Restaurant food and staff no
It is an excellent business hotel & most of the guests are there for business. The rooms are large and comfortable & the bathroom is very good. The hotel is perhaps a little bland but generally good. Unless you have a car, it is a very long walk to the historic centre. The buses are not very frequent so cannot be relied apon
The staff were courteous & helpful
Close to senter and shops tv
We have stayed at this hotel several times through the years and have always liked it for its comfort and location with parking at the site. Everything was very good, nothing negative.
Very pleasant stay, that is why we use this hotel often, when in the area.
Nice hotel with free parking and easy to find. Not quite as close to the centre as hoped, but I guess only a 10 min walk away.
Very poor sound insulation and at times noisy . We could hear toilets flushing and showers being used
very clean, large, quiet, comfortable room will all facilities. Good breakfast in pleasant surroundings.
It was in great condition and very clean.
Comfort The higher rates of internet connection and the breakfast.
clean, comfortable room and bathroom, acceptable price, good breakfast out of city center
Very positive experience. Excellent rooms and outstanding stuff on the reception and at the restaurant. The food was also good, both breakfest and dinner. Free parking and turkish bath. Everything was just great.
There was nothing to complain about really. Had it not been about 2 kms from the old town, it would have been perfect. However, we had a car and this did not really bother us
Clean and pleasent rooms. Only complaint was that the location of the hotel was not signed very well, which made it a little difficult to find in the dark!
Excellent hotel for holiday with car in Tuscany & Umbria. Free parking, quiet hotel, helpful staff, free minibar (water and soft drinks), good location (it's few kilometers from Arezzo center so you need own car also for going there)
Just like every other AC hotel (or NH hotel). Modern and clean and the breakfast and personal are very nice. Free parking is included It is far from the center, but if you have a car it is no problem (but it is too far to walk). Being modern means also being a bit "boring" especially for charming Tuscana. Good option for a car vacation in Tuscany / Arezzo
Breakfast was excellent. Rooms modern, smart and extremely clean. Beds very comfortable. Good location for visiting Arezzo. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms
beautiful and clean bathroom, free minibar the location is a bit far from the city center
The Hotel was very comfortable and clean and very convenient for me as I was shooting at nearby Laterina. I did not anticipate that there were not any tea/coffee making facilities in the room or that the restaurant would be closed on weekends. Anyone booking should be told in advance.
The room was very modern and comfortable.
Clean room, very good breakfast. No heat in the room when it was cold outside. Poor transportation access to train station except by taxi. Too expensive.
Very friendly staff + cleanliness of the room + good food + excellent value. There was nothing I would complain about at this price. The location is a bit drab but easy to access. The hotel is a bit impersonal, lacks character and is a bit tired but offers excellent value and I would stay there again. Just twenty minutes walk in the old town of Arezzo.
Easy access from highway, but outside of the heart of the city. Few restaurants and other amentities nearby.
The room was spacious and well apointed. Breakfast was OK and the general facilities were good The Location. Too far out of the centre of Arezzo. Taxi ride to and from the cnetre was necessary as the bus service seemed infrequent
it was quiet and pleasent there was no internet serveice if you don't have a labtop
The rooms were large, comfortable and clean, bathroom good. The staff were more than helpful and curtious A bit too far out of the town, so include a 12 euro one way taxi ride in your budget. Could have done with employing bar staff instead of the receptionist doubling up on both jobs, understaffed.
Hotel staff was very helpful. My family and I only stayed for 1 night but the impression we got was of a well-organized hotel.
The Staff, value for money and the town.
Hotel staff is very very helpful and friendly. Restaurant is at the hotel, very convenient, especially when you arrive late and hungry and they serve you good italian food.
size of rooms, modern, location
location to town Train line runs beside hotel. Extremely noisy.
Central locatio, excellent reception staff, large room with kitchen corner, parking available and free. Very good fish restaurant next door with good prices.
Comfortable Room and Good Parking facilities
Location was handy to walled town and train station, appartment was spacious and comfortable
Our room was amazing.....so large with 3 balconies! Hotel is situated right on the train tracks, but just off the main highway. We didn't mind at all (earplugs). There is a restaurant attached that was great. Arezzo is a bigger town than I thought it would be....but we enjoyed the "old town" section very much. Train & bus station only 10 min walk. Easy trip to Cortona, about 1 hour by bus. Siena is 1.5 hrs by bus. Hotel was accommodating.....they even sell local wines in the lobby.
it was a spacious apartment nearby a railway station, sometimes noisy the reception was closed by arrival, but after a phone call the owner arrived to open the residence
The place is absolutely very nice. It is close to the rail tracks, but presonally, i wasn't bothered about this (others said the trains did make a lot of noise.. i didn't find it a big problem). Loved the place... too bad we couldn't stay longer :( It was quite hard to find the entrance... maybe more signs on the street.
