With a stay at Palazzo Dragoni Residenza d'Epoca in Spoleto, you'll be a 4-minute walk from Rocca Albornoziana and 6 minutes by foot from Spoleto Roman Amphitheater (Anfiteatro Romano). Featured amenities include express check-in, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Palazzo Dragoni is the perfect place to stay and is in a great location. The owners Roberto and Erminia are very welcoming, attentive and truly care about making one's stay as comfortable as possible. Roberto gave me great advice on restaurants and places to visit. Everything about the Palazzo is beautiful, interesting and elegant. The view from my room, number 10, was spectacular. It was super clean, large, and the bathroom had a great shower. Breakfast was delicious! Erminia makes wonderful baked goods, great coffee and her scrambled eggs were the best! Thank you! I would highly recommend staying at Palazzo Dragoni! Enjoy!
Pros: The rooms were spacious and immaculate, the views were incredible, breakfast and staff were great. Highly recommend!
Pros: Great location at the top near the cathedral, and a short walk to some nice restaurants/cafes. Beautiful breakfast room with high ceilings and amazing view. Comfortable suite with view, we didn't have a balcony but some rooms do. No parking but concierge took my husband to park the car nearby.
Cons: Nicely appointed bathrooms, but in our room the walk-in shower was between the sink and toilet, so you had to be careful when the shower floor was wet, to get to the toilet. Still the design was creative, considering they were working with a very old building!
Pros: Great customer service, location, and breakfast buffet. Awesome, beautiful view from room, and dining room.
Cons: The lobby could use some sprucing up to make it more inviting.
Pros: The shower was fantastic and the rooms were spacious. I fell and hurt my knee. Roberto immediately produced an ice pack and was sympathetic.
Cons: Can’t think of anything.
Pros: Located atop Spoleto just steps from the duomo, Palazzo Dragoni is like stepping back in time. The rooms are lovely (request 8!) and the owners are absolutely wonderful ! Roberto and his wife (I sadly don’t remember her name but she’s truly very kind!) are at the hotel, more like a B&B, and they help with questions on the city given they were born there. We would absolutely go back and highly recommend this gem of a property !!
Featuring 7-hectare private vineyards, olive groves and pond with ducks, Casale Fusco offers free WiFi and rooms with rustic-stye décor. This farm stay is a 10-minute drive from Spoleto. Accommodation here comes with a private bathroom with hairdryer, a flat-screen TV and views of the surrounding greenery. At the Casale Fusco you can enjoy relaxing moments in the garden, while having a drink from the bar. A shared lounge is also available. The property is a 45-minute drive from the art city of Assisi, where the Church of St. Francis of Assisi is.
Pros: The property owner Andrea was extremely friendly and helpful. She recommended local restaurants for dinner which was very helpful because we didn't want to be driving long distances in the dark. She is very knowledgeable about the area and was able to give us guidance on the many hill towns we visited in Umbria. The farm is lovely and peaceful with beautiful views. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice whatever your preferences.
Cons: I have only 1 minor comment. We booked the room with kitchen thinking we would eat in most evenings. Because of the space required for the kitchen, the room was a little small and there really was nowhere to sit and have a cocktail or read except at the kitchen table. If i had it all to do over again, I would stay in one of the other rooms which all had lovely seating areas especially as we went out every night but one for dinner!
Pros: The location was amazing, our host Andrea was delightful, the accomodation was very spacious and tastefully decorated, the surrounding countryside is very picturesque, it is a great base to explore southern Umbria and beautiful, interesting Spoleto. The grounds on the farm are gorgeous, with the most fantastic facilities for guests, especially the beautiful pool and surrounds with a well stocked fridge full of icecreams, beer, wine and soft drinks at very reasonable prices on an honesty system.
Cons: Not being able to spend more time here. A week would have been delightful.
Pros: A quiet country place, but close to tourist sites. Very helpful hostess who speaks several languages, including perfectly fluent english. Beautiful scenery all around, and nice outside areas for enjoying it. Some of the rooms have a kitchen.
