Shower was hot
Check in lady didn’t speak any English and was very rude and unhelpful. This was quite possibly the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. Carpet literally turned my socks black and had to pick clumps of hair off of them. Bedding was covered in dirt and stains. Entire room was very dirty including mould everywhere and dirt covering the walls. Shower was hot but did not drain and mould on shower curtain. There is not really a bad location in town, but this is probably one of the furthest from center and there was a lot of traffic noise from the street. I had ordered a taxi for 3.45am as I had a tour and didn’t want to walk alone but it never came causing me to have to run all the way to the meeting place and almost missing the tour. When I returned to the hostel that night the lady yelled at me saying I had inconvenienced her and the taxi was ‘only’ 15 mins late Wow!! I was supposed to stay four nights but left after two. Then when I got my credit card statement she had overcharged me $10. There are no seating areas or desks in the rooms and there is no tour desk as described. There are many hostels in PA so I would suggest looking elsewhere.
Good comfortable warm accommodation
A little tired in decor.
The hosts are very nice and accommodating. They responded to messages very quickly. Just like a stay at home. It’s 10minutes walk to the bus station.
The heater in the room is not responding sometimes.
The only thing we liked was the location.
The hotel definitely needs a renovation. The toilet cover was broken, shower was poor, the window did not shut properly. It was the worst hotel stay all over Chili. If you want to sit in the lounge the staff did not remove their personal belongings there were spare seats to sit you had the idea that the staff were the guests.
A helpful staff, the chance for an early check-in and proximity to the city centre, including the attractions.
