Wonderful design hotel with a fantastic big room ( we got a suite) situated on a boulevard across big sandy beach. the welcome bob bon and some fruit made it perfect When you step out of elevator it is really dark in the hallway without natural daylight...but it made surprise of the light room even bigger
Loved everything about the hotel and the helpful staff clean modern and great location
Quit good breakfast for 8 EUR. Worth the money.
A modern and well designed hotel. No adverse comments.
Very large room with great sea views.
Very nice property My convertor was taken from my room twice. So causing me the expense for purchasing 2 convertors. I then had to go down to the desk to ask for a blow dryer to use and instead of just leaving it in my room, they kept taking it back and I would have to go down to the desk everyday to ask for one.
Nice rooms and beautiful views The cleaninf service was poor to almost non-existent...they expected us to wash our own dishes?! The staf were unfriendly and it felt like they were doing you a favour.
Great stay at this hotel. Beautiful situation and view. Very comfortable accomodation. Nice staff.
Very nice and comfortable hotel in the center of Figueira da Foz. Very comfortable and spacy rooms, with wonderfull view to ocean. Recommended to everybody who are looking for a short break during trip trough Portugal Nothing
great value and great to have a balcony The breakfast is very expensive.
Location on beach was nice. Breakfast was ok, but I would have not paid extra for it if was not included in the rate. Hotel is very noisy, Nightclub next door kept us awake til 5 A.M. Room is very basic. Bed not very comfortable. More a 3 star than a 4 star.
The way at the reception desk I was welcomed the first day and the service during all my stay was perfect, "sunny people" in a sunny country NA
Everything was perfect!!!
Excellent location and facilities, first class hotel
Very welcoming and rooms where clean and spacious, location right opposite beach is superb and local restaurants 5 minute walk away. Only thing we found was food was pricey and better to eat in a local restaurant, cheaper and better quality
Excellent design, decoration and superb art work. Lovely room with wonderful balcony viewing the beach and sea. Good quality food. Polite, helpful staff. Great for the centre of town. Air conditioning was not working and, though it was easily possible to live with this, it was frustrating and uncomfortable until we asked about it; it would have been helpful to have been told about the problem upon arrival so that we would not have spent time trying to adjust the controls ourselves. I'm sure this won't be an issue for long!
A real touch of luxury for a very good price (out of season). We had a sea view which was breath-taking! The balcony which was glazed allowed us to sit out and enjoy the view whatever the weather. Because it was out of season, there weren't a huge number of restaurants open nearby, so we dined at the hotels restaurant. Selection wasn't huge and it was a very average meal at the cost of 90 euros for 4 people (main course, a bottle of wine and water only). Service was very slow considering there were only two other tables with people on.
nice clean rooms and good location needed tea / coffee facilities in bedrooms
Best staff of portugal. They managed to find a cancelled accomodation.
very big, clean room, swimming pool, near the beach breakfast - 5 days the same menu
Enough parking places in front of the hotel, air-conditioning and a refrigerator in the rooms, friendly staff. Very isolated location. choice of menu-options with dinner was rather poor.
We like the quietness, the dinner and breakfast and beach walks of course. I think that the access to the health club should be better (it's an outwards one).
Very close to the beach, spacious room, good breakfast. The beds could be more comfortable.
Location, room size Uncomfortable bed (twin room), unavailable game room
Excellant location, we were lucky to be entertained with some traditional Portugese dancing and signing put on for a party of French visitors Poor view from room overlooking the fire escape and car park. Unable to shut bathroom window and were therefore cold at night. Would recommend hotel with reservations
Peacefull and queit alternative for pro business travellers Free WLAN (as advertised) operated only accosianaly, pay WLAN operated well (couple €/hour), small but really irritant thing, hotel personnel did not react about complaiment - "try again later...
A nice pleasant hotel with good staff Like most hotels - very few tv channels
in front of the beach, big room
the hotel had seen better days. the room was tatty and needed some work. the toilet had a smell, it was clean.we had a sea view which was great and the balcony was bigger than the room. breakfast was basic
Location right at the beach, balconyview over the sea superb ! Nice swimmingpool. Parking at the site. Aircondition & elevator comfortable, no noise from nearby rooms.Friendly hotelstaff at reception. Hotel is easy to find. Clean but old decoration of accomodation, also public spaces very empty, not cosy. We did not like the breakfast, especially not the coffee. Easy acces by car, but a bit far to walk to restaurants, no bus service in the evening.
The pool was very convenient and the beach was nearby with plenty of parking available. The food in he restaurant was not good. The breakfast could have been improved with hot option.
Excellent hotel. Good price. Nice pool.
Good location near the beach, staff were friendly and helpful
The room was spacious and clean. Service was patchy, Inside the hotel the staff were efficient but by pool side snack bar, especially in the morning it was dire.
Location, facilities, hotel-apartement idea itself, staff, etc... Even the weather was excellent this October, the pool was already out of use because of water "winter" treatment.
this hotel was amazing and deserves better than a 3 star and would defintley recomend it
had to have broken light bulbs replaced on arrival in room
Pool area and main areas of the hotel were very nicely maintained. our room was shabby, exposed concrete and plumbing noises were unbearable. I got up in the night turned off the main water tap in the room as toilet water never stopped running. Didnt complain only staying one night, thank God!!!
Very helpful friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area and water not too deep for kids. Rooms could do with updating I wasn't too keen on exposed concrete which looked almost prison like !!! Also booked wake up call in middle of night didn't happen thank god for mobiles or we would've missed our flights.
