Preganziol train station (free parking) and then take the train. internet is not free considering the price of the hotel.
the hospitality and the food of the hotel are very good. one should use this hotel if he wants to stay in the vicinity of the airport.
Very accessible to the airport and train stations.
New clean room rooms. In a quiet area outside Treviso, helpful staff. Family room was ideal for our twin boys and ourselves.
Hotel is new and in nice, quiet area. Lot of parking space. Bus and train services close and convenient for trips to Venice without taking car (train station is about 15 minute walk from hotel). Diner in hotel very good and affordable. Slow service during breakfast and dinner due to lack of staff, specially if there were lot of guests attending.
Large room and great breakfast.
Late check in after the aircraft was delayed. Prompt action to deal with noisy party in the next room. Helpful and knowledgable front desk staff
i stayed with 1 child and therefore we liked the swimmingpool. the beds were to hard. the breakfast was ok, but expected more
Friendly service Room that needs renovation -old sink, bath and shower -
Excellent restaurant - which appears to be owned and managed separately - friendly, helpful staff in restaurant. Room was not in accordance with booking; reception staff were unhelpful; manager was unavailable. Rooms and corridors could have been maintained better.
An efficient business hotel in small format. The pool was closed. There was no information about this when I booked.
Staff were very friendly. The hotel was dark in public areas with no main lighting especially at the lifts. The room was also very noisy and I was slightly dissapointed at my Junior Suite as it was a basic UK double room. It should be noted the distance from the center of town as a taxi is a must for any travel there.
The hotel was centrally located between Venice and Treviso Airport. The restaurant did not offer a big selection and we chose to eat elsewhere. The hotel did offer much diversity and we did not eat there.
The leisure centre the bar closed too early
I found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. The hotel and room were very clean. I found that having access to wireless internet was useful as we could find information like train times when we needed to. The pool was a good size and I found the surrounding area to be clean and relaxing. Our double room and bathroom was a good size. The jacuzzi did not seem to work. I thought the hotel lounge area lacked a bit of atmosphere and that they could do with some background music. I found the hotel drinks and food to be a little on the pricey side compared to surrounding areas, however the service was good.
Ok for one day. Good breakfast. Room was poor and looking old. No public parking.
Close to bus line that goes directly to the center of Venice, large parking lot, fridge in the room. No free wifi (1 eur/h), and it's 21st century!
Lovely warm, clean, spacious family room with comfortable beds. Bus stop right out the front of the hotel to Venice, with tickets and timetable available at reception. Breakfast good with a delicious cappuccino made from an original copper machine.
The restaurant was delicious and very convenient. The staff was very helpful, and the room was a great value.
Windows can not seperate me from the noise from the streets. so I did not sleep very well.
Nice place...Ask for Vanna and you will not have any problems with travelling, shopping and communications. The personal didn't speak english, or other language then italian, exc. of all is Vanna - very nice woman.
Nothing The beds had bugs, the A/C did not work, and the we used our cell Service as it was much faster than the slow wifi.
Very convenient to bus and train stops to Venice. Very friendly staff. Need slightly better directions on how to get to the hotel, particularly in light of road construction in the nearby area.
Very nice living environment and facility. The price is not too high but quite worthing. They don't speak English at all which is very difficult to communicate.
we were able to use the bicycles and the staff were friendly and helpfull
Nce hotel., close to the bus-stop. You can go really to the center of Venice. Nice breakfast. It's not about the hotel, but it was not easy to find it...
The hotel is across the train station but we were able to sleep with no noise, it was great since we were so tired from daily trips. Breakfast could have been better.
Hotel was right in front of the Venezia Mestre rail station that would take you to Venezia S.L. in 8 minutes for a couple of Euros. Most of the staff spoke English, but there were a few bumps in communication. No ice machine (found out that it's a European thing) The Double Bed was actually two singles put together.
