Pros: Restaurant was really nice and tasty. Spa is goog, clean and convenient but pity we can use only 1 hour and it was overcrowded Massagist was also nice and high skilled. Convenient and clean room.

Pros: Nice breakfast, SPA, outdoor jaccusi, balcony
Cons: No tea/coffee making facility at the room
Cons: In junior sweet wasn`t small fridge and too small TV
Pros: We only stayed one night but the experience made the whole trip to Riga worth it. The hotel is very fresh, the personal helpful and best of all is the spa facility. Great massages and steam sauna for reasonable prices.
Cons: The hotel is 50 km east of Riga but the communications are good. Me and my girlfriend took bus and a cab, total one way cost: 7 Lats. It was worth it.
Pros: cuisine; SPA; accomodation
Cons: location - not in the city, comfort (hair dryers, mini bars); working hours of restaurant and SPA

Pros: Nice hotel in a rather quiet location further away from town center, friendly and helpful staff, good, spacious and cozy room, very descent SPA complex. On-premises restaurant serves a great dinner menu, great wine selection, as well as very nice breakfast buffet
Cons: Sound isolation in the rooms is not perfect, neighbors could be easily awake in case you talk or watch TV
Pros: Room spacious, cleaned daily. Well-kept. Very nice service. I recommend for visiting Sigulda
Pros: A cute small spa, but everything was great- simply but delicious breakfast.. for the price - amazing preformance. bed was comfy and big.
Pros: We spontaneously booked this hotel in the evening for 1 night and left early, but we had a pleasant stay. Delicious breakfast, nice room. We also received a extra towels and bathrobes for the spa that we visited for just a small amount of money. We were the only ones there so we did quite enjoy it a lot.
Cons: The location is not that nice, it's in the industrial part(?). But if you have a car you can get anywhere easily, and the town isn't that big so you could walk to the pretty places.
Pros: Great spa, really nice breakfast. Quite comfortable and quiet. Good place for relaxation after a hike around the National park.
Cons: Location is not great but in 15 min you get to train station. As a 4 star could be better equipped inside the rooms.
Located in Sigulda, within the borders of the Gauja National Park, Krimuldas Muiža offers accommodation in dormitories with shared bathrooms or rooms with private bathrooms. Pros: Clean, beautiful location, great value for money, interesting place to stay.
Cons: It isn't really a manor any more. It's a rather dated hospital. I'm not sure it should be advertised as a manor.
Pros: In a wonderful manor
Pros: The large room and bed, the possibility to have a bath.
Cons: There was not a good smell in the bathroom, beccause of droping water outside the toilet.
Pros: Cheap, perfect location for hiking in the national park nearby and a really picturesque view from the rooms. Beds were reasonably comfy and rooms themselves were spacious and clean. Lady who runs the place was super nice and helpful :) Would recommend for people wanting to explore the national park in Sigulda as it is cheap and beautiful.
Cons: Showers were not that clean. Definitely needs a proper scrubbing. Having a kitchen facility would be a massive bonus to this property for guests to use.
Pros: Goog looking old building, really nice staff, great view to the city (from the hillside, across Gauja river)
Cons: Approx. 10 km from the city center by car/taxi (9€), approx 2.5 km on foot, yet you have to climb very steep stairs to get there
Pros: Place itself, accommodation, check-in/check-out, location.
When you stay at Porto Resort in Lilaste, you'll be near the beach and 6 minutes by car from Sunset Trailhead. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and a 24-hour front desk.
Pros: Excellent value for money. I have been here 2 times already, first in a room in the main building and the latest visit on a cabin. Sound isolation inside the rooms in the main building could be better, but not horrible. Would you stay here during a party it could be disturbing though. Both the room and the cabin were clean and very comfortable. The sauna is one of the best I have encountered during my travels in the baltics, and also features a cold water pool. As I arrived quite late (22:30) I was really surprised that they offered to turn the sauna on for me! I really appreciate that. They also offer spa and gym facilities, but unfortunately I arrived late on both occasions and they were already closed. If you travel with a dog, they do welcome the pets but I was charged additional 10€ for my dog. Something you may want to prepare as for additional cost. Breakfast was good, menu is a standard continental breakfast. Coffee was really good. Overall, I have gotten way better value for the paid amount I would have ever expected + the location could not be better for "via baltica" travellers.
Pros: The cottage is by the lake and it has a kitchen inside and a private parking place. Perfect accompdation for summer months.
Cons: Old tv with 2 low quality challels, kitchen was supposed to have microvawe. Ladder to upper bedroom is almost impossivle to climb without shoes, upper bedroow without bed and security fence. So for comfort stay it's bettet to chose a room in main building.
Pros: Amazing place, great breakfast, view incredible.
Cons: Really thin and sound-permeable walls.
Pros: My 3rd stay at Porto Resort did not disappoint this time either. The staff is amazingly friendly, and willing to walk the "extra mile" on making their guests feel happy and welcome. Again they heated up the sauna for me late in the evening and while also preparing for an early checkout and risking to miss out on the breakfast they suggested to prepare one for just me at 6am. And it was delicious
Pros: Big clean room, near forrest, breakfest possible get before you leave (normal start 7-8, we need it before 6)
