Pros: Not my first stay here and for sure not last.
Pros: Nice looking hotel with good and safe parking.
Cons: Before we even arrived we were getting phone calls from angry receptionist asking where are we because it’s Friday night and she needs to wait for us(?!)-reception closes at 8pm about what we did not know and we arrived at 9.30 pm(we got lost in the mountains with two small babies so the phone call was exactly what I DID NOT need more). When we arrived lady was cold and made us feel not welcome. Next day before breakfast she informed us (same lady) that we didn’t pay for breakfast so I said it’s not correct because it is included and we continue to the table. After we wanted to pay for our stay and it turned out she added breakfast to the room who had breakfast included saying that it had to be booking.con mistake. I refuse to pay for additional breakfast and asked her to solve it with the website....so she got mad and said “in this case I’ll add to your bill other payments” (she wanted to charge us for our 2months old baby but fortunately it’s against hotel rules so she added late CHECK-IN fee which even doesn’t exists....). Summarizing- I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, even if facility is nice stay can be destroyed by some random mad lady.
Pros: Good space for the family in 4 person room. Good location for winter sports lovers.
Pros: Superb hotel for relaxing stay in the mountains
Pros: Nice like always

This 3-star hotel offers ski storage space and a tour desk. Guests at the hotel can enjoy a continental breakfast. Villa Aurelie offers a sun terrace. Pros: Super bed for sleeping, very nic terrace.
Pros: First time in a Villa and definitely not the last. Very friendly lady at the reception that came back to villa in the evening to let us in a jacuzzi. Very clean inside out and great value for money.
Cons: Jacuzzi could be available longer in the evening
Pros: A nice, spacious room, very clean, a very Nice breakfest.
Pros: Very nice hotel with great Wellness
Cons: Breakfast can be better.
Pros: The room was really nice and big. The building is nicely renovated (both from outside and inside). Quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: You have to book a wellness in advance, it's not included in the price and it's open only till 9pm. If there are other guests, it's possible that you will be out of luck. The cakes served during the breakfast was bought from the store (tasted really bad). Homemade cakes would be much better.
Pros: Velke Losiny is in a beautiful part of the Czech Republic but was very quiet in June when we were there. We only stayed one night as part of a tour so didn't really have time for the outdoor activities for which the area is famed. We ate at one of the few restaurants in the village, a pizzeria almost opposite Villa Aurelie and it was very good. The villa is more of a guest house than a hotel but is of excellent quality and very stylish. We had a very clean spacious room with good shower and the breakfast was very good.
Cons: As far as we can make out the Villa is run basically by one woman who is pleasant enough but cannot speak English. We had tried to ring the villa many times the day before our arrival to confirm something but we got no answer either on the villa number or a mobile number that was given. Although our confirmation said pay in Euros the lady insisted on Czech crowns and did not want us to pay by debit/credit card either.

Pros: Room was spacious and clean Kitchen and the dining room had everything you need Good location for hiking/biking etc. Caretaker was very friendly, helpful and approachable
Cons: Rooms are not sound proof - you could hear every single noise outside of the room Unreliable and amazingly slow wifi
Pros: all is new
Cons: rooms are not spacy, parking is quite far from building

Just 200 metres from hotel is the historic Kolštejn Castle. Branná Train Station is 650 metres away. Right across from the building lies a famous confectionery store which sells traditional Czech sweets.
Cons: Very not-comfortable bed, poor breakfast with nasty coffee, rooms needs to be painted and cleaned.
Pros: Nice location in mountains. Next to castle. Own brewery and great restaurant