Large comfortable and clean rooms, good breakfast. Rooms very quiet considering opposite train station. Excelllent location at a resonable price for those wanting to get into Venice. Staff efficient
Not much to say nice bout this place!! More like a 3* hotel than 4*, unfriendly staff overall, At breakfast had a rude waiter who would not bring me a Cafe latte when i asked for one politely even though he got one for an italian couple nearby!!! He Kept guiding me to the machine Americano stuff,,, If i wanted Americano I would have said so!!!! Not impressed with this place,, awful rooms with mosquitos!! Lobby was so hot and humid,, trying to save Electricity or faulty Aircon. ? Not impressed at all
location , accessibilty lift not working -seemed to be regular thing .breakfast quality not as expected
The hotel was clean in a great location & I would stay there again. I didn't like the bed because it was with rollers other than that everything was great.
It's a little bit old, but nice n clean. No coffee maker. Otherwise, nice n close to public transportation. (Cross street from train station to Venice.)
convenient location, excellent value for money
Updated rooms, comfortable bed, quiet, right across from train station to Venice, huge buffet breakfast, large bathroom, excellent wi-fi, luggage storage, centrally located Nothing
unly 2 elevators for the entire hotel .caused problems during breakfast
The location is excellent, just opposite the train station in Mestre. All you have to do is cross the street. The room was nice, with a huge bed and a big bathroom. The staff was very kind, always trying to help. The breakfast was good (cereals, milk, tea, coffee, juice, toast, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, ham, yellow cheese, muffins, croissants), but if you stay more than 2 or 3 days you need some diversity. And they have free wireless internet :) The heating worked just great, it was actually very hot in the room. So you won't freeze in Venice, as someone complained here earlier. The view from our room was not that good, towards the back of the hotel but that was only a minor detail. Since we didn't stay all day in the room this didn't matter.
I have been there only 2 days. Everything was ok. Cleanliness great. I would return there if I liked Venice;)
The camping was really far from public transportation. Good thing is the shuttle service to Venice. Bungalow as such is really good and has all facilities for sleeping and spending the night comfortably.
We arrived at Jolly in early morning and were able to enter the room emediately, which ws very kind from their staff. Location is a little bit critical especialy if you are coming to Jolly late at night.
Location is quite far from Venedig but still easy to find The room is far too small for 4 persons, it's more suitable for 2 persons. Most of the equipments are not in good conditions anymore.
It was cheap, there was a nice bar area to hang out in, and the shuttle to venice was very convenient. The walls are thin, you can hear neighbors easily. Should probably have a bath towel to step on, and the shower head sprayed sideways at certain points. Also, why only being able to pay with the card? Inconvenient to have to go to the office to fill the card and then be able to buy things around the campsite.
the beds were clean, the room was lockable, access to a food store, short distance to Venice pool attendant was not friendly, noisy guests in next trailer, there were no guest reviews available online.
The rooms were well kept and had everything I needed the weather that day
Nice friendly stuff, location is ok. Not everything is working like it should. E.g. sever was blocked.
friendly and helpfull staff, good pizza and spaghetti carbonara. lovely all round.
Very good and nice kamping. Wery good food excellent kitchen staff. Special thanks for very nice and helpful Monica from reception
Helpful staff, youth atmosphere, facilities in the village Very basic room, beds, sheets, blankets...etc. But acceptable for a camping village.
This place had a hostel type atmosphere with the ability for privacy as well. The staff was friendly, the facilities within camp jolly are excellent and the shuttle made getting to and from Venice very easy. This place had many different types of people from all ages and places. It was a greay way to see Venice and make some friends along the way The breakfast at camp jolly was average. You might be better off buying your own somewhere else
I was a pleasant trip thanks to the Hilton. I received the best service. And has provided me a beautiful view of Venice. If you go to Venice, I will go back to the Hilton. Thanks for making my travel special. Thank you :-)
not too much. I must say I am totally disappointed with my stay. I selected this particular propert because they had stated that they do have SPA facilities in the hotel. On the arrival we had been told that kids are not allowed in the SPA and, moreover, we need to pay extra for entering the SPA. I was not stated here in the hotel policies and the bookling representative told tha Hilton fills the data on booking for themselves. Hilton guys were saying just the opposite thing.
