Pros: Very nice host who made you feel very welcome. The house is very authentc outside and inside very delicately designed. We will absolutely come back
Pros: The terrace, the room, the breakfast, the countryside all around the place. Everything was very nice.
Pros: Warm fire when we arrived, very hospital people, relaxing music, fantastic suite.
Pros: lovely house, nice people, and well located. the room was pretty, comfortable and clean. we had a nice breackfast.
Cons: we had a cold shower, likely someone who emptied the water tank.
Pros: The hosts were warm and welcoming, super kind. The place was spotless and the views were calming and peaceful. Very much enjoyed the rest.
Cons: I liked everything except the top floor bath set-up. People with limited mobility or knee issues find getting up and down somewhat problematic. But it is very lovely to look at.
Pros: Countryside, friendly and very accommodating hosts, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, cozy fireplace in the den/breakfast room, close to Aachen and Eupen.
Pros: Everything! Beautiful house in a quiet neighbourhood, the room is big and clean, stunning view, good breakfast, very friendly owners, beautiful walk in the area,...
Pros: The accommodation was amazing! A cottage in the country with a Grand Designs style box. First class room and breakfast. We used it for a Formula 1 weekend, 30 miles from the racetrack with beautiful views. Quiet. After the race, the owners cooked us a meal! Fabulous. We would definitely stay there again.
Pros: Everything, the place, the surroundings, the breakfast was wonderful.
Pros: The attention to detail in the room was really lovely. All the towels were neatly rolled and everything was immaculate. The bedroom was light and large and the wooden floorboards made it cosy. Dog friendly! Owner also has a dog. Fantastic walks and views from the house - great for a dog owner. The breakfast was an absolute highlight. I would really recommend this to those who seek peace and something special.
Cons: The kids double bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable - but the adult one was really comfy.
Pros: We stayed overnight (two adults and eight year old), early December, on our way to visit Monschau Christmas market (great, small, rustic market). Very spacious room, lovely decor. Suitable to stay with kids (extra sofa-bed, fridge, kettle, board and card games, TV, heating working very well). Breakfast was a special experience, as we could choose what time we would like to have it, were served alone, food was delicious and plentiful! Despite the place is quite remote (rural side road), it is easy to find it as there are road signs showing the way few miles in advance. Lady owner is very professional, kind and helpful.
Cons: Not a single thing that we didn’t like.
Pros: Very friendly host that called us upfront to see what time we would arrive. The room was big, tidy, had all comfort and a great view. We also liked the breakfast, the food and the setting were nearly perfect for us.
Pros: Lovely kind lady runs the place. It's like having an exclusive suite - a huge sitting room and bathroom all to oneself. Truely amazing breakfast - all home-made products.
Pros: Lovely and quiet location and a fabulous breakfast.
Cons: The double bed looked more comfortable than it was. It is a little far from the town centre but it is very quiet as a result!
Pros: Everything was as expected, based on the reviews on Booking. What it was exceptional, was the breakfast and the room where it was served. Also to be mentioned three major points : the friendliness of Hildegarde, the cleanliness of the place and a lot of society games on the room. Thanks a lot !!!
Pros: Everything from location and accomodation to host and breakfast.

Pros: Renovated hotel with a very nice concept close to the centre of Eupen. Definitely recommended.
Pros: Very clean en comfortable room, good breakfast and very friendly staf.
Cons: The cars in the street were a bit noisy sometimes.
Pros: Great small clean hotel with unique features!
Cons: No Reastaurant on Sunday evening and glass door to bathroom not great when sharing a room with your kids.
Pros: Simple and nicely laid out room with interesting gadgets : a convertible plank to put your suitcase, a sliding door to block the entrance hall... Wood all around. The personnel is top, good breakfast. For that price, you can't go wrong.
Cons: The desk could be a little bigger for business travelers but that's a detail. The toilet and shower share the same floor wich ask some getting used to as it is wet after the shower. I've had better beds.
Pros: Bed and bed linen extremely comfortable and crisp cotton. Breakfast was excellent and when I asked if I could purchase a couple of bread rolls, they gave them to me free of charge in a little bag. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere. They even give you a bottle of water for your room.
Pros: Breakfast was quite good. The facilities are very nicely decorated, almost entirely in wood. The rooms are interesting in that the shower & toilet are one room with the sink next to the bed. Kind of modern, old-school.
Cons: Sadly, I had a street side room and when the window was open, it was quite noisy. Also, the internet worked kind of sporadically. Theoretically, they had Netflix but it wouldn't work because the TV wasn't hooked to the internet. Beyond that, parking is either on the street or, like me, around the corner in the public lot.
Pros: Eco hotel
Cons: Very limited English for the service people and not too friendly, besides that all good
Pros: Nice, unexpected outside area attached to room. Small piece of chocolate provided. Good shower. Beautiful wooden rooms.
Cons: No kettle in room (wasn't listed in description, but still disappointed by lack of kettle - I need coffee in the mornings). No shower curtain/wall, so whole of bathrooms gets wet. Even with window open (and max day temperature only 14degrees) the room was too warm during the night.
Pros: Very helpful staff, excellent breakfast, very clean, cleverly designed with wood- liked the ‘eco’ concept behind it.

