Pros: It was really nice stay! Special thankful for the host Luisa and Marco, because they are very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, internet was working very well (about 10mbit) which is non-standard in Tuscany. You can find (few times per day) buses to the sea and two restaurant next to Albergo Luisss. I'm highly recommending this object!
Pros: We staid for one night. Everything was good.A little far from the shore
Cons: We liked everything
Pros: We loved everything about this property. After a few hectic days in busy cities this was just what we needed to rest and relax. The owners were very helpful. The room was big and clean and the setting was perfect. Also a lovely restaurant next door with great service and food.
Cons: Nothing to fault!! We loved it!
Pros: We had a lovely few days on this attractive stretch of coast which is backed by a forest of umbrella pines, perfect for walking or cycling. The beach was very clean and the umbrellas and loungers included in the room cost were a bonus. The rooms are simple but have everything necessary and are very clean and well maintained. The reception staff were very polite and friendly as indeed were all the other staff; the food was good and the hotel turned out to be far better than we had expected for the cost. There is plenty to do in the area and we visited the archaeological site of Roselle and the museum in Grosseto. Thank you to all the staff and management at Hotel Belmare.
Pros: Beautiful location and lovely hosts. It's a family run business and the whole family was very friendly towards us and our child. Complimentary bikes at the hotel really made our day. Food at the resturant was extra ordinarily delicious and so well presented. I would definitely recommend a stay.
Pros: Great proximity to beach and lovely hosts. Also had a delicious spaghetti Vongole from their restaurant.
Cons: Bit old school and outdated
When you stay at Hotel Ariston in Grosseto, you'll be on the beach, within a 5-minute drive of Port of Marina di Grosseto and Forte di San Rocco. Featured amenities include express check-in, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk.
Cons: Un garage custodito
Pros: Close to the sea and marina
Cons: Too small bath (toilet and sink almost united) and the shower is very narrow. The bunk was useless. You do not have the possibility to sit in the lower bunk, because you are hitting your head in the upper bunk. The blinds on the door that opened to the balcony did not open. They said they would do it, but they did not fix it for 3 days. There were mosquitoes.
Cons: The hotel is located in a ruined environment surrounded by abandoned buildings and former factory like buildings. The hotel gives you the feeling it was built up back in 1980. Everything is old and out fashioned. There is no intimacy, because the doors have no thresholds towards the corridors and the walls are very thin, so you can hear very easily the neighbors and they can hear you. The bed, which appears as a king size bed is actually the one person beds put close one to each other, so if you sleep with your partner, you may fall in between. There is no kitchen exhaust tube, so that all the smells from cooking and frying come exactly in your balcony and in your rooms from windows. The remote control has a screw to keep the batteries in. The safe box is not working. The hotel is close to the sea, but actually there is no view to the sea because it is built behind another hotel. The breakfast is poor and served in single use vessels. I personally would not recommend this hotel for any kind of trips or persons.