Location Free shuttle Cleanliness Would stay here again Heard people walking upstairs most of the night Concierge gave me different answers when I asked the same question Long wait for shuttle boat
The location was nice, just opposite the most attractive part of Venice on the mainland, with complimentary shuttle circulating 2 times/hr all day long. This was quite convenient for sightseeing. Lack of technical maintenance. As for a this class of hotel, too many things (especially in the bathroom) were fixed provisionally (e.g. tightened with toilet paper or just hanging loose, not to touch), so that on several occasions I found myself staring with confusion at some loose piece of armor in my hand. Each day we had problems with entering the room and had to report at the reception for re-coding our keycards. Getting to a TV channel of interest on the hotel TV was a challenge on it's on (perhaps this was faulty remote, but seems rather to be something wrong with the hotel TV menu).
The building is fantastic and the room was very comfortable Venice is not famous for bellboy service, it's the second time we stay there and carry the luggage to our room.
Rooftop Restocking the room
Staff were very helpful
Beautiful views of The city of venice, good free connections to Venice. Was not made to feel welcome, we had two small children, and felt this was a business hotel first and foremost. Although this was my partners and my Honeymoon, we have no childcare. So had to take our children long, there was no effort to make this a memorable stay, even though I had made them aware well in advance.
Location The room was not clean at check in. Used amenities. 1 sopa for 2 persona. A lot of mosquitos. Very small shower.
The view from the rooftop bar was amazing For the expensive room rate, I was shocked by a couple of things: - there was no free/included wifi - there were mosquitoes in the room. is it terribly hard to install screens? - there were stains on the wall from mosquitoes being squashed/killed - service was just OK One night is not enough time to take advantage of the amenities you're paying for.
The staff are very helpful and friendly The room was right in front of the pier of the hotel and during the night it can be very noisy. They should improve their windows for better soundproofing.
- Clean. - Comfort. The Location.
The Hotel is very nice and the breakfast was good as well. Verry nice location in the laguna. the hotel isn´t 800 meters from mestre train station. it´s a 5 minutes bus ride fron the station - a couple of kilometers. but it was easy to find even without a taxi.
external facade of the building and marina (for boats), underground car park air-condition problems, room not clean, hotel looks as new but is very used, very dirty windows, very big noice wehn the doors for room must be open (access card mechanism)
I enjoyed the cleanliness of the rooms, the decor, and the view of the riverfront. The room gave me every indication to believe the place was high end. The place seemed dead. All the lights in the hallways were off, the water in the shower fluctuated temperatures when used (like it hasn't been used for an extended period of time), I only bumped into one other guest in my building during my 1 day stay, and I could tell from the outside how many rooms were occupied - I'd say around 10% at best. This place was huge! Prior to arrival, I didn't think the size of the hotel would be a problem, but once I got there, I found it very annoying. The restaurant was in another building, and we had to go outside and around the waterfront to reach it. Reading the other reviews, I can confirm it's true - the service is mediocre at best. The staff provide seem to have no sense of urgency to help. Our dinner took very long they were unaccommodating. When I asked if I could add chicken to my pasta (which was not on the menu, but chicken and pasta as separate items were), they acted as if I had just walked into the catholic church and pissed on the baby Jesus himself. The service was slow. Upon checkout, I was told by the desk attendant the person with the authority to complete the task was unavailable and I had to wait 10 minutes. This place feels very understaffed. Given the small size of the staff, the seemingly nonexistent guests, the dim lighting and the infrequently used water pipes, I'd venture to guess NH is loosing some serious money on this investment. Granted, I did visit in May, which is probably a slower season.
Breakfast was not bad, free parking near hotel No room service, wi fi for 10 euro per day, windows are dirty, it is to poor room for 4* hotel, first night we had few towels and other bathroom accessories (for one person in two bad room), hotel looks like a shopping center where hotel rooms are made instead of store,
The only nice thing about the hotel was the aspect over a canal. This was the most over-priced and unsatisfactory hotel experience I have had in Europe, and I don't think this was a "Venice" pricing issue. This hotel has 2 different buildings, an up-market 4 star hotel and a budget 3 star hotel. Despite paying for the 4 star hotel we were forced to stay in the 3 star hotel in a noisy room next to a lift - the reception staff rudely would not change the room. The breakfast was not up to scratch for a 4 star hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as the risk of being downgraded and not refunded or made good in any way is too high !