With a stay at Penzion Trombly in Loucna nad Desnou, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Kares Kouty nad Desnou Ski Area and Kouty Ski Area. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Lovely, cozy and clean hotel, wonderful staff, good breakfast.
Pros: Clean room. Quality to price.
Cons: Restaurant is close too early
Pros: Great location, children really enjoyed the stay. Good food, and really friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Clean, nice, spacious place, with lots of parking spots. Nice staff, nice food. Children loved to play with local pets (cats and dog). Our friends brought own dog and it was accepted without issues.
Cons: The common dining room was closed after 21:00 - so there was no place to sit together with larger group of friends (although one of our apartments was big enough that we could spend evening there).
When you stay at Chateau Goldenstein in Branna, you'll be 11 minutes by car from Fauna Park. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Lovely hotel - clean and comfortable rooms, helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast - they even did a vegan one.
Cons: They didn't really speak English but we managed to communicate in Polish (and we didn't speak Czech, so that's our fault!).
Pros: The location is beautiful and the rooms magnificent.
Cons: The shower (it flooded the bathroom every time we used it no matter how careful we were).
Pros: We fell in love with the place and the village.. unique in the Czech Republic
Pros: Very quiet and nice location with quiet room with comfortable bed and nice clean and bright bathroom with comfortable shower and very friendly staff
Cons: Staff speaks only Czech, no internet in room, very poor telephone signal, poor breakfast, no table in room, parking outside, no staffed reception desk (difficult when you need some help or information)
Pros: We were very happy with the staff and the hotel.
Pros: Branna village is beautiful with some hiking possibilities and its own brewery. Hotel is situated at the edge of the village and is nicely renovated (inside is almost finished, outside is progress). Nice place to stay - if you ever wanted to sleep in the castle, trying it here will be very good choice.
Cons: Fan in the bathroom is very loud and will turn off automatically only after like 15 minutes. What can be annoying after you brush your teeth and want to go to sleep. You can close the massive bathroom door what can help a bit :) I was also unable to make the huge flat TV run, but that can be mistake on my side...
Pros: The castle is beautiful!!
Pros: Romantic setting in upper courtyard (ask room there, if you will like my description) is somehow the best thing you can have at the hotel. It is quite probable that you would be alone there and night view under the stars with you being alone under the stone tower and walking in corridors is good experience. Staff is very willing and the small city itself is nice. We had room no. 26 and it is only room with bath tube, but be ready for rather chilly air, after all it is stone castle. If you need comfortable warm room, then you should head elsewhere.
Cons: This huge romantic castle/chateau has definitely great potential, but for now it is not used, I am afraid. The visitors should be warned in case there are no curtains in the room, since otherwise you would be wake up in very early morning. The heating does not work and portable air condition is not sufficient to make the room sufficiently warm.
Pros: Nice room
Cons: Check in really slow and check out the same. Room window without blinds or curtain so no privacy at all ( especially in evenings and night time) , breakfast really simple.
Pros: Very friendly staff, castle itself elegant, but not overdesigned.
Cons: If there were good, elegant restaurant inside the castle, serving more than chicken and fries, opened longer than 8PM, place would be perfect.
Located in the Kouty Ski Area in the Olomouc Region. Penzion Kouty features ski-to-door access and a ski pass sales point. Free private parking is available on site. You will find a shared lounge at the property. Bed linen is available for a surcharge. Breakfast or dinner can be ordered upon arrival at the reception. The area is popular for skiing or cycling. The guest house provides ski and bike storage and guests can hire here ski equipment, bikes or scooters. There is a 6-seater chairlift in the Kouty Ski Complex. Guests can visit Dlouhé stráně Hydro Power Plant which is a reservoir located 5.8 km from the guest house. Leos Janacek Airport is 85 km from the property.
Pros: Multiple ski resort facilities Good shared bathroom
Pros: I've stayed there before and will stay there again :) Simple but great! Everything is clean, beds are nice, great price (which is why I stayed a night longer than necessary). The breakfast (has the size of around 2-3 tables) was fantastic to me!
Cons: Not much that I didn't like. - Note their check-in and check-out times (you can contact them if you arrive later) - but those times are usually not a problem (at least not for me) - The only small issue may be other guests. There's a small chance that some people talk too loud in the hallway at night. That may only be an issue if you can't sleep very well and that's also up to the people in the hotel.
Pros: Nice price, good location, renovated and comfortable. Not like Google Maps view! Reconstructed! Near the train station. Nice new trains run on this line. At the bottom of the ski lift. Summer has downhill tracks for bikes. Take the 17 km scooter ride down from dlouhe strand (reservoir on the top of the mountain). Good bathrooms down the hall.
Cons: New doors on rooms paper thin. Don't get a room on the loud main road.
Pros: location is great
Cons: breakfast for 3.5 euros and coffee or tea is not included in price...??food.... if i could call it food... peace of... :) English language is like aliens language for stuff.... they r quite impolite for "strangers" ( by strangers i mean foreigners). i am not asking to speak my language or english...but please..at least ..try to communicate ... Restaurant in the main building where reception is located ....food (during the day) is ok...but stuff..again....i have no words... try not to live in the rooms close to the street....you will never get rest there....cars are going so often that even the curtains gets up in the air...AND: i was in my room and one person from the stuff just locked my room and got in it... smth grummbled and went out. I DONT WANT WORKERS to walk in my room. i am glad i was in it. who knows what they do when we are out?? Chek in system is crazy too- ID cards, deposits and so on... come on ..its just a dormitory with ikea beds...
Pros: Nice clean rooms, delicious breakfast, highly recommended.
Pros: It is nice for bikers because it is next to the lift and ski resort.
Cons: Hidden fees for example for bedding. Why you don't include this hidden fees if everybody has to pay it and there is no way to resign from it. It is just cheating to show smaller price on booking. What is more, I payed with american card (in dollars) but Penzion did the transaction through zlotys and then into koronas. I have very good exchange rate in my bank but instead I had to pay to the Penzion Kouty for exchange into zlotys and then into koronas!!!!! That is totally ridiculous!!!! I would like to add that when I payed this additonal fees in the Penzion (12 dollars) I payed with the same card and supprisingly I could pay in dollars and they didn't exhange into zlotys and/or koronas. It is obvious for me that this hostel just wanted to take more money on us.
Pros: good price cleanness friendly and helpful staff perfect place to start hiking trips
Cons: Common toalets and showers
Pros: Stayed in a single (2-bed) room in May on a Friday & Saturday. Their check-in & check-out times are each 2h long only. I contacted them because I'd check in late and they arranged it via their night safe. Worked perfectly! The next morning I paid around 100CZK for the bed & towel fee and 200CZK deposit for the 2 keys. Keep that in mind. Modern! Everything was very clean! Enough showers & WC's on the hallway - at least during my wake up & go to bed times. (don't forget your towel if you go to the shower... :D ) = I'd definitely 100% recommend it if you just need a very basic and clean room, WC & shower.
Cons: Just minor stuff. If you have bad luck you have loud people in the hallway. I had room 4 which was next to a couch area and people were talking there at 11pm which can get annoying. The noise of a few cars/ traffic is not a big problem (at least for me), I could sleep well. The mattress is a bit hard though. Notice their Check in and Check out times (each are 2h only) and contact them if necessary.

