very close to E40 motorway
good location, easy to find, confortable bed at long last! there are too big camion park next to the hotel.
Convenient, on the border breaking a long journey from North England to Austria. Good value for money. Friendly staff and despite being next to a motorway, fairly quiet. The room (132) had a bit of a musty smell to it but nothing to complain about. Breakfast starts a bit late (07.30)
The hotel was everything I needed - a clean comfortable place to stay a (short) night right on the motorway.I arrived in the snow and dark and could park right outside. My room (which would have slept 3) with shower, basin in the room and separate toilet was excellent.Well planned and clean. The radio element of the TV wouldn't work.I had no desire to watch the television.
The hotel is clean and new. Staff is kind and courtious. I would recommend it for people on a budget.
Hotel Staff helping with complicated Internet access
Friendly and polite staff & free wifi access.
The building is simple but functional, clean and it seems that every detail is well studied during design process.
This is a budget hotel in a motorway service area - in this context it is a fine place.
Staff were efficient the public areas were light airy and comfortable. My TV remote didn't work and took some time to be fixed There was nothing I didn't like
Close to destination, easy to get to, quiet and perfect for an overnight stay
A nice modern hotel, large bedrroom with very comfortable bed. Free parking and wifi big plus. Strange chap at reception when we arrive, he just kept pointing to his right mumbling something. Until finally someone came to check us in. Bedroom very dark no light where the office is situated hard to see the keyboard.
Restaurant was good - but operated separately from hotel as a franchise. No-one at reception for 20 minutes, booked 2 single rooms, given duplex room instead but charged for single rooms,no wastebins, no bed headboards, some lamps not working, key jammed in door lock every time, heating not working. Disused fittings with sharp edges left in shower.
The hotel has excellent rooms, especially if you choose a presidential suite with a jacuzzi for a good price. The hotel is new and the rooms are equiped with nice furniture and very clean. There is a swimming pool outside and free parking lots. We didn't try the restaurant.
Fantastic! Much more luxury for the price than I expected. Good position for getting around and a short walk to the town centre.
excellent reception, efficient, polite and helpful staff, good dining room with excellent food and service available late in the evening. The dining room is a bit too noisy with a full room and music a bit too loud.
The staff were very friendly and cooperative. The rooms tasteful and comfortable. The food attractively presented and very good. The location is ideal for getting in and out of Verviers easily to other local interesting places. The cars actually park on sandy gravel in the car park which, when wet (which is often!), can splash over your shoes and is carried onto the carpets in the car. A lot to ask, but could the car stands not be asphalted?
Wonderful modern hotel with excellent services and amenities. Bar was an excellent choice for dinner. The area doesn't offer much to tourists other than a stopping point for the night.
Old commercial building perfectly restored. Cosy and confortable. Reasonable prices. A must if you have to stay in this area.
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and our room was spacious and comfortable.
The hotel room was comfortable, the bathroom large and there is good heating for the winter and good opening windows. The dining staff are helpful and appear to speak French, German and English as a matter of course. This was not our first stay, and we have recommended it to others already.
The staff were excellent, and the food was superb.
excellent staff and lovely rooms air conditioning would be a nice extra!
The rooms are very spacious, practical and well laid out The parking facilities are poor and at weekends the whole hotel is dominated by functions being held at the hotel to the detriment of hotel guests. The hotel does not seem to be able to look after its guests and outside parties at the same time.
Very pleasing and welcoming staff, also the willingness to provide information.
The hotel was immaculate, the food superb and the staff were very pleasant. Overall, superb.
Helpful friendly staff. For a European hotel, the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Very clean rooms.
I found the staff extremely effjcient, helpful and courteous. I required some assistance with travel arrangements and language translation, the staff went out of their way to help me with each and every request. My room was fresh, clean and extremely comfortable. The hotel is centrally located and although at a busy roundabout, the room was soundproof and ensured a good night's sleep. No
Excellent beds, huge bathroom, river view
We were very well looked after, the staff were very attentive and worked hard on using English (& trying to understand my french) to make our stay more comfortable.
Very long service time in the resto. We waited at least for more than 1 hour on the first dish.
breakfast brilliant need radio / tv in room
Very friendly staff, lovely thalgo centre with pool, hotel very clean, quiet and calm location.
The welcome and staff
The surroundings. The hotel is situated in a nice landscape, peaceful and quiet. The hotel staff is extremely kind and helpful. Hotel is a bit dated on the decoration side however good value for money.