The room was very clean and very big, the breakfast was excellent. We had a great time.
We stayed at Building "B" as cheaper side for 2 nights. They don't have enough equipment and service at their room in spite of 4 stars. Especially, I don't recommend family with little baby need to have milk this hotel. Because there were nothing to have hot water and they did't bring it to us. And we have to move to venezia just by land, not sea.
The hotel is great. Lovely resturants and great food. All the staff were very helpfull. Location is good too.
Breakfest was very good, good shower.
very little they had no record of my reservation; given a room, it had no air conditioning till the morning of our grateful departure;
the ONLY thing good about this hotel is that it is close to the airport and that is was somewhat reasonable. this hotel/convention center has an extremely odd layout.....it is not customer friendly. We checked into the wrong side of the building and then had to drag all our luggage without any assistance to another building where we did not even know where the entrance was. The staff seemed very disinterested in helping us. We seemed a "bother" to them. The hotel desk said that breakfast was served until 11 am and got there at 10:40 and were yelled at as we entered the dining hall by the staff that breakfast was over at 10:30 and there was no other options. The hotel has the appearance of a new and modern facility but is totally soul-less with the rooms appearing to have been decorated with no comfort thought!
comfort and design of the room, view breakfast is too expensive
extremely professional staff, wonderful room, amazing location, a simply extraordinary hotel nothing
Doing nothing for a week
The Terrace Breakfast
The courtesy of the staff, nothing was too much trouble, the room was fabulous and the food superb. The location was just right, the hotel itself was a fantastic building and the decor was out of this world. No
This is a superb hotel, in a cracking location, litterally a couple of minutes walk from St Mark's Square, and seconds from the airport water bus stop.. The room and public areas were lovely. We saw no evidence of the staff being unhelpful, quite the contrary, they were very efficient, friendly and welcoming. Recommended. Nothing
Definitely the location and the cadre, interior opulent surroundings. Professional and courteous concierge service. Comfortable large bed. The magnificent rooftop terrace. The only reservation was our room which although very large with high ceiling yet was quite dated, some worn out furniture, rusty heating grills, insufficient lighting, and mosquitoes. The bathroom was especially not up to par and to the high standard we expected.
the location, the history and interior fittings of the room,we did not really use any of the facilities we were not there long enough the receptionist said we had a restricted view, this actually meant no view , you could touch the building opposite, this was very dissapointing
Location and nice hotel restaurant. We could celebrate the second birthday of our granddaughte with the song of the staff. Expensive
The fantastic views across the venetian lagoon - main reason for choosing it. Service was also very high - they really wanted to help, even when the hotel was busy. A true 5* luxury hotel for a special occcasion. Everything was very expensive but it is a 5* hotel in Venice so you can expect nothing else! having a room ovrlooking the lagoon was great but you also get the noise - there is a major waterbus stop just outside (24 hour service) and a continuous flood of tourists passing so you are right in the middle of the bustle of Venice. Choose a room without the views ora hotel in a location away from San Marco if you want peace and quiet.
close to Mestre station, as it was in the station. rooms very clean, a/c perfect. breakfast very nice. no
Staff were very helpful and friendly. We received excellent recommendations for restaurants. Super convenient location right next to mestre station. Nothing.
Location (across the street from the train station, a 4 minute walk to the bus station) Located in Mestre and a 7 minute train ride to Venice Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating Room was large Included breakfast Weird shower/bathtub design made showering a bit difficult to avoid splashing water on the floor
Hotel was comfortable and clean. Perfect location for visit to Ferrari Museum.
Well to tell you the truth I liked the friendliness of their staff more than anything else. The housekeeping was poor although the linen and towels provided were very clean.
Smelled nice. Looked clean. Wifi. Reasonable room size. Staff took bags to our room. They put us in our room before it was ready, so we got kicked out for a bit while the staff finished up preparations - this happened after recommended check-in time
the hotel is near the railways station and it is very easy to go to Venizia center and also to the differents airports. nothing
Its was easy access to the town The breakfast
The breakfast was surprising - - many choices. The rooms were simple but well-equipped and very comfortable. Being just across the street from the train station was a huge plus for us.