Pros: Everything! Very nice and clean hotel. This was 5. time to me in this hotel, and allways i travel with dogs, and they can come here.
Pros: many things to do for the children, near the lake, boatrental, breakfast was ok. Nice view on the lake from the hotelroom.
Cons: Dont come here and try to sleep whitout alcohol, beds are very unconfortabel and samll, and it was very noisy.
Pros: fantastic hotel lovely location by lake and plenty of wood every where good food and beer
Cons: the confounded electric bird sounds from the reed beds !
Pros: The Hotel is a beautiful building in a beautiful setting. The staff was very helpful and did everything to make our stay a pleasant experience. There is an extra charge for the use of the sauna but the quality of the sauna makes that an excellent investment.
Pros: Wifi didn't work properly in my room.
Pros: The place is just great! Beautiful nature.
Cons: There wasn't many TV chanels. Just 10 of them, and practicaly all Latvian ((((
Pros: + near railway station + clean + teapot in the room
Cons: The host didn’t let the kids play in the garden swing!! She said the dog is not friendly!! Why keep a dog who is not friendly in a guest house!!! The linens were disgusting!!! We didn’t use them at alll !!
Pros: The apartment itself is great. Everything you need and everything you want!
Pros: Good location. Only 5 minutes walking from railway station. All- equipped kitchen, microwave and oven included. Supermarket nearby.
Cons: The sauna, which our kids quite expected, was not available and the host didn't explain to us.
Pros: Due to snow-free January, we were only ones in guesthouse so even though our room only had a kettle/ cups, we could use the entire kitchen/dining downstairs ( equipped almost like at home, even basic groceries!) at all times, but no dishwasher or washing machine. We were happy with our personal kitchen though. Room on 1st floor, was clean, light, secure with good shower and comfortable bed. Extra blankets supplied if needed, plus fridge in passage. Excellent Wifi. Close to train station and buses, near centre, but beware, buses from Cesis drop you on Riga main road,( on a Sunday anyway) NOT at train/ bus station, about 1.7 km away, so a long walk when dark/ rainy if unaware!( Riga/ Turaida buses drop you at train/ bus station closer to centre.) Owners live on site at back, so ease of checkin. Maxima supermarket and castle not too far away.
Cons: Smoke alarm beeping in room woke us at 5 am. Battery needed changing, unfortunate timing! Otherwise, all good!
Located just 2 km from the centre of Sigulda, this romantic, alpine-style guesthouse offers a quiet, relaxing accommodation in a beautiful natural environment. The Kakitis offers a sauna complex with several saunas, a hot tub and a sauna bar, all available at a surcharge. The nearby adventure park on Kakitis Hill provides skiing fun in winter and a variety of activities in summer. The pub serves a wide range of tasty meals in every season. From the wide terrace you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area in the warm season, while you can sit by the cosy fireplace in winter. Ski and snowboard rental, as well as a playroom for children, are also available at the Kakitis. The beautiful Gauja Valley and the famous bobsleigh and toboggan run of Sigulda are nearby.
Pros: The breakfast was really good. Not expected this, so was surprised :)
Cons: Difficult to find what was not good or we did not like. Everything was very good. Parking, room, place, surroundings, breakfast. All was good
Pros: We felt good there, their spa facilities are great, it s a must and worth the extra price. Good breakfast and polite staff.
Cons: Rooms a bit on the simple side, was expecting more I guess.
Pros: The 4-person room was very comfortable and spacious enough to spend time in in the evening, not just sleep. There was also space indoors for bicycles. Beautiful and quiet neighbourhood with good access to both nature trails and town centre. Very decent breakfast and on-site restaurant for other meals.
Cons: There was some problem with hot water the last morning. Also, a few more clothes racks or a closet in the room would be handy, there were very few places to hang four people's clothes in the room and towels in the bathroom. Drinking cups might also be a good addition.
Situated in Sigulda, this hotel is 2.6 mi (4.2 km) from Sigulda Castle and within 6 mi (10 km) of Turaida Castle and Gauja National Park. St. John's Church and Cesis Castle are also within 25 mi (40 km).
Pros: Perfect location-everything near, comfy beds and perfect pillow high, nice and clean room, perfect staff
Cons: Only minus was poor Tv channel choise and quality
Pros: The hotel is really pretty and located close to shopping centre. We stayed in 4 budget rooms as we had an event with sauna and hottub that you can pay for seperately. Was a good value and breakfast wasn't bad. Hotel also has fancier rooms which are lovely. Would definitely recommend in winter.
Cons: Pillows were tiny. Super tiny.
Pros: Situated close to the road and Rimi supermarket, big rooms, looks very nice outside and on the photos, big parking onsite
Cons: Overpriced (costs twice more than much better hotels in other cities), only twin beds, breakfast was very poor (had to go to supermarket for coffee and croisant), room was a bit dirty and there was no renovation for long time, located far from center
Pros: Sauna and outside Jacuzzi was Super for our party. Their host Zaiga was super helpful. Thank you so much!!!
Cons: Beds were quite small (if single)
Pros: The room was very clean, bed linen and towels white, thank you! Parking available. Quiet, which was important for us. Friendly staff. And very good location.
Cons: Visited in winter, when came inside the room the first time, it was hot and stuffy. Fortunately opening the window and turning down the heat, solved the problem. Choice of TV channels and picture quality leaves a lot to be desired.
Cons: We have eded up not staying.

Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The accommodation was in an old building and was characterful and comfortable. The lady who booked us in was so helpful and spoke very good English. She helped us to hire a car and made us feel very welcome. Below the accommodation was a very affordable local canteen style Latvian restaurant and also a lovely bakery. The restaurant staff were delightful and were so friendly. Great location also. All in all a very authentic and lovely stay but staff were the highlight for us. Lovely people.
Pros: Good decoration Well cleaned Big bathroom
Cons: Couch was uncomfortable
Pros: Delicious breakfast with wide variety of choice. Hot breakfast dishes, salads, juices, coffee, tea, cosy cafe
Cons: Had to go to another building for breakfast.
Pros: Very close to the train station, to buffets and a restaurant, grocery store is nearby. Comfortable place with two tables and sofas on the second floor, calm place, close to their spectacular hills and caves. Friendly personnel. Tea, coffee, sugar, kettle, tea-tray and cups are included for free except you will have your tea standing in vertical position (read below). It was really warm inside when the outside temperature was about 2C above zero.
Cons: Neither table nor any surface that can be used as a table at all for the tea. Dim light in the shower. The lady tried to explain me that the hightec table lamp with blinking bulb is not a defect a feature, so it stopped working in 45 minutes the same evening. No chairs in the room as well (no space I'd say). The towels should be white, not green.
Pros: Rather old hotel with old furniture in the room, it could do with some good maintenance, but nevertheless it's very clean, comfy and overall looking good. Breakfast served in the bistro downstairs very tasty. Good value for money
Pros: Hospitality, Breakfast & Location were the best things this place offered
Pros: visit sorrounds
Cons: too much hot in room
Pros: Personal is friendly.
Cons: If you like tremors of nightclub up to 5 AM, everything is ok.
Situated just 600 metres from Sigulda’s city centre, this guest house offers a lush garden with hammocks and barbecue facilities. The Brick Gothic Castle in Turaida is just 6 km away. Some rooms at Rasas have a private bathroom, satellite TV and central heating. Some rooms also have a balcony overlooking the garden. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire property and guests can make free use of the shared kitchen and dining room.
Pros: Simple but cosy and quiet room in the house of the owners, but on the first floor with just another room on the opposite. There was a shared kitchen for these two rooms which had the necessary things. The hosts were nice and communicative, it helps to speak a bit of Russian to be able to exchange more.
Cons: The bathroom was quite large but also quite old.
Pros: bit dated, but very clean and really nice owner. shared kitchen was equipped well, beds were comfy and bathroom was clean. few minutes walk to the center. parking spot right in front of the house for free.
Pros: The owner is super nice. So I felt welcomed the minute i arrived.
Cons: niks, bed sliep goed, keuken had alles, niks te klagen
Pros: 10 min to walk to sigulda centre. Room very clear. Owner very friendly.
Cons: Everything was ok.
Pros: The hosts are lovely and very welcoming. They don't speak English but we managed with our very limited German and their even more limited English we managed. The property is old style so wouldn't suit everyone but we really liked it and felt very comfortable. We had the top floor to ourselves with a living room with bedroom off it and a bathroom and toilet off the landing. There was a fridge, microwave and everything needed for providing your own light meal of breakfast on the landing. Sigulda is quite spread out so it is quite a long way to walk to places from the apartment but it is close enough if you have time. We had a car anyway so it is a good base for touring the area.
Pros: Room in this house is like a step back in time. We like it, after 5 minutes! Owners are super nice, no english there, but they are communicative and friendly. Beds are comfortable and clean. We like their dog Bruno.

