Everything followed my expectations. Great and very kind and helpfull stuff. I reccomend everyone!
Very quiet. Family owned by amazing people. I had an emergency and they went out of their way to help me immediately. Price versus quality excellent. It is 15 minutes walk to town. I love to walk, but if you don't, it might be too far. I like that it is out of the way. Bed comfortable. Air conditioner.
I stayed just 2 nights for my visit to the Iguazu Falls. Elva is a wonderful hostess, attentive, kind and helpful. She made my stay very pleasant! The Hostería Las Piedras is not very close to the central bus station, but quite easy to find: you walk along the same street for about 5 blocks and then turn left. All in all, some 10-15 min walk. Many restaurants and cafés on the way. The general impression is of a nice countryside, calm and quiet at night. Was able to sleep well. The room is simple, but clean and very nice (white walls, blue coverlet on the bed, a picture). An electric shower. Breakfast: a croissant, bread with butter and jam, tea or coffee, fresh juice. When leaving the place to go to the airport, I was going to take a taxi, but Elva found a much cheaper bus, using her contacts. Very thankful to her for everything! All in all, for a more than friendly price, the place is an excellent option for "3 star-travellers" like me. It is written that it closes at 21:00, as it is not a big hotel, but rather a small family-run place; but I warned them beforehand about my late arrival (21:10 or something) and the hostess let me in without any trouble. As another visitor put it, it was like going to the country for a stay at your beloved Gran's :) I adored it.
The lady running the property was very friendly and helpful - thank you!
It was rather cold in the room (in winter) - no heating as far as I could work out (just AC)
Very friendly staff and lovely breakfast!