I stayed at the hotel to take a ship for a cruise. The location was very convenient, because it was very easy to go till the ship, at "Statione Maritime" with a taxi, and, as I heard, the cheapest way too. The hotel is very good, with a big room, good food and good service and facilities.
Super convinient for visiting Venice (2 minutes from Venice Mestre station and 10 minitus from Venice by train).Clean, confortable, and ery attractive service and price quality ratio.
second visit and the staff was very helpfull plaisant and efficient, the location was perfect opposite the station for train link to venice and bus to airports, the food in the restaurant was good value and quality, room plaisant but front of building too noisy to sleep, room at the back perfect the bathroom was not clean enough mould on shower tray
Great location, short walking distance from San Marco and nice shops and restaurants. Very close to the waterbus. Very elegant, clean and breakfast was excellent. I will come back. Everything was great
When we were checking-out the money for our staying the hotel took twice from my credit card.
Location ... close to San Marco Square Service was poor. Room facing is poor.
The hotel was in a good position which enabled us to move around easily. Hotel staff were polite and efficient. Hotel offered 5 star quality and service,
fine hotel with fair price -
Location of the hotel. Room Front desk staff not freindly though!! Charge eight euro for room service whatever the order is!
Conceive is well trained & good -Hotel charges for hot water €7/-!! in room for taking my medicine/ Quality of food for Breakfast not of high grade - similar to canteen
Excellent staff help, great position on St Marco, and very near excellent shopping.lso water taxis available right on the doorstep Because of the atreet , the rooms on the canal can be quite noisy.
The staff was very rude. Not the standard for a 5 star hotel.
Everythig was absolutely perfect!!!!!!!
Location, location, location. Felt small & discreet. I cannot fault it. (I did not have any meals there, however).
Left something behind and was told they did not have
Location, parking, cleanliness, staff Room temperature hard to adjust and works only when actually in the room. I know there are energy conservation laws but it detracts from the comfort
The kindness of the staff The road in front was under construction which made access to the hotel a little difficult if you walk to it.
The staff was the best! At the top of my list for the generosity and helpfulness. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from Oktoberfest and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast is the same every morning, but very good. If you're bringing the train in, the hotel is just around the corner from it. A little hard to find at first but so accessible to everything!
Hotel is not ideally situated for walking to anything, but a bus stops right in front. Exceptionally clean with modern, beautiful rooms. Staff is very courteous and helpful for travelers in need of directions and help getting around. Highly recommended.
location and proximity to bus service Meals were quite expensive.
The property is what one should expect from a HGI. There is a lounge area with outside seating. A pool, a restaurant with inside and outside seating. Hotel offers paid for buffet breakfast. Rooms are nice and beds comfortable. The best thing is the bus line to Venice (only 2 stops) is across the parking lot. Hotel offers bus and water bus (a necessity) tickets at the desk. Easy!! Less than 10 mins and you are at the start of Venice!! Half the price of any place in Venice and conveniently located! Breakfast wasn't included. Wifi is free but not on a secured channel
Hotel was brand new and well appointed. Staff was struggling with systems.
Clean, modern large rooms. English speaking reception staff aided trying to decide what transport to use to get to centre of Venice quickly. Speedy check in/check out. I stayed 2 nights and woke up each morning with what appeared to be several mosquito bites that I did not have the night before. I informed staff of my problem.
Ease reaching from airport for late arrival or jet lagged traveler. Busy, so early check in, even for gold Honors members, seems rare, at least on weekend. Staff was pleasant. I liked that I could get bus/vaporetto pass there -- and recommend it since you'll need to travel by both to get into Venice. We had facility difficulties...the tea pot blew the lighting! They responded quickly and fixed the lights, ut never provided us with a working tea kettle. Also did not offer any reimbursement or accommodation. For anyone with mobility issues, know that returning from Venice on the bus lets you off across the street, where the only way to cross is a very high overpass with stairs. You can, however, request the hotel to send their van across the street to pick you up. WE found this out because we asked how to get across. Convenient to airport. Having a meal in the restaurant....not bad, but p
The dependent at the lobby was rude. The room they gave was not ready, there was an empty champaigne bottle with the corresponding dirty glasses. To make matters worse, it was time consuming to resolve. The room we ended up with had two full size beds together, with separate linen for each, instead of a king/queen size bed. The waiters at the bar and common areas were rude. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. In 30 years this is the most we ever paid for accommodations AND the worst service we've received.