Pros: Hot chocolate very thick and tasty to get warm. And then bear to satisfy the thirst after day long skiing
Pros: Everything was fine. Nice place to stay if you are active especially.
Pros: very good breakfast
Cons: there was no possibility to make a coffee or tea, only available in the bar. very small parking place, bowling not available - all reserved by people not from pension. nobody speaks English there. Final price was higher than on booking.com web site.
Pros: lovely place to stay, friendly owners
Pros: Good, firm beds and clean (although small) rooms. Tenpin bowling is a nice feature
Cons: Not keeping to opening times written on website. 1 staff member running the whole pension and escaping / locking up early. Breakfast was a few rolls and jam. Our children politely asked for normal things like juice which was received by a cold reply and added extra to the bill. Although there were no other guests, the 1 staff member did the old style "pretending to be very busy...and don't you dare interupt me" game. You can expect the whole pension to be closed by 21:00 after evening skiing so don't even expect a coffee.
Pros: A room was very clean and cosy. Nice staff, breakfast OK. Excellent base for Kouty Ski Resort and excellent beer in the pub downstairs.
Cons: Week wi-fi in a room upstairs.
Pros: Clean and comfy room
Cons: Poor breakfast, noise from the bowling during the day
Pros: Friendly locals in bar downstairs
Cons: WIFI wasn't strong enough to work in my upstairs room, had to go to bar
Cons: The bed in the bunk-beds in second floor was making sounds as the person moved. The receptionist only spoke Czech which wasn't very nice. Also breakfast not suitable for vegetarians/vegans.