Pros: Andrea the host was so obliging and could not do enough for us. The property was immaculate and facilities excellent. Scenery was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place although it was quite remote so you definitely need a car to get around.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Pros: Wonderful B&B in the beautiful countryside of Spoleto. The view out our bedroom window was fabulous and our room included had a tidy kitchen as part of the suite. Our host Andrea was helpful with meal suggestions and even made dinner reservation for us and was a delight just to chat with. Breakfast was amazing with so many homemade baked goods we didn't know how to choose, along with ham, cheese, yogurt, fruit, and great cappucino.
Cons: The morning sunshine woke me earlier than I hoped. I wish the beautiful large windows had some curtains/shades we could close that would allow me to sleep in a bit.
Pros: Everything was amazing! The property, the location, the staff!
Cons: There is nothing that we didn’t like!
Pros: Amazing views over Umbria, homely little place to stay with an impeccably clean room/kitchenette and beautiful pool area. Great value for money. Lovely host.
Cons: Room a little warm at night (though we did stay during June heatwave!). No air con, ceiling fan quite noisy
Pros: Perfect location, delicious breakfast, great vines and very kind hosts.
Located in Spoleto, Casale del Monsignore is within a 15-minute drive of Spoleto Roman Amphitheater (Anfiteatro Romano) and Ponte delle Torri. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Even though it's a bit of a drive from the center town, Casale de Monsignore is very picturesque, I enjoyed my drive to and from the place. The room was very cozy. My hosts were very accommodating and very patient with all my questions on where to go and helping me navigate my way.
Pros: Delicious fruits in the breakfast. Interesting location. Very good room + living room (shared)
Pros: Great views, not far from center
Pros: Daniel and Roberto were super helpful when we ran into rental car problems and changed the breakfast menu to accommodate for our needs.
Cons: Very weak internet/wifi, location is somewhat off, it’s hard to take a shower without flooding the whole bathroom.
Pros: Everything Comfortable bed Lovely hosts Great temperature pool
Pros: We had a lovely week at Casale di Monsignore. The peace and tranquility, the lovely hosts, the comfortable apartment, the views from the swimming pool, the lovely garden. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much, Roberto, I hope to return one day.
Pros: Beautiful location; out hosts were helpful and friendly.
Pros: very nice owners very nice quiet place good homemade breakfast confortable beds nice pool beautiful garden
With a stay at Torre della Botonta in Castel Ritaldi, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Springs of Clitunno and Sanctuary of Our Lady of Tears. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The age of the property. Staying in a thousand castle is amazing.
Cons: Nothing. I enjoyed my stay very much.
Surrounded by the greenery only 10 km from Spoleto, Agriturismo Agrileisure Time offers a restaurant and rustic-style rooms with a balcony or a terrace. This working farm features a hot tub, a summer outdoor pool, and free WiFi throughout. Colurful rooms have a flat-screen TV, a kettle and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some rooms also include a kitchenette. In summer months, a fitness centre and entertainment for both adults and children are available. In Agrileisure Time's surroundings there are a beach volley pitch and beach tennis court as well as trekking and nordic walking paths. Guided tours of the farm can be arranged, and guests can purchase organic products from the property's on-site shop. The farm stay is a 50-minute drive from the art city of Perugia, and Norcia is 45 km away. Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi Airport can be reached in 45 minutes by car.
Pros: We stayed 3 nights in a superior double room. Susanna and Antonio were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their staff were also very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was excellent - cereal, juice, fresh fruit, breads, ham, cheese, croissants, jams, cakes, tea, coffee and more. A lot of the produce is from their farm and I especially liked the bitter cherries. Susanna loves to cook and makes a lot of the foods herself while Antonio loves to farm. On the second morning they cooked egg and bacon especially for us which was a nice gesture. One night we had dinner with them and another couple which was very pleasant. The main dish was roasted goose (bred on their farm), stuffed and wrapped in bacon. The property was a good base to explore the surrounding area - Assisi, Spoleto, Orvieto, Norcia.
Cons: Wifi dropped in and out but this is probably to be expected in the countryside. Not a major concern.
Pros: Very friendly, helpful staff and good food and using local and their own produce. Suzanna cooked using their cheeses, wild asparagus, her cherries and their meats and herbs. Very resourceful.