The hotel staff were cold and rude. The room service was very poor.
The location was excellent and staff was very helpful and supportive. The hotel is well maintained and charming. The room was well serviced. The hotel met all our expectations--beautiful premises in a charming part of Venice, well connected to visit near and somewhat distant sites of interest to tourists. Yes, the wall was water stained. I informed the manager by a note and received no confirmation or follow up.
This hotel was really very great, exactly as you see in the photos and can boast about it's location and all of its qualities. Overall i could only find very minimal points to be picky about which are: 1. the hotel is quite tricky to find (as with a lot of places in Venice), you would think directions would therefore be highlighted/mentioned on their website or when you are sent your booking details. 2. Half of the the breakfast staff were useless and not concerned with helping at all (the other half were completely the opposite and couldn't do enough to help and make it as peasant as possible). 3. The hotel decor and furnishings were probably very finely done at one stage, but things are starting tyo tire and wall trimmings etc starting to peel away, scratches and bumps in too many places.
the whole experience, the terrace off our room was perfect the cost of the cheese and ham toasties at 4:00 am !!
The Hotel has excellent location and very good service There are multiple type of 'Canal view' rooms that may not always fit the description.
The location was wonderful! The attitude of some of the staff was snooty and the check in and check out process took forever. We were getting off a cruise coming in and there were many people arriving at the the same time but leaving I was left standing for 10 minutes while the clerk fiddled on her computer and noone else was around. To be fair it was the same woman. The conciere also had staff that was either extremely helpful or curt and unresponsive to inquires. The staff was either very pleasant or very disdainful.
Spacious Room, Ease of access to St Marco Square and bottle of champagne was given for our special stay. Booked a deluxe double room but was given a room on first floor facing another building which is under total renovation, noise starts from 8:00AM, can't sleep well and there is no view from this room, not even city view. Ask for ice buckets at 11:30PM, No one picks the call in Service Express.
Very luxurious. Staff wonderful. Central Location on the canal with superb views and private water taxi station right in front. Room service excellent! The Westin sets the bar very high! TV channel selection poor.
Friendly, great service, comfortable room Difficult to find hotel
Westin Europa & Regina is a wonderful place right on the canal with an amazing staff and facilities Nothing
The hotel is beautiful like a palace. Location is excellent. They give you the feeling that your money is the most important thing for them. The ask you to sign several forms, preauthorize you credit card, and, it's a shame, lock your minibar during the last night of your stay!
Very easy walking distance to everything. Breakfast was included in our stay. Champagne was served on Sunday. Great variety of foods to select from and coffee was amazing. The view of the Grand Canal cannot be any better. Hotel room key and safe were old world.
Very friendly and professional initial welcome. Helpful advice from concierge
Well appointed. Classic beauty with modern convenience. The heat control!
Luxury hotel Location in the heart of Service Modern ambience Great breakfast Service was 5 star They helped us book museum tickets, dinner reservations etc Concierge Raphaela was just amazing No negatives.
Location and personal attention
Location is very good. It is a expensive hotel, the service was not very nice with the exception of concierge, that they did a great gob. The shower was leaking water so every time you use it, there was water all over the restroom, the hair dryer did not work, Just details that you take for granted at that price range hotels.
Profesionalism and kindness of staff.Location on Canal Grande 2 minutes walking distance from Canal Grande;
When making our plan to visit Venice we did not know that the place is an island. The sight of water scared us at first on arrival .It became fun and visit to wonderland. The hotel met our expectation as big and reputable shops are within easy reach. we enjoyed our breakfast which provided good scenery of Venice. Nothing
If you like the boutique looks with no essence; then you will not mind this hotel. Nothing really works and the staff don't know how to fix it. ,If you like the looks and
Excellent location - 3 minutes to San Marco, good services, spa facilities in other location (boat transportation to spa), expensive services (wireless internet - 20 Euro, restaurant dinner for two - 250 Euro)
Location Internet and telephone net were very weak Casanova side was not good to stay
I stayed at the Casanova Suites which adjacent to the Bauers and for a family of four was great!! The location is just the greatest. The rooms were huge and they offered everything including 2 bathrooms!!! If you are traveling with young adults and spending time in Venice, this place is it. It was not cheap and it shouldnt be but well worth it!! Your on the main canal and yds from St Marks square. I will recomend it to my friends. Needed more TV sets in the bedrooms.