These are apartments, in a five-storey building so there is variety. They are very spacious, and are very well equipped with very good kitchens - tea and coffee-making facilities, etc. Very good attention to details all tourists look for - hair-dryers, etc., and lots of floor and storage space. The manager (Monica) speaks five languages fluently (language teacher); is very approachable and works hard to make her guests feel looked after. The apartments also have a large restaurant on the premises, but you can also buy take away meals to have in your apartment. Some people may not like the fact that the apartment building is next to the railway line. This did not bother me at all. The advantage is that there is also direct short-cut access from the apartments through a gate and concrete pathway to the Arezzo station. Great if you have to cart luggage and children.
Very friendly staff, excellent location.
Modern ( in a 1970's style), clean, air condtioned - in hot Arezzo a must!- and very conveniently located - efficient calm - this was our second visit. some if the corridors need a refit
The room was very good for the price
location of the hotel bad relation quality-price, customer service
conveniently located very pleasant staff coffee was terrible! interior decoration of hotel could do with modernisation
Bathroom was very nicely done with a very good shower. Beds were not very comfortable. Coffe was not very good, coming out of a machine. It would have been nice to have been offered a latte or americano coffee.
Excellent situation in relation to train and bus stations which makes it possible to get into many parts of Tuscany and Umbria. Good comfortable accommodation and very reasonable buffet breakfast; some English spoken.
we stayed for 4 nights- location is execellent, close to train & bus station- breakfast was good - we could use minibar fridge for our snacks if they have a coffee machine or a kettle
for us it was the antique fair weekend no
Great location just 2 blocks from "Old Arezzo" and fantastic dinning. Clean rooms and helpful staff.
The room (Classic Double) was innovatively decorated and laid-out; bathroom was really modern, nice big, wide bath, super shower-room. Bedroom ceiling was frescoed - really well done. Room was spacious and well-laid out. Breakfast was good, with more fresh produce than seems to be the norm in even the better Italian hotels. Staff very helpful - although only the most rudientary English skills. Location great, couple of minutes walk into the heart of the town. If driving, take sat-nav, or get directions - Arezzo is not the easist town to navigate around.
Location, friendliness, helpful Outside noise, traffic and people from approx 6am
I did a reservation for parking in the hotel area - but this was not availible. Instead I have to pay Euro 35,- for an alternative nearby for 16 houres parking!
good breakfast, helpful staff, central location, individual rooms, very large beds
I like very large beautiful room. And I also like that the hotel is near the railway station There is nothing I didn't like in the hotel
We wanted to stay for a couple of days in Arrezzo. We travel frequently and usually stay in 5 star hotels but chose this hotel because of its convenient location in the City centre. We were very positively surprised - our room was large and high ceilinged with an attractive mixture of ancient and modern decor and the bathroom was modern and luxurious with,in addition, a large bath in the room and candles should one feel like a romantic candlelit soak. The staff were helpful and discrete and the continental buffet had everything we would wish for. Secure parking at the hotel is very convenient.
The rooms and other facilities are unusually modern for Italy. They seem to get a lot of tours, but they handle them well, separate dining rooms etc. We stayed there because it was relatively close to the Florence airport. The sound proofing is much less good than that of most hotels in Italy, probably because of its modern construction. it is also hard to locate for anyone but a Florence cab driver
Excellent location, very helpful staff and beautiful decor. Very poor soundproofing of our room. We were kept awake by people talking at a normal level in the room next door.
First Class Nothing
Location and size of room...very large. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Location is good with Bar and restaurant neaby. Very conconvenient to walk up to the sightseeing spot. Quiet at night. Inside teh room, there is i-mac note book service in the room - Good and free of charge
Very friendly staff, they offered me an upgrade at the same price and were very helpful in selecting the restaurant. Great rooms, free use of an ibook in each room, good breakfast. The economy is really tiny, but I was upgraded; air conditioning a bit noisy and not possible to select the air speed
The staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful, even helping us book a massage at the hotel. We loved the individual character of the room. One can even drive up to the hotel to unload the car, then it is well worth paying for their secure parking. The location is central and perfect for walking around.
The hotel itself and the rooms are quite well appointed and the friendly staff in this delightful hotel were extremely helpful with suggestions of places to see and a range of excellent restaurants to visit. They also arranged for taxis, forward bookings, language clarification and a host of small items that make traveling so much easier. Well done ! From a comfort point of view the lack of control over room air conditioning (or lack of it) is common in Europe after Oct 1 when the focus shifts to heating. Only alternative is to open the windows.
excellent location; very romantic canopy bed !, fruit in the room !, beautiful colours: blue bedroom, yellow bathroom; room size; very steep stairs from the reception and no lift for upper floors;
Location is vary nice and comfort and room excellent
The care and welcome given to guests in the hotel at all times. The food was good and the wine excellent and the view from the top of the hill breathtaking in more ways than one.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent. The room, the setting and the views were lovely. We found this an incredible value.
Relaxing and sophisticated country setting.Staff very warm and friendly..extremely competent and attentive. Did not like the limited air flow in room. Abbey/monastery size window with out view of the outside..room very small.