Cons: Very small bedrooms, tiny bathroom and minute shower and no shower products which contradicted your description. No chocolates, sweets or biscuits in the room. It was not a superior room by any stretch of the imagination and although the setting is wonderful it was noisy as their leisure activities for local people meant disco noises and chatter . Also they didn't explain that 5 courses for dinner would cost more than 2 courses.
Pros: Great location with beatiful views, nice outdoor pool and lounge area. Sport lovers can play beach volleybal. Very hospitable hosts!
Cons: Events may cause some disturbance but fit in well.
Pros: Suzanna and Antonia were the most lovely hosts. We stayed for two nights out of a 10 night holiday and we were so sad to leave. The villa is close to Spoleto which is a beautiful town. We had originally planned to drive and have dinner in Spoleto each night but we decided to eat at the villa for the first night and it was so wonderful we did the same again the second night. It is a true organic farm where everything you eat has come from the farm and tastes so fresh. There was a lovely swimming pool and areas for relaxing. We are getting married nearby next year and are already looking forward to returning!
Pros: Very nice owners, good breakfast and dinner, beautiful surroundings
Pros: We want to say a big thank you to Susie and Antonio, as well as to Anna, who made our stay here a very memorable one. There are many agriturismi in Italy, this one has a heart. The proudness for the farm and the local agriculture with vegetables from the season, the animals... it is genuine here. The shared dinners a joy, for the lovely food but also for the nice and open hearted conversations. We felt at home here. Nothing was too much trouble. Our 1 year old loved the animals of the farm like we did and was really spoiled here. We feel she has a nonno and nonna now in Italy too. Thank you for the great stay, for the openness, for taking such good care of us...
When you stay at Relais Borgo Campello in Campello sul Clitunno, you'll be 8 minutes by car from Springs of Clitunno. Featured amenities include a business center, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: everything else was awesome
Cons: because it is in the middle of the countryside it is difficult to reach ,especially without a car
Pros: location is nice even it is difficult to find the entrance for the first time. also terrace is wonderful, feel like i can stay all day long.
Cons: it is difficult to book spa.
Pros: Amazing historic location and view. Incredibly comfortable apartment (the bed is especially phenomenal.) kind, accommodating staff. Can’t wait to go back!
Cons: It is very buggy - not the fault of the venue, just bring your big repellant!
With a stay at Castrum Resort in Spoleto, you'll be 8.9 mi (14.3 km) from Ponte delle Torri and 9.2 mi (14.7 km) from Rocca Albornoziana. Featured amenities include luggage storage and coffee/tea in a common area. Planning an event in Spoleto? This farm stay has 850 square feet (79 square meters) of space consisting of conference space and a meeting room. A roundtrip airport shuttle and a train station pick-up service are provided for an additional charge.
Pros: The stay was a perfect experience, We were absolutely happy, from the warm welcoming of the host throughout our stay. The castle is placed in a very peaceful and beautiful area, but mostly we were impressed by the building. Every detail of it carefully selected and tastefully placed by Paolo. During our three days we always could find new details to enjoy. Even artworks by Paolo himself. An inspiring place that creates wishes to return again and again, and we really hope we will! We also recommend to try the restaurant, with excellent service and very tasty food.
Pros: The room was HUGE! Very wonderful bed and small kitchenette. Nice to have in the room.
Cons: Big bathroom but the shower did spray all over it, the only problem because the floor gets wet but they have a squeegee to push the water down the drain.
Specialising in wine and olive oil production, Agriturismo Rivoli is located in the countryside of Spoleto and offers a restaurant and outdoor pool. Guests can also enjoy a shared terrace with outdoor furniture for relaxing. With free Wi-Fi in public areas, the bright and colourful rooms come with elegant country-style furniture. They are equipped with a TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries. A sweet and savoury breakfast is offered each morning. The restaurant serves traditional cuisine of the region for lunch and dinner. The famous Rocca Albornoziana in Spoleto is a 20-minute drive from the property, while Norcia is 47 km away.
Pros: Good level of comfort of all facilities, members of staff friendly and available. Nice location, rather isolated though.
Cons: Good quality food provided at lunch time. Yet in our opinion children below the age of 10 or even 8 should not be counted as adults. It is not fair that the cost of meals for children, who notoriously hardly eat a whole meal, is identical to the cost of adults meals.