The location The aircondition didn't work well,so the room was a bit cold.
The degree of engagement which respected our privacy needs. The location and comfort in heating, need for a quiet room and range of fresh foods at breakfast.
Location Friendly Staff Comfort Cleanliness Did not receive Early Mornight Call on morning of departure We had to awaken staff to pay our Bill - not a bad complaint Lucky we had our own Alarm Clock or flights would have been missed First Class hotel otherwise would re - book and recommend
The fact that we got what we asked for
This was a lovely stay in venice, the new refurbished room was excellent, The staff were very friendly and helpfull, no breakfast as that part of the hotel was closed at the time of our stay, but was not a problem as it is close to many resturants & cafe's. I would book this hotel if I went to venice again.
We checked in early and the hotel provided a complimentary upgrade to a Canal View room, so we experienced the "post card" view of Venice from the room. The bathroom was 5-stars. We enjoyed our stay, but the breakfast could be improved to match the overall quality of the hotel.
great location, helpful staff, beautiful rooms, very comfortable bed
The Rooms were excellent, clean, comfortable, excellently furnished and location Th bar area seating was too open, the middle bar had a television on which was not showing much and should idealy be turned off and replaced with music. Lack of complementary water in the room. The instructions to get to the hotel are inaccurate and hotel could be more clearly sign posted
I thought at 370 euro a night breakfast should be included,I noticed American package holiday clients were being given a voucher for breakfast.
Very nice and fancy place Nothing everything was excellent
Our room was great. It was big, we were on the top floor so we had really high ceilings and lots of windows since we had a corner room. The location was great... close to the Grand Canal and San Marco's Square. The room very new and clean... we loved everything about it. When I see how expensive Venice is in general the hotel rate doesn't seem as unreasonable when you see what you get. When we booked the breakfast room was not finished so breakfast was not included in our rate. They offered us breakfast at the hotel for 15 euros per person. We thought it was a little expensive, but one morning we tried to find breakfast on our own on the streets of Venice and never found anything that good and it was still expensive. Venice is simply an expensive city.
good value, few minutes to station. Clean and tidy.
It was very quiet in the room. I could freely use the fast internet connection. The service was excellent. TV channels in English were rather limited, for example when I wanted to get the weather forcust in Venice where the hotel is situated.
Very friendly and helpful staff. they even sell you the bus tickets which is next door. We were very happy withe the location and parking convenience.
Nice hotel, good breakfast Not up to 4-star standard you would expect. 10-15 mins bus ride to outskirts of venice. If you want to get to the heart of venice (st Mark's square) its another 40 minute walk/taxi boat (e6 one way).
The hotel was modern and very clean and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The breakfasts which were included in our stay were the same each day.
Convenience to Marco Polo airport Venice. Honest price and good value.
for the short stay we had and the bus and train close by it suited us very well all was ok not sure if you had evening meals that was our problem had to use the chinesse close by or mcdonalds
This hotel is right across the street from the Mestre train station. Each morning, when I woke up, I would just buy a cheap train ticket and cross over to the main island of Venice. This was ideal for me, as staying on the mainland saved me hundreds of dollars and was still very convenient. If you have to stay on the mainland like I did, the Tritone is a good location with good rooms, a good staff, and everything you'd need as a base camp to explore Venice. There only thing that I didn't like is that the surrounding area is very drab, but I didn't expect more. I knew that it wasn't going to be in a very fancy area, but that really didn't bother me because the location was ideal for what I needed.
Location opposite the Train station allowa a one stop journey to vennice at the cost of one euro. A cheaper alternative than staying in a hotel in vennice itself. A small but convenient and clean hotel
Great location if you are willing to be based in Mestre - which I strongly recommend considering the bus to the island is right outside the hotel (10min bus trip) and its a total rip off staying in venice unless you are ok staying in a 2 star (which will be impossible to find) when for the same price you can stay in a 4 star on the mainland. The bus is 24hr service..