Pros: Our family room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Really friendly greeting from the host in the morning, over a good breakfast. Perfect for an overnight stay on the way through.
Cons: There was a slightly strange smell in the room but it didn't affect our stay.
Pros: Acess to the local pool, very friendly staff Good breakfast
Cons: The door system with code makes you have to keep the code close ...
Pros: Rooms amazing
Cons: Not much selection for breakfast but then is not England to get full english in the morning.
Pros: Big room. Good beds. Nice Bathroom, good breakfast.
Cons: Electronic door access very fiddly to operate (6 figure access code every time you want to enter your room. No reception staff after 16:00. Front door locked from that time. You have to enter using rear door and two kinds of access code. No bar. Only a vending machine.Noisy heating system pinging and groaning all night. Sound of pumps and fans in the night. Sound from other rooms seems to travel. Hotel seemed to advertise a swimming pool but in fact there is no pool. They just offer free swimming at a sports center in the town..that's quite naughty.
Pros: fresh cooked omelet, everything we have for breakfast was available, just fine
Pros: The breakfast was very good. Freshly cooked eggs to your liking. The hotel offfers a choice of both a cooked breakfast and continental. I had requested additional duvets and the hotel provided them. The hotel staff were very friendly and explained everything upon check-in. Comfortable beds and a good shower.
Cons: The entry lock on the back door can be a little tricky but once you master it you will have no problems. The pillows could have been a bit softer.
Pros: nice family rooms with double deck, good location, close to Aachem (10 min with taxi) and good breakfast. Staff is kind and helpful
Cons: reception doesn't work 24/7; you need to call and agree the time of arrival in advance. We went to Christmas market and when we got back e-access system to the hotel wasn't working properly.
Pros: Sfaff was very friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to assist you. When checking in the young lady explained everything we needed to know, which was a great help.
Cons: There is no AC in the rooms, and this summer is hot , shower gel and shampoo are provided only once for a 4 nights stay in a family room !!
Pros: Nice location in Neutral Moresnet. Very kindly staffs. Hot omelet was served at breakfast!

Pros: Excellent location and facilities. The restaurant is an asset together with the swimming pool.ecellent parking possibilities too and easy access from highway
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Considering the weather (30+deg), room was extremely warm... Even, that we opened window and door to get some air...
Pros: Location was superb, close to motorway with easy access to Belgium or Germany. Staff was lovely, friendly. All in all very nice cosy place to stay.
Pros: Nice family owned hotel with swimmingpool pool
Pros: Personnel as usual is quite friendly. Clean rooms . Parking . Possibility to stay with the pet.
Pros: Free parking place. Good breakfast. Restaurant was good.
Cons: Check-out at 10.
Pros: Easy going, friendly seevice
Pros: Loved that it was close to the spa and the room was huge. Very clean. Fresh fruit and free Fanta was a plus! Had a great nights sleep. Curtains very dark for sleeping. A+!
Pros: It is a very comfortable and lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The bicycles storage facilities is a big bonus for us. Thanks
Cons: It will be a bonus to have some tea, coffee facilities and a small refrigerator. Thanks
Pros: Fantastic restaurant, great breakfast, polite and friendly staff.
Cons: The smell of humidity in the room and the noise from the road.

Aachen is 20 km from the accommodation, while Valkenburg is 38 km from the property. The nearest airport is Liège Airport, 48 km from Gîte d'Etape Eupen Jugendherberge.
Pros: Okayish price Breakfast was just okay.
Cons: . The rooms are recently rennovated, although you can still see light switchs repaired with sticky tape, or broken parts here and there. Breakfast quality was also poor, the cheese plate was served over some lettuce leaves that were not at good condition.
Pros: Great value for a stop-over, with breakfast included.
Cons: No air-conditioning... so it was hotter in our room than outside....
Pros: Extremely friendly and helpful staff almost always staffed reception The view from the terrace is ver nice
Cons: Almost no WiFi in the room, quite noisy For a room for this price you could get more in other cities with more choices. I guess for a bed in a dorm it’s ok but the rooms are out of the proportion more expensive
Pros: Very clean room with a lot of space. Bathroom with shower of our own. Free parking lot. Easy to find.
Cons: Very simple Breakfast on sunday. Some cacao and a second type of cheese and cold cuts would be nice.
Pros: Panoramic location over looking the town. Quite location.
Pros: The staff are really friendly and helpful, even lending me a pump so I could re-inflate my tyre. The room was really spacious and clean, and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was also ample and satisfying. Excellent value for money, and I'd definitely stay there again.
Cons: Not their fault, but waking up to find I had a puncture.
Pros: Very friendly staff, new furnishings, beautiful view from window
Cons: Other guests (teenagers) noisy, very thin walls, only very basic funishings (pillow very uncomfortable), very limited public transport, steep climb and longish walk from Eupen train station
Pros: close to place we had go to next day
Cons: very very poor breakfast, NO TOWELS IN A ROOM, reception works only till 8.00 pm, so there was no posibility to ask for any towel too;-/ Generaly this place is more for children not for business visitors;-/
Pros: It is value for the money and quite close to the centre. It is very basic room but everything is quite clean. Everything is also working properly.
Cons: It is very noisy with kids , especially in the morning. I can understand if this place is meant for the weekend out with school or things but they should consider there is other people stay in the same hotel too.
Pros: The location of the building is definitely not inside the city center but therefore quiet and if you have a view from your room, it should be great. Breakfast is quite better than average. Communication (in English) is great, reception speaks the language well. In general the communication before arriving was excellent. All guests receives a nice welcome letter and instruction sheet with all need-to-know information like wifi code, breakfast time etc.
Cons: There are some problems worth mentioning, not all of them serious. It is however definitely an issue that the wifi does not work on the entire second floor at all. Did not check the first floor but the signal even in the breakfast room is quite weak and upstairs it is absolutely nothing. So, there is a free wifi indeed but if you cannot use it then it is worthless. The earing times are very strict (breakfast for example from 8:15 until 9:00) but there is a flexibility if you ask for it in advance. The view on the second floor could be blocked by the building's own structure, so you have basically zero view. The single room in general is very small, there is only a bed, a small cupboard and one chair inside. No towels provided - bring your own!