Pros: the view and the food
Pros: We felt in love with the place the moment we arrived there - 360’ view of beautiful Umbria, green and peace. Our 1,5 y old daughter had the best time: playground, cats, dogs and horses and really-really nice hosts. During our 8 nights stay we had several days when we didn’t even leave the Agriturismo and enjoyed it all day long. Food was excellent! :) Thank you!
Cons: As it was the beginning of the season, the water in the swimming pool was still too cold.
Pros: Great location
Cons: Clean and friendly
Pros: A very picturesque place and a ranch with a family history, the owners are whole family that runs this place. Close to the town of Spoleto and other interesting places. Awesome tasty dinners, I highly recommend great value for money. Large area with a playground and a pool that is open in season. We asked for the early dinners because we was with a baby and employees organised ahead of time for us its a nice. Very pleased their workers were polite and friendly with us. Good wi fi a real holiday in agriturismo in particular with children. Everything is simple and no frills
Cons: The hosts speak exclusively Italian, there were difficulties with communication, so I had to wait for the waiter's guy in the evening to clarify all the questions in English. It was not comfortable in the room, because it was cool at night, we turned on the air conditioner which turned off several times automatically during the night. We noticed that many Italians like to come to this place, but apart from the overnight stay and a delicious dinner, unfortunately, no additional services were provided for travellers: recomendations for places to travel around Umbria and extra services on their territory. Did not like their breakfasts. Bad insulation in the room. Very mixed feelings about this place, our expectations were not quite true
Pros: Location was outstanding, landscape beautifull. Garden very well kept. people very friendly and good coffee
Pros: - the place is in a great area - the personnel has been really polite and friendly - the facilities are really good - the cook is amazing - the family running the place has been pretty friendly
Cons: - the bed could be more comfortable and rooms are pretty anonymous

Pros: The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with stunning views and immaculate grounds. The staff were all so friendly and went the extra mile where they could. The rooms were very clean.
Cons: Unfortunately the pool was closed when we first arrived although it was opened on our last day. We booked this hotel because it had a pool so were very disappointed to learn it was closed. A kettle in the room would be useful.
Pros: great location outside spoleto
Pros: It was quiet, nice pool and pizzas where good
Cons: Service was not good. Not a lot to do around
Pros: Clean, spacious, lovely pool and surroundings, good food, delicious wines, staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Nothing. It was a relaxing stay.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Great location; easy access in a car with complimentary private parking at the hotel. It is immediately next to the Roman theater and steps away from the pedestrian area with restaurants, shops and historic sights. The hotel is modern yet classy with an elevator and a pleasant, helpful staff that gave great restaurant advice. The standard double room was perfect! King size bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom with tub was spacious, new and clean with toiletry kit and big fluffy towels. Our room had a mini fridge and a balcony with a view of the beautiful Umbrian countryside. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and featured eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, breads etc. in a lovely dining room with large windows overlooking the olive groves and vineyards. All in all it was a great value for the price and I would recommend it highly.
Cons: I have no negative comments- it was excellent!
Pros: Location Calm Atmosphere Helpfulness of all Staff Plenty space to relax in Great breakfast Restaurants nearby two streets away Excellent value
Pros: Overall I would highly recommend Hotel Dei Duchi. Location and staff were great. Breakfast was average.
Cons: My only complaint is the Wifi was very inconsistent.
Pros: I have used this hotel many times in the past. It is quiet and good value for money. There is parking on site and the hotel has started to charge for that recently. The location of the hotel is exceptional, next to the old town, close to plenty of good restaurants and interesting sites.
Pros: Great location. Superb breakfast. Great bathroom. Super comfortable bed. Quiet.
Pros: A cramped room over the hotel entrance. Noisy. Bathroom was OK. and a very Good breakfast.
Cons: Member of staff on reception barely acknowledge me either on arrival or departure
Pros: Fabulously located the hotel has a lovely view and a great place to sit outdoors. Our room had a balcony too. The breakfast was good and they also provided me gluten-free options. The front office staff were really helpful right from the time we booked, the helped us with information regarding the taxis from the station etc. We had forgotten our travel adapter which they kindly provided us with. Would love to go back and stay in Hotel Dei Duchi.