Pros: Very good restaurant for a dinner.

Cons: Receptionist doesn't speak English. Not enough parking spots. Tighny room. Not pleasant smell from bathroom. No air condition but when you open the window very noisy from the street. Rooms looks like from previous century (Czech standard).
Pros: Very clean, reception staff were very good, breakfast was good. Very reasonably priced
Pros: Very friendly stuff. Very tasty tomato soup in the pizzeria.
Pros: Staff were excellent and the food great value

The area is popular for skiing and cycling, and bike hire is available at Horská Chata Návrší.
Pros: nice place and view, stuff was kind and helpful, nice bathrooms (for that kind of place)
Cons: food, especially breakfast, no even one (!!) wall socket in the room, only in the corridor, which means that you had to have a fight with other people when you needed charge your batteries, no lamps in the room, no closets, no hangers etc., our room was pretty small and poor. But on the other hand - for that money it was almost luxury, so can not really complain. Good for one or two nights stand with your buddies, but hell no for families or kids.
Pros: Great view. Great food. Near walking and cycling paths.
Pros: A traditional mountain hut in the middle of a deep forest. This is the closest accomodation on booking.com to the Kralicky Sněžník peak. The beds were exceptionally cosy and it was very quiet all night. Breakfast was good, coffee was charged extra but only a small amount about 1 Euro.
Cons: Whilst it is clear that shared bathrooms are to be expected in a mountain hut like this, I always forget that towels are not provided.
Pros: The view!

Pros: Very friendly staff, perfect location in the middle of mountains, nice wellness facility,
Cons: Hotel servis was not performing well = no clear towels, no made beds etc. Food was average quality, sometimes in buffet dinner were missing specific dishes.
Pros: We love all ours stay. Amazing location in heart of moutins.Really nice and friendly staff. Alway ready to help.} p
Pros: Perfect location in the heart of the mountains, that's basically the only reason to stay here. Newly renovated (superior) rooms are decent, if you ignore the details. Restaurant serving good breakfast and local dishes during the day.
Cons: Value for money not that good considering you have to pay extra for many services (indoor pool and sauna notably). Poor WiFi in rooms. It works OK in lobby and restaurant.
Pros: the location is perfect, after 30 km walking we were really happy to stay in the hotel for the night. the beds were comfy. the hotel restaurant has small choice of food, but very good cooked. the breakfast we okay too.
Cons: the rooms are super old, the bathroom is small and dirty. the water is with terrible taste of iron, not for drinking for sure.
Pros: good location, food
Cons: Water stinks as old iron water pipe and no, this is not "minerals in water" it is really old iron water pipe. We could not even brush or teeth so we had to buy 1,5l for 1,5Eurs. Our reservation also states: free bike rental depending on availability-> there is no bike rental at all.
Pros: view is nice and the location is quite good, slopes are next to the hotel.
Cons: Definitely I am not recommending this place. The hotel qualifies to general renovation ! Rooms are very small and dirty, stains on the walls. We had dirty towel and glass with toothpaste in it. There is no warm water in the shower, so we had to go to the wellness place. Water is with terrible taste of iron (in the beginning is yellow). The swimming pool is full of fungus. Not worth the value. The time has stopped there in 80s. Coffee was quite good but the rest food not really. Miejsce nadaje się do generalnego remontu. Brak wody w pokojach, pozostałe rzeczy bez komentarza...
Pros: - Hiking trails start in front of the hotel. - quiet rooms - very friendly staff most of the time
Cons: - Unfriendly employee at restaurant on another day, didn't want to take orders for drinks 25 min before closing
