Spacious rooms for Europe, big bathrooms, very clean, decent breakfast included with price of room, free wi-fi. Owner seemed a bit gruff at first, but perservere, it's worth it, he's a great guy. No clock in the room.
I've stayed twice. The rooms are immaculate! It is not the Ritz, but it is a fine, comfortable, clean hotel. With breakfast!
The castle and staff were wonderful. The spa was very nice as well. My husband and I never left the hotel because there were so many things to do at the castle.
great breakfast rooms are small - general comfort is poor
The beautiful building and location. The car access barrier entry system remote from the main building. We rang the recepetion buzzer four times over a five minute period and never had any reply. We only got through the barrier because finally another car was exiting! It was stressful having to'jump' the barrier and not suitable for a 4 star hotel. The reception member of staff did not apologise and simply said he was 'on the phone' and couldnt answer the buzzer. This seems quite unacceptable as an entry system. It beggared belief that he couldnt see/respond to the buzzer while on the phone at the same time.He did not apologise or give any indication that he was concerned for our inconvenience and remained unsmiling throughout.A poor welcome to a lovely place, what a let down.
Beautiful location Room that showed on the website did not match the one we were given and the bathroom was extremely filthy. The hotel staff did not believe this until we printed out the picture from the website. After that they changed our room. Website did not state that the pool cost 18 euros per person per use and that parking was free as long as you were willing to walk up the mountain. This hotel is for people with too much money and not enough sense. If you want to see the castle stay down at the town for cheaper and walk up.
Everything! It was sheer bliss. The location was wonderful and the staff could not have been more helpful. The service was absolutely first class.
The pizza resraurant The wine cellars were always closed. On mondays the main restaurant is closed. The rooms are definately not for cat-swingers. The furniture was more S/H Ikea than antique.
Staying in comfort in a magnificent historical building Repetitive background music in the grounds
perfect view, nice environment
The place and park Restaurant was closed, but food in pizzeria was very bad.
We found the hotel a wonderful and relaxing experience after coming off a 10-day cruise . The hotel's hilltop setting/service is what one thinks of when speaking about the beauty of the Italian countryside..
The hotel was well situated in the center of town, was clean and it had a good restaurant (great breakfast buffet!!) and other services. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we had (#204), although well-appointed, had some low ceiling beams and only two very small windows so it felt a bit claustrophobic and we did want to spend any time in it other than to sleep and use the nice bathtub.
I did not like the room because it is very uncomfortable and also the bed was dirty. The garage was quite close to the hotel but very expensive.
location, facilities and cleanliness
The hotel and staff were charming!
everything are best. nothing
General friendliness and helpfulness of staff and the excellent location. No.
Beste Lage , sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
staff-service-Elena was terrific
Location was good, the girls at the front desk were great, all in all anice experience The fitness center was just OK
Clean, just down the street from cimba Dinner was not too exciting
The building and the surrounding area is just gorgeous! Paderno del Grappa is a beautiful town. And the staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate! There was only one very small garbage can, in the bathroom. There should be another slightly bigger one in the bedroom itself!
The staff were charming and helpful the rooms and public areas immacculately clean. the views wonderful the area quiet. The hotel advertised restaurant and swimming pool. The small print says the pool is down the road but the pool was closed during our stay. There were no restaurant facilities either. Italian holiday period and guest facilites obvioulsy reduced - it would be only fair to make this clear when booking - we actually only had B&B services so could have stayed eslewhere cheaper too.
I stayed to visit some friends in the nearby International University. It was in a very quiet small town but would be a nice stop on a trip.
Very clean rooms, warm family like feeling with the staff. Very accomodating!
The room was very modern in its look and feel, large enough shower that 2 could use at same time if they wanted conserving water, convienent parking lot and easy to find. Breakfast left something to be desired, but staff was very helpful.
Striking beauty at the foot of the Grappa mountains, nice rooms, cute flowered balcony overlooking small downtown area. Clean hardwood floors, beds OK for Europe (they all tend to be a bit hard), passable A/C, great breakfasts. Beautiful area, semi-rural, small towns, but an easy drive to Possagno, Bossano and Asolo. Good rates, staff spoke decent English, eager to be helpful. I would stay there again. The hairdryer in the room didn't work, but within minutes they brought a replacement.
It was comfortable, convenient for our purposes, and friendly.
Staff was very friendly and helpful The pool and sauna are at a nearby school - which was closed for winter holidays when we were there. We were very disappointed. We chose the hotel for Christmas day because we knew most places would be closed, and we could just spend a day at the pool.
very nice small hotel poor breakfast
The staff was very accommodating whenever we had a request. The location is about 15 minutes walk from train station and 5 minutes to old town. Our room was large with a very nice bathroom. It is a nice place to stay. For us there was nothing we did not like.
We (2 adults, 1 child) stayed in the hotel only one night during our North Italy trip however we enjoyed our stay and would do it again if we ever come back to Bassano del Grappa,
Good Location, Good Parking
Very friendly staff, comfortable room, good breakfast
Staff was very friendly and the location made it very easy to take short walks around te city with young kids; no need to drive anywhere.
The hotel itself and the fact that it lies near the old town of Bassano del Grappa See above
Great location and very kind staff!
Our room needed a good clean and minor renovations
Our room had a balcony that looked out to the mountains. When there was a problem with a third bed in the room a replacement was brought in quickly to remedy the problem. Some of the staff at the hotel were not helpful. At checkout the service person was curt and abrupt about the total checkout amount....I feel that had I not had the printout from booking.com I would have had to pay about 300 more euros.
The laundry service was excellent.
