Unfortunately - Building work on the front of the hotel.
very clear and comfortable
the service was very friendly and helpful, courtyard was beautiful (more like a resort than hotel), parking garage underneath hotel breakfast was overpriced, pool wasn't exciting but was warmer than the so-called hot tub.
Swimming pool was very nice. Did not like that you had to walk outside or in the garage to get to the swimming pool, this would be very cold in the winter months. Breakfast was way over priced and not worth the money.
great breakfast, peaceful location, very clean parking and a way to the lobby. you have to get out to get in to the restaurant (100m) - not good for a cold or rainy day. Kids have to be dressed to get out - not convenient. old fashioned door keys - difficult to hide when sightseeing. This hotel consists of several old buildings that have been rebuiled.
it was generaly good the matrasses were stiff
The stay was comfortable, beautiful setting, excellent connection to downtown. If I have to go to Dresden again, I would stay there again.
The very pleasant and well trained staff. The location. The beautiful spa. The nice breakfast buffet. Many little details that are not always provided in an hotel of this category, like the bath robess (no slippers, unfortunately). A very pleasant hotel indeed. Sonic insulation is not very good. One hears noise from other rooms. The breakfast room tends to be crowded. The architecture is banal.
Close location to Dresden Easy access to parking Nice surrounding Quiet Size of the rooms comfortable Close location to Dresden Easy access to parking Nice surrounding Quiet Size of the rooms comfortable Easy access to parking Nice surrounding missed a chair in the bathroom, no luggage rack, no A/C, just the nails in the walls and no pictures, no bed covers,
It's a very quiet hotel with good facilities.
everything was good no, just is not so near to dresdem but we can take the tram and go there in a few minutes without problem
My stay here was very special because of the kindness and warmth of the staff, the tranquil setting - and yet closeness to Dresden and the elegance of the main hotel. Being able to access all the facilities of the main hotel again added to the pleasurable experience of my stay.
quiet, good staff breakfast a little bit expensive
very nice hotel, total silence!! a little far from center, but the tram is fast enough.
From the desk to the restaurant the staff is absolutely superb. $18 dollars for breakfast is just too high !!!
The convenience to countryside and Dresden. The toilet fan did not work, small bottles of bath and shower gel and soap not supplied.Could have done with an additional pillow and tea making facilities.
Breakfast was very good. Also enjoyed swimming pool-big and clean. Staff also was very helpful. Nice view on the back of the hotel - vine yards :) In bathroom floor all the time was with water after taking shower even with closed doors and there were nothing with what to take this water so you have to use own towel that you can`t use after. Also a bit inconvenient is staying in last villa of the territory if it is raining. You are wet while getting from main building to your room. I could suggest to hotel to put some umbrellas for moving inside hotel territory in case of rain.
The hotel staff were excellent, being both pleasant and helpful. The location, close to a tram stop with easy access to all parts of Dresden and its environs, was ideal. Expensive breakfast!
Room is great, in beautiful surrounding, and large enough to be comfortable with 2 small kids (4 and 5 YO). Best possible value for money. The kitchen is very helpful when travelling with children. Also, the concierge is knowledgeable and a big help. You pay for the room, and that's what you get. Anything else is extra (and not cheap) - wireless interenet, breakfast, swimming pool, etc.
The rooms were spacious and quiet. Parking was plentiful. It was hot in the room and no option of turning down the heating.
Pleasant setting in the wooded Moritzburg park. Good breakfast buffet and pleasant terrace. Pleasant hunting lodge decor. Room was small, stuffy, and cramped, Very noisy food delivery activities outside our window awakened us at 7 am. Are internet clients assigned less desirable rooms?
Walking around the near nature
The apartment size we had was great. Was able to sleep 8 people and had a kitchen available. Breakfast was a good quality, and an easy tram ride into the city of Dresden
The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfasts bounteous, the best I have had on this trip. An excellent hotel.
We had two apartments which were very spacious, we really liked having two bathrooms in one apartment and the kitchen in the other. It worked out well for us since we were traveling as two separate families. Location to the Metro was great since we were traveling into Dresden for the Christmas Market. It was very loud due to the restaruant below our apartment and people staying above us that ran up and down the stairs for quite some time.
Nice location, helpful and kind staff, very good breakfast and clean rooms. While I had booked a parking space, that wasn't available. The free spots were limited and I had to park in a 3h limit parking zone and finally I got a parking ticket. But the Hotel staff recognized their fault and they reimbursed the parking ticket and the prepaid parking.
The room was large, clean, and very accommodating for our family of six. Breakfast was outstanding, as well as overall service.
Staff, breakfasts, condition of room, attention to detail were all outstanding. Fine family-owned and operated inn. Ample parking and quiet location, yet easy walk to all Moritzburg sites. Ideal location for attending the international Moritzburg Festival of outstanding classical chamber music. Short walk from the Castle and right across the street from the Church Moritzburger, an important festival venue.
Location excellent, room well laid out and clean, tranquil surroundings, well looked after by manager. Food good, although breakfast choice a little restricted. Would readily stay there again for a longer period.
Friendly staff, great surroundings, and proximity to Dresden made it an ideal centre for sightseeing. wine tasting, and visiting the Saxon Switzerland= a place of great historical buildings and fabulous scenery. N/A
Really great staff! Did everything possible to make me feel confortable! Everybody (for the first time in a German Hotel) spoke English! Really Huge room! Very very poor breakfast! Less than the basic!!! :-(
it is a pleasant change from the Major hotels
Friendly atmosphere. Nice location. Good food in the restaurant. Out of date room. No air conditioning!!!
Quiet, yet very close to tram to Dresden and about 10 minutes walk to railway station to Dresden or Leipzig and steam narrow gauge railway.Clean, comfortable, very good breakfast, good value for money.
Needs better curtains.
Convenient location in quiet leafy suburb of Dresden. Close to public tranmport shops and restaurants. Good breakfast An over priced Bed and Breakfast with delusions of grandeur. Our room was not serviced during our entire 3 day stay. To add insult to injury they tried to over charge us. No staff on the premises after breakfast, only available by phone.
The hospitality of the staff No
Well welcomed hotel people. Scale of room and equipments so value to stay. Quiet area and can feel old time of surroundings. Many repeater means comfortable of something. Not near to the city and may hardly to find without navigation system. But it is not a much problem.
Very nice landlady, very clean room and very good breakfast. No English speaking staff.
Well, somebody was complaining about staff not speaking English. I dont agree: Mrs. Sabine speaks English and well enough to be very well understood. The hotel is lovely. Is situated in a very peaceful area of Radebeul, quite close to Dresden and Meissen (of course, if you have a car, I don't know the public transport), is very clean and beautifully decorated with old style furniture. The parking space is large enough to accomodate quite a few guests, the breakfast was very diversified and tasty. The garden is splendid, too bad we've been there at the begining of December. Rooms are large and absolutely spotless with a very well suplied bathroom. I loved the attention we've got from the owner. It was an absolutely nice stay. Maybe there should be some English speaking channels on TV, but this is a "problem" common to Germany and Austria and, in the end, we came to see Dresden.
The Inn Keeper, Sabine, was fastastic. She speaks some English but does help to know some German, but not essential Nothing