Pros: Location is good, room is bigger than I expected, friendly staff
Cons: She bed was in bad condition and the water from shower liking on floor

Pros: Good place to stay in the Gulf of Riga. Sandy beach. Pine forest. Good breakfast. Reprofiled territory of the former children's camp.
Cons: Soundproofing is poor. 50 kilometers from Riga.
Pros: Good breakfast. Location is good, near the sea, but shops and center are far. Territory of the hotel is beautiful and good ordered.
Cons: Bad noise isolation, carpet had bad smell like it was very old. Price is too high.
Pros: Good location to the beach.
Cons: The bed wasnt comfortable...

Pros: It was a good place for a night but would like to spend more time there. The decorations of knights looked funny but made a good atmosphere. Nice and big room with big windows, nice city view and comfortable bad. The breakfast was enough well too. And the hotel is in a good location.
Cons: The restaurant could offer more food for dinner and there were no fish food. The breakfast coffee is not tasty. In fact that is all I can say bad about it.
Pros: Very good location. Private parking. Warm floor.
Cons: Awful kitchen smell in halls, corridors, stairs. When you open door into your room - smell gets inside.
Pros: + terrace + huge bath
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: The room was cold. No heater.
Pros: Polite and friendly staff. Nice bed! Comfort location, shop, restaurants, central station nearby.
Cons: Dirty mirror and shower door in the bathroom. The shower had massage options, but it didn’t work.
Pros: Breakfast is not included in the price and at booking there is no information about breakfast at all. The lady at the reception said breakfast at the place was available from 10 am, not sure about the price. Ended up having breakfast in the other hotel nearby.
Pros: Great location near the train station and helpful staff.
Cons: Room was smaller than expected.

Nearby a few bicycle paths are located, as well as bungee jumping facilities. There is a trampoline and a play room for children and a billiards room for guests. The Sigulda Train Station is 2 km away.
Pros: The rooms and bathroom were clean.
Cons: No common area, no kitchen, not even microwave or kettle. It's more like a hotel, not a hostel, but then why have a 6 bed dorm?
Pros: Easy registration, two cats.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff both at the reception and in the restaurant; comfortable, well-kept, clean dorm very new furniture, both single and bunk beds and a shower with good water pressure; a kids' play corner in the corridor; a shopping center just a five-minute walk away, and all of that at a very reasonable price!