Pros: Within walking distance of Kabelwerk Eupen for work. Extensive renovations with new reception and nice breakfast/lunch/dinner area. Terras next to river for a cool beer after work. Plenty of parking on two nearby free of charge public parkings. Parking for two cars in front of hotel to un-load luggage. Friendly reception. Big room.
Cons: Always noise from traffic as hotel is located on a busy road junction.
Pros: variance of the offer
Pros: We asked to move to non-smoking room and go an upgrade to bigger room. Helpful staff. Located at the start of 10km site-seeing walk.
Cons: The room we got first was clearly a smoking room, the stuff was surprised, but there was an ashtray on the table ). Breakfast is quite basic.
Pros: Nearby the city
Cons: Ok, but not a lot of appearance
Pros: Liked everything.
Cons: Everything suited us perfectly. Very picturesque location - great views from room windows.
Pros: Nice restaurant and Dinner, staid in one of the new renovated double rooms which is obviously ongoing
Pros: The breakfast was superb. Pistolets, bread, croissants, eggs and bacon, pancakes, fruits of all sorts, fruit salad, yoghurt, muesli, the usual sweets and salts for the pistolets and bread, and even smoked salmon! Good start of a day hike on the GR 537 to Hockai. (The route passes 25 metres from the hotel.) For easter, chocolate eggs were even provided at the reception! The room was ridiculously spacious, very comfortable bed, toilet separate from the bathroom.
Cons: If I would have to be really really really picky: the croissants were home-baked, and as typical with such croissants, a little bit too greasy. But that's really a minor point, only mentioned because there's a box "What didn't you like?".
Pros: Great breakfast. Great and friendly staff. Great location close to bus stop.
Cons: No Fresh pressed orange juice at the breakfast. A bit noisy hotel. My room was on the first floor and I could hear a lot af footsteps from everywhere in the hotel all during the evening.
Pros: I travelled with older family (my mum & aunt), we were put in the refurbished rooms which were wonderful. Rooms were furnished and equipped to a good standard- esp having a fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: facilities were limited- no where to sit and have a coffee during the day, no pool or gym.

Hotel facilities: WiFi internet, parking and rooms with TV. In December, visit t he famous Christmas Market of Aachen and eat their famous 'spitzkuchen'. East Belgium and the Ardennes are the perfect place for outdoor sports like hiking and biking. Or visit the authentic Castle of Raeren.
Pros: The staff were very nice and friendly but that's about it!
Cons: I expected it to be noisy as its just off the motorway but it was beyond noisy!! I did not get any sleep whatsoever. The room is as hot as hell. It was 30C! No air or ventilation. I asked the receptionist for a fan, she said she had mentioned this to the management and other people had asked for this as well. However they did not have anything available. I would not stay here again, even as a stop over whilst travelling back to the UK and to be honest thats saying something given the fact I have travelled all around India and stayed in very questionable "dives" costing £1 a night!!
Cons: smells funny, expensive breakfast, not worth it at all
Pros: Conveniently on the autobahn
Pros: Ease of access with LKV
Cons: Air conditioning would be nice
Pros: The room was clean, staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: The noise of motorway outside is unbearable. It is either stuffy inside the room, or you open the window and get "fresh air", but cannot sleep because of the noise of trucks zooming by...
Cons: Difficult to park, busy car park
Pros: We just stay one night break on our journey from Great Britain. For simple sleep is very good.
Pros: Check in 24 hours, simple nice and clean, good on price, breakfast superb...
Cons: AC missing, to worm, opening the windows was to noise, motorways nearer!
Pros: Clean and helpful staff
Cons: The TV Channels.
Cons: Very small room for three people. Stuffy in the room, no ventilation. With the window open you can hear the bustling noise from the highway. Awful towels.