Good internetconnections, comfortable room. Lift was small and old. The indication of the hotel is poor. In the city the hotel is known as Belvedere Hotel. Nobody knows Top City and Country Line Bonnotto Hotel Belvedere.
staff very friendly, resturant very good air conditioning, mini bar, lights, film channel were not working
We stayed in a Junior Suite (or double room gold) for 2 nights which was extremely roomy, neat & tidy, quiet & cleaned daily. Absolutely magnificent. No complaints at all.
pleasant location and close proximity to the old town and river. Reasonable lobby area with ample seating for guests in a quaint atmosphere. no recreational facilities, small rooms, sub-standard showers
Location, quiet, comfortable bed Hotel staff not very helpful. Parking is awful
Great Hotel with all round excellent facilities.
his location poor breakfast
We've stayed there before so we liked the location and the friendiness of the Front desk and Breakfast staff, All rooms should have tea/coffee making facilities. not just the comfort rooms
Very well placed to enjoy Bassano and its many delights. Plain and unpretentious business hotel. The hotel is a bit souless. In the morning you could be in anyone of a thousand hotels.
The Hotel is very well situated . Calm area and nevertheless very close to the Center. I spent 6 Days with two small Children ( under 2 Years). I recommend it for family.
Confortable and calm. Close to the city centre and to railway and bus stations. Price for internet acess was higher than indicated during the reservation.
big and comfortable rooms low quality breakfast, self-important manner from the concierge
Good location and the staff are always first class, rooms are comfortable, you are made to feel at home at the Bonotto. we enjoyed the stay and would return to this hotel. No
Friendly staff, clean, good location and excellent yet simple selection for breakfast, tall the hotel staff are great and give good service and I would like to mention Lena, Messamo, Giovarni and Renatta who gave once again exceptional service to me and my family. We stayed four time now at this hotel and will return when staying in the Bassano area None
It is a straight forward business hotel with little character.
The relaxed feel and welcoming atmosphere. Fully functioning facilities, and no reason to criticise. The location was ideal for the town centre. The tea and coffee making facilities criticised in a previous online comment were actually available in our room!
The kindness of the staff. everyone was extreamely friendly. Good breakfast n/a
very comfortable room and very warm careful if you check in after 6pm, ring first.
Landscape, but I guess in summer it looks much nicer Rooms were far away from the other buildings (restaurant, front desk etc.). Upon arrival it took quite some time to figure out where the front desk was and once we found it, we realized it was only open from 9am to 6 pm, so in case you have any kind of need/question after 6pm, there's no way you'll find someone who can help you. Not sure I would stay there again.
The hotel charged us 20 euro more than we had agreed to pay. Left feeling like we had been robbed. Not happy!!
Very very nice little villa within a beautiful scenary. The staff was very serviceminded and showed a great hospitality. The restaurant was very charming with the old guy who worked both as a chef and waiter. If you stay at this hotel you should definitely have a visit at the restaurant Location. A bit difficult to find
Superb hotel. Very kind staff.
the park, the view, the feeling of being received in a almost family run manor, the relax at the pool side, they are dog friendly the pool attire is a bit rundown, but this is also part of the flavour
It's a very nice place to stay, quiet and nice, it's the ideal starting point for discovering the surrounding area
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and comfortable with a beautiful view of the swimmingpool and the green hills in the background. We booked a family room + an extra bed. We were pleasantly surprised to be allocated a suite with a connecting entrance hall. Bathrooms were fresh and modern. Both rooms had a lot of individual character. Villa Soligo is a perfect place to relax and get away from things. It is not a big hotel in terms of number of rooms and this helps to maintain the calm and relaxing feeling. Although we travelled in the height of the summer season it never felt crowded in the hotel, in the hotel grounds or around the pool. Very relaxing. The beautiful, historical building is an added bonus. We missed not having tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The staff were happy to provide a pot of hot water and cups but this, of course, was not as quick and convenient. The service of hot drinks at breakfast was not that efficient and the breakfast buffet was a little boring. More types of bread and some sliced tomatoes, peppers and cucumber would be good. The TV in our room did not work well, but this was not a problem to us as we did not want to watch TV on holiday anyway. The shower cubicle was not water proof as some water always leaked on to the floor when showering.
The suite was fantastic. We booked a quadruple room and they gave us a marvelous two room suite. The restaurant is also very good, with very nice staff.
The staff was tremendous, including Andrea at the front desk and Nello and Matteo at the restaurant. The hotel's restaurant is wonderful, with a beautiful room and delicious food and wine. The pool and gardens are very nice, especially the pool overlooking the vineyards.
the man in the restaurant, food and villa- magic place nothing
Staff, pool, comfort, friendliness, breakfast, and staff member Andrea! No
The staff - all of them - extremely efficient and good-spirited
Everything The location: close to an industrial estate..
Very helpful and friendly staff. Couldn't do too much for you. Lovely rooms. Wonderful elegant restaurant serving top quality food and wine.. Need to be aware that the restaurant is closed on both Sunday evening and all day Monday - would have been helpful to have known this up front.
Large, well-appointed room. Wonderful dining room.
The staff were always very helpful. The restaurant is excellent, and we had a very nice and quiet room as requested. It would have been good to know in advance about restuarant hours (closure on Sundays).
How hospitable everyone was and how easy it was to get around. The location was perfect and the staff were great.
Very friendly and helpful staff, large room, underground parking included, excellent Enoteca next door (good food and the extensive winelist is very reasonably priced) Housekeeping was just a bit loud in their enthousiastically performed morning duties. Just something I notice in a lot of hotels.
Location - Friendliness of staff - Complete and good breakfast. It would be nice to have a kettle to make tea coffee in the room/suite.
The architectural structure of the hotel, the views of the river was excellent. underground car park is a plus. Pieve di Soligo is a nice town. Old furniture
Everything very nice. Thank you.