In front the train station, secure Same breakfast every day
15 minutes from Venice easy bus connection at an excellent price
good location, app 40 min by bus to Piazzale Roma, take the direct line with the sign Venice, room is extremely clean, lovely, modern, clean bathroom, parking, solid breakfast
The hotel was very good. Nearby there is a bus stop where you can catch the bus to piazza Roma in Venezia. It takes about 35-40 minutes. The room was very clean, well designed and really comfortable. The breakfast was rich and the personel was very kind. Recommended.
Location and room,, The indiference of the technical team to find out the internet connectivity...he didin't try to do his own job to settle internet connectivity..
Friendly staff, interior decoration of the room and lobby The hotel is currently under construction and I could not see out of my window
very good hotel, nice location, good facilities, good customer service. no
Location, food, shopping. Find the makers to see the range of fresh fish. Go to a restaurant with fresh fish on ice displayed outside. Excellent! WiFi was not available in the room. Computer in lobby did not work. Internet through TV in room did not work.
Its Venice! whats not to like???!!! But really, anything there is overpriced, but the staff was nice, our room was just fine, good size, clean. The restaurant was very good and its just the best location! They have a great outdoor area where you can listen to the piano every night while you eat or have a cocktail.....just wonderful. I didnt like that it was across from Giorgio Armani, literally! Spent too much!!!!
The room given to us was amazing! It was clean, the beds were comfortable and we had the best view of one of the canals! The breakfast was very nice for italian standards, various pastries, fresh cappuccino, toast, meat and cheese, eggs, bacon and fruit and yogurt. The cleaning lady tried to come in in the morning even though we only stayed one night and hadn't checked out yet.
The location was perfect. There was an incident where some waste water was dumped in the canal when we had breakfast on the terass. could have been timed better as the smell what not nice.
Staff members are polite and friendly, rooms were clean and spacious. Had their own dock and good location close to San Marco Square. Would recommend.
Location and the fact that they upgraded our room from Standard double to Deluxe double having a canal view whih was exciting and pleasant. Nothing
its location. I was very disappointed with the room and bathroom , extremely small and in my opinon it was very expensive. it was very misleading and for almost 600 euro it was not worth it. Was expecting a little luxury !!!!!
Warm friendly attmosphere in unusual and pleasant surroundings.Very relaxed and the gardens were a pleasant addition to a great experience
The hotel had personality. It was not part of a bland international chain. Each room is individually decorated with antique furniture. The staff were charming. It was very well located. It provides an excellent breakfast. It rained.
very inviting place like you were not staying in a hotel.
Fantastic staff, great location, cool hotel design and décor, great bar and food. Will definitely stay there again.
The room and location can't be beat. The room was large and very nicely decorated. The breakfast was fabulous and the service at breakfast was wonderful. We loved the lounge and ambience of the hotel.
the room was wonderful and the in hotel restaurant was phenomenal.
Good location, excellent service, friendly staff.
The staff were excellent and helpful. The location of this hotel is fabulous. I emailed the hotel twice to confirm the booking and they did not respond until a third email. Breakfast is limited to one hot drink and the choice of food was not that extensive considering the cost of the room.
Good location, nice view, beautiful decoration, helpful staff, very good breakfast, romantic atmosphere, best restaurant in town. Carpeting is a bit tired.
Location Hotel old and decadent, the rooms have rickety furniture, dirty carpet, outdated bathrooms, and in general everything seems to be consumed, requiring renovation rather than a renewal. Absolutely not a 5 stars hotel, not a 4 stars, not a 3 stars, and so on...
Comfortable elegance at it's best. Warmest staff you will ever find anywhere in Venice. The staff could not do enough for us. Nothing was to much trouble. Spotless rooms, and nice views. The oriental bar is superb. We will always return to the Metropole when visiting Venice. After 10 days leaving was very hard.
after my short stay i felt so relaxed the hotel is one of the best i have stayed in.the resturant was superb great location to wonder around.
