Built in 1998 and launched in 2001, Radiance of the Seas is part of the Royal Caribbean Int. fleet of cruise ships. In 2011, a $20 million investment gave the ship a stunning update. Catering to 2,139 guests and 894 crew members, this cruise ship sails to the South Pacific, North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Alaska, as well as offering Ocean Voyages. There are a number of thrilling shore excursions to do, while cruising with Radiance of the Seas. These include visiting the fascinating Totem Heritage Centre in Ketchikan, Alaska, meeting some of Australia’s most famous residents in Brisbane’s Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, and swimming or sunbathing on the idyllic shores of Waikiki Beach, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Radiance of the Seas caters to all ages. It is a great choice for families, offering dedicated clubs for both kids and teens. Accommodation options are varied, but all rooms provide a comfortable and spacious stay. Choose from an interior or balcony staterooms, the latter of which enable passengers to enjoy amazing views of the ocean from their own private balcony.
