Pros: Being close enough to walk to the beach and being close to Santander. It was also in a quiet location and the staff were very polite.
Cons: When we opened the window there was an unpleasant smell coming from outside. Although it was advertised as having satellite tv there were very few channels and none in English. The facilities in the room would not have been suitable for a longer term stay.

Cons: Small TV
Pros: It was a lovely new spanish style hotel just in the middle of the town and on a 10 minute walk to the port.

Pros: The arquitecture and hotel decor and style was exquisite; however the AC was not working and when we tried to use the fan the smell was putrid. Fortunately, we were able to open windows and get fresh air. Aside from that, we loved everything about it..
Cons: Lack of AC, bad wifi and no porter.

The property is on the beach with great views and sounds from the surf. The room was modern and clean and the internet worked well. The onsite restaurant is overpriced because there are no other places to eat unless you walk a half mile or take a short bus ride into the city proper. Parking is ample and was included in our stay...what a relief!! NOTE that not all rooms have air conditioning!! Not a problem in November (when we stayed) but could be a real concern in summer.
Pros: It is on the beach and quiet. Ample parking included in price of stay.
Cons: No places to eat in the immediate vicinity.

An outdoor pool and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale bed & breakfast offer flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Cons: 1. WIFI does NOT work. Missed deadlines! I was unable to do work because of wifi not working, missed important deadlines!
2. Every door slams so loud that sounds like bomb.
3. Smells cheap and kinda nasty.
4. Receptionists are incompetent and showed attitude instead of trying to resolve the problems related o WIFI.
5. The day I was leaving they proposed to change room. I thought it was clear expression of mocking and making fun of a customer.
5. In room 506, there is a light on the building outside near the window, which so strong that at night seems like you are the beach in front of the sun and the curtains do not help. I am not a light sleeper and I fall asleep easily, during this 4 day stay I could not sleep because of that and extremely loud door slamming.
Overall experience was horrible. I flew across the globe from Los Angeles for work and due to mainly almost not working WIFI my trip was next to nothing. I feel I was robbed. This hotel does not deserve to be 4 star one.
