Nice, friendly staff especially in the restaurants !
The normal pools where cold, however the adults/extra club pools where super nice and warm. A heated pool (small etc) for the normal guests would be very nice.
Loved Adult only pool area. Staff working by the pool were absolutely great, always happy to help and just genuinely happy people. Brilliant pool in adult area, big hot tub, make your own drinks and nice snacks. Again lots of sea food, if you're a fan. Sea view from the room was also great. Lovely to wake up to. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Again Tapas place - my favourite!
The food was very average, even in the al'carte restaurant still nothing great. I know you shouldn't expect a lot from all inclusive hotels as it's super hard to feed so many people at once but yeah food was disappointing. Overcooked or just tasteless sometimes. In the other hand there would be lots for sea food fans as there was lots of fish every night. Tapas place and bar in adult area had great little snacks and nice drinks. Cocktails in the main area absolutely horrible. Tried mohito, pinacolada and sex on the beach, all disgusting. Don't know how people drank that. No decent fresh orange juice but juice from concentrate. Coffee machines including cappuccino and latte but both horrible standards
The animation team was the only things that was GREAT!
The hotel is not on the beach and the beach is just a tiny little golf with high winds so no swimming allowed. after a long trip, we arrived at the reception where two ladies ( both new) had no idea what to do. I asked another one to help but he didn't care. While dining on the same terrace there is "premium" seating for superior rooms (which we had but not enough cause we were not allowed there. Fine. however, the waiters were busy serving premium clients and rudely sending away the ones who were not allowed there. This means we had to get the drinks ourselves and clear our own tables. There was a storm one day so we could not have lunch outside. Okay, fine! No one can do anything about this however it took them the evening, next morning and the next lunch on the second day to rearrange the chairs and tables so we were allowed to eat outside again. If I pay so much money in January to go there I do that because I need to be outside and enjoy the sun. Inside was incredibly noisy and a lot of the tables, guess what, were reserved for others or unavailable. Personally I would not return here. I don't mind offering waiters a tip but earn it first. the way everyone behaved ( with the great exception of the animation team). We also got a FULL sea view room( superior room!) with the view of the busy street. When we asked them they said that that was a sea view cause we could see the sea ( yeah, a little bit of it).
Everything except that if you were hungry after hours you were limited, the staff were friendly and very helpful.
We saw cockroaches, the food was repetitive.
The staff was very friendly and ready to help. The entertainment group (Club Lookea) was amazing.
The food and drinks were included in the stay which is like a icing on the cake but the dessert counter was a big disappointment. The desserts looked stale and looked like left overs from previous days.
