Chateau Fleur De Lys - l'Hotel

The Chateau Fleur de Lys – L’Hotel is across from the Parc des Gouverneurs. The boutique hotel was once the mansion of Madame Florence Adelaide Allen White, daughter of Canada’s wealthiest man when the home was constructed. Its 19th-century design preserves the character of the house’s original design.

The Chateau Fleur de Lys has 16 rooms, each with carefully restored treasures. They have hardwood, silk, linen, leather, terracotta, velvet, and marble. Guests can choose from economy rooms, suites, thematic rooms, or the Suite Florence A. White.

Economy rooms feature views of the roofs of old Quebec and Chateau Frontenac. The Guest room is the only room in the house with a private bathroom outside the room, found across the hall. It has one queen size bed for two-person maximum occupancy. The standard room has one double bed for two-person maximum occupancy. It has a full bathroom with bathtub and private terrace.

Suites come with either a king-sized bed or two queen-sized beds. In the Junior Suite with a king-sized bed, guests overlook the St. Lawrence River, Chateau Frontenac or the Citadelle of Quebec. All have bathrooms with underfloor heating and walk-in showers. The Queen-sized bed suites are designed with the 60s in mind.

Thematic rooms contain a single queen-sized bed and are decorated in contemporary style or mid-century room. Each is uniquely decorated and contains their bathroom. The largest room is the Florence A. White Suite. The bay window gives visitors an exceptional view of Chateau Frontenac, the St. Lawrence River, and Parc des Gouverneurs.