Pros: Parking on site
Cons: Restaurant for dinner lacked atmosphere but good food
Cons: All was fine.
With a stay at La Macchia in Spoleto, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Spoleto Roman Amphitheater (Anfiteatro Romano) and Ponte delle Torri. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We chose La Macchia for it's nearness to hill towns in southern Umbria. It's in a good location a10 minute drive to Spoleto and not too far from other places. It is very comfortable with a good restaurant and after a few hours sightseeing the pool is very welcome.
Pros: Roberta, Carla and Claudio were fantastic hosts! My mother and I were made to feel welcome and their English was much better than our Italian (though we try). Nothing was too much and we enjoyed the Italian breakfast. Rooms were spotless and we will recommend to our friends and family! Grazie Mille! X
Cons: We would have liked more time to stay!
Pros: The people, the location, the building the restaurant, the customer service was top draw from start to finish
Pros: The swimming pool and the donkeys in the olive grove next to it were lovely. Staff was very helpful and friendly! One of the ladies was even lending us her mother's iron. The pizza's were the best we had during our trip and very reasonably priced! Lovely breakfast (incl gluten free) Within 5min you're in the town centre while the agriturismo feels like it's nicely isolated.
Cons: We struggled with mosquitoes quite a bit at this location, which isn't their fault but it did impair our experience a little. House and grounds felt a bit rustic, some of it could be updated a little.
Pros: Good and relaxing place to stay in Spoleto. The staff are very friendly.
Pros: Pretty house and surroundings.Family who run it exceptional. Pool inviting.Donkeys in field fun if noisy.Aircon works and everything(bathroom) really clean
Cons: Nothing really. We had a room with 2 mattresses and it was quiet as requested. The view was not as good probably as other ones.It was small but was ok for 2nights.
Pros: Comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: Nothing really

Pros: It was over-complete personnel very friendly.
Pros: Everything - large comfy bed, good bathroom and shower, garage for our car, didn’t charge extra for our dogs.
Pros: Wonderful breakfast
Pros: pleasent hotel , comfortable bed and room , very nice decoration and atmosohere , very good location near the old town and excelent hearty service by the staff.
Pros: Charming decor but a little dated in parts, great breakfast, room was large, big bed, it was nice but not as nice as I expected, I wouldn't say this was 4 star, castle was nice and the escalators and lifts made getting about easier.
Cons: Very dark and quiet when we arrived and doesn't look nearly as grand as the pictures make it look. Paid for parking in the garage but there are free spaces outside. Spoleto itself was much quieter than we expected. Birds in cages.
Pros: The Hotel San Luca was a beautiful Italian style villa. The room was large with french doors and marble bathroom. I was staying two nights as a break before the long flight home to Australia. I couldn't have picked a better place to relax. Frederica and her husband were excellent hosts and greeted me as I stepped out of the taxi. Very helpful with directions etc. and so friendly. I will be recommending to all my friends who travel to Italy to attend the Dante Alighieri School in Recanati.
Pros: Charming hotel with fantastic location! The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful especially with directions and recommendations local restaurants. Room was spacious and very comfortable with spacious marble bathroom (!) including his/her sinks and great shower. Bed was large and lots of closet space. Cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general is at top level. Hotel is furnished with antiques and has a flower-filled courtyard with fountain. Location: ideal for exploring Spoleto because it’s so near to the mobile underground people movers. Also great for exploring other areas of Umbria with quick access to highway. Enclosed garage was available for small fee (useful). Breakfast was included in a nice dining area, and service was excellent. Many nice dolci and very fresh fruit, cheese and vegetables. We stayed a full week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would love to return and would recommend to close friends and we actually did recommend to family.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Hotel San Luca. The rooms are beautiful with a attention to detail - wonderful bed and linens and a great bathroom with lovely pressed linen hand towels. The location is perfect- close to the underground people mover as well as the town centre. The breakfasts are plentiful, the staff courteous and very helpful. We would highly recommend Hotel San Luca.
Cons: It was perfect!!
