Pros: Elegant house and garden with a charming Dutch host who served us simple evening meals, even though the cook was away.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable
Pros: The hosts were very welcoming. The garden and pool we’re amazing. The breakfasts hearty and healthy.
Cons: As the property is next to a road, there is traffic noise but we stayed over a weekend where there was a festival in a village nearby so may have been more traffic due to that.

Pros: Good breakfast. And the owner offered to fill my water bottles and gave good advise to continue the bike trip. Appreciated.
Cons: Hotel closed at arrival, non-acceptable hospitality when Owners finally showed up. No apology, rather Owners made me feel guilty that I made my reservation a few hours upon arrival. After checking terms&conditions (arrivals accepted starting 12.30) I booked at 5pm for the same day. EUR 90 where immediately deducted. Once I received confirmation, I gave notice of my late arrival. Then continued my bike trip to Olargues to a final 130km. Arriving at 9pm, I saw an email (written at 7pm) that the Owners wont show up until 11.30pm. After 1 email, 2 phone calls they showed up at 10pm. Well, I am travelling a lot but the experience of closed portas in combination with a prepaid 90 EUR is something unique.
Pros: The location was the only good thing about this property. The setting is lovely.
Cons: Inside the inn, the rooms were cluttered and disheveled. The bedroom had rumpled, dirty looking bedding. The bathroom had not even a bar of soap for handwashing. The innkeepers closed the restaurant/bar with no warning and left the property for several hours, even though they knew there was no other place in the village to buy dinner. When they returned around 9 and reopened the restaurant, we waited over an hour for the food we ordered. We never got the food, because the innkeeper had some sort of breakdown which frightened us so much that we fled in fear for our safety (we were the only guests in the place).
Pros: Breakfast fruit salad! Bar in a barless environment (off season)
Cons: Level of French, though not a huge issue