The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The location was very nice with close proximity to walking routes and outdoor facilities were great for children. The hotel needs substantial refurbishment to arrive at normal standards. It does not appear to be a 4 star hotel but in the 2 to 3 star range. My room for the first day was very old, outdated and it had a bad smell to it - do not accept to stay in a room on the first floor that has not been renovated. The staff kindly obliged my request to change rooms on the second day of my visit. The second room was acceptable. The facilities such as pool, sauna, steam bath (which was not working for a short period) are in need of imrovement to meet current standards. The hotel is under new ownership and is in the process of some cosmetic improvement.
Pool and kids out door equipment. helpfull freindly staff. The hotel was advertised as a family hotel. I would yes for children over the age of 7. The restaurant needs to open earlier of young families, Ie around 1800hrs, the service was good but clearly understaffed and the wait between courses for children was far too long. While waiting for the restaurant to open I had to go looking for a bar person to get a drink in the end the receptionist had to come and serve me.
The staff were helpful and very pleasant. The location was a bit out of the way for what we needed.
Old hotel. Certainly not a 4 star. Needs refurbishment and organisation. The breakfast was very badly organised and we waited 30 mins for more food
Very comfortable and quiet. Probably the best breakfast we have enjoyed in Belgium.
Nice small hotel with friendly staff and good restaurant. We booked two rooms, who were different but both nicely decorated and comfortable. The curtains don't block all the light from entering the room.
Very friendly and hospitable. Great breakfast buffet. The rooms were clean, spacious, and charming. All the charm of a B&B but with the facilities and services of a hotel.
Excellent room. Excellent breakfast with very good choice Evening meal was pricey. Did not appear to be other restaurants in the area in fact the hotel is on the edge of an industrial area. Even so, for us, if the evening meal was lower in price this would be a good choice for an overnight stay.
The dinners were exceptional and the environment of the highest quaity.
Food was excellent and measured pace of service made for a very enjoyable evening. Room was well appointed and clean.
We had the suite and it was a large room with colorful decorations. The dining rooms and the grounds are very pleasant. The owner was very helpful and courteous. The hotel is directly opposite a distribution center with semi trucks entering throughout the day and evening. The bathroom in the suite was very large but had a slight odor as though dampness may be causing mildew.
The owner of the hotel is a really nice guy trying to make your stay as good as possible.
It is a very beautiful hotel, the rooms are decorated to an exceptionally high standard. We stayed in Belle de Nuit and it was simply lovely. Very spacious, large bathroom with a raised, deep bath and very good separate shower. The restaurant is exceptional, original and delicious food. Wonderful!
Convenient, efficient service, quiet, quite complete breakfast buffet Overall external aspect of the building not very charming, but once inside, OK.
polite and interested staff. slightly 'off beat' establishment (in a good way)
The staff which was very friendly. Also the room was very comfortable and I also had free internet connection what was important for me. The staff agreed to prolong my staying for 2 additional hours for free so I am very appreciate to them.
Closeness to countryside to walk my dog, food excellent, room very comfortable and staff very friendly not really - found the sports facilities within the complex a bit noisy
A slightly quirky almost "industrial building" thats not quite finished. inside though an aladins cave of facility ;indoor tennis courts /badminton and golf.Friendly staff, small cosy bar area and also clean restaurant, with simple menu. Rooms were clean and comfortable
Staff and owner very pleasent, food good. Hotel could be good if one or two things were sorted out. The Hotel closes at sunday lunch and reopens monday, which were not told. You have to use the night key to get in and out and there was no food or drink available. A problem when the tap water was brown and undrinkable. The owner showed us to a resteraunt in Verviers but overall this was disappointing. Health & Safety issues with doors and stairs and our room door was left open by staff.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
nice prices and ok rooms. poor location.
I like the natur (mountan and a town. No
Watching indoor tennis whilst eating dinner. Good breakfast buffet. Free wi-fi. Some construction and decorating work detracted from the ambiance. Limited menu.
We were priviledged to stay in a very special suite with sauna, jacuzzi, wide-screen tv, computer, and everything you could want (including a fabulous frog collection!) The view from the back was charming and unexpected. None
nice room More a general remark for all hotels in this area, that they only speak french
The breakfast is excelent! The cost/benefit.
We were made very welcome will use again!!!!!
breakfast Poor condition of room, Cracked window, dusty floor, small beds, dated bathroom, poor access to shower door, recieption phone not always manned (not handy when you need directions). Kitchen was Filthy (I saw it) smoking ashtray on kitchen working surface, dirty zink, dirty floor.
Great staff, chef - made dinners by request that were not on the menu... Very quiet, spookily so...
The relaxed atmosphere, newly refurbished rooms, breakfast. Hard to find in the dark, not well lit at night.
it was close to the Spa Francorchamps racing circuit. Only took cash and the room, for which in the centre of Paris I'd pay only 50 Euro, was 275 Euro.
That it was close to the skiing tracks. That the room was freezing cold and had mold in the corners.
Very friendly hotel manager, good breakfast.