Located in Spoleto, Albergo Villa Cristina is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of San Gregorio Maggiore and San Pietro extra Moenia. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free valet parking is available onsite.
Located in Spoleto, Castello di Poreta is within a 15-minute drive of Springs of Clitunno and Sanctuary of Our Lady of Tears. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Amazing location and views in beautiful ancient grounds. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Restaurant was great.
Pros: View was beautiful. The food was ok and staff were helpful and kind in solving transport problems. Air con in room very efficient.
Cons: No storage or furniture. Just a bed plus extra unwanted bed. We had been moved from previous room because bathroom was fly infested. No fridge. No staff from 10am till.6pm and facility locked. Location inaccessible without a car. We did not know this. Completely inappropriate for a 4night stay. This is a restaurant with rooms. Disappointing
Pros: Everything was great. Staff was very helpful. After I locked my key inside the room they just kicked the door and the problem was solved. Breakfast coffee was very good. My wife got some gluten/dairy/sugar-free breakfast snacks. There were three sorts of cakes, some cheese, ham, butter, jam, juice, still and sparkling water. Nothing special, but also nothing to complain about knowing that most breakfasts are like that in Italy.
Cons: We were expecting something more from the restaurant inside the property. The bean soup was just about okay, pasta with something was taste-less. When we go to Italy we expect the famous delicious dishes, but that is probably our problem.
Pros: Great location off the beaten track with amazing views. Staff were very friendly and wanted to help.
Cons: End of season, a couple of items in the room needed repairing.
Pros: Breakfast was very good
Cons: Location on map is wrong......it is up a hill that is not walkable and a long way from the village....where it was "supposed" to be. This was a real problem for us as we had no transport ! so constantly paying to get down to and up from village. Also no room facilities for tea and coffee.......no staff present from late morning until early evening ! No TV as advertised. Staff very helpful...when they were there !.....however when we arrived no staff at all present !
Set in Spoleto's historic centre, Casa Religiosa Di Ospitalità Nazareno is 5 minutes' walk from the hospital and 800 metres from Spoleto Cathedral. It features a private chapel and peaceful garden. This religious property has plenty of common areas, both indoors and outdoors, where guests can relax. An Italian breakfast is served buffet style each morning. Rooms are simply furnished with tiled floors and classic furniture. Each one has a private bathroom with shower. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Nazareno Casa Religiosa Di Ospitalità is 50 metres from the nearest bus stop. Spoleto Train Station is 1.5 km away and is on the Roma-Ancona line.
Pros: Good value for money and convenient location with parking.
Cons: The breakfast wasn’t that good, but I’d recommend going out for a coffee and pastry.
Cons: Strange breakfast. The slices of bread were all wrapped in cellofane.
Pros: Quiet, very clean and great location
Pros: cleanliness and city center
Cons: the pillow is too thin and no fruits for breakfast. breakfast has no variety
Pros: Very welcoming reception staff. Rooms were Spartan but extremely clean. Nice big windows. The location was really good--if you're driving, it's just far enough out of the city center to have easy parking and a nice, less-touristy neighborhood feel, but it's very easy to walk to the historic center in just a few minutes.
Cons: Breakfast was prepackaged items and a self-serve coffee machine. Totally understandable considering the price of the room, though! And there are nice cafes nearby where it's easy to get a great coffee and brioche for a couple of euros. I had trouble finding the place, though, because Google maps pinpointed the hotel a long way from its actual location on its street, and that was a problem because I put my car in a parking garage and was carrying my luggage.
Pros: Breakfast was much better than I anticipated from reviews I have read.
Cons: Towels were incredibly thin, like a sheet. Room was very plainly furnished, nothing above the absolute basics. No soft furnishings.- carpets, rugs etc; no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. No microwave. No electric jug.

Pros: Such a beautiful place, wonderfully decorated. In gorgeous area. Very comfortable stay, wonderful breakfast with home made cake.
Cons: Small sign on the entrance, so we missed the entrance.
Pros: Very nice location, just a stone's throw from the temple. Clean, comfortable and nicely decorated rooms.
Cons: Some may find the shared bathroom an inconvenience. In my case I was the only guest so it was no problem.
Pros: very friendly host, nice pool