Beautiful hotel with an excellent restaurant and a breathtaking view over Arezzo. Very romantic. The hotel is located on the mountain. It is quite isolated.
Superb location overlooking Arezzo town. Very friendly and welcoming. Attractive terrace and swimming pool, cleaned daily. Meals of very high standard served in dining room.
Stephan and I both loved the location and the setting of the hotel. We would give 11/10 for the staff friendliness and efficiency. Restaurant was wow...excellent food and a great selection of wines. We both agreed this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Grazie Mille!
The situation and the view from our room over the hills of Arezzo. WiFi reception was very good. The breakfast superb. We got a wrong loacation for our Tom Tom gps from the website and were forced to drive over a sandy road in the rain over Santa Lucia Hill. The direction is not Badia Pomaio, San Polo
The Staff were very friendly and efficient and the location was stunning. No
Very friendly, and very good food.
airy and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff a little bit too up-scaled and over-priced restaurant as for this kind of accommodation, imprecise definition of half board - in fact not including breakfast, difficult to find
Absolutely fabulous, great staff, great location, amazing views, great food, huge room and bathroom. Loved it
Familiar and customised approach of the staff to customer.
Pool area was great! Also the staff at the reception were really nice and helpful. Food at the restaurant was exceptionally good, we thought it was the best meal we had in our week vacation in Tuscany! It would have been even better if we would have had a view over the amazing scenery from our room :)
The hotel is very nice, a different place to stop and relax. Silence everywhere. My room was nice and utterly cleaned. I went there during deers' breeding season and you can hear them!! Amazing.. I appreciated the attention for little things (prosecco the first day, maps of the area and suggestions where to go, flowers everywhere) Nothing
beautiful surroundings, very friendly staff, good food
Friendly/helpfull Staff; Excellent dinner; Location in the middle of the state park; plenty of parking space. Simple breakfast (compared to level of the other services/facilities)
Friendly staff Small boring rooms. The restaurant is very average. Wifi sometimes did not work. Too close to the road.
Good location to start daytrips in the area The loads of mosquitos
Excellent dinner and choice of italian wines / Courtesy of staff breakfast especially morning coffe
Exotic and historic building in east Chianti for a good price.
The room provided was exactly as shown in the photographs. Room service was excellent. All the hotel facilities are available nad there is free Wireless internet 24h. What is really special, is the restaurant. Fore reasonable prices you get real italian Gourmet cuisine and a vast variety of wines. Highly recommended
Nice area, calm, good basic Toscany food, good wine list and resonable prices of wine and food The street adress used in public (internet a.s.o.) is not correct and makes your arrival via GPS complicated. Their business card is correct!
This was a special find. A real treat. Great location. Excellent restaurant. And best value accomodation we found in Europe.
The hotel was fine - although it must be pointed out that there was building work on going at the time of our stay - it was not intrusive. The Hotel is clean and comfortable with a reasonable pool and plenty of room outside to relax. Breakfast was a little limited in choice but you wont starve! Dinner was fine although I doubt many could manage the full 4 courses - good wine list to go with the excellent food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Being British I was a bit of a task to get a cup of tea - just like in teh rest of Italy but we survived!
They were only too happy to provide gluten free food. I think this should be advertised on the website, they were so helpful and deserve recognition.
The hotel offered excellent value for money. The room was comfortable, reasonably spacious and had an excellent ensuite. The staff were extremely friendly and attentative and the daily room service was of a very good standard. The cold buffet style breakfasts were very enjoyable with plenty to eat. We would certainly go back. The view from the bedroom overlooked an industrial yard, but considering the excellent value for money the hotel offered, it was not an issue. A larger outside terrace area would also have been an advantage.
The price and the breakfast. The location (very isolated), and the feeling of no-staff anywhere.
Staff was friendly and helpful, room was very nice.
Large and clean room, reasonable price
This hotel is awesome. The staff are great and cant help you enough, The hotel itself has just been opened, and everything is brand new. Breakfast was great. Location was great and very convenient. I cant find one fault in this hotel. Maybe its a little difficult to find. Only because the address did not function with the navigation system. They are located behind a restaurant, and because they just opened there were no signs. But i guess this will be rectified in the near future.
rooms are confortable, well furnished...breakfast correct. the hotel is located far away from everything...
This hotel is in a perfect location right off of the autostrade between florence and rome. It is very clean, easy to get to and the size of the room is excellent. The staff was friednly overall and the price was great. I wuold try to call ahead. I booked with booking.com and had confirmation number but the desk person when we arrived (late at night) didnt seem to have our reservation booked. It turned out ok but I wonder if the hotel was booked full would we have been turned away. Even still i would 100% stay there again.
the cleanliness of the building it is situated in, what seems like a lorry park. this was not, however, a problem
The garden hotel was is a relatively new building that has very good access to the A1. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean with a powerful shower. The breakfast was adequate and well presented. The hotel is the perfect stopover on route up & down the A1 and good value. No resturant open in the hotel