Sophisticated and very cheap for what is offered
Having a small apartment was helpful. Staff were most accommodating.
Everything was fine. Very good quality for the price. The staff did not speak very well English. But honestly, this was completely no problem for what was needed.
Nice hotel good location Sometimes a noise from the pub close to the hotel
Extremely difficult to find the car parking garage. However, the receptionist arranged for someone to accompany me. Very clean rooms. Should be a better map to guide one to the car park. Breakfast borded on basics. Needed more fresh fruit. The sausages & scrambled eggs needed to be kept warmer.
It is right in the center of the old part of F. da Foz, it is only about 100 yards from a gigantic beach, it is close to some really good places to eat. When it gets windy the windows howl a little from the wind; maybe need to be renovated on the outside around the windows. some people might actually like that sound, I thought it was annoying.
Good standard 3* Hotel . Located in centre of town giving good access to restaurants and within a few minutes walking distance to beach. Good Italian Restaurant at hotel
This hotel is very close to the beach and the city center as well in a quiet street.
The rooms were comfortable and clean I ordered a double room but only got a twinay. The restuarant was closed. The wireless internet did not work during the entire st
Very noisy through the night.
Room cleaning and fair price Bulbs where not functioning and was not fixed even if asked for. Had to catch room cleaning. Electrical contact had no power.
The small chalet style rooms were nice and clean. The location and views were excellent. The staff were very unfriendly and surly. We barely received a grunt from them on arrival and everything appeared to be too much trouble. The water ran straight out of the shower and into the shower room and main room, which must have been happening for some time as it made the shower room smell very damp.
Very friendly and helpful staff. good value for money.dinner was excellent. the view of the city and the beach was stunning It was a bit off the beten path and difficult to find. The road leading to the hotel was terrible.
Hotel is new and clean. View is wonderful and the service is very good. Could be like your home out of our home... To who looking for rest, ia a good option. I recommend. O hotel é novo, limpo. A vista é maravilhosa e o atendimento é muito bom. É possível que nos sintamos em casa. Para quem quer descansar é uma optima opção. Recomendo.
Casa Pinha great place to stay, with great location on the top of hill and with unforgetable view from restaurant and from some rooms. Reccomended for everyone. At reception nobody speak English but it's not a big problem :-)
Friendly people, good food in the restaurant, modest but clean room, great view, beautiful location
Excellent location No internet in the rooms, poor breakfast and other services
Location Small room, windows faced the street and there was a bit noisy
Good location, with car parking. Good breakfast. Rooms a little tired, very thin pillow (1)and room needed airing.
Welcome was good, a request for extra pillows handled politley and efficiently, buffet breakfast was fresh and available, apart from that no other contact Rooms althought adequate where tired and needed some maintenance. No information on facilities or area in rooms, but area in reception
The breakfast place The rooms were very old and dirty
The central position and its proximity to the beach Lack of free car parking
staff friendly and helpful desk clerk wasn't very friendly when we informed him that we were staying only 1 night.
Great staff, great position Poor breakfast, a little bit oldfashion
Great location to explore Figueira da Foz with easy access from train and bus. Close to beach and local market. Hotel service excellent with very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff were very helpful and free internet very handy. Highly recommended.
Comfortable bed, good sized bath, good bedside reading light. No free internet, and internet not working for 2 days.
The location of the hotel was perfect to get to everything as it was smack bang in the city centre. Our room did not get cleaned at all. We only stayed for 2 nights but it didnt get cleaned at all which was a bit disappointing
Good location, good value for money. Staff were helpful and rooms were clean & comfortable.
Wel equiped rooms.
We were in the beach, sun burning, walking in the streets, see views, meet people, eting local food or see food. that we put on the door the sight "dont disturb" but gentlewoman come inside and clean our room. We didn't ask this.
hotel was ok but not the best.
location toilet was so tiny that i could barely move.
It was convienient for town centre and beach. Good value for money. Friendly staff. directions a bit vague.
The location of the hotel was good, with easy access into town I booked a twin room and on arrival was given a double. It was changed after reporting it to reception.Had to pay for spa facilities
The most preasant staff how i ever met. All time smiling and helpfull. Hotel have nice quiet location ( 10 metres from nice beaches) Beach is really in front of hotel. You can see nice sunset from hotel balcony. I like everything there it was the nicest holiday for me and my girlfriend.
Location was excellent. The staff were very helpful especially as I dont speak Portuguese
Everything was just great! Hotel is locatec in the city centre of Figueira da Foz just a walking distance from the beach, perfect staff plus the morning breakfasts was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and tidy, beds very comfortable, toilets were in the rooms very spacious and bright. the hotel is located in the city centre and Figueira da Foz at weekends, especially nights does not sleep untill early morning hours (it's a typical summer place with parties and young people coming home around 4-5am) which might be a disadvantage for those travelling with children.
The location was exelent for our stay as we participated in Portugal O-meeting 2010 in the nearby area.
Stuff is wery pleasant, location is in the centre of old city and close to the beach, very clean, interior gives authentical old building feeling. Nobody speaks english
the caring staff nothing that reminds me
the room was clean and the towel changed every day. nobody on the reception so we have always the keys with us. the breakfast is not a buffet so there is only coffee/tea, and bread, marmelade and cheese and ham. the hotel is on the central street and you can't stay with open window because there is too noise. the air conditional doesn't work.
all the staff was very helpful. internet wi-fi was sometime missing in the upper rooms
The room was clean and spacious with an excellent bathroom. The hotel was situated very near to the Beach
