contempoary, good design and comfortable the price for their simple breakfast is way too high. too expensive. the room rate they charged was higher than the original quote agreed when i booked this hotel in booking.com.
The spa was fantastic, a bit cold in the pool though and they charged an extra €18.00 each for using it! The extra charge for the spa, and they refused to credit any charge
Nice, well-appointed room, good spa and good restaurant; friendly staff.
I liked the hotel's restaurant, it had a menu for 22 euros which was delicious, it included a starter, main course, dessert, bread roll, wine and water. The Hotel is not far from Valdelinares Ski Resort so the location is perfect for a short ski stay. I also like our room, it was spacious, with large beds and an amazing shower, I really enjoyed my stay at La Trufa Negra. The painting/photograph hanging in our room was a bit over the top. It would have offended people from different religions and the elderly.
The food served at the retaurant and the serving staff at the restaurant Parking access door is a little narrow.
The staff was excellent. I think this hotel is perfect for younger crowd. The rooms had modern fixtures and decor; they were clean and comfortable although not very big. Good restaurant nearby. It is located in a quiet, pleasant town which is cool in the summer. If you want to dine here, book in advance --- it does not have the capacity to accommodate all those staying (in our case, perhaps due to a wedding party which was going on when we arrived at night). The restaurant they recommended (only a few minutes walk) was very good. Breakfast buffet was OK but not top notch. The access to the underground parking lot was tight at times, but parking space allocated to each car was large enough to fit a large car.
The hotel is modern and comfortable. The staff helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent value. The spa although compact was very good and again the staff were more than helpfull. We were on a relax rate which included the spa and a bottle of cava. The bottle was in fact a half bottle, although it was good quality cava.
the rooms, the facilities, the food
room + spa + food in hotel
The space and comfort of our room, the convience of parking underground and access to the lift to reach our room with ski equipment/ bags etc without going through reception. the amazing 90 mins in the Spa. service and friendiness of
Pleasant hotel wioth all facilities, friendly staff, good location
Position and spa facilities Food was mediocre
Locale to key points of interest ... indoor pool (fun for a family) ... easy to find after a long day on the road.
Clean rooms and good facilities. The staff should learn at least a couple of lines of english. Just the most basic communication. Not everybody speaks spanish.
The hotel is nicely situated in the sleepy town of Montanejos. The staff does not speak excellent english but they find someone who does and are very friendly. All in all, the people in the town were nice to be around. The attraction of the place are the thermal fountains and they are definately worth the visit. The spa was closed on sunday and opened late on monday. The breakfast focused too much on the sweets.
Very close to the water, nice view from my room. The food was expensive and not nice.
General ambience. Welcoming staff and excellent food.
Very friendly staff.
Excellent service with strong management involvement. The restaurant food quality was excellent at a good price The parking situation is complex but there is not much it can be done about it since it is located in the heart of the medieval part of town
We booked the romance package and everyone seemed to fall over themselves to make sure our stay was truly romantic and enjoyable
This was our second visit en routé to Spain Alicante and we find this Hotel excellent value, with really nice staff willing to assist in whatever you may require. The restaurant is excellent and the food well presented.Old World Spainish village with lots of charm and a lovely walk along the river bank at the bottom of the Town of Jerica.
Excelent and helpful staff, especially aLEX on rECEPTION who spoke very good english and went out of his way to assist us. None
Reception staff very helpful. Dogs no problem at all. A bonus for dog people. Room was like a small suite, excellent value. Even had massage bath.Would use again for a break. No
Really bad hotel.
hotel very good, staff don't speak any english but very helpful. local man call barry has a coffee in morning in the hotel and he was the only english person, he helped with menu translation! food basic spanish cusine. very tasty when hotel full quite noisy ,walls very thin!
We used it as a stopover on our journey from UK to Costa Blanca. Have stayed there before. Quiet location, ample parking, good restaurant- reasonably priced.
Nothing No mention was made on arrival that the dining room was closed so at 2030, the appointed opening hour advertised in our room and everywhere else, we were left with no proper eating option other than some ham and toast. Our mistake, I think, was to be there so soon after skiing and before the summer season. We should have been told when booking that the dining room would be closed and what other eating options were available. .
Small back bedroom, uncomfortable beds. Restaurant poor
Balcony railing was wood and unsafe
A pleasant quiet hotel located on the edge of the village and a few Km from the A23. The restaurant served good and well priced food. Menu del noche €11.
We chose as a stopover on way home to Costa Blanca. Very relaxing and just what we needed after a tiring few days. Slight delay with meals but no complaints about quality and value. Possibly because the hotel had accommodated around 50/60 schoolchildren late that evening at very short notice after evacuation from fire area, as we heard before we left! Staff were very apologetic about delay and all exceedingly helpful and attentive.
